Houston hotels in Southwest Houston

not a thing it was terrible! They gave me a bad room in front over freeway to get even for getting discount rate, noise all night long, two nights they had 50-100 dump trucks and other semis right outside my window. They showed up starting about 10:30 pm and went till about 1-2 am Tuesday night and Monday night. They also have very bright lights out side each bedroom which comes through old work blinds. So noise and light make for poor night sleep. They don't clean rooms till late after noon I don't think I should have to pay they put me (the only person I saw on the 7 th floor 100 yards from one of the main freeways going into Houston trucks and cars and workers all night long. In mornings on ramp is right out side window so people gunning motors to access the freeway. And there were empty rooms in other spots people were getting I think going through you, getting a lower rate they punished me by putting me there. Pool was full of slim. I have pictures and video of trucks waking me up in middle of night and they didn't care! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY and they could have cared less! Would never stay there again big front to poor rooms TV channels were all bad unless you paid for some thing! No sleep for two days!

Close to where we needed to be. Ckean Traffic noise ALL NIGHT LONG. Air conditioning constantly on- off - on -off. Just noisy.

Good location, refrigerators and microwaves in the room are convenient. Free parking. We checked in, went to dinner and when we returned the elevators had signs indicating that they were not working. We assumed that it would be temporary and were glad that we had already brought our bags up to our 5th floor room. When we got to the 5th floor, there were absolutely no lights on in the hall and it was totally dark. Using our phones we found our way to our room where the lights also didn't work and the water was just a trickle out of the faucet, but the air conditioner did. Confused, I phoned the front desk and was told that there was a lightning strike and we should have electricity by 10 pm. Around 4:30 am we had electricity again. When we awoke at 7 am there was no electricity, water or a/c. When I called the front desk I was told that the truck had knocked the electricity out but it should be back up shortly. We waited for the electricity so that we could shower and leave. A good thing we didn't need to catch a flight. Had to walk our luggage down 5 flights of stairs. No one apologized for the inconveniences or offered a refund. Not one person.

Location, price, beds were comfy, free parking Rooms have a weird chemical smell to them and they were very DAMP - we drove from this location to New Orleans which took 5 1/2 hours and when I unpacked my clothes were damp and had a mildewy smell to them. The AC unit was also very loud making it hard to stay asleep.

*The night staff was lovely and accommodating. Shout out to Blake for letting us borrow his power cube and to Johnny for lending us a a screwdriver & a screw to open the wine! *The housekeeping staff was awesome. So sweet, always smiling, very pleasant. *Room was clean and well appointed. Plenty of towels and a lovely fluffy duvet. *Price was insanely reasonable. *Breakfast area was kept clean. *Internet was stable & quick. *Good location, safe & well lit. *Blake was not the nicest person ever as day staff. My exchange with him was short, terse and I felt like I was interrupting him. In all fairness, I ran into him later and he was much nicer. *From the check-in counter, you can clearly see a "Hillary for Prison 2016" bumper sticker on the manager's door. Regardless of affiliation, in the hospitality industry, you should make everyone feel welcome. *Facility is dated. The outlets in the room, the card swipe at the back and our door (room 108) were all loose. Our door had problems reading the key card. You had to insert carefully and pull down slowly to get it to read. The shower had cracks in tile both wall and floor. *We had an ADA room and while it was fine for a sight impaired person, there is no way you could a wheelchair through that room. It was impossibly small & cramped.
