Cons: * Buffet breakfast can get very busy during certain times.. not the hotels fault and easily resolved by attending outside of the peak time which I find is from 9am onwards. Not a criticism simply and observation.

Cons: I find the new staff at the front desk not trained like the ones before the change, I have been staying in the hotel for over 15 years and staff always greeted me when I arrived and it makes you feel welcomed. The new staff now are unaware and I was told because I dont book direct with the hotel and book through booking.com that I am no longer platinum and no longer get the lounge, I found the hotel manager rude and asked him to have his manager call me and he said she is very busy (I was staying for a week) never had a call and really don't know if I or my staff will be back. Having access to the lounge so I can go and sit somewhere besides my room to do some work is important to me and don't feel I should have to pay $50 a day extra. They really don't understand that corporate loyal customers should be looked after as it is repeat business.

Cons: I liked everything about the hotel except valet parking at $90.00 was very expensive. There was an alternate parking a few blocks away with Wilson parking. I have a disability and we thought the walk would be too far so opted to pay the $90.00 but when we arrived at the hotel there was no parking out the front, Taxis and 2 cars with their hazards were on but none in them. It was also raining and the traffic was bad. We found our way to the Wilson car parking and slowly made our way back to the hotel walking with our bags.

The rooms are on the small side and the fridge is filled with drinks so no room for storing our own. The fridge and snacks also work on a system that they charge you immediately once removed so you can not take them out.

The room was clean and modern. Service was great. The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Darling Harbor and Chinatown are just 4-5 minute walk. Town Hall subway station is just around the corner. Two grocery stores are very close by if you want to stock up on things.
The gym is great and quite extensive. There is a nice pool and sauna, although the hot tub was only like warm temperature.
Overall me and my two boys ( 9 and 11) had a great time fornthe week we were in Sydney.

His "No" answer was very definitive and curt.

Cons: The hotel did not meet expectations, the king bed is not a real king mattress instead is two singles put together with a noticeable bump in the middle.
The price is too high specially considering the building itself is old and the rooms are really small.

Cons: One thing that must be brought to your attention is the lack of adequate warning for the step immediately outside the main entrance. I believe there should be a hazard warning sign ("Mind the Step") placed on the lip of the step so public are alerted to the danger. Whilst I was there I missed the step and fell forward, knocking my wife over. No serious injury was sustained by either my wife or myself and the attention we received at the time was excellent. This incident would not stop me staying in the hotel again.

Cons: The room was smelly, it was very musty and old. The water pressure in the shower was atrocious and the shower itself had a terrible bath curtain that failed to keep water off the floor. I had to put down towels so I did not slip.

What would mothers who need to heat bottles up for children do? Hm?
