Pros: Great location, walking distance to the university. very friendly staff, helpful. they kept our suitcase for a week when we were not there. I left my e reader in the room and they returned it to me the next day.

Pros: Conveniently located near Erasmus University, and bus stop is right in front. I was offered upgrade (superior > executive) at EUR25/night upon C/I, which included free minibar w/ Nespresso & mineral water, bath lobe, slippers, broadband access (upgrade from wifi), and high floor (less noise and better view), which I though was a good deal. Room was spacious, nice and clean. Comfy firm mattress. Breakfast was offered at two levels, EUR 9.50 for continental, or EUR 19 for buffet (many choices of meat/cheese/pastries/juice, enough for consecutive stay). 'Breakfast included' rate meant buffet. Dinner was good, with enough selection of glass wines, a little pricey though. No other restaurants nearby, except for on-campus HOT SPAR and food court.

Cons: No outside area although the weather was nice. Also the lighting in the room is very low, needs some more lights.

Cons: lack of hospitality attitude from the hotel receptionist staffs. Novotel is a big brand and I have stayed at Novotel in various places in Asia, I regretted to tell the one in rotterdam brainpark unfortunately has minimum service excellence staffs, they did "wow" me but from not so positive point of view.

Cons: We travelled to visit our Daughter and were Extremely dissapointed with our stay. We were accused of not paying, we then showed them proof thereof on our bank statements after which they snubbed and said "ok" without apologizing. Daily housekeeping was poor, rooms were not clean and the staff were very unfriendly. We will not be returning there again.

Cons: The sofa bed for the third person was not very comfortable. When the third person requested a warmer blanket, she was given one quickly but the blanket wasn't clean.

Pros: the staff is super friendly and helpfull, Last time I was sick and the staff came to the room and brought me a painkiller. they also let me sleep a little bit longer and they didn't bother that we checked out a little later. They are super friendly. When we are in town we stay here every time. The hotel is not far from the center. And in the hotel you have some fun games to play!! We pretty much liked everything :p

Pros: Very interesting mix of university students living in a dorm and temporary hotel guests. Lots of nice public spaces for studying, working, ping pong, billiards, 25 minute walk from downtown. Bike rentals were easy and cheap (€9 for 24 hours), bikes were high quality. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms were well designed, clean, and updated.

Cons: The personal was rude, didn't want to help with invoice. I send atleast 4 mails to ask for the correct invoice, the same invoice was sended over and over again. Even though the hotel itself is very nice, the staff ruins it.
