Hamburg hotels in Altona

room was clean breakfast was not included in price - in the US it would have been. I had to pay to use internet - again, in the US this is free. The room was facing a loud street and the temp. in room was too warm but could not be fixed - so I opened window but then it was too loud from street noise.

the big bed, the toilet was good, but we didn't stay verry long at the hotel the cleaning woman, the man who came in my room at 8'o clock in the morning and wake me up

The quiet neighbouring area.... This old hotel could have been a traditional place with 19C mood but the hotel owner seems to have renovated it into a luxruious and rich but souless place--in terms of the hotel's interior and the service of the staff. I feel like I am staying at any of 5-star hotels in downtown of a big metropolitan city like New York, Singapore, Tokyo or Seoul. No touch of Hamburg.

Cool design, nice ambiance, very spacious, attentive, polite and discreet service, great restaurant, easy access to airport. The heat! In the summer the hotel gets very hot and it is not comfortable o sleep. I do not like air conditioning as it is usually noisy however i think you need to do something about the temperature in the hotel. I have friends who will not stay at the Gaswerk only bocause it gets too hot, otherwise they like the place.

The room was not the booked room. All personnel rather unfriendly and unwilling to help. Motel atmosphere in parts almost prison-like. Rooms missing any warmth or eye for details. Overall disappointing and not living up to what the pictures promise.

Hotel is centrally located in Altona and close to train station Internet rate quoted price excluding breakfast, but breakfast charged at full rate if taken or not

It was well located and there is free public transport on the underground with your room card. The first night we were provided with 3 double rooms having requested 3 twin rooms, which we were moved to the second day. Also breakfast is not included in the price but you are given breakfast vouchers with your room key at check in and are charged for breakfast whether you have it or not. Staff were very unhelpful when we were checking out and laughed at us when we questioned this.

quite clean, free parking and very cheap Note this is a hostel! not really clear in description but very much unsuitable for business travellers! Could be more clearly diplayed! Only kids running around

big rooms, helpfull staff, parking (not for free but secure and next to the hotel), good location close to the tube station. the first room they gave us was not ready at 16:00, when we arrived, and the second room was not very clean. Check in time is 15:00 and check out time is 10:00, if you want to keep the room longer you have to pay 5 euro per person.
