The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I liked the wooden floors. The staff is very helpfull and kind. An excellent breakfast buffet.
the rooms are big I had problems with the water in my room
the size of the rooms and location the rooms need a uptodate, internet did not work , the staff need more training, and if you have a visitor comming to your room They will charge you R$ 70,00 that.
Bad quality sheets
Friendly staff, good breakfast. Renovating the gym and swimmingpool, so no access. The rooms are old and needs to be renovated!
Location is good. Close to the Paulista Avenue. But you shouldn't walk in the streets when its dark. Hotel staffs are very rude and there is nobody to control them. So they can talk and treat you as they wish and there is no place you can complain them. And also don't expect European Standards from this hotel.
We' ve seen the staff people at the breakfast room cleaning up the tables with used napkins at the two mornings we're there.
Hotel is secure and clean. Location is excelent. Very near and easy to reach to Avenida Paulista (5 minutes by foot). Kind and helpful staff. Rooms are large.
Location is excellent. Very near to Avenida Paulista (5 minutes by foot) which has shopping centers, restaurants and cinemas. Hotel is clean and secure. Rooms are large and comfortable.
nice warm shower, strong current the fact 4 each friend I took 2 my room, I had 2 pay 20 euro extra, even if it was 5 minutes, due 2 'double room/single use' policy...
Very pleasant hotel & well located. Rooms smallish but everything you need. I would probably choose to stay there again. All the extra taxes etc which came on top of the price I was quoted or on the price for a meal in the restaurant.
Nice room and good staff service The gym wasnt big enough
I go to the hotel a lot and sometimes I check in late. It would be nice that when i request a simple upgrade, the hotel would accomodate with this. I have asked many times and I have been denied many times. Other than that, the hotel is great (Tryp Paulista) and the other hotels of yours I have stayed at also.
nice place but ridiculously slow and expensive internet - when are they going to include free, broadband wireless? nice place but ridiculously slow and expensive internet - when are they going to include free, broadband wireless?
Price of internet at 256 speed or 512 speed is outragous! the free service is of 64 kbt !
location, great breakfast buffet, excellent low priced offer, young abd friendly straff
the service was excelent
Beatiful neighborhood, but not centrally located. Terrible service: backed up toilets, broken air conditioner, no towels at pool, etc. We were not the only ones to have this experience. This is a nice facility with poor management.
Staff is kind, efficient and professional. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.
The staff are lovely. Room a little faded.
Area not great, next time would stay more in jardins area
The staff. The breakfasts. The neighbourhood. The city view. The hotel has begun charing for internet access. This is disappointing in an otherwise good hotel. Why should I pay to use my computer in my room?
Good, central location. The hotel is a calm oasis in a hectic city. The staff were lovely; flexible about check in times, flexible about check out times, and keen to help. Nothing seemed to be a problem. Good breakfasts too. Thoroughly recommended.
on the hotel descritption it claims to be a desing hotel wich is far from it, it just a normal hotel and I would say a 3 stars not 4
I loved location (close to metro, museum , shopping, restaurants), staff was very kind, breakfast was ok. I think the hotel needs new furniture, it's old.
Location. Room was very nice. Staff did not speak english
Central No Gym
The hotel is only 100 metres from Consolacao metro station. The room is large and it is a good 3 or 4 star hotel. Care should be taken in Rua Augusta late at night. Please note the hotel is located 10 metres from Paulista shopping 3 and infact the rear car park of the hotel can be seen from Paulista avenue . Brasil is an expensive country therefore the hotel is a fair price. Good meals can be bought in the shopping mall across the road , which also has Many atms in although I could only get 100 reals a time out. There are other banks nearby on paulista avenue and a Mc Donalds. Please just bear in mind SAO PAULO with the Brasilian currency being so strong is an expensive country , therefore this hotel is a good choice .
I got a nice suite that even includes a kitchenette. The room was clean and staff was helpful.
space in my room and in bathroom room design, no view, price, this is not a 5 star... it is a good 3 star
Honestly, there was nothing special for us in this hotel. Its name says five stars but the services and facilities are as three stars hotel. The bed, the blanket, couch, etc. was not good condition as five stars. Internet is highly charged. Front desk staff is not flexible/cooperative.
The hotel is nice, although I would not mark it as 5 star hotel. But location is great (next to Avenida Paulista), there are 2 rooms, spacious bathroom, small kitchen (I did not use it though) and small balcony. The bed was too soft in my opinion. Overall I can recommend this hotel, for the same price you can normally find only 3-4 star hotels further away from Avenida Paulista.
location was good.room was wide, consist of bedroom and living room with mini kitchen and bathroom.
Nothing for a 4 stars hotel bad bad Didnt like anything overprice and small bed I dont like bookin.com for having a hotel like this and telling people is a 4 stars
Location is good, value for money stay
the room was fairly big because of the living space but the kitchen was a waste of space since there was no microwave or pots/pans. the bathroom was nice and so was breakfast. very nice staff. the internet was good too. the rooms are very simple with old furniture and matresses that are a little uncomfortable. good value for budget travellers.
good location. breakfast was good. i saw lots of ants and when i opened my suitcase, i found some of them in it.
location noisy place
Close to subway stations, transportation and La Paulista (main street of the city). Although the hotel is small it has all the services one requires, the breakfast buffet is good and the staff helpful.
There was no hairdryer in the room and the hotel could not provide any at first.
In brief, we felt the front of office staff were well trained, helpful, courteous & friendly yet professional. Breakfast was varied with a selection of fruits, pastries, juices & cooked food products. The hotel offers a reliable WIFI connection throughtout. Our only issue was that the hotel could potentially benefit from modernisation.
The Staff The Hotel is not close to the Av. Paulista regarding to the adv!
The location was ok, although a little far from Paulista, and in a little sketchy neighborhood (alhtough filled with other hotels, so wasn't dangerous). The breakfast was perfect, no complaints on that.
Comfortable bed / Cama confortável. 1. Totally unheard of (and unacceptable) rule: visits have to fill in a form and are allowed in the room up to 30 minutes, after what a fee is charged. 2) Toilet flush is all but useless. 3) Very noisy (a request, made in the reservation, for a room in the less noisy back part of the hotel was unattended). 4) The area is somewhat unpleasant. 4) Área do hotel é desagradável.
The high service of quality. Everything was at my wish.
very nice staff , reasonable price, safe area
Thanks to Erik, Marcos,Elias, Avelardo, Armando and to all at Hotel Moncloa. They tried to help me with anything I needed, very proffessional and decent staff .They also give the guest info about the city etc, the cleaning service is excellent and keep your room neat and clean. The hotel is close to everything, metro, shopping centre and you can walk to the city center as well, never had a problem, very busy street but it is a safe area as well.
The hotel was fine and the service was friendly. The restaurant suggestions were on point. The shower was also fine with good water pressure. The internet signal was not especially strong and the neighborhood is not the safest at night.
The service and staff are excellent! Day shift guy even speaks a little english. Weekends there are bars and clubs up and down the street! They didn't have a 110v 3 plug for my laptop.
The hotel is located about 40 minutes from the airport. Walking distance to many fine restaurants/bars with outside cafes. Great breakfast buffet. Not really. The hotel is a bit old but well kept.
Good breakfast and dinner Furnishings in the room are too old when I booked this hotel iwas e- mailed a price of $880 and although I showed this to the receptionist she told me that the price was now over $900 and the she put onto someone on the phone who could not explain why the original cost I paid cash and I asked fro a receipt and the receptionist refuse to give it to me
clean, bus transport from airport stop opposite the hotel the swimming pool is very small, dirty, not inside; room dark and not nice; old building on the noisy street; staf speek very poor english
adequate, no more no less, but neighborhood is pretty scary
No Problem with hotel:noise, staff, etc. Good location & Easy access to Caneca (pronounce `kaneka`) 4 level shopping/dinner place, and easy walk to Paulista Ave/Consolacao Metro Stop. Weekends street full of noisy youth partying all over (its a kinky street scene, but else is there for them to do). Bus stop to all over is outside in front of hotel. Yes, I would stay there again, price/place/breakfast incl. is right.
Location Terrible dark rooms. Old, unclean bathrooms.
Very friendly staff, specially Mrs Alda :-) Nice small swimming pool on the roof. The appartment is quite comfortable and there is enough space for two people. Affordable price. The hotel is in a bad area. Extremely loud the whole night even during the week and even if you sleep with earplugs. Wi-fi costs additional, but just about 8 Reais per day which is actually ok.
its close to both central sao paulo and jardins, and offers excellent value for money
Pool on the roof. Free internet
great location, good value for money, helpful staff
Helpful staff. Spacious suites. Comfortable bed. Breakfast could be more varied. Sauna was out of order.
Good location. Spaciouse room. Rather clean. Good value for money paid. Out dated, very noisy, especially when windows are for Augusta street
Spacious room -- actually 4 rooms -- at a reasonable cost, with a large breakfast. Hotel is on "Airport Limousine Bus" circuit from Guarulhos Airport, so it's door-to-door for 30 brl. Paulista Avenue is a 5-minute walk up the hill, and a 2-minute walk behind the hotel, to Bela Cintra, finds excellent restaurants. Internet connection costs 8 brl per 24 hours. Full payment for 3 nights was requested upon check-in.
The location is really great. All the points of interest are reachable, The breakfast was very good.
The staff are tremendously gracious. It was so noisy it was impossible to sleep.
staff were pretty good, room was fine No english speaking staff, therefore difficult to get around
It's located in a safe district, and close to the subway station. It's located near a main crossroad. It's really noisy during the night. However, who can fall asleep without any concerns when he travels in such a dangerous country? Additionally, the facilities are outdated.
attended a conference no internet connection , only one computer at the reception , traffic noise - The only good thing about the hotel was its rich breakfast
and i cannot recieve a visit only at lobby i must ppay for two people location and is not 4 or 3 star this hotel not worth any star or reputasion for other costmer
Just leave your hands from this Hotel!!! I never have ssen a such dirty room with an horrible carpet insinde what is called a 4**** Hotel!!! Never we usually stayed in the Ibis Hotel 500 meters ahead, is was fully booked in paulista-same price much better!! I did not felt very safe in this hotel, the area was dodgy and crowed, they give me one of the oldest room-breakfast-the orange juice was yelllow collored water, I could not even say it is good when it would be a low budget price hotel-it is not either!! Leave your hands from this hotel, I moved out on the first night!!
I liked the location. But the best thing in this hotel was the breakfast. We got a perfect breakfast. Rooms were clean. Nobody speaks English and it was so noisy because it is located on one of the main street (for fun:)). If you want to stay one day, you must stay here.
Great staff, good breakfast and the room was clean and fine. Location is on the edge of a sketchy neighbourhood but seemed fine during the day and early evening. Location is a little iffy and like a lot of hotels in Brazil they charge for internet - should be like Argentina and provide free WiFi/internet as a now basic need when travelling.
Location The TV and the internet service
