Pros: Amazing location. Very professional staff. Beautiful hotel, amazing rooftop view, great spa facilities, luxurious rooms/bathrooms (and spacious), clean
Cons: The rooftop restaurant is terrible! The view is incredible. The food there is as bad as it gets. Take in the view during the free breakfast; the meals they serve there at all other times is not worth paying for (it is disgusting, masquerading as "haute cuisine" The spa is nice but lacks any written guidelines to ensure guest tranquility. Letting children use the spa and having no rules relating to that can ruin the experience for other guests. Kids shouldn't be in the hot tub/heated pool area unsupervised. Nor should they be learning how to swim or doing water tricks. It's supposed to be peaceful. Children shouldn't ruin experience for other guests. We couldn't use sauna or steam room because it was overrun with young kids. I have no problem with children but the lack of any rules or restrictions as it pertains to the spa is really problematic at Electra Metropolis. as a result my enjoyment of facilities was extremely limited.

Pros: New and feels cutting edge. Good location right in the heart of everything. A/C in the rooms works well on hot summer days.
Cons: The way in which the hotel is new and cutting edge feels like it was put together very quickly, and in a few years time won't be that nice. Showers seem to leak water all over the bathroom. Service at the restaurant/bar on the rooftop is mediocre.
"Located in Athens City Centre, this hotel is within 2 miles (3 km) of U.S. Embassy, Syntagma Square and Hellenic Parliament. Panathenaic Stadium and Ermou Street are also within 2 miles (3 km). Megaro Moussikis Station is 9 minutes by foot and Ambelokipi Station is 11 minutes. "

Pros: The room was large, clean, and it came with a kitchen! Breakfast was great, and the area was excellent and very close to the metro. Can't beat it for the price!
Cons: The wifi was a bit spotty at times, especially in the bedroom. But I was on the third floor, so maybe it's better on the lower floors!

Pros: I was on a tour. The first night was on me. very good room and this extended to second night. Off i went on the tour and returned for last night. This room was very small and nothing like the first night. There was painting and construction on floor and we had to pass through this to get to the room. The hotel did call to let me know about the length of work and offered a new room. I was too tired to move. They did send up a lovely tray of fruit and bottle water. I think the size of the room was picked by the tour not the hotel. The staff was great.
Cons: The business center. Not personal at all. I walked in asking about the getting a boarding pass. The lady pointed to the computer. I explained that I was not knowledgeable about computers. I was told to key in my airline and follow instructions. No help. She was not busy. I guest I look like a tourist and not a business person.

Pros: Due to extensive flight delays we missed the first night of our reservation at St. George and did not arrive in Athens until 6AM. However, we forgot all about our troubles almost immediately after checking into this superb hotel. 1. Without even telling us they upgraded our room to the front side of the hotel which had absolutely incredible views of the Acropolis from our balcony. While it wasn't a large room (they never are in Europe!), it was clean, the bed was great, and the bathroom was perfectly OK. 2. Despite our exhaustion, we dragged ourselves out of bed just in time to catch breakfast. Went up to the 6th floor and was blown away by the 360 views of Athens. We asked if we could just grab a plate of food from the buffet (delicious selection) and take it back down to our room. Not only did they say yes, but they had someone carry our food down to the room ON A SILVER PLATTER. No jokes. Also, without even asking for it they sent with a hot carafe of coffee with STEAMED MILK. 3. On the last leg of our trip, coming back from an island, we had 12 hours to kill in Athens before heading to the airport. Despite no longer being guests for over 7 days they graciously stored our bags and let us hang out at the roof pool until we had to leave. WHAT. 4. Oh, and the pool is like a dream. Gorgeous pool with gorgeous Athens view with lounge chairs and great music. Happy hour is from 7-9 offering 6 euro cocktails. The neighborhood this hotel is in is really great and completely safe as it is where all the embassies are located. Since it's on a hill be prepared to climb! It is worth it as there are very charming buildings, great cafes, shops, and restaurants. You can be in Kolonaki (walking) in 15-20 minutes. There is a metro stop 7 blocks away that goes directly to the airport. WHY WOULD YOU STAY ANYWHERE ELSE? I know I won't be.... Thank you St. George! You made our trip.

Pros: Most of the staff was helpful and friendly with only a couple exceptions. Located in a safer/nice side of town that is much more quiet. Atm and money exchange available. Nice pool area and great pool staff but not enough sun chairs/space.
Cons: The spa wasn't open for all of my four day stay except for one day. The one day they were open they only had massage capabilities available (ie no facials or nail treatments etc) so I went ahead and booked a massage with the only therapist available. I found the male massage therapist to be a bit unprofessional and the massage was oddly touchy. For example it seemed like he was trying to rub his body on the sides of mine while giving my massage. The breakfast buffet is 22 euros and a lot of the food was cold including meat and eggs which is dangerous! All food at this hotel is pretty over priced. No hot tub as advertised? Dirty/moldy between bathroom tiles. If they call a taxi for you the ride is 3 euros more expensive

Pros: I like the location.
Cons: Room interior dated. Bathroom poor quality. Breakfast was expensive and poor quality. Although at the end since I complained they did not charge for for one and I did not use for the rest of the days. If I conclude if they were advertising it for a 3 star hotel I would have put my best comments and I would have set my exoectations but for a 5 star, not at all met my expectation.

Cons: The hotel was tired. The room and bathroom were not clean. This is not a five star hotel as described by travel sites. The power in the hotel failed in the middle of the night & we had no AC, emergency lighting came on, which is what we woke to at 3am. The house phone was ignored when I attempted to call the front desk to clarify the situation. I called from my mobile & was told 'this happens all the time'. An appalling 'hotel'.

Pros: Everyone was so nice. The person that assisted us when we checked in went above and beyond. Cons: The location is far from the city center. The hotel has only one restaurant including a pool bar which was booked for a private function for 2 nights. Pros: Breakfast and the 8th floor restaurtant which has an amazing view of Athens,
Cons: Nothing. Basically the holel has low quality of mattress and pillows. They do not provide complimentary beverages of any kind. The location is on a busy street and is surrounded by narrow streets and apartments. The hallways are dark and lights are too dim to see the door number or the side of key to put into the electronic lock. I am not sure it is a 4-star hotel.

Pros: I enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool very much. The location isn't too bad. Metro and taxis easily available on a daily basis. Rooms were average but clean and comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast buffet that was included was very well done. The restaurant and pool on the roof were fantastic as well. Incredible views of the sunset and the city.
Cons: Our only complaints were the small refrigerator in the room barely got cold and when we pulled the cabinet away from the wall to check if it was plugged in, it hadn’t been cleaned back there in years. Absolutely filthy (cigarette butts, debris, dirt). However, if the refrigerator was working properly we would have never known. The rest of the room was very clean. Pros: Amazing location near the Parthenon, the Acropolis museum, the metro, and the Plaka tourist shopping area. Plenty of tavernas, gyros, and gelato nearby. Our room on the 3rd floor was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable so I got a very good sleep. Cons: I wish I could stay longer!

Pros: Excellent location. Steps away from the New Acropolis Museum. Steps away from a pedestrian only street with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and street performances. Very close to the Acropolis and the Metro station. The pedestrian only street allows you to go all the way around the Acropolis and see other antiquities such as the Agora and the Thiseum. Excellent free breakfast with 50 different dishes. It is a full breakfast, not a continental breakfast as is it appears in the description of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing. It was better than I expected.

Pros: Location was fantastic with it being close to all the restaurants in Plaka as well as Monasteraki. The rooms were well appointed and the bathrooms were probably the best that my girlfriend saw during our stay in Greece. The rooftop restaurant was world class with awesome views of Hadrien's gate. Highly recommend it. The staff at the reception were great at making reservations and helpful with directions.
Cons: The gym was quite an insult to the hotel of this calibre. It was located outside with outdated equipment out of which most of them didn't work. If I did not know the area well, then I wouldn't have felt safe going to the gym which was accessible from the outside next to a dark street and parking garage.
