The location was as reported, so convenient to the train station. Truly a 5-8 minute walk. We dealt with Marie Aurora during our visit and she couldn't have been more welcoming or gracious. She treated us like we were family. The room was lovely. European pillows are a little thin for us. Wish that we could have had one more pillow in the room.
Hotel employe were extremely helpful. Breakfast was delivered to our room. The coffee was great, served with warmed milk. One night we wanted pizza in our room. When we asked hotel employee where to get one, ordered it for us and brought it
actually i like everything, esp the location and the room....just next to the train station as well as the car park isn't far (only 20 minutes to get to the airport by bus)....and also being next to the Grand Canal, the view is just perfect...
The location is excellent. It is just beside the station and we had a room with a good view of the Grand Canal. We received a very friendly welcome.
Excellent hotel, excellent location and excellent staff and service. We stayed for our 20th anniversary and it was great. The location on the Grand Canal and next to Ferrovia was convenient for both the waterbus and walking around Venice.
The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay very special.
room window faced the Grand Canal
The location was pretty convenient. The room looks rather old, but the bathroom was the best, modern, chic, spacious. Only negative was there was no elevators, and to get there you have to cross a big bridge of stairs from Piazzale Roma, which is rather difficult if you're carrying a huge luggage. The lack of stairs. Also, the wifi was per device only, and when I asked for 3 login accounts for my 3 devices, the guy on the phone was rather rude about it but he created the accounts anyway.
It's position A lot of stairs
Comfortable, clean, lux. Good selection of breakfast to kick start our day. Staffs were very accomodating to us as guests. Felt like a home away from home
Excellent bed, great location Little daylight - but inevitable for much of Venice
Great Hotel- staff was very friendly. Looked like nothing from the outside- so lucky to find it but absolutely pleasant stay.
staff not helpful, from outside the hotel doesn't look good and one of the rooms was very smelly.
Rooms were a good size, fantastic location and very comfortable. perfect for a short stay you were in the middle of every thing. Some people may find it a bit hard to find.
Emplacement, room and quietness
delightful quiet part of Venice, very helpful staff - Umberto met us at the vaporetto stop and helped us get our bags to the hotel. The room was gorgeous with beautiful canopied bed and large bathroom all just completed. no breakfast as hotel is not completed yet
Large room, comfortable bed and good loacation WIFI should be included in the fee.
This is a charming old hotel that has been completely renovated. The owner was charming and very helpful. Our upgraded room was particularly nice.
Central location. Room size. Friendly staff.
We loved the quant atmosphere of the hotel as well as the privacy we were given. It was in a great location to walk anywhere really in Venice. The service was excellent and helpful. The room was just the right size with a great view of a garden. We still had a Venice experience at an affordable cost. The first night the room was very cold and the pillows aren't the most comfortable but they aren't the worst.
Excellent location and standard of room
Newly renovated and very clean Still under renovations. Thin walls and poor/dim lighting at night (they are sensor lights)
The hotel is in a great location – 10 min stroll to piazza San Marco and the Rialto. The roof top terrace was fantastic for relaxing in the evening. The staff were fantastically helpful – they made great recommendations for restaurants and took care of the reservations. We had difficulty finding the hotel as there is no sign.
Cleanliness, decoration of the room, mixture of old and new furnishings. Very well heated, maybe slightly too warm! Great roof terrace and a bottle of free processo per room.
I liked the fact that there were only four rooms and the staff there were amazingly friendly and did everything they could to help us! the fact that we had to share a bathroom with four other rooms but that was only because i was bursting for a wee one morning and had to wait because the other rooms had some sort of tag team going on to get into the shower!
We stayed here for one night and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The double rooms with a shared bathroom were spacious and had a great view of the Grand Canal. Breakfast was awesome and was lovely out on the balcony. Also had a bag storage facility which was good too.
everything, from the staff to breakfast to location everything actually. i'll visit this hotel again for sure. nothing at all, only they don't clean the room in the morning , mayby becauce we closed the room ??!
Excellent location with great view of the grand canal!! close to the Rialto station and restaurants. Friendly service from the owner... good coffee/espresso machine! This is not a walk-in BB. The owner is only at the BB for a window of time, I had to wait for the maid in the AM to show before checking in during the afternoon. No way of contacting staff if owner's away. Suggestions: 1. shower curtain 2. have a phone in house to contact the owner
The view from the hotel is very good. As well as the breakfast.
Alex, the owner of this B&B is very helpful. His room and breakfast are very great too.
the perfect location and the view on the canale Grande the was no separate toilet. The shared bathroom included the shower and the toilet. This can be inconvenient.
Beautiful room, queen comfy four poster bed with a view of the canal, Minutes from Fish Market, Rialto Bridge, Vaporetto stop. Breakfast room is cozy. Bathroom was sparkling clean.
Our hotel stay was fabulous. The owner, Adriana, is extremely friendly and well-spoken in English (as well as Italian and French!). She provided lots of food for our breakfast, as well as plenty for a snacks. We could have espresso every morning if we wanted to! Our room was comfortable, and our bed even had what felt like a memory foam mattress topper. When we arrived early from our cruise ship, we were able to get right in to the B&B and drop our suitcases before heading out on the town. Our room was even ready, and she was more than happy to let us in (and we even made use of it for an afternoon nap!). The view of the Grand Canale was so charming. Shopping is easy access, and it is only a 3 min walk to the Rialto Bridge! The only thing is that the door handles/ door locks are very loud as they turn. So, with another room next to ours, we could hear when they went in and out of their room and the bathroom. But it is not a big enough problem to keep us from staying there again.
