I liked the option for 3 beds in one room. The room was kinda funky. Soso with cleanliness. The bathroom looked like someone had a fight in there and broke the toilet and tp holder.
The location is a nice central location to several sights in the area. The price is inviting. Arrived at 3pm and despite the 4pm checkin time we were allowed to check in. Most discouraging thing was the bed was rock hard. I was simply using the hotel for sleeping and showering. We spent a lot of time out seeing sights. The shower was very short and had low water pressure. It took along time to get warm water. The shower curtain was bent and it would continually slide open while showering. We never ate at the breakfast. There was one type of cereal and donuts available.
Good parking place,convient location
Our room had 3 beds. Sinks were outside of bathroom, convenient. Microwave available downstairs. Modern furnishings. A/C was great. Free wifi. Pool. Breakfast. Room was gross. Moldy ceilings in bathroom, you can smell it. After walking on the carpet, our feet were black. There were stains on our sheets and there may have been bed bugs, my friend had bites. Only able to have one car per room. You have to pay for ice. A little too far from Hollywood blvd area. Really hard to see oncoming traffic when pulling out of the driveway.
I loved the price of the hotel room! My girlfriend and I split the room for a concert we were attending in la, and the location/price was perfect! Loved the parking situation, so convenient :) The room was not furnished (shampoo, towels, etc.) and seemed a wee bit on the dingy side. but other than that it was great!
only the location I will neither stay there again nor recomend this place to anyone
Nothing Everything was just horrible the rooms were dirty the blankets had holes the towels were dirty also so was the bathroom not enough soap or shampoo breakfast was nasty .. really bad experience for me and my family!!
easy to access public transportation, comfort stay
It was nice and peaceful!
The room was large and well set up for comfort. The desk staff was courteous and helpful. My room (106) was next to the microwave, so people were talking and beeping outside my door at all hours of the night. The door to the room was not hung well, so there were large gaps for critters to enter at their will and that kept the room chilly. The light over the sofa was nonfunctioning for our entire four-night stay, even when I asked for a new light bulb. The free breakfast, although appreciated, was a scant offering, and could have been extended until 10:00; at 8:30 there was never any milk left, so our only options were doughnuts and juice. People in the parking lot were obnoxious, honking for the other guests and playing music so loudly that the room actually vibrated.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was actually ok. Cable was good. Wifi Codes had to be printed to you every 24 hours. Got annoying. And then the wifi wouldn't load or do anything at peak times.
Th hotel was fine... nothing fancy for the quoted 89.00 a night but not for an extra 30.00 was not worth it we could have paid 10.00 more and staid at the embassy suits you had to pay for ice local calls were 10.00 to open phone line .50 a minute. there was not much hotel service or friendliness My son asked what time the pool closed he was told now he was disappointed well people were in there for another 45min to 1hr he could have been in and out and been happy but we didn't go
Like the near places, shopping and others Some of the stuff in the hotel is old, dirty chairs and has holes on it.
It's close to the wak of fame. The front office is smelly and staff sleep during the night so you have to ring a bell to wake them up. There is a gate in the parking that closes at night so you have to leave the car and wake staff up so they can open it. One of those times when I went to the front office a girl was there complianing about cockroaches in her room. The mattress was dusty and gave me allergy.
convenient location and price breakfast
Good value for money. This hotel is best for tourism not for business related stays. Unusable WIFI connection for business use. Connection was only usable for rooms near the lobby. I was not able to connect to my company email during the stay due to restricted bandwidth.
The size of the room and its comfort was far beyond what I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. Good value for money. Staff was not very helpful and could not provide much information.
Location, if you are driving you can go quickly everywhere. They offer wireless internet. Breakfast is poor but adequate with hotel category.
I liked when we finally checked out The horrible man at the 'front desk' sets the mood for the entire stay.
staff very rude, old room and not very clean.
The location, the little pool. The King room for 3 (a room with two queen beds should been proposed by booking), no coffee available the morning.
We chose this inn because it was right on Hollywood Blvd, where the Thai New Year event was being held, so the location was good. It was also quiet during the night. The inn was dirty: the sheets had holes and stains, the curtains had stains, and the chairs had stains. I couldn't connect to their wifi either.
Very friendly/professional staff. Quiet location. Room was clean. Great working AC unit. Free breakfast. 5 minutes from Hollywood Blvd. I always choose to stay here when I visit LA. Highly recommend! No iron/ironing board in room. Not enough parking spaces. That's about it.
Good location, with free parking.
The service are excellence. Mr Paco is the most helpful. Na
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location a block from hollywood blvd and the underground station. Very spacious room with nice floors, tv etc. Towels chlorine smell rathwr than fresh detergent
Location, next to Hollywood boulevard. Roses round the pool. Facility. The description of the hotel in booking was false. There are no facilities, that were mentioned in the description. There are no any plate, fork, pot or anything of the kind to cook, only plastic glasses, though there is a microwave oven.
I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. The room and the bathroom were outdated, but it wasn't a real problem, everything worked fine.
We are a family and really enjoyed our stay at the HCI. The staff was everytime helpful and friendly. The location is close to all attraction of Hollywood. What my wife liked most, was the arrangement of roses around the pool, a small oasis. we were totally satisfied and would come back to stay there.
in the first room we found little bugs in the beds after the 1st night. Could change room, 2nd one was okay but our confidence was gone. Old room was given to tourists the same day. When did they put some chemicals to kill the insects???
The excellent proximity to Hollywood tourist sites and very close to metro train station. Friendliness and help of staff.
large room, cozy beds, sofa also! internet connection was too bad
This motel offers a good ratio value / price. Very well located (not far from Hollywood main points of interest). Free parking for our car. Excellent croissants for breakfast.
Very helpful staff and great location. Quick access to Universal Studio, Hollywood walk of fame, Koda and Chinese theatre, and just 5 mi from LA downtown. Also, free parking is a bonus.
Basic but cheap
C leanliness, staff very courteous and helpfull. Breakfast started very late,, 730 , for an early riser. Also had problem with tiolet. Bar to handle rusted and broke off chain. We were told had to wait for a man to arrive to go see what needed to be done. After 2nd complaint, lady at front desk came and checked. She ended up finding another hole further up the bar to fix. Soda vending machine out of order.
nothing neighboorhood- i come out to my car at 3a random guy walking down the street sees me and follows me around the motel i had to ask the staff to escort him off premises. homeless people down the street. no soap and towels were thin and hard. FINALLY i am a frequent traveler so im familiar with payments and deposits especially with debit cards. At checkin there is a 100 DOLLAR deposit!! i can see 50 dollars but for this establishment isnt worth it as the night before i stayed at the HILTON with a 50$ deposit. i was fine with the amount of deposit but something told me to check my bank account online after my stay which i rarely do. most hotels just hold the deposit...ABVI actually took the money off my card i called the motel and they claim the money will be refunded within 5-7 business days. Wait..WHAT?! the woman on the phone stated ABVI is independently own and every establishment is different. i responded..thank you for informing me as i will NEVER stay here again!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Cleanliness refrigerator parking
We were looking for a cheaper hotel room because we were only staying one night and wouldn't be in the hotel much. America's best value was the most affordable in the area, and although the surroundings weren't ideal, the hotel was clean, smelled good, and the bed was comfortable. The room cooled off quickly with the AC, and I got to catch up on one of my shows with the cable on-demand. All in all, no complaints. It was not in the area we wanted to spend most of our time in, but it was just a quick drive (only a few miles, as quick as it gets in LA) to all the attractions/hot spots. We would have liked a later check out, but were told they could only extend us by 30 minutes without charge due to bookings. And like I said the street and immediate surroundings didn't appear to be very inviting, but it was good enough for us for a one night stay.
The staff. Needed some help and staff went all out to provide. That's the best I liked about this Hotel. A bit away from the main activity street.
For a quiet, low-budget place to stay, the room was fine (size and cleanliness) and the staff tried their best when sollicited. The parking was open spaced and on first-come, first served basis. We had rented a car and were a bit worried about leaving it at the back of the hotel in a small street (the "rest" of the parking...) Oh and the breakfast? hahahaha.....
Breakfast should not be called "breakfast". It consisted only of sweet cake, cold coffee with whitener, tea and a not working orange and apple juice dispenser.
Good location, 15 min drive to Downtown, Hollywood, Venice Beach, Universal Studios, Beverly Hills and most other tourist attractions. Clean and well equipped (microwave, fridge, hair dryer, free wifi) The neighbourhood looks pretty bad especially at night
I would say the staff was extremely helpfull and make you feel happy they are always say yes, The location is poor if you dont have a car
It was clean close to Hollywood and other attractions good price for being that close to places Not very many parking spots once it's full you have to find one on the street. The room was a bit small felt stuffy.
Appeared clean. There was no running water in the morning so couldn't take a shower, brush teeth, or flush the toilet. I put my parents up for the night and they are in their seventies. When I asked for some compensation or at least bottled water for my parents they could't help. Very upset that my parents had to endure such conditions.
Clean sheets. Coffee and continental breakfast. Room did not have any bad smell. Pick up to airport in morning every half hour. Hot water was hot. Close to airport. Airport van at pickup from airport took 1 hour 15 minutes. The door chain was broken in the room. Overall maintenance was poor.
Comfortable for an overnight stay between flights.
Location Hard to find room ,stuck back in the construction area only 2 rooms stuck back in a alley way. Doors of both rooms wide open and the lights didn't work, the floor was covered in water, this was fixed but took time. I've stayed here alot but never had a room like this. I had a reservation too. I don't think they use this room for guests regularly.
tea/coffee station available 24 hrs, comfortable room airplane landing noise, but it's no one to blame, nothing around in walking distance (shops, restaurants, entertainment)
It was very convenient because it was close to the airport. However, if you're new in town and visiting the city, I would pick somewhere closer to where the action is. Like near Santa Monica. It was pretty clean, and the staff was very polite. They let us keep our bags in the office until check in, and let us keep them there after check out until our flight. We didn't use the pool, but it looked decent. We had a great newly renovated room as well, so it was nice. The rooms were a bit damp. Possibly some humidity or mildew issues. We had to keep the fan constantly going. The continental breakfast was very cheap. Not much to choose from. Just some cereal and yogurt. Lots of flies all around the premise. A few in the room, but mostly outside the door and where the breakfast was located. Hair dryer was broken
convenient location near lax. Shopping centre 500 metre walk away. Good bus service to lax.
It was close ti the airport ..we had a short layover The room was shabby and smelled of smoke
it was nice hotel 50 years ago, but now. noise air conditioner.
Owner has done a really good job of cleaning up and modernizing an old hotel/motel Drain in shower didn't quite keep up. Not a big desl
Very comfortable bedding!
Overall good facilities for price Loud airline noise Room could have been cleaner
clean, close to airport, friendly people, good internet no proximity to restaurants except BK
room is spacious, own microwave and refrigerator, internet access (you do need a cable for that, you can get it at the reception). Staff was friendly. Close to a little supermarket. Breakfast was ok. there weren't a lot of facilities except for internet, but you needed a cable for that. They don't respond to emails, it's not in the middle of the city, you have to take the bus to get to downtown LA.
TV channel selection Room was drafty and very cold. Chewing gum wasnt removed from several places, but rest of it was very clean. Breakfast was very poor, some toast bread and 2 selections of marmelade.
The price per night was very affordable and the location was close to most Southern California attractions. It turned out to be a great home base for day trips.
For a motel near LA it was cheap. Other motels are more expensive. This motel was the worst we've been to during our trip in California. Most of the staff was not nice. The location was bad.
The staff, from reception until departure, was very friendly and eager to help. We had the feelling we were in more of a bed and breakfast than a motel room. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we would stay there again. The breakfasts were marginal. Selections were limited (no oatmeal) and were stopped a tad too soon (exacerbated by the lobby clock being fast). Their internet service was not quite as billed; a per-minute charge was chargeable.
The motel was close to our spot of interested in Alhambra, nothing more, nothing less. Everything was as expected. Nothing to complain about.
The room was spacious and there was free parking.
Reasonable prices for quality stay
Very close to Dodger stadium. Easy walk to the game and a neighborhood bar.
I liked the location of the Super 8. We went to a Dodger game. No.
front desk was helpful. room was clean.
nearby chinatown, It's easy to find chinese food. It's very near street and nosey.
Happy with value, location, cleanliness and comfort. Also with inclusions such as fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ice machine etc. Breakfast was OK. The desk staff could have made a better effort at friendliness and helpfulness. The neighbourhood seemed a bit low class left us feeling a bit uncomfortable.
close to the area we needed to be in
The price is quite reasonable for the condition of the room. The room was strongly scented, which gave me a bad headache every time I got back.
Location is very very nice and convenient. Ease of access as well from streets without traffic. The room was nicer than I expected with decor; a nice surprise. Nothing.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Nice people. The hotel room is ok. The breakfast is excellent Wi if in room is poor real bad
Clean Rooms, comfortable Bed, Lots of available parking. Handicap parking available. Employees were some what rude. Asked for extra towels and you would have thought I was asking for gold. I had to call 2x. No Fruit on breakfast counter. Just waffels, rolls, ceral & drinks. Need Handicap room,None Available.
The room is nice, bathroom some a bit small and tired. The breakfast was a joke. Only fatty, sugary junk food in styro foam/plastic dishes, no space for seating, bad coffee. This hotel 8s bot worth the price.
Clean and surprisingly modern decor in the rooms. Nice size refrigerator and Microwave included. A hand towel bar next to the sink and an extra hook on the outside of the bathroom for would be great. Wish there was a Jacuzzi.
This hotel was absolutely amazing. Our room had mini fridge, microwave, safe, armoire, wooden floors, air condition, absolutely amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Will be back soon.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Everything in the room looked new and clean. It looked as though it had just been redecorated. I was so happy to find wood style floors instead of old carpet. The bed was extremely comfortable. All of the appliances worked! The staff was very friendly. Would have enjoyed a better quality towel.
Great location, clean and spacious room, family-owned, ample parking, friendly staff. Exterior corridors
convenience and great service and facility nothing
The room was much larger than I expected. Everything in it was in excellent condition and very clean. It was quiet. The heater worked well. The hot water supply was good.
It was a very fine hotel for a few days of travel. The first room we were given had fresh stains on the mattress. When we called down, we were accused of "touching stuff." But were then given a nicer room, despite the absence of an apology.
Rooms and facilities were clean and well-kept. The pool at the center of the hotel looked inviting. Front desk staff was incredibly unfriendly (but that's just one person). The location of the room on a very busy and loud street was unfortunate - no sleep without earplugs, and you had to crank up the volume on the TV all the way just to hear over the street noise. I assume the rooms on the other side of the building are not as loud.
Staff was very friendly. Location is good.
Very helpful reception staff. Extremely reasonable for the centre of LA. Not in the best part of Sunset Boulevard, although it's fairly close (20 minutes walk) to the main tourist attractions. Breakfast is served in the lobby with nowhere to sit.
I liked location and generally it is cute hotel to stay. I would like the toilet and bath facilities to be cleaner. Some hair were found there when we arrived. Not so nice. Breakfast was good. But may be some variations in meal would be great.
Room was comfortable and clean, people were nice and helpful. Location was good if someone wants to to see Hollywood. The bathroom was rather tiny and the AC noisy
room was clean, basic, staff was OK but not informative. street noise at all hours of the day
The Sahara is in an excellent location, offered many amenities and represented great value for money.
Very central to get to places of interest ie Hollywood Boulevard A bit of traffic noise as the hotel is on a busy road
The location was convenient to where I needed to go for the time I was there. There was nothing in the room to tell me about wifi, and I just never bothered to ask at the desk. Parking is very tight, but free. The motel is in a bad part of town. Several cars of homeless people camping out on the side street below my window. Lots of street noise and in the morning a s-load of trash strew about on the sidewalk. I just kept my shutters closed so I did not have to see. Rooms need new furniture, light fixtures and paint. Really looks run down. Pool area surrounded by bright orange fencing makes it appear to be a construction zone. Worth less than $100 a night for sure.
Great location, the staff has been real friendly and helpful and the rooms are good.
Our room was given to someone else but at least we still got a room with a King size bed for the same price. neighborhood around the hotel was dilapidated
Very poor breakfast.
it is located in hollywood region of LA and within walking distance to hollywood attractions but LA is a big city and you need a car to visit the other areas . the hotel has a nice small open air common area where you can have breakfast and watch the small pool. breakfast is poor and there is only one table to eat on so be prepared to take your cereals to your room!
Near to the Hollywood center and Metro Station
The location was nice and it was the only reason why we even considered this restaurant. Misleading website! If we knew what we know now about this place we wouldn't have made reservation even if it's at the best location. There is nothing to like about the stay.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast and the coolest sign in Hollywood!!
One of the best things is that this hotel is very close to the metro. The room was very good also. no.
The full breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions. You can also catch the metro right across the street. Could hear sirens several times through the night. Not the best area of town but we felt safe.
The complimentary breakfast was very good & the reception are helpful.
The price and location are great! Free parking was offered and there is good Wi-Fi Connection in the rooms for free. The breakfast has really improved from my last stay. Ground floor rooms are quite not sound proof, and noises from the outside could be somewhat disturbing.
It was very cheap and the pictures were honest, the maid cleaned daily and replenished toiletries, the staff were pleasant and helpful and let us into our room as soon as it was ready, room has fridge which was very useful, king room is big with table and chairs, good transport links and lots of shops and fast food restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Good hotel for budget travellers. Noisy residents in numerous rooms late at night and early in the morning, traffic noise and sirens heard from room, the surrounding area has lots of homeless people, bathroom towels are very small, no pool, breakfast or room safety box available-but we knew this when booking
good price, kind staff. air conditioner, bed.
I like the proximity to down town Los Angeles and the convenience of taking the Metro bus. It is close to restaurants.
Well-lit parking lot. Blankets had cigarette burn holes (non-smoking room) Curtain had cigarette burn holes (non-smoking room) Doors and walls were dirty. Carpet was frayed in large areas.
Good location. About 20 min work or 5 stops bus ride to the convention center. Subway, McDonalds, El Pollo Lico, a small market, a coin laundary are near-by. Two Mexican and Two Korean restaurants are also nearby. Easy to find it. I got about fifteen bug bites. It may be flea, bed-bug, or roach. I cannot find what the exact bug is. Anyway, I cannot recommend this hotel. Ah, anothe thing. there is no coffee machine or pot or microwave in the room. You have no tools at all to make warm water.
The free parking was probably the most useful thing for us as we were travelling with a car.
Giant spider in room. I am scared of spiders...but didnt hold it against this place, rest was clean. I just hate spiders! So clean is good, spider sounds bad...but good...was clean. Pay for ice...I paid over 100$ for a night, and no free ice...which is cold water...I guess I'm spoiled from living in vegas where hotels/casinos give a lot while you stay there. Seemed expensive. TV was fuzzy for 100$.
i don't like it no hot water, no water heater, no drink water...
Nice location. Free parking. Asked for iron and ironing board. Staff member made me carry them up to my room. My hands were already full. He didn't even offer to bring them to my room. Not very helpful. Also, oldest TV I've seen in a hotel in a long time. Oh yeah, the blanket was real scratchy as well.
For one night after going to a furneral, it offered a good price and was close to the event. Would have like coffee in room though. No coffee in room or in lobby and none nearby. Also, no clock in room.
the staff were really friendly and very helpful on all aspects of our stay
Location felt safe for traveling public transportation at night. As a matter of fact-public transport very good. Bathroom good condition although towels pretty old. Air conditioner very noisy-kept me awake. Carpet was badly stained, bedspreads badly worn. Beds older too-no bedbug covers as I would expect. They need to wash the outdoors fixtures as the dirt is everywhere. And, no coffee for the rooms is the finishing touch. Never turned on the TV.
STAY AWAY. Our room was burglarized NYE night. Doors were consistently checked to ensure they were locked, When we returned our Laptops, wallets, clothing, cash, iPhones, chargers, etc were stolen!!! $8000.00 worth of merchandise was taken from the room. STAFF has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, we have not been able to speak to anyone who will assist us in the issue, police had to be involved, our room has not been refunded. Staff is RUDE, hangs up on you when you try to call and get contact information. THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST. WE ARE DISGUSTED!!!!!! We have reached out to contact the owner & he has not helped it is a 4day weekend, but when something like this happens at your establishment and a FELONY investigation is taking place, legally there needs to be some sort of contact. We lost some irreplaceable items and a ton of $$$. I wish the owner would return our Voicemails and numerous attempts at contact to help his distraught guests. PLEASE CALL US OWNER NOAH N.
Hotel is dirty, carpet has stains, everything is old and broken.
close to my venue the room and elevator smelled bad. The AC did not work, blew out warm air most of the night and made a lot of noise. Room was very hot.
Nothing everything was horrible Everything was horrible TV was not working called twice the guy was very lazy thus room was hell
They kept it clean, even though some room constructuon going on at time. Did not need for anything. It was just as advertised.
The location was good and the beds too The hotel was old,the staff no good,no breakfast only vending machine
Location There were obvious big blood marks on the certain, quite a shock but they didn't care much except little discount. Wanted to talk manager, not reachable.
Hotel staff is always willing to help
it was a nice hotel, but nothing special to do in the area Bugproblem while sleeping, scratching al the time
Very nice budget hotel. Centrally located in Los Angeles. Near the airport and down town. Very nice, neat and clean rooms. Staff was very helpful. This is an excellent choice for people travelling on budget.
Great amenities at a cheap cost. Microwave, mini-fridge, complimentary wi-fi, cable TV. Clean, nice looking, comfortable bed, desk, couch, nice bathroom. Very satisfied. It would be better if we have good washing machines installed.
Airport is near by and was the main reason to book a room there. Hotel should be renovated.
staff was nice gave us clean sheets and pillowcases to change ourselves hair on sheets and pillow cases, no water pressure, WiFi didn't work, hot and muggy in room, overall dirty
looked like it was ran by a nice Indian family. apparentely it's not in a very good area, a local policeman told me that he works there every day, that mostly it's drug related and that if you are not into drugs you shouldn't run into problems... inspiring eh?
The location is beneficial. I would have liked the room to be clean.
The room looked dirty, the Wifi in the room didn't work, staff didn't always understand us very well and didn't make us feel welcome.
Location, Price, and Kind Service. 1) I booked 2 queens and they didn't have anymore left so I was left with 1 King 2) The TV and Refrigerator AC socket was un-usable. 3) The windows were dirty and unkept 4) The bathroom looked disgusting.
Good location Just 2 words bed bugs!!!!!! Im all bitten
Good locaion. poorly painted / maintained. Says breakfast included but saw nothing. would recommend for location.
Nothing The wall is dirty with non-professional paint, the facility is terriblly old and ugly, the bathroom is dirty and haven't been updated for centuries, sheet might not be washed or changed with some obvious stains....
i liked the recepcionist and tv restroom and bed was ok
it was close to the venue that i was trying to visit and i could park right next to my room the staff was very unfriendly at checkout
much cheaper than the other alternatives, location in the city center good, owner was helpful with directing towards local sites of interest, parking within the walls allowed me to feel my car was safe looked a little run-down, pool looked undesireable to swim in
only the location is good. the rooms and even the lobby smells. it looks like this hotel has never been renovated/refurbished since the 70's , i cant believe they still use those kinds of toilet bowls and sinks, its like in motels in old movies where people get robbed.
John at front desk was very nice and helpful.Showed me to my room and where to park behind the hotel, very friendly and kind. Room was roomy with nice wood furniture, chest of drawers, table 2 chairs. TV, microwave and fridge all worked fine. Amazingly quiet for a room facing Beverly Blvd. Will stay there again because of the rates. Neighborhood is amazing. Cafes and restaurants within 1/2 block. Health food store 1 block away and The Grove 2 blocks. Park literally across the street for walk and joggers. Trader Joe's 3 blocks and since they don't have breakfast, it's nice to be able to have the fridge and microwave. Ice machine and soft drink machine in courtyard with one table and four chairs. No odors especially not of cleaning fluids. Wifi is free. Always have coffee. Bedding pretty old - I took a look at the pillows and they looked way to old and worn. Bathroom shower curtain needs replacing and bathroom in general needs upgrading - stains on counter, floor next to wall not well cleaned - needs a good redo. Towels dingy like they don't always use bleach. I've seen worse and
it was overall a good hotel near the shopping mall the grove . the rooms were very large but not too clean.but for the money you pay is a good hotel cleaness , and you can here through the walls sometimes
The motel was a good value, in a convenient and fun location. There was some black mold around the bathroom window. The bedding was old and scratchy as were the towels. There seemed to be a towel shortage. In the middle if the day the towels are washed, so if you want to shower at that time you are out of luck. There were no cups provided in the rooms. The parking spaces were insanely tight. The soda machine was out of order. And the ice machine required quarters to operate.
the large room, the kind staff, good location perhaps it could be just slightly cleaner -- particularly the bathroom
The rooms are not that bad and the location decent.. But there are not parking spots for everyone. The ownership told us to park at a meter and then our car got towed overnight due to the lack of parking spots with the hotel. Ended up being a charity event the next morning and the city impounded all vehicles at meters. A tow fee in the city of LA is about $450 and made this hotel very expensive The rooms are not that bad and the location decent.. But there are not parking spots for everyone. It was great until I got towed and the bill was $450 to get my car out from the city of LA due to the lack of parking from this hotel and the hotel telling us to use the meter, next day was an AIDS walk and everyone got towed. Because of this I would not recommend this hotel
Staff was very helpful, The room was soo disgusting and I didnt een want to use the restroom n didnt rake a shower...dna stains everywhere n dirty! Ripped couch, all the furniture looked like it was from the dumpster...
price great, location near my meeting, parking closeby, Whole Foods store within 2 blocks, very courteous staff Street Noise late at night,
The room was decent size The air conditioner barely worked it was upper 90's outside and never cooled off lower than 80 inside. The pool and a lot of dead bugs and scum on the top. The wall was literally patched with a band aid.
the whole family could stay in one room chipping paint, rip in the window screen in the bathroom, dirty ceilings
the large room, large bed, nice people. The smell in the room was awful and the view out of the rear window was like a wall and pipes and trash cans .... which explains the smell
