Pros: The entire holiday was amazing, all the staff were so kind and helpful. From Grace checking us in on arrival, to Gilbert the bellboy that was kind and funny to Sunjit the life guard and everyone in between were amazing. The breakfast was great, the Club Rotana Lounge was fantastic, even the gym was brilliant. And the pool and the view were WOW!!!
Cons: I genuinely cannot say one thing that could have made my stay better at Albandar Rotana. If I had to say one thing it would be I prefer softer pillows but that is me clutching at straws and that is personal preference, and saying that my wife actually preferred the slightly firmer pillows.

Pros: Lovely room with all you needed, excellent bed, things seemed in the right place. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast is maybe that you would expect from a first class hotel with six stars. The staff throughout very friendly and helpful without imposing themselves.
Cons: In the room I would have wished for a coffee-machine that was more easy to use than the current model. I did not manage to make it work :-(

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. Honestly. It was within cheap taxi rides to all the souks in Deira. Bus options to these souks were also available but we tried to minimise walking in the heart. The hotel is also 3 minutes away from the metro, which linked us to new Dubai. Service was excellent and I'd recommend the breakfast option.

Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the rooms clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lots of restaurants and shops in the building, with the option of ordering room service from any of them. Would consider this hotel a good option in the future. Free WiFi, a universal outlet to plug in electronics from just about anywhere, and the option for wired internet if that is your preference.
Cons: Ask for rooms on the third floor or higher. The first floor rooms are right by the pool (closed for renovation), and below all of the second floor restaurants. At about 7:45 AM you start hearing a lot of noise from both the pool and restaurants. Also the view from the large window was basically a back alley.

Cons: I would like to stay for 3 hours with a friend off 2 the only reason we stayed there is to dress up and take showers but the receptionist wasn't friendly I know the laws but she didn't understand the circumstances she think we booked two bad to stay for three she listens her self for that reason I don't see the Sheraton standard I understand that very poor customer service I have reason to stay and tell her the situation instead that she tells for security to not going three of us I feel like stupid and disrespectful I paid and one day and just for 3 hours staying that's not acceptable even if the security they got told to go there job but the didn't understand why they have to do this they feel very sorry what so ever she should be at that position either she has to training or I am not trying to be mean and bad that very true if you want to the business people look the custemer service I one that night I can not bring my friends I so sorry

Pros: Great Value. Loved the newly refurbished pool. Lots of workout equipment. Big clean, nicely furnished rooms. The buffet breakfast is worth including in the room rate. There were many choices with some variance. The staff was attentive all around. Our room was cleaned each day while we were at breakfast. Decor is pleasing to the eye. Very quiet and got the best night sleep in a long while. Close to Union and AL Rigga Metro stops so easy to and from airport. Amazing Value.

Pros: The hotel is situated in the heart of Al Rigga with plenty on the doorstep which I much appreciated having spent time in other hotels where there is little within walking distance, The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed while the staff were unfailingly polite. The fact the hotel is smaller than the megahotels which dot Dubai makes for a much more friendly stay than the typical impersonal and rather sterile experience

Pros: This was my first time in Dubai so I wasn't aware of how big it was. I chose this hotel cause it was in my price range and it still had a nice long pool. Once I got there the pool did not disappoint! It was very nice with shade and sun, full service and quiet! The staff here we're very friendly and helpful. The was great, much better than other hotel breakfasts. The room was large and so was the bathroom. I didn't try the restaurants at the hotel but they were always busy so I'm assuming they were good! The subway was right down the street. Overall this was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend staying here!
Cons: The bed was a little hard and the room had a funny smell. I had mentioned to the staff that it was a little warm in my room and I attempted to turn down the AC but that didn't work. I think the building is climate controlled and it was a little warm for me. Also I didn't appreciate that they charged me to print out two pages worth of vouchers for a tour. If you are familiar with Dubai and you know the Bur Dubai area then this is a great hotel. If you are not familiar with the city then realize that this is in the old part of town. The new/modern part of the city is about an hour away with traffic. Although it is close to the subway it is still very inconvenient to get to the more tourist areas.

Pros: Reception let me check in at 9am despite the 2 pm check in policy and did not charge me extra.
Cons: The four star rating of the hotel is quite misleading. The building is just too old/worn down for that rating. I still think it's good value for money and I had a good experience with the staff.
"Located in Deira, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Fish Roundabout and Al Ghurair Centre. Gold Souk and Naif Souq are also within 2 miles (3 km). Salah Al Din Station is 9 minutes by foot and Union Station is 15 minutes. "

Cons: The service was horrible. Receptionist don't care about you at all. Once they have ur money they don't care. Worst service I have ever seen I wish I never stayed here. Been to two other hotels in Dubai and they treat u like loyalty. The workers at the hotel are all extremely rude. Even room service woke me up at 4 am twice for food and it was the wrong room. I have sleeping issues and they didn't even bother to let me check out later. Disgusting service over all. Food in menu shown isn't even available. Rooms look old. Just thank avoid this place. Dubai is supposed to be enjoyable and this place took my whole experience away

Pros: Place was decent, but I probably wouldn’t ever go back or recommend it to anyone. It’s cheap, has AC, and is decently located in Old Dubai, but the roach in my bathroom and clerk that said I owed 20 Dirhams at check in for some reason sealed the deal for a negative review.

Cons: Music was too loud. There was at least 5 different clubs inside the hotel. Loud music was playing until 3 am. Not a 4 star, it's more like a 1 star hotel. would not recommend this hotel to anyone. No airport shuttle.
