The staff was very friendly and courteous, the free breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were kept clean and comfortable. The courtyard is a great place to sit quietly and read a book when you're not out and about. The location wasn't amazing and the parking was not free (but then again good luck finding free parking anywhere in LA).
Lots of places on site to spend time. Courtyard, pool area, 3rd floor patio, and dining area. If we had planned to spend more time at the hotel. You can see there has been an effort for upgrading the rooms with higher end finishes. The breakfast was great, lots of choices with omlets to order. Close to subway to take to Universal and Hollywood. The woman at the check in counter was snobby. And the internet went down when i was checking in and i had to wait 30 mins to complete. They did give us the key to the room while we waited. $20 a night to park!!! The area outside doesnt look good for family.
Everything but ants. Ants.
Room was quiet. Tv stopped working three times.
-Proximity to Sunset Blvd., stores, Citywalk. -Friendly staff. -Overnight Parking was not listed before purchase & super expensive -- $25 per night! -The floors were dirty when we got into room. -The mini refrigerator was not on when we got to the room. -Air conditioning vents had funky smell. -Vending machines had few options & was broken.
Hotel staff were friendly and flexible. The hotel was very old and one of the original hotels in the area, offering a rather extensive complementary breakfast with an omelet bar. The room was small but offered a nice view of a courtyard with a fountain. The bathroom was rather small with a shower that was definitely not designed for someone over six feet.
This hotel is garbage. We were there for about 40 min at 1030pm.we were laughing but all of a sudden a man came to the door with his hand in a big of chips(looking unprofessional) and said he was from the front desk.. He then proceeded to tell us the next room couldn't sleep. Fine. We kept it down. The next night our toilet flushes for 3 hours and we couldn't sleep... Their solution was to SHUT OFF THE TOILET COMPLETETLY. THIS WAS 337AM. My boyfriend had to use the lobby bathroom at 4am.then the asked f we wanted to switch rooms at that time of the night. But I had finally fallen asleep. So he obviously refused. Because it was after 4am,. The next morning we argued with the manager.... She kept us waiting then asked what we wanted. I wanted our parking comped.... She gave us 2 nights.... Highly disappointing considering the toilet flooded our bathroom and our belongings got soaked. DO NOT STAY HERE. JUST A SCAM. NO HOSPITALITY!!!!, argued with manager for a while before Giving up. She was nice but clearly full of horse shit. She pissed us off alot and almost ruined out trip. Try having your stuff soaked in toilet water at 4am and being told "sorry we will make sure it won't happen to the next person" these people need a refresher course..... I time.
Good value, good location for us on Sunset in Hollywood. Travertine floors were a bit sterile in the room ( no carpet) and heat was inadequate.
Great deal. Much better than expected. Would stay again for future visits.
Tried to turn up thermostat but was instructed to plug in small space heater. In a very shady part of town. Problems with the electrical, couldn't run space heater and oscillating fan at the same time. Also while we were there the hotel was tearing up all the old carpet and the smell was horrible. the mattress was also very hard, woke up to the workers each morning hammering and banging away bright and early.
It was good service overall and close to the metro and bus lines so getting places was easy and made it nice. The area of town though is not very pretty but it's hollywood
Location was good. You have to pay before you stay. I stayed for 3 days. After seeing the room I would have canceled two of the nights and found another place to stay. It was the worst part of our trip. All of the 10 reviews are fake the place was a dump.
Excellent Rooms that were clean and comfy Parking was small. The last night we had to wait an hour for somebody to leave just so we could have a parking spot
It was pretty close to everything. The employees and the lack of attention they pay to the customers. There was no toilet paper and they didnt stock it. and they didnt pay attention when we said we wanted no service at the moment and ended up getting woken up which i did not like what so ever.
The Days Inn Hollywood Walk is further from Hollywood Central than I expected however it is neat and tidy. The hotel is out of date, however clean. The hotel is old, however is well maintained. Nothing special though.
Good value for money. Free parking. Easy to find. Clean and comfortable. Almost 2 miles to Walk of fame. Tight space for breakfast. Breakfast could be richer.
Easy to find. ok location Extremely dirty carpets. Lots of road noise.
The architecture of this hotek is grear and beds are soft and big Breakfast is awful and some of the staff on reception
Good room and location, laundry, value for money Breakfast room very small, television not working on all available channels
Place was very cosy, people at reception were very friendly and helpful. There is supermarket, pharmacy, starbucks and quiznos sub just a few steps away from the hotel so it is very convenient to stock your own late night munches in the mini fridge. Free parking is an other up size of this hotel because finding a parking space can be challenging in la. Even though it is not high season yet, price was a bit higher than I expected
What I liked best during my stay at the Days Inn is the location of the hotel the bedroom was nice and clean and I just had overall a great experience staying there. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that there is no air conditioner in the rooms. It was not a problem because it's fall and its chilly outside but during the summer its necessary.
Excellent place to sleep and take a shower . It was all clean. Good positionedto see Holiwood.
The location was great for my trip. My room was on the ground floor on Sunset boulevard, with the windows of my room just feet from the sidewalk. I was kept up all night by folks walking Sunset at all hours of the night.
Great Location and good price
This hotel room is large. This hotel room is large but has no phone service. Hair dryer is not working. The stairway is filthy. Advertised including breakfast, but no breakfast available. Do not book online with this hotel unless you see it.
it is close to Holywood it is more like a doss-house
Everything was nice
Good location. The parking lot was little too small.
Nothing! This is the worst hotel I stayed in. I was biten by badbugs !!! Beware!!! If You want to have pain for next week try to stay there. Dirty doors with blood spots left after bedbugs killing
THE PLACE WAS IMMACULATE CLEAN.. VERY REASONABLE LARGE ROOM WITH FLAT SCREEN TV. NOTHING...
Basically the price, location and size of room were acceptable Up keep of building, lack of staff assistance and lack of security.
Great location. Clean. Very good service at front desk. Felt safe. No bed bugs!!!!!! Parking, but the staff took care of it so it wasn't ever a problem. They will park you if you are willing to leave your keys they will take care of it for you!
The price was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. Great location--close to downtown Hollywood. Parking is atrocious if the place is full. Not the best area of town, but not terrible.
Simple... The place is gross, the 2 kids running the place are assholes & the towels are the size of a hand towel. If you complain about anything they act like its your problem. Look for a better location & stay away from this place. Everything! Mainly the young punks that think the world owes them something. The maid lady was the best thing about this place.
Parking lot is very good Location of the hotel front desk good house keeping nice ILIKE that place I have no problem
room was made every day
Location Price Parking
The grounds and the rooms were very clean; reception staff was courteous; the room was quiet.
Free wifi in the room and free parking. Staff was friendly. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. The hotel is not in the best neighborhood, nothing too bad, but someone travelling alone would probably not be too comfortable walking around on their own after dark. The room smelled a little weird.
Even if the room looked clean, I got bed bugs bites after sleeping at Economy Inn Hollywood.
Price was decent. Close by Hollywood. Not enough parking.
Location close to universal studios No cofee in the morning and response from staff
Friendly staff (lent me housephone and called me a taxi), free WiFi, near to Hollywood, half mile to Gregory Peck star, car spaces always available, excellent flatscreen tv's, water provided daily, close to food supermarket Small car park, in a poor area with vagrants sleeping rough on footpaths although we never felt unsafe, maid missed towels on one day, reception area a bit basic, outside decor a bit tired and poorly lit in places
The hotel was very cheap, and it was pretty much close to everything and everywhere we needed to go. The staff was a bit rude.
We were close to buses, subway stations, food places, stores and everything was open late. Our hotel had the perefect location; and we had clean towls, clean room and new soap daily. We loved the flat screen T.V. as some hotels we stayed at before did not have a flat screen. Me and my boo arrived and upon checking in the attended had an issue, his age, 20 and not 21, so she called her manager or coworker. If i reserved the room online and that would have been an issue, that should be posted on web site or at sum point in the reservation stage; bizarre because other hotels we stayed at in the past never had that concern when we traveled; this was the only thing i did not like.
24 hour front desk service (we could arrive at 2.30am). Nice room (large bed, refrigiatior). Close to some sort of church that had a very noisy Sunday morning service (praising the Lord is okay, but why so loud?). During our stay, this drunken guy was walking around the corridor, asking for cigarets and stuff. Not very threatening, but still a little unpleasant.
