The location was perfect. Convenient for restaurants, bars etc but away from the the touristy busy areas near the Grand Canal.
Very clean, brand new (renovation), super quiet, away from tourist hotspots. Very comfortable bed with a nice firm mattress. Separate toilet/bath. For its category the breakfast buffet could have offered a little more variety.
Peaceful and well serviced Lack of hot drink making facilities in the rooms
Nice location in the ghetto of Venice Very expensive internet. Staff not always helpful or friendly. Rooms are very dark.
Quiet location. Good price. No restaurant.
I did not like the fruit juice at breakfast - it was watery and tasted artificail.
The location was very good, very clse to the vaporetto stop and all members of staff very helpful.
our stay was very nice. it was in a nice part of venice, quiet but close to all the action. the room was great and the staff were always so helpful in anything we needed. the food was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Very clean & spacious. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Although a short walk to centre of Venice & St Mark's square, it was nice to be outside main tourist area - quieter, local restaurants excellent / cheaper, nice walk in to centre.
The hotel is a contemporary renovation of a very old building, it is very aesthetically pleasing. The bar was small but comfortable, staff very helpful. Ample breakfasts for ever hungry teenagers.
The area is very nice, hotel staff lovely and the room clean and modern, breakfast very good too
Room was lovely, breakfast nice and Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location.
We thought the room was modern with good facilities. The location was fantastic as it was off the beaten track. The service on arrival and departure was great and breakfast was superb. The room looked a little tired and would benefit from a redec.
The staff were more than professional and helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Again my compliments to the helpful staff.
the decor of the rooms and hotel is excellent, the breakfast is very generous and tasty. there are a few small, but essential things missing in the room. eg, a shower curtain, or an iron, or a TV channel in engish
The hotel was perfectly situated as to be in a quiet area but within easy reach of major tourist attractions. The facilities in the room were excellent. The breakfasts were definitely worth getting out of bed for with an excellent buffet selection. We love Mr and Mrs Smith recommended hotels!! The beds were a little on the too hard side but not enough to complain about!!
The location was fabulous, The main building was nicely designed, the public rooms and breakfast room were modern design, bright and appealing. Breakfast was relaxed and enjoyable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Great vibe. The bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, compared to the main building, the annex room seems to be an after thought. Dark and somewhat dingy (ie, smashed bugs on walls and ceiling, oily smudges on wall, toiletries set picked over, shower doors loose and off track.) My room had no number on door and I mistakenly opened my neighbors! Thank goodness they where not inside. Surprisingly, my key seemed to work on all of the doors! Non refundable for a reason, stick to the main building.
The staff, the great breakfast, and the quant location.
The staff were very courteous and extremely friendly, multilingual and efficient. The location is fantastic although a bit of a walk to the centre of Venice. The water taxi is the best way to get there but worth the extra money you pay as it is a short walk to the hotel. The decor is modern and charming as it's namesake. I highly recommend it.
Ideal location, 5 minutes walk to either Rialto Bridge or St Mark's Square. Staff, either not around or when available continous presence made us uncomfortable. He needs more professionalism and better language skills although we fully understand he tried his best. Breakfast presentation.
Excellent location very near St Mark's Square. Staff friendly and helpful. Well designed rooms and reception. Good air conditioning. Nice view from window. Breakfast was exceptionally poor, especially in relation to the price of the hotel. Room was noisy at times (thin walls and next to reception and hotel entrance). Too many light switches in the room - confusing. Showers were unreliable. Room was dark. My wife complained that there were not enough mirrors or shelves.
Fantastic setting, excellent space and design, very romantic
Quiet location. No pet/smoking odors..Nice shower/bath.. Probably had a nice breakfast, however we left early and missed it.. It was very hard to find...Signage was poor throughout Venice, and this hotel had a tiny sign...No one advised us of the stop to get off of from the water taxi..
the staff could not do enough to help and made us feel very welcome. we upgraded to a superior room which was lovely. breakfast could have been better with more choice but was still acceptable
Great location, comfortable beds, excellent shower, good breakfast - would stay there again.
Amazing, great value, kind staff, great location.
the interior room was beautiful, and very modern. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was lovely if simple. The ouside of the hotel at first sight was intimidating as it is very dilapidated. Later we realised that all Venice was much the same. The walls and ceiling conducted a lot of noise. there were children both above us and beside us and this noise appeared to be virtually in the same room. This however did not too much impinge on our stay as being children they went to sleep fairly early.
Quick booking process, good price, and easy to find
The hotel is tiny and well located for the main sights of Venice. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms spotlessly clean. We stayed in a superior double which was quite a bit larger than our friends standard double so I would recommend the superior rooms for taller people as the beds are longer! The Apostoli Palace is a litte gem of a hotel and a perfect base for visiting Venice.
Location; staff very pleasant; good breakfast
we enjoyed our stay at Apostoli Palace very much. The hotel was spotless clean and quiet.Lovely breakfast served until 10 am. Our room was a bit on a small side but we had everything we needed. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. They could reccomend places to visit also good local restaurants, rubber boots were also available when water was high. We would reccomend this hotel for its cleanliness, value for maney and location. It wasn`t easy to find the hotel at first becouse it wasn`t on our map but we called for directions and it was OK
The location was very good - on one hand very close to the very center on Venice, on the other hand not on touristic routs, so we could enjoy the charm of its local life with neighbors, little bars and family run great restaurants. Staff was great too. The room was quite small but furnished in old venician style which was very romantic. Once when it was flooding it smelled sewage from in the bathroom.
internet did't work in the rooms- American Express is not accepted- breakfast start at 8.00
The front desk staf was very rude!!!! He yelled several times at me once I showed him 2 passports only. He said "I need all the 5 passports now!!!". He talked as if I am so stupid, as if it was my first time international trip. And, as if I could not understand English at all!!! I was graduated from the uk for heaven sake! I was so shocked! I was trying to find the lobby of the hotel as we came from the parking lots, with all the bushes and trees, it doesn't look like a hotel at all! The signages are not really clear. So, we went to find the lobby before loading every thing from the rented car. And, nobody helped us with the luggage. Also, the lady during breakfast is so rude and harsh too!!!
Hotel is modern, fresh, excellent decor and style, super pool, tennis, gym, lovely grounds for a stroll, great for a weekend chill with Venice only an hours bus ride away. Excellent hotel only let down by restaraunt/breakfast, very poor breakfast offering and almost a reluctance to be helpful by restaraunt staff.
the room+services+facilities ( tennis;swiming; etc don't have good connection for the city center - they could buy a shuttle bus for the hotel
The hotel was modern comfortable and clean We asked when we checked in if we should book for dinner and were told there was need. The dining area was booked for a wedding so they refused to serve us. We begged for something to eat as we were miles away from anywhere. Breakfast was served a la Fawlty Towers but the restaurant is apparently independent of the hotel itself although in the hotel.
noise! our room (407)was behind the breakfast room and next by the stairs
Central location; good size bathrooms. Hotel building, reception and hall/stairways were extremely shabby. Rooms very dark. Not at all what we were expecting from the photos. We were expecting a 4* hotel as the Casa was listed with the much grander Hotel Priuli, which was misleading. Very poor value for money.
Great Hotel and Location Yes; I could not find the hotel. Very hard to locate at first.
the closness to St Marco Plaza. See first answer.
it felt like awarm cozy castle with Venecian character. The staff, rooms, and breakfast were great. We would absolutely return. Beds a bit too hard .
This hotel has the best staff and management of any hotel I have stayed at. I am not sure there is anything else I can say. Very positive experience.
We stayed at this place for 2 nights, the room was very spacious and good value for the money. The breakfast was excellent compared to other places we've stayed. None
Excellt location! We booked a "tripple room" with a balcony, which was good invetsment. Having a big balcony facing the canal clearly added value. Very friendly and helpful staff (helping us track a lost bag). A bit expensive, but probably good value for money in Venice. Breakfast ok, but not great.
Well located, staff came immediately to unload water taxi and get us into room. Very helpful with tourist arrangements. Good atmosphere Do not try and get there from public transport. Use a water taxi . but no worse than others and better than most
The Hotel is very classic. Great location. Very good staff. Beds were horrible but everything else great
Location is great! Very close to the train station and sights in Venice. The shower in our room had broken doors and flooded out entire room. My husband and I had a mosquito infestation in our room. Two of the staff members were rude. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Breakfast selection was very limited
The staff were wery professional and helpful. Eccellent location near station.
The location was nice Being on the 4th floor with no elevator. Make sure to pack light! The room was air conditioned but didn't work very well. The bed was a little old.
Location is convenient. Breakfast table usually unavailable due to no space, so have to stand and wait for long time; slow service by one person who is overworked.Food available disappointing with no eggs or meat supplied. Central heating was not allowed to be switched on (even when requested), when it was cold and moist inside the room.
location I booked the double room with my own bathroom, which also was showed in my paper from the booking.com. However, the staff of the hotel gave me a very small room (no .402) without the bathroom. My wife and I had to share the publc bathroom with other residents. No.402 is not worth 75 Euros. I argued this poor service with the staff, but he was rude and told me there was nothing he can do. Although the staff gave me the discount, the hotel and staff's service destroy my mood to enjoy the Venice. The remoter of the TV in this hotel even chaege the 10 Euros deposit. I forgot to take the money back when I checked out. Thus, I do not recommend this hotel and score 0.
I like it very much specially for his location, not so far from the center of Venice!! No complaints!
breafasts were wonderfull, especially with two teenagers boys always hungry. And people of the hotel were very nice, thank you. only one problem: I got mosquitos or fleas' stitches - I can't distinguish - but it was unpleasant for me during my last night in the hotel and four days after !
Location, staff and breakfast It would be nice if the room floor was clean. I do not think that it has been mopped in ages. It was real dusty and dirty especially along the walls and only clean from the tracking of the feet.
Great location near the train station. Helpful staff. Great rates. Rooms are just...meh. Not dirty -- but just old. Very tiny. Beds were not comfortable.
The location of the hotel is great, right by the train station and the grand canal. The temperature of our room was unbearably hot and the hotel staff did not help with it at all. The hotel is filled with mosquitoes.
Made very welcome by the staff. A relaxing stay in rural surroundings.
awful accomodation, barely a hotel. in the middle of no-where. meant to be on the beach but that is a blatent lie. meant to be 4 star - also an utter fabrication. the only thing i DID like about this place was the front door as we left at the end of our stay.
Great hotel at a great price. Staff were great! I would like to go back in the summer time.
very helpful at reception , good local bus service within 100 metres pool doesn,t open until end of may , no beach ,only large boulders , good tennis courts , mainly for younger people
It was clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Although initially it seemed a bit isolated there was plenty of public transport to tak you to Lido Venice or the fabulous beach at Alberino
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere and hotel stuff, cleanliness, beautiful surrounding Absolutely nothing
It is nice, new and clean. The breakfast was terrific. The sauna and workout room is great. Smartly designed room, comfortable bed, and big balcony with distant sea view. It is quite far from venice. It is atleast 15 min. to Lido center to catch the ferry. It could take up to an hour to get to piazza san marco. The surroundings of the hotel are sparse and industrial. must take a bus or car to get to restaurants, shopping, etc. the do not have access to the ocean.
The staff was friendly. Price/quality ratio is good. There was too much noise in the rooms from the hallways. Breakfast menu should be more diverse. The mosquitos were quite aggressive.
We found the staff particularly friendly. Limited public IT facilities and no effort to keep mosquitos at bay.
Clean, large rooms Staff were quite surly, lifeguards downright rude. The place felt a little unloved and could have been improved by small touches here and there. For example shabby patio furniture, bar in the hotel shut.
