The location in a lovely part of Buenos Aires, design of the hotel public rooms and guest rooms, and staff were all excellent.
The facade of the hotel is nothing special- a 19 or 20 story brick building; however, the lobby is very pretty with spiral staircases and marbe pillars. The rooms are a good size and very clean. They charge for the internet, for the water in the room, for the coffee machine in the room, and they charged me $20 US dollars for a collect call to my credit card company. Given that this is one of the more expensive hotels in Buenos Aires, this type of nickel and diming of guests is offensive. When you enter the hotel there are always 5 or 6 people waiting to open the door, yet when I could not set up the wireless connection and was connected to the business center,no one answered the phone-prefer having good service rather than the appearance of good service. The gym, which is advertised as state of the art, consists of a few treadmills and bikes and a universal machine and a few dumbells.Shower took 15 mins to get warm.
Everything was perfect. Concierge was outstanding.
The service was rich, you feel home There were some troubles sometimes with the lifts, nothing really bothering but total quality is still part of the luxury service they have to offer
Location No views at all. Breakfast included and was supposed to open at 6:30 but still no hot entrees by 6:50.
The beds are old
Great room for the price
the location is very good They gave us a very small and noisy room compared with the rest of the rooms that had the same prize. The staff were not very helpful, I asked them for a hairdresser and they couldnt direct me to one, I also had an emergency and need batteries and they couldnt help me either. They told us when we arrived that breakfast was included and then when we were leaving they charged us for it. In the reservation the breakfast wasnt included but since the receptionist mentioned it, we just believed her and then paid an enormus amount of money for it. There is no iron on the rooms, so you have to pay to get your clothes ironed.
The breakfast is very nice, and the facilities are very beautiful. The room was spacious. The hotel is centrally located in a safe area of Buenos Aires. Without being asked, I was placed in a SMOKING room. I am a non-smoker and deeply dislike the smell of tobacco. Although the room did not stink the hallways did. It took two complaints to have my room changed.
The room's confort that it was not possible to have a soup of the menu during room service time.
Great location, really good value for the price, helpful staff, fair dollar to peso exchange rate at reception, good park view from upper floors, 12th floor room was very quiet, in room on the 6th floor we could sometimes hear quests in adjacent rooms, clean hot showers and bath tub. Never had WiFi problems. Would recommend and will be back Breakfast a little expensive if not provided with room price but has a large selection of items. Taxis hailed on the street at about half the price of remise ordered by front desk.
The room was clean and the bed very confortable
The staff was very polite and kind; we got an upgrade to a luxury room that was excellent! The hotel is clean, the room is cozy and modern, the location is perfect, near the major shopping streets. Breakfast is a plus, with a good variety of food that is well made and fresh. An excellent choice for anyone going to Buenos Aires, definitely would stay again! Nothing, everything was perfect.
Kind people at reception and services; localization 1 - lack of energy for two nights left the rooms without air conditioning and light; to fix theenergy entrance cable was a task for the hotel that lost time to identify the problem and contract maintenance - no compensation given fo this fault: we expected a discount in rates for these two nights...but not.
The remolding was very nice and they now have a full time restaurant. All staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had to extend stay due to illness and required late room cleaning and it was no problem and met cheerfully. At Plaza hotel 3 months ago, if you were not out of your room by 2pm, forget having it cleaned or fresh towels and that claims to be a 5 star. The room is large, mini suite at a near economy price. You can spend a lot more at other hotels for little difference and you can spend a little less and get a lot less. Our room is 3 times the size for only $20 per day difference than the last ostensible 4 star. This hotel borders on 5 star. Not the best location for business but nice for sightseeing.
The Feirs park was very central for our needs, quite spacious, and very handy to shopping, restaurants and transport hubs. Good buffet breakfast and good room facilities.
breakfast buffet is good on 3rd floor Gym on 22nd flor is good, weights and running machines although parks are close pool is under renovation for next three months beds are comfortable but no sweet sleeper like in usa order premium taxi - which is good, but its twice price. quiet hotel ripoff of premium taxi ordering service 140 ARS peso for two coffees in reception one business screen in sheraton link
Very convenient location, very helpful staff.
Location was central and with easy access; Social areas were big and confortable; Some problems in room maintenance and the hotel staff took too much time to solve them
Location, staff, breakfast, parking for large cars Towels in bad condition. Carpets with spots
The staff The price you consign das not inckude the taxes., please sean the total prices
our room was clean and the hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel had internet facilites which werre fast and we were also able to print at nil cost. We were very happy with the variety offered in their buffet beakfast, the waiters spoke English and were polite. unfortunately, staff are not familiar with lactose intolerance condition, therefore when we requested soy milk as a substitute for milk, we were given low fat milk. Other places in Buenos Aires and Cordoba also do not cater for this, including Starbucks.
Room was large. Plenty of storage space. Bed was comfortable. Staff helpful (although very laid back and never in a hurry!). Close to a busy street with plenty of cafes etc. Good breakfast. Like most hotels noise from the corridor was loud and it appears people socialise a lot later in South America and are noisy when they come in - a lot of talking at high volume.
