Customer service was amazing - every employee we interacted with was super helpful
Brand new, modern design, nice lobby area patio & restaurant. Quiet rooms, pretty comfy. Saw a few comments referencing The Art as a 5 star in the category of Ritz & Four Seasons... not quite that nice, it's a solid 4 star hotel.
Nothing Parking lot too small if you have a full sized pick up. Shower broken, towel rack broken, still had garbage in the room, safe didn't work. Noisy area, sirens, people yelling or fighting all night. Appeared to be a few drug deals just outside the parking lot fence. Bum asking for money in the parking lot and then becoming aggressive and police had to be called. Didn't seem like a very good part of town
The desk girl. Everything. Never return bad neighbourhood rooms were dirtier then the streets. Paid for my room an left that day to a cleaner more reliable hotel. Not even worth 50 cents a night.
Most everything. -Bright lights coming through the windows, with curtains that cannot black it out. -Breakfast selection/layout is fairly lacking.
Room was clean. The nightclub pounds music until 2am 2 doors down. We had a small infant with us and for some reason the front desk clerk put us on the side of the building closest to the club even after requesting a quiet room....we would've requested to change but by the time we figured out where the music was coming from it was 10pm.
We picked it because it was affordable for a one night stay in Denver before our morning flight. It is close to downtown so you can walk wherever you need to go. Room was in good condition. It was right next to the 7/11 gas station which consisted of about 6-10 homeless people sitting about 3 feet from our vehicle. We had one come up us asking for money when we were leaving early in the morning. Also the elevator smelled of vomit and/or pee. We proceeded to then only use the stairs.
Enjoyed the location! Affordable and great value for what you get! Did not like the fact that they do not except debit cards. Also they make a manager go and expect the room before you can receive your deposit back. May not be the place 2 stay if your a regular business traveler.
The staff were friendly. The location seemed unsafe. Homeless people lingered around the hotel. The room itself wasn't filthy, but I wouldn't consider it terribly clean either.
The location was great, hotel, for the most part, was clean, and staff was nice. Found a tick in the bed which staff didn't do anything about, shower/tub facet had a leak and wouldn't cut off completely, and the maid service wasn't the best.
It was close to the events I wanted to attend. The bathroom had no ventilation and the shampoos, soaps and lotions had been previously used. They we also very skimpy on the towels. There's a significant homeless population all around the hotel.
Lots of electricity in the air with the concerts going on and the night life That we were there for 4 days wish I could stay longer
The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged for me to change rooms when the safe did not work in my room.
Good breakfast options, walkable to downtown in good weather, staff orders taxis, which arrive quickly. All the many staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. I didn't care for having to walk on outdoor balconies to get to room--Denver is cold this time of year! Heaters are window boxes (like A/C), not very efficient, noisy all night. Room keys get demagnetized too quickly, I kept having to go back thru the cold to the front desk to demagnetized key.
This hostel is very close from the downtown of Denver. There are several cockroaches in my room.
Good location. Comfy beds Lots of homeless people living at that place, probably by the next bed to you. While it's good from humanitarian point, I doubt travellers will feel safe around them.
Close to downtown. A relaxed atmosphere. Felt safe. Good value for money. No control over heating in the room. No extra blankets provided.
Location is good and coffee so cheap. Very noisy neighborhood
Closseness to the downtown area The hotel is advertise as a Hostel. I have stayed in hostels all over the world while backpacking and I'm not picky at all. This place is not a hostel, tehre are actually people living there. I think it is a shelter home.
location was perfect for down town without having to take a car or cab they had my reservation but they didnt have records of me paying through booking.com, so i had to pay again. that was very upsetting
