Pros: Every staff member was very attentive. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived and since I was traveling solo it was nice to feel safe and welcomed. The location was the main reason I booked this hotel and it certainly was an idea spot to be at. Breakfast was very good and the overall treatment was beyond anything I’ve experienced. I loved the details in the room, the decor was absolutely gorgeous and the bathroom was a dream. My only complaint was the size of the room. Loved the little snacks they would leave on the bed after cleaning the room. They were also a big help while planning activities though out my stay, they helped me get a bus ticket, spa appointment and private tour around Marrakech. Everything was great. Thank you so much!

Pros: We liked everything about this place. The staff, the food, the room. Don't look further, this is the best place to stay! FYI, only eat in the hotel. If you eat anywhere else you are taking a gamble. Trust us, we got sick and the hotel did everything to make us comfortable. They were even able to find a doctor to come to our room. The hotel is clean, safe and beautiful. The staff and food is the best! I know this has nothing with the hotel but if you come to Morocco, bring plenty of Pepto Bismo.....they don't have it there. Avoid uncooked food, tap water and eating in restaurants not in your hotel.

Pros: The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and service impeccable. The roof terrace was delightful as was the seating area around the little pool. The décor and furnishings were very beautiful creating a lovely tranquil atmosphere. The staff helped us to find the best way to the market squares and advised on sightseeing, taxi travel etc and also provided a mobile phone to use in case we got lost (we didn't need this but it was a thoughtful gesture).

Pros: The staff was very professional assisting with all of our needs. The Riad is located within the walls of the Médina which makes the location challenging to find. The staff communicated how to find the Riad and assisted in getting the luggage to the door which we sincerely appreciated. Once at the Riad a phone was provided to us so we could call if we were lost in the Médina. Which illustrates the leave of services the staff provides. The Riad is a wonderful blend of elegant, relaxing comfort in a very hectic location. Once you enter the Riad you leave the noisy chaotic Médina behind. We had a very comfortable bed in a spacious room with a lovely roof top terrace for relaxing. The meals were excellent. We would love to return to this Riad.

Pros: This is a beautiful property with a huge staff
Cons: Despite their large number of staff and a wonderful property the constant inattention to details adversely affected my stay. A constant ‘we will deal with this later ‘ meant that no one accepted responsibility. Even a car service provided by the hotel was inexcusably late - maintenance issues in rooms were neglected and spoiled milk served at breakfast. Paying for quality presumes a quality delivered and I was most disappointed.
7.9 Good
Pros: Service of staff is really excellent. Breakfast on the terrace is great experience. Lots of friendly staff, e.g. Goufal Younnes spa piscine is a perfect host on the swimmingpool.
Cons: Nice building, but next to bussy highway; cant sleep with open window / balcony. Also, airplane noise. So not quit at all. Also the beautiful swimmingpool is full of chlorine / javel. It stinks and itches as a consequency. Breakfast: fresh fruit and vegetables are scarcely compared to the abundancy of over sugared products.

Pros: Location. Clean. Nice Decor.
Cons: The bottom room "Sonja" is extremely noisy! Staff had to be called to clean the room on two occasions.

Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: Coffee could be better very pleasant and convenient with helpful Staff on Reception
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff the most friendliest people I've ever met. Breakfast is a feast with so many things to choose from. Traditional decor and architecture, with rose petals everywhere, make you feel you've stepped into a little oasis of peace away from the bustling medina. Recommend Spa treatments too if you want a complete relaxtion experience.
Cons: Our particular room on the top floor did not have direct access to the roof terrace - to get to it you had to go down all the flights of stairs to reception just to go back up a different set to the roof. Be careful of your room allocation if you want to use the terrace and make sure you mention it on booking if you have difficulty with stairs like my mother. Walls are very thin and noise travels between rooms - we could hear every time our neighbours went to the bathroom late in the evening.

Pros: The staff was really nice and welcoming. Provided us with a lot of Information about the area and what to see. The room was really nice and we had 2 entrances, one of them leading to the rooftop terrace. safe was simple to operate. Excellent location and easy to get back to the riad without getting lost.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit small. The room size was perfect although getting around the edge of the bed was tight but it wasn't that bad. the breakfast was a definite miss. We didn't enjoy much of it. Maybe if we went down earlier, it would have tasted fresher or just better. Or maybe not

Pros: The staff is really nice and friendly. The riad is amazing and beautiful. Comfortable, clean, beautiful, excellent price.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: You can’t go there by car and there is no local phone number of the hotel on booking to ask for help if you have big luggage It’s a huuuuge hostel where no one cares to respect the rules, so it’s loud even at 2 am. The person at check in did not care about me at all, and didn’t want to except payment by card or via booking com, asked for cash which o didn’t have and there was no ATM near, the time was 23:10. I’m very disappointed, I don’t understand why place has such good rates

Pros: The property was large, and the rooftop provided a nice view of the city. The staff was friendly upon check in. It is conveniently located.
Cons: I booked a private room, and was unable to lock the door when I left ( but a safe was provided). It only locked from the outside. The room felt really musty -it smelt of mold, and like it needed to be aired out. The hostel was pretty emtpty- not a social hostel vibe. The breakfast was basic.

Cons: Nobody slept in the right bed or used the right locker assigned by the reception Hostel was very deep into the medina that was dark and scary for a woman

Pros: A feast for the senses, the Dada’s food delicious, the room and bathroom was spotless and well cared for, the Hamman Scrub was an experience that you will remember as it is totally traditional, the surroundings of the hotel are a real earthy Marrakech experience of the old town, the rooftop restaurant is a traditional Moroccon open space and you can enjoy relaxing with mint tea poured from high. What made this Riad a place to stay was the staff, Houssain trying to teach me Berber, Mohammed’s exceptional service and quality of English as my Arabic and French are limited. The hotel organised Yasin to pick us up from reception and he took us on a motorised pedal bike/buggy with rugs covering our knees.....all through the Souks, old town, new town, desert, camels, dates, perfumes...we saw it all. The staff make this Hotel what it is and you can expect to have a Real Taste of Marrakech from Dar El Aila.

Pros: The terrace and service of the waitresses.
Cons: The room is not well isolated and you can hear the noise on the street and inside the hotel too. Also, they didn't advise prior to our stay that there were internal construction works and it was really annoying. Additionally the room had holes everywhere so the mosquitoes got inside all the time.
The worst thing is that when we were doing the checkout, they wanted to charge us for a meal and drinks that we didn't order. After you order something they never give you a receipt to sign it, so it's very difficult to carry on an efficient control over the guest's orders. So the manager told us that we were lying and he got so angry that he broke the bill in front of us saying he was right, even though he couldn't prove it. He yielded to us and gave us a really bad time, even my girlfriend got scared because he was very agressive at some point. Bad bad service!

Cons: We coped with the property being situated over two adjoining buildings and the myriad of winding staircases with high and low tiled stairs, at times it made it a tad difficult for us as they were both steep and twisted. We found the beds very hard and asked for more padding and the staff organised that immediately yet we still found them hard. We assumed this is Marrakech and went with the flow. Whilst there the credit card facilities were not working, this caused some issues however between the staff and ourselves we found a work around.

Pros: Very nicely decorated Riad.
Cons: It says public parking available, but it is really far and complicated to reach. Explanations how to find the way to Riad and where to park where not possible to find on Google maps. Why booking.com allows properties to say they have parking when they do not have parking or even access by car? It is then useless and misleading information.

By the time she arrived, it was already time for us to check out. It didn’t make sense to pay half the price of the room to have a late check out so we decided to talk to the ladies at the reception and guess what? They gave us 2 hours in the room for my sister in-law to quickly change and also clean up my little nephew Aaron. I was to fly out the same day so I kept my bags with them at the lobby and entered Ménara mall to while away time and have lunch before ebb heading out to the airport. I didn’t have to take any taxi or walk for too long be cause Ménara mall shares the same fence with Savoy. Isn’t that great??? Like just entering the bathroom from your your room... Lol...

Cons: I was very upset about how I was treated initially when I turned up with a Moroccan friend. He was treated appallingly as a second class citizen. He essentially wasn't allowed in the hotel.

Pros: The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was celebrating my birthday and was surprised with a birthday cake in my room which was lovely. One of the managers at reception (sorry I can't remember her name) arranged a restaurant on my actual birthday with a car arranged to take us to the restaurant. The restaurant was nice but I was very disappointed that I wasn't wished a happy birthday or get a cake in the restaurant.... another manager called Mina arranged dinner at another restaurant on our last night which was lovely. The managers and staff were very helpful and accomodating.

Pros: Fantastic massage in the spa, lovely scent in reception and superb location
Cons: The waiter picked the most expensive wine off the menu, however management were very good at sorting out the issue and provided a discount. Just be careful when you order!

Cons: 1.We initially waited a while for the room and from what we could see from the discussion at reception there seemed to be some miscommunication about something... but we were offered a cocktail whilst we waited for the room. 2. The door lock to the balconey in the room was broken.... we were offered a room on the 5th floor but that was too near the music at the rooftop bar so we stayed in the same room. We were told someone would fix the lock the next day.... but they didn't and so we had to stay and put a chair behind the door just to feel safe. 3. The water in the shower was luke warm (when it should be hot)... the hotel were maintaining the water system which was shut off overnight one day and during the evening on one day. We weren't able use the water to wash/shower/brush our teeth for a good few hours. 4. I enjoyed the breakfast but some of the hot food was cold! My partner did not like the breakfast but they made a nice omelette for us every day, which was the only thing he liked!

Pros: Great location, lovely and clean rooms and the most amazing staff - was they were friendly and very helpful :) we had such a lovely time staying here :)))

Pros: Staff were friendly property clean
Cons: You can hear the desk agent arguing over the phone with housekeeping to get the rooms ready. Breakfast was limited. No good signage for the property to recognize it

Pros: The staff were very helpful, proactive and smiley. Location is great. Good size rooms, great bed mattress.the receptionists helped me book different restaurants, called me in the room to confirm all the time the bookings. Very friendly people!! Fast email responses to any request. Me and all my friends overall enjoyed this hotel!
Cons: No indoor pool. Balcony door could not close it fully, was broken. No music channels. The furniture a bit worn out. They provide different cars as taxis but you need to negotiate your own price ( towards the airport), 100 MAD is ok for the airport trip, one way. Found Hairs on the floor in the bathroom as I just came in.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good - walking distance to all popular sights. Many restaurants nearby - most of them really expensive. Room overall was relatively modern and had everything we needed.
Cons: We stayed on the 6th floor - right under the bar - the music blasting until after midnight was an issue. Was difficult to relax with that nightclub vibe. Breakfast was poor - way too many pastries (with birds freely pecking at it), not enough any kind of decent savoury options. The lady on the omelette station needs some training - kept serving me raw eggs which we could not eat. Half way through the trip we stopped going there for breakfast as there simple was not anything that did not contain sugar or was actually fresh. Most importantly the staff and customer service was not a highlight for us. My partner described the staff as moody. Every time you ask something you can feel that they are annoyed for being disturbed which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Finally - pool was odd. Surrounded by windows so does not feel private or relaxing. Sun is always blocked by the building - so realistically you only get sun for a couple of hours a day. One of the days sat by the pool for 3 hours. No one asked if we wanted any drinks or anything.... Definitely not the worst hotel but you would expect more from something with that many stars......

Pros: Breakfast was plenty. Staff friendly and room clean
Cons: Lack of electric points to charge phone etc
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Quite expensive for what you go and just not over welcoming. The aircon just blew out hot air The bathroom soap appliance wasn’t fixed to the wall correctly and kept coming off The shower didn’t seem powerful enough Satellite TV had 2 English channels

Cons: Firstly, weeks before my arrival I tried many times to get in contact with the hotel about their airport pick up service since I had selected it. I tried once a week for 4 weeks to tell them yet again I wanted it and my flight time. Not once did I ever get a reply. And when I arrived they were nowhere to be found.
Their wifi was awful downstairs. Couldn't enjoy talking to my parents down by the pool when I've been gone for so long. Had to go upstairs to my room which was ok since the ac worked well just wish I had been able to be at the pool. When headed to the Medina the man behind the front desk gave really bad instructions that were not correct. Along the way I had to ask several locals who ended up getting me to the right spot - the hotel doesn't provide maps. When checking out a different man working the front desk demanded I owed 60+dhs for "other fees" with the hotel. I asked him to show me where and he couldn't find where. I showed him my receipt from Kayak that I owed 0 and he said I still did and I couldn't leave. Not sure if this was a scam but it ticked me off because if this was true, it wasn't not brought to my attention on Kayak nor when I checked in. I still have a weird feeling since he wasn't able to show me. When I asked the same man what the price was for the bus from Marrakech to Merzouga he kept insisting there wasn't such bus when I knew for a fact there was. He then gave me "directions" on how to walk to the bus station since I didn't want to take yet another scamming taxi. The directions he gave went in the complete opposite way when I double checked on Google Maps before exiting- since the other guys directions were off. Not happy with the staff at all.

Cons: The hotel generally looked old and could use refurbishment. The window frames and doors looked shabby, and the key card didn't function very well, we had to try a few times before the card actually opened the door. There was dust in the corners in a room that was supposed to have just been cleaned. The linens and towels were worn out, they felt coarse on the skin but they were clean enough. Mini fridge in the room had absolutely nothing in it, no water or any other drinks. No tea or coffee in the room - these should be standard in a 4-star hotel The only toiletry in the bathroom was some liquid soap in the shower area - again not great for a 4-star property The toilet and the bathroom were separated, but the bidet was in the bathroom part. Not very convenient. The reception charged us around 2.5 euros per page to get some print outs, yes they did help by printing these out for us, but this charge felt a bit gratuitous
5.4 Okay
Pros: It is close to the airport for late arrivals and the pool area looks great as does the cafe outside and the staff were helpfull. Close to the shopping mall.
Cons: We landed at 1am and needed somewhere near the airport before moving to the old town later that day. The hotel position is great for that and the ouside facilities are fantastic but the interior is dark and very tired and dated. A coat of paint and some new furnishings would be a huge upgrade.

Pros: The taxi dropped us off in the main square in Laarousse, he did not know where the Ryad was. After a long 15 min walk by a local who took us down side streets he brought us there. He was demanding 200 Mad but we only gave him 20 Mad as we feel he took us a long way. it turned out that he did and our Ryad was only a 2 min walk from the small square. On entering the Ryad we met the receptionist Soukiana. From the start she was so professional and helpful. Any query we had she sorted it right away. We could not say enough about her help. All other staff were lovely also and it gave us a family feel. Our rooms were lovely and had everything we needed. The lounges on the roof and pools were great. Ryad Laarousse is a central location in Medina and you really get the feel of the Local Culture.

Pros: Staff bent over backwards to help and make sure we were safe, and not over charged. Not only with trips but also when they met us at shops away from the hotel. We ate dinner there two of the three nights, the food is cooked fresh, really tasty. Prices were same as the restaurant we visited. They cattered vegetarian dishes which were not on the menu . You can order your meal an hour before you wish to eat giving you time to relax after a day sight seeing. The hotel is pretty central to both old and new city.

Pros: The staff are really friendly and kind. The location was good and the rooftop are TOP! Everything was good :)
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome and beautifully decorated rooms. Rooms kept very clean, with added ammenites of a fridge and extra blankets and good air conditioning. Breakfast very good, and available when stated! Great views from the Terrace.
Cons: If staying on the top floor expect to be woken up by the call to prayer each morning at 6am. Reception not available before 10am.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff bent over backwards to help and make sure we were safe, and not over charged. Not only with trips but also when they met us at shops away from the hotel. We ate dinner there two of the three nights, the food is cooked fresh, really tasty. Prices were same as the restaurant we visited. They cattered vegetarian dishes which were not on the menu . You can order your meal an hour before you wish to eat giving you time to relax after a day sight seeing. The hotel is pretty central to both old and new city.
Cons: As work was being carried out it was very dusty. Rooms warm but decor was tired.
This charming hotel is set in Marrakech. With a total of 14 accommodation units, this is a nice place to stay. This is not a pet-friendly accommodation.

Pros: The location was great and the rooftop bar/restaurant was very good.
Cons: The room was small, dark and airless - the air conditioner seemed to work but did not actually cool the air down. They took away our towels while we were at breakfast so we couldn't wash or shower before we checked out.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Very close to the busiest places in central Marrakech, only a short walk away. Relaxing and pretty garden and pool full of bird song. Staff very helpful especially those on the entrance gate.

Pros: Location perfect for visit the city. Free parking. Try to get a room on second floor with view of pool. Big and clean room. Pool clean and big. Garden beautiful. No loud bars or poolmusic, so good for relax. Price (60 Euro/night) appropriate. I would come back.

Pros: The building's interior is a bit outdated, but all facilities are available, properly working and clean (i.e. hot showers). Great variety of breakfast options, Moroccan and French. The hotel is quite big and I reckon they have quite a turnover, so it is admirable that they maintain this fair standard. Dont expect paradise, but it is a good choice if you wish to be close to the sightseeing spots as well as waking up to quietness and breakfast in the garden.
