Lots of things to do right on the property. Huge property, rooms are nice and the bar is good. Is awesome for family reunions or business conferences. The location is great for all the things to do in the springs. Bit of a creepy vibe with the 10 commandments on a huge obelisk at the front door.
We had our family reunion at this hotel. The staff worked well with our family and provided us a room that could hold most of us. My husband and I upgraded our room to "premium" which allowed us to visit the hospitality suite for breakfast and during the evening for snacks. This was worth it to us and the staff hosts were wonderful. The small indoor playground helped our kiddos get the wiggles out, but we wished it was a bit bigger so that it could hold larger crowds. Our room was oddly shaped with a small doorway leading to the bathroom. The room was worn out and needed TLC. The electrical outlets were iffy at best. I plugged a hair dryer in one, and the lights went off. Another plug was so loose fitting that nothing could stay plugged in as it would fall out. You can easily get lost in this hotel. The layout is confusing, and there are no shortcuts. I tried! Just when you think you are going the right way, you instead discover that you need to backtrack and try again. The pools are heated, but cold! Brrrr! We turned into Popsicles after 30 minutes of swimming. (And their pool towels are teeny tiny.) it was great to see our family, but we all agreed that maybe this hotel wasn't the best fit for us.
I did like the pool // hot tub Terrible customer service & they ripped me off. Not as nice pictures are old.vm
The staff was very helpful. Trash in the room when we checked in. Poor internet connection. Noisy dog in the next room.
convenient location no coffee maker in the room. 1/2 mile from room to lobby. tiny/cramped bathroom.
No microwave or fridge. Hot tub was closed and didn't give notice
The front desk was extremely friendly and very kind. Also our room and the service was wonderful. The fact that we were there for a helicopter ride and your website said the shuttle would take us to the airport and when we got there they said it was too far. Also the bar tender kept forgetting our drinks.
Great room, good price and delicious cookies at the desk.
Staff was nice and polite. They offered us water and I warm cookie which was very appreciated in the cold weather. My husband wanted a room that was very quiet. It was definitely quiet and comfortable. They called the room to make sure that we are happy with it after we checked in. We did not require room service, so they left us a note saying that they would be available if we did need them. It felt like they really cared about the customer and you don't see that much anymore. I will definitely stay at the Doubletree again in the future. Thank you.
We enjoyed the happy hour and the pool while we were here and liked the size and layout of our room. Check-in was easy as well without issues. We experienced a very uncomfortable security issue because of other adult guests while at the pool. The hotel was slow to react to our concerns and did not offer us any compensation. The safety of my children is paramount, so we will never stay here again.
I liked the location and the hotel was very nice.I will stay there again if i go back. We were not able to get a king size bed. I guess there were not enough in the motel.
Great value. Nothing comes to mind.
Everyone was very nice and helpful! They were more then willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I loved it and I will definitely come back! Our air messed up but other then that no complaints
Nice, new hotel. Good location. Easy walk to convention area and numerous entertainment and food places.
quiet and comfortable and close to visiting my Mom in assisted care facility. Thank you!
Very nice stay and very friendly & helpful staff!
Room was clean and beds were comfortable
Staff was great after kayak.com/hotels.com screwed up my reservation My reservation was never made but kayak charged me.
Breakfast was good and fresh each day. All the rooms were supposed to have been remodeled by the time we got there. I guess they had been booked in the room we had so only half the hotel was finished. Was a bit disappointed, but the rooms were nice
This is a great hotel. The staff are friendly and helped us alot. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Only things I didn't like were the parking lot. There are a couple obstacles to climb over, and there Is no elevator.
Location Price Bad WIFI connection Uncleaned hallways Small breakfast area Small common space in lobby
Everything was fine. Some reviews said it wasn't very clean or the bathroom not good, but it was all pretty standard.
Stayed in the 2 room suite which gave us the room we wanted. Thought it was weird there was no microwave in the suite though. The door separating the rooms was great. The king bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included...though not a huge spread the waffles were good. Didn't seem overly clean. Needs some TLC (fresh paint, updating, new furniture, etc). For $220/night figured we'd get a nicer place. Didn't like that there was no microwave in the room. Elevators took forever.
Liked the location. It is near restaurants within walking distance. Room was very clean. I would stay here again. I was ill the day we arrived and tried to check in a little after 1PM (check in is 3PM), so I could lay down. I was told no rooms were available until 3PM and after so I had to wait. And when I did check in later, after getting up to my room received a call from front desk that my credit card had declined. To straighten out I had to call my credit card company which gave me the confirmation number for the room charge as my card had not declined.
Everything was great. Good value for the money. The coffee in the breakfast room is terrible. Clean the coffee pots!
The heater created a room full of smoke and set off the smoke alarm. When I called down to the front desk they said that happens every once in a while and didn't seem concerned. When we checked out (they did comp the room) we asked why it didn't trigger a master alarm in the office or front desk. They thought that it should have but didn't and asked the maintenance person to check it out. We left quickly.
Did not lke Old fashioned
I liked this place because it's in the middle of everything and haveing my vehical next to my room covered parking is a plus. And can't beat the price also very nice family owned place. Everyone was so helpful.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, and the TV had a good channel selection. In addition, Mike, the owner, was very kind and accommodating.
A nice enough hotel. The manager called to verify that we were still arriving.
My husband and I stayed in Stagecoach motel for 5 nights. Room is clean, location is close to everywhere in town. Wifi is ok. Bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean. Covered carport next to room. Room heater is warm enough and extra queen bed in the small room. Overall, It good valued.
Two method addict's were fighting all night in tgevroom next to mine.... Two meth heads were fighting!..
The cleanliness was superb. The room was a decent value, for the most part. I have never felt more uncomfortable at a motel or hotel in my life. It was clear the owner had something against younger people. Multiple times she walked past our window, trying to peek in. As we exited the room, we were asked countless times whether we had a pet or not - in a very rude tone. As a respectful young adult, this was so highly offensive and uncomfortable that within an hour of being there I decided to let them keep the nights money, check out and find a new room. Especially offensive because I did not have a pet at all and it didn't make sense that I would be interrogated like a criminal as I opened the door to the manager standing there. If safety in town is a concern, then please choose a different location. After speaking to another guest as I was leaving, she informed me that someone had asked her if she was a "working woman." That alone helped me realize the side of town I was in. Honestly, if you want a good value and value your safety (and want to be in the center of everything) check out the Super 8 Garden of the Gods.
Covered carport. Extra bed. Nothing
It had a small town feel, very friendly and welcoming As a young single woman I was a little hesitant about the area but I had no issues. The bathroom was also fairly dirty. I wouldn't stay again.
Doesn't matter, got laid.
The owner was precious!! It was like going to visit a relative. She was helpful about ideas for things to do.You have a carport to park your car in. Very quiet with easy access to the interstate. The neighborhood is lower income. You have two rooms and a bathroom, the second room is very small.
They have attached garages between each unit so your vehicle stays out of the weather and you don't hear your next door neighbors!
Staff were rude. Came in the wee hours of the morning. Did not have me fill out all proper paper work including car, make, model license plate numbers! Parking lot filled almost overflowing! Parked next to another vehicle. No "no parking" signs visible. Went out later and my car was GONE! They had my car towed away...said it was blocking another car??? Cost $275.00 to get it back. NO recourse if I wanted the car back. Tow cost more thane the 3 night stay I pre-paid.No refund there either! Plus it is in a high crime area of town. They should be ashamed of themselves. Will NEVER stay at a Howard Johnson's again! Don't go there!!!
The pool was the only good thing to speak of.
Old food left in in the fridge nasty hair ball in the shower missing light bulbs room smelled like cigarettes I guess that's what you get for 50 bucks Crackheads and hookers in the parking lot
The room was clean Bad location, outside of the building looks rough, shady characters hanging around at street corner and in parking lot, "free continental breakfast" consists of coffee and a danish.
The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Granted it is located in a bad area of town, but that was never an issue. I feel that it was a good value for the money. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. I was satisified,
Location is great. Snarly counter girl at 1 pm on May 27. Room was musty and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The beds were horrendous, the mattresses were lumpy, the support was creaky,....
Nothing Front desk is rude hotel is filthy carpet and chair was stained my mom wouldn't walk barefoot none of us would even sleep under the covers walls had scrapes and tear things were worn ripped and tore up there was for of us and room only had 2 towels when we asked for 2 more front desk said that we could only get them after turning in our current 2 towels to the maids and we couldn't do that till 10am and it was 7am
I liked checking out and the fact my car wasn't broken into the staff was very friendly. The parking lot was thought out by imbeciles, the carpets left black stains on my son's bare feet, they knew I had three people in the room yet constantly left only two towels. Prostitutes on the corner nightly & in rooms with their johns. Only way way to get into the location is off the interstate unless you want to do a tour of the shady side of the city.No microwave or fridge if your a smoker; apparently we can't be trusted these.
Friendly staff. Construction made it hard to get to but not their fault.
Leaving Cleanliness of rooms. When I expressed room was dirty, was told to contact Kayak for refund and told it would be approved. I ended up not getting a refund even though we left without staying.
Expect a cheap place to stay and all the challenges of a cheap place including prostitutes and rough looking crowd. Place was in bad shape with rough full time residents. We stacked the two chairs in front of the door when we went to bed for extra security. Beds were probavly the original that were put in when it was built. We had to unplug the light because of exposed wires. We were easily the smartest two people in the place I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Location was easy to find. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and smelled clean. Wireless internet had a low connection speed but worked ok. Bed was harder than we are used to. Heating was nice and toasty as we were here in cooler weather. Hot water did not run out even when taking extended showers. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan but did have a small window for ventilation. A couple of nights the rooms upstairs were rented to families with young children and the foot steps on the ceiling was a little annoying after a while. Guess that comes with the territory though. We had family visit our room and they commented what a nice room we had, much better than the room they had stayed in here in town at a different hotel. All in all I feel we got a good deal for the money and had a very nice stay. If price is a factor with you I would absolutely recommend this hotel as I feel we received an excellent value.
Stayed and found it to be what I wanted and what I needed.
the room was in realy bad shape. The electric outlets sparked when ever u plugged anything in them. The bed cover had ciggaret burns in it. The room smelled strong of ciggaret smoke. The toilet rocked when u sat on it. The owner was a complete jerk and wanted to charge me an extra $17 to wash 3 towles. we got in an argument and he left the counter.
Upon arriving, I had asked for a 2nd level room. I got a 1st level. The TV was vey staticy, the bathtub drain did not drain, the sink did not drain, the toilet and sink were really old and yucky. There was no alarm clock, or blowdrier. I told the mgr about the drains the next day and he said they fixed them, meaning they already knew about the problem and let me stay in there anyhow, They were still not draining either. The room was loud with a busy road next to it and a very loud train near by. Cheap but you get what you paid for.... not much.
This hotel and every hotel on south Nevada street is in the largest crack and dope area in springs. There s ants crawling on the wall and in the beds and the maids don't pick up all the trash around the room. The air conditioner is broke and its a disgusting place with no service. I have stayed in almost every hotel in springs and I strongly advise against any hotel on south Nevada and the extended stay. They are not worth it. I have lost money twice now just to avoid this hotel.
The beds had lumpy pillows, the bathtub fixtures were backwards, the shower was wimpy, housekeeping consisted of towel changes. If I stay there again it'll be because of the fantastic staff who were super friendly and helpful.
Have stayed several tlmes, have found it an enjoyble stay. Great Pool. three great places to dine within walking distance
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating but the non-smoking rooms that our party stayed in were not completely smoke-free. All of our clothes smelled like smoke when we arrived at home. Since we observed some guests smoking in front of the adjacent rooms, perhaps there is a ventilation problem that needs to be corrected.
I've stayed there twice in the past year and found the rooms clean, comfortable and reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return.
the bathroom light in room 118 wouldnt come on, hotel matenance said they fixed it and never did. I would Not stay there again.

Close to where I needed to be Little dirty
Price This hotel was a little on t he scary side; however it did have a nice pool. It looks like folks actually live there. Furniture is old and room had a smell.
Nothing staff was very rude lady informed me i could not have my service dog then there was no available rooms to ok i guess you can check in. And not even by 8 am was informed we need to check out someone else researved room drug dealers next door
I guess the room seemed clean-ish though I wasn't going to be too confident in that fact. This is in a horrible part of town. There is a liquor store next to the motel and people who may or may not be vagrants outside. Kind of felt like we might get stabbed if we were outside the room. The room smelled like cigarette smoke.
The space No
The kitchenette and the price Basic cleanliness could be improved
It was near where we wanted to be on our trip to see family. No coffee, curtains not darken, dirty,Wifi spotty.Linens had hairs so asked for change.Kids put blankets on floor then on bed. When I woke the next morning,I noticed small exoskeletons in my bed.I got bedbug bites. Mngr said were beetles.(in clean linen?)

Nothing Many people were sleeping in cars in the parking lot. we were put in a room with no security lock and were put next to people who were 'residing' at the hotel.kids were allowed to run and scream till all hours, staff did nothing.

It was very affordable, clean, it had all the amenities, (provided you bring your own cookware and dishes) for an extended stay, and the staff was laid back. The curtains let in more light than I would've liked and there were no blinds or other means of covering it, for privacy or comfort. The door to my room specifically was crooked and did not seal very well, which let in a good deal of noise - people walking by, cars pulling in or out and Hwy noise because my room was facing Hwy 24 East. But, as I said, it was one night for business, and the price was very fair.
There is absolutely nothing good to report except that I was not murdered after staying here and was able to leave alive. Food, body fluids and cheese all over the walls and lamps. Furniture is all broken. Air reeks of mold and smoke. Door lock and handle broken and appear to have been broken into multiple times. I had to use a chair to barricade the door to make sure the crack dealers outside would not break in as easy. No way to throw out trash (no garbage cans). No phone. Wifi is up to the standard of the 1990s 56k modem. Grafitti on the walls. I paid over $50 for this nasty slum.
