One of the most beautiful hotels that I had the pleasure of staying in Just perfect Not a thing
When we were checking-out the money for our staying the hotel took twice from my credit card.
great location, helpful staff, beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed
The location The aircondition didn't work well,so the room was a bit cold.
Friendly, great service, comfortable room Difficult to find hotel
The dependent at the lobby was rude. The room they gave was not ready, there was an empty champaigne bottle with the corresponding dirty glasses. To make matters worse, it was time consuming to resolve. The room we ended up with had two full size beds together, with separate linen for each, instead of a king/queen size bed. The waiters at the bar and common areas were rude. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. In 30 years this is the most we ever paid for accommodations AND the worst service we've received.
Very easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included in our stay. Champagne was served on Sunday. Great variety of foods to select from and coffee was amazing. The view of the Grand Canal cannot be any better. Hotel room key and safe were old world.
All food services Floor plans complex and not safe. Basic facilities far from everything. Ground floor and lobby bathrooms are so hidden one needs a guide to find them. Many staircases have no hand rails. Cost of bottled water obscene! Drinking water is a basic necessity and should be available not priced as an expensive luxury.
The hotel had a fabulous location -- right on the Grand Canal, not far from the Rialto bridge and directly at a Vapparetto stop. We checked in very early and not only was our room ready for us, but they upgraded us to a delux room with a canal view and a large balcony. The room was a decent size, well maintained, and all in working order. The breakfast room is a bit small when weather doesn't permit the use of the outside terrace for breakfast, so you may have to wait a few minutes for a table at breakfast.
Convenience next to the San Angelo vaporetto station. Literally 10 steps! Large bed room. Good breakfast choices. Friendly staff (although some with a chip on their shoulder). Unacceptable pillows (for the money), shower activation requires above average mechanical skill, not all lights were working. Warped carpeting on stairs, broken flooring in the garden breakfast area.
Great location, nice and hysteric hotel
Staff was very rude We had lot of luggage there was no one to help take the luggage through the stairs. Charged extra fee If 2 person stay in the room. Gave us 2 twin bed room.
Staff members are polite and friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. Had their own dock and good location close to San Marco Square. Would recommend.
its location. I was very disappointed with the room and bathroom , extremely small and in my opinon it was very expensive. it was very misleading and for almost 600 euro it was not worth it. Was expecting a little luxury !!!!!
Everything was amazing at the Palace Bonvecchiati, location is great, Staff so helpful! Would definately go back!
What I preferred in the hotel was the location. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The view from the room was not good. The breakfast was poor.
very good design of hotel breakfast was not good enough
Good Location, Very Good Rooms
Great location right off Piazzo San Marco & major gondola loading site made for interesting visuals and sounds. We had cool weather so opening windows were nice to have. Bit noisy but Venice is compact so is somewhat to be expected. Unfortunately the building next door was being renovated and jack hammers were running in the background most of the day.
Place of hotel is very nice. Place of hotel is very nice. But We had some troubles at hotel. In the morning, we had to eat with about 25 guys who look like a construction worker. I asked the reception, who they were, "ı don't want to eat with them in the same place", they were noisy, bad smell, not a guest of the hotel and the reception told us, they were tourists. If they were tourist, where were the couples of them??? I have been charged for that breakfast. And from 6 am in the morning I had beed woke up by the noise of house keepers. So much noise. On the corridor noisy clean bags... It was a bad experience.
Great location, good price, friendly service, very clean Rooms small and tired. Walls very thin and could hear neighbours.
It is quiet yet very accessible to the town. It is actually inside downtown area but very secluded. Very friendly hotel owner and staff. Good recommendations regarding restaurants.
The staff and facilities were great. Food for breakfast also very good. The bar and restaurant are both very good!! Great service. Great quality. And ask for Vincenzo in the restaurant. He's awesome! He and all the staff work hard and together to make your experience special.
Unusual. Helpful staff. Wifi limited. Facilities need updating.
The hotel is extremely well located between St marks square and the Rialto bridge. Arriving by waterbus at Rialto bridge landing ,there are no footbridges before the hotel so no lugging suitcases over steps. The entrance street off Rialto boat landing is only about 4 ft wide and this is surprisingly difficult to find. Also,Walking in one direction the lane is named Bembo but is called San Pedro viewed from the other direction! It then widens and changes name again. The front office staff spoke fluent English and was very helpful and polite. The wifi was spotty and unreliable.
location Although I booked and paid for a room with canal view, they just gave a normal room without canal view and just said "sorry" for that day. They tried to complement their mistake by giving a suit room for the second day. However they came to the room several times to fix heating system. By the way, breakfast is not good. Do not trust your booking for this hotel. Location is not everything.
Pleasant staff, cleanness of the room, view at the S. Marco square, nice and comfortable bathroom. Heating was turned on too much, the thermostat at the room was not responding.
The location is excellent - very well positioned for St.Mark's Square and all the interesting streets and canals around it
Nice and quiet enough room. Very attentive and helpful staff. It is in a great location. The room was a little larger than expected and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, which was unexpected. No elevator and no rooms on the ground floor. Your queen size bed may end up being two single beds pushed together, but that is not so unusual in Europe. In room coffee is a packet of Nescafe, not what you'd expect in Italy.
The hotel was very well appointed and clean. It was near sites of interest to tourists - an easy walk to Saint Mark's. Some good restaurants nearby. Quiet. Overall, we did not find the hotel satisfactory. Services were generally poor. No help with getting on their advertised WiFi; blamed it on the fact that we were using a Mac. Phone in room quit. Even when I returned the phone to front desk no action taken and we lived without a phone for remainder of stay. Bathroom not resupplied with soap, etc.; were told our allotment was provided on day one!
