Cons: Kitchen was being renovated. Breakfast provided was weak an$ lacked variety. Too much pastries.

Pros: Next to St. Johns Med Ctr for a procedure. It was convenient for us and the place was nice. Great little hotel and good breakfast.

Cons: Our room wasn't ready at 5pm... check in is at 3, we arrived at 5 and had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready. Complimentary breakfast was nothing special, dry pastries and coffee.

Cons: The front desk person was so clueless and often just confused with simple questions (Kitchen was closed so asked if anything nearby and had not a clue). A/C was very loud in the rooms. Woke me up many times throughout the night.

Pros: This hotel is in a quiet area. The included breakfast is good. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. This was our second stay there.

Cons: Valet attendant was very obviously tip-motivated. When we arrived he was pressuring us to keep the car in the valet area by scaremongering us: ‘this is a dangerous area with loads of homeless people. I wouldn’t leave my car on the street if I were you’. Since we arrived late at night and couldn’t see the street very well, we foolishly agreed to leave the car at the valet which was $25 + tip. The next morning we realised the area looked safe and we would’ve been happy to leave the car parked on the street for much cheaper.

Cons: The front desk staff, rude. I called HouseKeeping twice for extra clean towels.. no answer. Called front desk & the lady said she would handle it. 40 mins later I called HouseKeeping again.. no answer. Called front desk again about an update on my towels since I was waiting on them to shower, & she told me to have patience because they were busy at the desk. Well excuse me for paying you to stay here & I have to accommodate YOU & not the other way around!!!

Pros: Booked this hotel last minute & was very happy with our stay. We were trying to find something closer to Santa Monica Pier for less $$ & family friendly but this worked out perfectly. The bus stop was on the corner so this made getting to the pier easy!

Pros: Good location close to Venice and Santa Monica. Easy to get anywhere in LA from here. Rooms are clean and nice.

Cons: Stingy with the towels. You must give them the dirty towels before they give you the new ones. You only get the same sizes you gave back. It was pulling teeth to get 3 large towels for 2 people.

Cons: The weird way they deal with noise. There were white noise machines playing in the room that we couldn't turn off, so they clearly know they have a problem. Yet they also vacuum outside the room at 3am. It makes no sense.

Pros: It's location was close to the beach and away from traffic. The cleaning lady was nice. And they gave us extra towels when we needed it.

Cons: When we first walked in, the carpet was dirty. It doesn't even look like it was vacuumed. The chairs were old and worn out. The internet was extremely slow. The closet was dusty. It made me feel like this hotel has not made an upgrade since 1990's.

Pros: Great boutique hotel. Champagne upon checking in. Complimentary bikes to take down to the pier to ride, great pool. Fitness center was amazing, penaton bikes and much more.

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, plenty of room, comfortable bed. The breakfast was a great surprise. Breakfast area was clean, a large variety of items. The hot items were fresh and hot. It could not have been any better. Valet service was friendly and fast.

Cons: The only issues we had was the phone in the room was not working when I went to leave a wake up call, the alarm clock was not working properly either and I didn't want to walk up front so I just used my cel phone to wake me up. I reported it at check out. We had to drive a few blocks for dinner, not sure of the area so did not feel safe walking after dark.

Pros: Usually the breakfast is excellent here however do not covid-19 restrictions they offered a bag in the morning with a bottle of water and apple a granola bar in an option to get a cup of coffee. I thought they could do a lot better than this considering the most of the time they offer bagels pancakes yogurts etc etc if they have to do a grab-and-go breakfast they could have offered in the grab-and-go bag things like I just explain to you that they normally offer it just a minute ago style the bag was minimal and definitely not up to par.

Cons: Overall the cleanliness of the place is excellent when I first arrived the first room that I put me and smelled like cigarettes I called the front desk the immediately switch me rooms to actually a larger room and it was just like I remembered it to be when I had stayed there before it completely clean large kitchen bathroom with awesome bath & body works products for shampoo and conditioner and body lotion which I absolutely love so that was great cleanliness is excellent here within.

Pros: Reasonable price for a night in Santa Monica. Easy to access the pier and 3rd street promenade by the Big Blue Bus for $1.25. Directly next to Trader Joe’s and a few blocks from Sbux.

Cons: Location is a bit far from tourist attractions and is likely better for people with a car. Hotel layout is 3 separate buildings, not really an issue but have to walk down to go to the continental breakfast or to grab coffee/check-out.

Pros: Nice rooms clean and with comfortable beds. We had a rental car and the organisation of parking was great free and with easy acsess. The rooms had a refridgerator and there was a store next door were you could shop for food.Internet access.

Pros: Although quite small the room was surprisingly pleasant and more updated than outside. For a quick stay just to sleep it was ok for the price and location. The bed was comfortable. The room keycard is required to use the elevator so that is good.

Cons: The exterior and the office looked a little seedy. It all needs to be updated. The person at the desk was not very cordial and welcoming. It is a place for a quick stay, but not one to linger at. The lighting outside was dim and not inviting.

KEYS - we requested additional keys for our rooms and when we did, our previous keys were deactivated, yet no one mentioned that would happen. Both rooms experienced this, yet I was also not offered more than 2 keys per room on check-in.

Pros: Rooms were nice and spacious, beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing! Great location and close to Marina Del Rey. 2 smoking areas outside with tables and butt receptacles. Hot tub was nice as well.

Cons: No microwaves in the room, but did have refrigerators. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles. No meat for breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was nice like any big chain. We decided for this hotel for our last night because is not only close to the airport, but also a short drive from Venice Beach (South Side). This is a safe option on a budget.

Cons: We arrived late at night and there was no parking space for our car. Roads around the hotel seams ok to leave you car, but most of them has parking restrictions. Luckily it was a weekend.

Pros: Great place to crash if you’re looking for something of value in LA. Not the best location and first floor room got a little loud outside but good for an LA vacation where you won’t be in the room.

We actually extended our trip an extra day because of the price,value and accommodations provided. The jacuzzi was open and well maintained and they had free laundry services so we could wash our clothes which was a bonus and a reason why we stayed an extra night

Cons: Horrible experience. Terrible mattress, freezing cold room, no heat, noisy, thin walls, no security, no locks on shower doors. A female can easily be sexually assaulted in this dump. It is unsuitable safety-wise. Put locks on the shower door!!

Cons: Its nobody's fault the hotel closes tomorrow probably temporarily until COVID-19 improves until this situation improves with time.

Pros: The staff were very helpful. My travel plans changed in light of coronavirus after I had checked out and they allowed me to use their phone and wifi to change my arrangements, and in the end I had to stay an extra night.

Cons: The shared bathroom is not ideal, especially in the middle of the night, but I knew that going in. The lights are automatic and often turn off when you are showering and one of the stalls does not lock. This is for the men's room. There is not a whole lot nearby. A coffee shop and a couple of places to eat. There's a Trader Joe's and McDonalds about 10-15 minutes walk, but things like Wholefoods or CVS are more like 20-30. Metro station is a 20 minute walk too.

Cons: The sink counter is in the same room as the shower and toilet. This makes it difficult for the 3 of us to get ready (1 male and 2 females). The sink and counter should be on the outside of the bathroom.

Upholstered chair was stained and leather ottoman was dirty. Sometimes simple unadorned rooms and simple motels like this can be fine, when they are clean and don't smell awful. My impression is these people just aren't trying.
