Las Vegas hotels in The Strip

Pros: Beautiful, romantic Italian setting hotel. Room was huge and very comfortable. 3 TVs. View was good and could see the strip. A lot of restaurants, but they were very expensive. Although there was a food court that was reasonably priced. I did like the fact that the Palazzo and the Venetian were attached and you could use the casino vouchers in either casino

Cons: Would have liked coffee in the room. Most hotels now a days have a small coffee pot in the room.

Pros: My wife enjoyed the pool and suite while I was in meetings, dinner at Buddy V's, excellent Italian food and the service was fantastic. We also had dinner at the French Steak House on the patio over looking the strip, excellent food and service.

Cons: Nothing

Cons: the fridge was taken up completely by merchandise the hotel was selling. No room for things like insulin unless you wanted to pay extra for an additional fridge! Ridiculous!

Pros: Decorations were wonderful and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed eating at restaurant. Breakfast was really good! The entire place was very clean.

Cons: Can't think of anything.

Pros: Clean and nice hotel in a good location. There's nice restaurants inside.

Cons: The pool is crazy. We went down one day at 11:30am and there was not a free seat anywhere. Absolutely packed. Went down the next day a bit later so we expected there to be no seats available but there were towels laying all over seats and on the plants. It was very messy and disorganized. Here's a tip, instead of the staff standing around chatting where you collect the towels why doesn't one of them walk around and check for free seats and clean up the towels so guests don't have to ask every single person if the seat next to them is taken. Be careful of the surface near the pool when it's wet, if you are barefoot it can be very dangerous and slippery. I saw many people slipping over. 2 basic cocktails plus tax = $40. Ugh.

Pros: Rooms were nice.

Cons: Room service is a scam. Our continental breakfast was literally 4 pieces of toast and a pot of coffee for $35 which included a $7 service charge on top of 18% gratuity. If you don't believe it, order it and see for yourself. Other than rooms everything else is overpriced.

Pros: View room description is misleading. Only view was of empty pool. View limited view of strip. Save the $40 per night for upgrade. There at of the hotel was awesome. Will come back with standard room.

Pros: Amentities, they had a great casino, you literally would never have to leave this hotel if you did not want too. They have some of the greatest restaurants and shops in all of Las Vegas absolutely our new favorite and probably the only hotel we will stay in from now on in Las Vegas.

Cons:

Pros: Gorgeous common areas, comfortable interiors, and (importantly and uniquely for Vegas) a well-designed layout that makes accessing guest rooms easy. This is truly a huge resort complex, yet you can still get in and out of it from your room with ease. It was also easy to find adequate (albeit pricey) dining with minimal wait. There is nothing worse than having to wait forever to be seated at a restaurant in your own hotel, and this was never an issue in The Venetian. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would come back for sure.

Cons: The rooms, while beautiful, are in need of modern amenities like charging ports, easy-to-access power outlets, better lighting controls, and larger TVs, just to name a few things. We stayed in a 1300 sq ft suite, and the living area was 40" or so. I realize this may sound trivial, but it's 2017 and this is a 5 star resort. Another issue we had was the relative lack of reasonable dining options. There are over 40 restaurants inside the property, but (aside from food court-type options) only a couple are reasonably-priced.

Cons: Parking lot so far away from rooms

Pros: Big and beautiful hotel & suites.

Cons: I did not like the fact that there is no space to put things in the fridge. Is stocked with their stuff and will charge you if you move it.

Pros: Pretty hotel.

Cons: They started to charge for parking!!! (This was not notify earlier in the booking) They give us room keys that don't work. ( happens more than one time) The walls don't cancel noise. I could still hear other people talking and in the middle of night. Placed unauthorized charge on the room for no good reason. Had to call to Ask the staff to make it correct, took very long time. Bad attitude also at one point they hung up on us. Iineffective staff that's was rude made the stay even more frustrating. Buffet quality of food, taste and atmosphere had lower dramatically!!!!!

Pros: Comfortable bed and spacious room. I appreciated the fitness center and the various weights and cardio machines. However, it was located quite a distance from the rooms. You had to walk the entire casino floor, past the lobby to get there.

Cons: You're really paying for the location on The Strip. The room was nice but what comes out to be over $322/night including all taxes, etc the room and accommodations themselves weren't worth it.

Pros: I loved the décor, most of the staff, and conservatory. The show (O) was great too!

Cons: We had a couple of issues with staff, the main on being the guy who "checked" the keys before entering the elevators was rude and not at all consistent with who he checked (both in our favor and against). When my husband asked him about it he was combative and obnoxious.

Pros: Clean, Very accommodating, courteous staff and comfortable amenities we were very pleased and would highly recommend

Cons: resort fee and parking fee. Room which was upgraded smelled like vomit.

Pros: Location is excellent and the hotel has a lot of nice amenities. The fitness center is well equipped. The conservatory was beautiful, as always.

Cons: Check-in on Thanksgiving Day was packed, and we waited about 30 minutes in line. It seems like there could be a better system. Parking garage was incredibly crowded and, in fact, we had to park at another hotel one night because it was full. The air handling system is not as good as other hotels. It was incredibly smokey, even inside the buffet where smoking is not allowed but apparently diffuses into the dining area from the casino. And we had to trek through the casino to get to and from the elevator to our room, so we could not avoid the smokey air. They should look into removing the chlorine taste from the tap water, perhaps a reverse osmosis system or charcoal filter, at least for the water served in the restaurants. The bathroom had loose pieces of silicone caulking all over the floor. Of course, everything was quite expensive, from the mini-bar items to the hotel cafes/coffee shops to the water sold in the hotel shops ($5.25 for 1 liter) to the parking ($10/day).

Pros: Hotel property is impressive

Cons: They dont provide any complementary breakfast or for that matter a cup of coffee

Pros: The hotel is beautiful and in a good location.

Cons: For the money you are paying you don't get much value. Also, I expect that when I am paying this sort of price per night that when I walk the hallways to get to my room I don't have to see everyone's room service tables and left over food. I also didn't like the fact that they want to charge you 35 USD/night to rent a refrigerator. Some things should be included in the price.

Cons: The resort fees they charge are rediculous, I have no idea what these are for

Pros: Your cleaning staff is unsurpassed. I hope they are compensated as they are the behind the scenes success to the beauty of the resort..

Cons: When I went to check out there where all sorts of extra fees. I made no room charges. I called the front desk and they removed them, I asked for an emailed copy and they sent two. One for the resort fee's which is so silly if you pay for a resort yet can't use the refrigerator, the other email was over 650.00! I went to the desk and they said it was an error? A lot of unnecessary anxiety for an error!

Pros: Elegant simplicity. The rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel itself was also very affordable when I compared it with others and it was close enough to the strip, this was the determining factor to go with this hotel. It's also next to the Fashion Mall, which is nice if you live to shop.

Cons: I love working out so a bigger Gym and and Spa would be a nice bonus.

Pros: I like everything about this hotel... hassle free parking with their valet. Courteous staff, big sized room, huge bathtub which can fit 3 people in... and this was just their ordinary room.

Cons: It's too comfy we don't want to leave the hotel room :)

Pros: Room smelled like a nice man cologne. Clean. The spa area smelled great. No depressing casino in the lobby. Next to the mall. Nice view. Has shuttle and valet only. Huge Walk in shower and large jet tub. Huuuge Trump toiletries.

Cons: Jet tub would not stay on due to being glitchy

Cons: Because we are big fans and want you to do well, we noticed the carpet in common areas is ready to be replaced. It was more of a walk to the Strip than we anticipated , and not convenient when mall was closed.

Pros: Spacious room - great rate. Courteous and helpful staff. Although others may feel differently, I liked the fact that there was no casino in the hotel.

Cons: Charge for using business center. Bathroom maintenance req'd. Costly breakfast.

Pros: Staff was welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere off the strip. Room clean and spacious. The bed was over the top luxurious and linens sweet. Enjoyed Happy hour and breakfast very much.

Cons: I was pleasantly surprised to have such a good experience. No complaints.

Pros: We upgraded to a corner suite overlooking the strip. It was a wonderful room. Security was great. A staff member checks your room card before allowing access to the elevators. Also, since there is no casino onsite, there is no lingering smell of stale cigarettes as exists at the other Vegas hotels.

Pros: Only part of the entire stay that was positive was the Operations Manager finally coming through after having complained 4 times about my room and it still not being resolved.

Cons: Housekeeping was an absolute joke. Leads me to believe that there is no communication between front desk and housekeeping. First night I check in, got a room with two queens. Almost jumped in to be to notice a big urine stain on the sheets. Thank God the second bed was clean so I slept in it. Oh did I mention the clump of long black hair on the ice bucket. Reported the issue the following morning and the girl removed the resort fees for two nights only to come back that evening to find the issue still glaring at me in the face. Reported the issue the following morning to the same girl I talked to the prior morning and this time all she offered was to remove one more nights resort fees (apparently as issues escalate the process to resolve the issue is to make the customer less happy). Much to my surprise I found the issue yet unresolved that evening when I returned to my hotel room. At this point I was thoroughly disgusted, what else wasn't cleaned in my room prior to me checking in and during my stay I wonder. Having found the issue unresolved I marched down to the desk to talk to someone that would give me more than a "We have done the most we can do" speech. I asked for a manager who too while apologetic had his hands bound with what he could do. When I asked him to go up to my room and see the issue for himself he informed me he had no idea that issue was unresolved for three days now. Eventually he pulled some strings and got me a ticket to a show and $50.00 credit for dinner. I work in the service industry and know that what most customers want is for the issue to be corrected and to some extent to be taken care of. After my first day that's all I wanted, I didn't ask for any money (company trip, company expense) so how hard is it to acknowledge a breakdown somewhere in the system, apologize and take care of the issue.

Cons: casino starting to look run down. food/resturant pricing seems high.

Pros: The Pantry Restaurant had very good food and excellent coffee.

Cons: The air conditioning in the hallways. If you have a room at the end of the hallway, you just about freeze before you get to your room.

Pros: At checkout, they did remove the resort fees from bill. Spa was excellent, both shows were great, Portofino restaurant was excellent

Cons: Room A/c was 7 degrees below what was set, after A/C guy came to room with directions, such as make sure handle was up on door....keep washcloth on top of thermostat?...and turn on fan when you leave room...nothing changed. Fire alarm went off at 4am with loud recordings for the next 20 minutes, water on sinks in bathroom was messed up, and TV was searching for signal for probably a total of 6 hours in the week we were there. Be prepared to spend a LOT of money on food anywhere in hotel.

Cons: The 25 dollars a night to have a fridge in your room. Furthermore, the food could have had a lower cost in opection

Cons: Check in/check out process is painful; correct room was not available and kiosks did not work; staff corrected everything by waiving resort fee and providing a food voucher

Pros: The staff are some of the friendliest, most efficient and professional I've ever come across!!! They are so very helpful. The Pantry restaurant has some of the best food on the strip, which is handy if you don't want to go far to eat. The pool is awesome! Roomy enough to accommodate plenty of people.

Cons: The hotel is a tad bit dated but clean, tidy and well maintained. I will never get used to walking through the casino cigarette smoke to get to the elevators that take you to your room. It's awful and everything reeks of stale smoke, including any clothes you wear as you walk through the casino.

Pros: Beds were soft, pool was amazing and the view was incredible. I liked that the windows did open a little when the room got stuffy.

Pros: The casino and staff were nice

Cons: For over 120$ for a room, I expect a little fridge and microwave in there. Even Motel6 has those lol. It was also a $20 charge to valet park the car, something that should be free for those staying at the hotel. Next time I'll just stay somewhere cheaper.

Pros: I loved how fast housekeeping was at providing what we needed.

Cons: The front desk takes forever to answer. Nothing too major to complain about though.
