Location was perfect We needed a new remote control for tv and staff ca,e up immediately. All staff was by friendly Our room desperately needs new mattresses. 11018 as soon as you walked in you could tell because of the lumps. Everything else was wonderful.

After paying over 300 hundred a night, they ofer you a view upgrade for an extra 40 a night, which is fine is a beautiful view of the harbor, but you have to pay an extra 30 dollars a day to park your car. And when I ask the offer me the internet for free but since the person that checked me in was not there they tried to backed out of it saying that there was no way they could give it to me for free because it was 15 more a day. The people at front desk were very, very rude. Except when you are checking in and they are trying to sell you something.

I liked the bikes for use, the game room, the lounge/cafe/restaurant. I also appreciate the stage for community engagement and fitness room. The room itself was small but had a large, luxurious bathroom. It didn't have a business center. I had to ask the front desk attendant to print items for me. Parking was additional and somewhat expensive.

Great price for the location and on a weekend too!! Room was facing street which was very noisy for 6am- 9am on a Saturday, trash pickup, street cleaning and another loud construction truck nearby but otherwise no complaints on behalf of the hotel staff or facilities!
All staff were extremely friendly. Valet (Jody) went above and beyond to assist and always had a smile on his face. Decor is appealing and modern, the rooms were spacious and nicely done. Pets are allowed however if you are traveling without a pet you would never know dogs are in the building in regards to cleanliness and the occasional bark. Close proximity to all attractions. Elevator security features were a plus. Would definitely stay again Bedding had stains, no mini fridge or microwave in the room, check-in a little awkward
The urban element There was limited hot water in the shower at times. Having some sort of room service would be nice.
- location and fun atmosphere - nice tv - great amenities like bikes to rent and live music - easy to book - awesome soap in a very large bathroom - tile floor in bathroom with no door to bathroom and hardwood in entrance and around the bed. easy to clean. - made to look modern and minimal - GF claimed to be bitten by bed bugs. - The potatoes with the RL breakfast were soggy and the egg whites in the skinny scramble were under cooked. - closet was odd with downward sloping hangers too small for business jackets, no dressers. - too few electrical outlets. in order to charge your phone you had to place it under the tv all outlets next bed were overloaded with phone lamp and alarm clock.
We really enjoyed our stay. The layout and design of their "lobby" was very modern with an industrial twist to the decor. They don't have the typical imposing front desk. Instead staff meets you at the door with a tablet and checks you in. The elevators are extra secure with room key only access. There is valet parking which is extra, but well worth it as we would have spent the same or thereabouts at a parking garage. Our room was amazing and nicely decorated. Excellent bed, excellent shower, but next time we will bring a cooler. Our room had a great view and was very close to the venue at Rams Head Live where we were headed. The next day there was a great band playing in the lobby so we stayed longer for that too. Most of all their staff was incredible!!! They were always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to do anything for you. That includes the maid in the elevator who gave us the history of the building and the head engineer who was helping out in their great bar/restaurant when they were way overloaded with people. Great experience from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back.
Stayed in a huge king bed room. Lots of empty space that could have been filled with a couch and coffee table with the TV in front of it. But they chose to place the TV to the right side of the bed making it awkward to watch. With this tiny one person mini couch directly under the TV. ..What the point of that? The front desk staff need a little more training. And a button or something indicating that they work there. They're all in regards clothes. A guy looking to check in thought I worked there when I went down to see what was the hold up on the extra towels I called down for 2 hours prior.
Large comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. No closet, shelves or drawers, so no place to put things like laundry out of sight! No desk (although when I inquired they brought up a small table and chair that worked OK). Instead of the Murphy bed (which I had no use for) I would prefer a desk and dresser or cupboard.
I couldn't have asked for more from the Red Lion. Gorgeous rooms, wood floors (a HUGE plus for me because of my allergies), a shockingly short walk to the Charm City Circulator's Purple line, wonderful and warm staff who go beyond the call of duty, and all for a very low last minute price!! I am also very picky about hotel beds as I have a bad back but this bed was everything I wanted. Not to mention all of the communal amenities I simply did not have a chance to check out because my trip was short! There is, apparently, a 24 hour gym and the lobby seems to be a wonderful place to relax, socialize, and create a sense of a hotel community. The Red Lion seems equiped to foster vacation friendships one would expect of an extended resort stay on an island somewhere, despite the fact that it is located in the heart of Baltimore. If anyone I know ever needs a hotel in Baltimore, I will insist they stay at the Red Lion. Honestly, my only qualm was that I only booked a room for one night. Had I known how wonderful my accommodations would be, I may have extended my trip! Oh, and a full body mirror would be nice, but its absence was in no way a deal breaker.

Everything. Staff was SUPER friendly! The room was more than we expected. Enjoyed the decor. Parking was easy and included. Breakfast was served to our room on time. . Placing as our number 1 place to stay when we come back to Baltimore.
Hotel and room was clean, good value for price. Nice sized. Maid knocked and removed the privacy thing from the key slot to unlock the door when we were getting ready/showering which is why we had the do not disturb/privacy thing in the door. Luckily we had the deadbolt on or she would've barged in because we couldn't hear her the first time with the water running. Also upon check out, our receipthad my name vbut someone else's address on it and we discovered they paid about $30 less than us. We foundthis unprofessional.
It was the location of my work conference, therefore I could pop downstairs easily in the morning. Upon check-in the front desk manager-in-training was quite rude when I nicely asked her if they had a king bed room available. Proceeded to talk down to me with very little respect and rolling her eyes. Even her colleagues seemed afraid of her. Had I paid for the hotel (and not my employer) I would have followed up. When I called room service to ask them for toilet paper, they gave me only one roll; and I even tipped well. On day of checkout someone knocked once on my door and proceeded to immediately open it at 7:30am (checkout is not until 12, mind you) waking me up and the door hitting the privacy lock hard. All she said was "checking out". I stated, yes- but not at 7:30 and closed the door. Completely terrible way to end my stay there. Upon conclusion of checking out, the same manager-in-training as was there initially gave me attitude when I AGAIN NICELY asked about the parking pass (as I had a certain days pass which was still valid yet the exit machine was attempting to charge me). I was quite nice about it, indicating that my final conference had just concluded and that my employer had covered the cost for the parking. She stated, "well it's charging you so you gonna have to pay". Worst customer service and attitude I have ever experienced. I am quite a passive person, so for me to feel this mistreated is completely based on the fact that it was terrible. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel unless you want to be treated as if you were staying at a one star.
The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate all of my needs. The room was clean and large and was perfect for my stay. The breakfast was pretty great too- lots of food and pretty good variety, which was especially nice to see on a weekday not just a weekend! Parking was easy and you could come and go as you please, no guard letting you in and out (or having to drive your car up for you) like some places I've been at. As I was arrivingI noticed that there was a police station right near the hotel, which also made me feel even better about staying there (note: nothing caused me to feel unsafe during the stay, it was just a peace of mind to know there were police nearby). Maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the inner harbor which wasn't too bad.
I loved everything about Blancnoir. From the time we arrived to the time we left it was very comfortable and inviting. We were welcomed right away. It had a home feel to it rather than the feeling of a hotel where you check in and go about your way. The knew which reservation I was and what room I was in. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a relaxing weekend away. We were only about a 5 minute walk from a lot of restaurants and plenty of things to do. The location couldn't have been any better, no busy streets right outside with a bunch of noise. The breakfast was a bit different being that we didn't know anybody at the table but it was fun once we started talking to one another. I will definitely be going back for another visit in the near future

Room was clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Great location - a few minutes walk to the harbour and the aquarium. The building used to be a bank from the 1900s and they have retained a lot of interesting features. Great selection for the included breakfast. The only parking is valet ($35 per day). On the last day (a Sunday) we went to breakfast an hour before it was due to end and there was no coffee left. We were there for 30 minutes, but it was never replenished, even though I and was told more was on its way. This is a minor annoyance. I would stay here again.
The hotel staff changed my room when I brought to their notice that the water pressure was too low in my room. Very limited breakfast options for vegans and vegetarians Hot water was a problem. The location was perfect walking distance to the beautiful inner harbor. The view was great only because we were on an upper floor....our friends stayed on floor 2 and had a horrendous view of an old dedicated balcony. The accommodations were nice and staff was friendly. Our floor in front of the fridge in our room was always wet. The bathroom was pretty outdated and the fan in the bathroom had no purpose what so ever it was there for decoration and to make noise. Was upset that our room wasn't ready yet we got there at about 3 and did an early check in and said what time we would get there to ensure there would be no wait and we had to wait until 5oclock.
I was very pleased with the location of this hotel it is just a short two block walk to the harbor. The room was comfortable and the kitchenette was nice to have available although I did not use it. It is definitely decorated in a trendy style which was a nice change from your typical hotel. The other people staying there were mosly young couples. The hot breakfast that was included with our stay was great! It was a nice selection of items. There was very little I didn't like but I did not like that there was no iron available in our room. There was also no towel bar on which to hang our towels. I would have preferred that the bathroom be a bit cleaner (the tub was stained and there was dust in the corners).
The hotel is a fun place to stay. The staff treats you like you're part of their family. The staff wear their own clothes, and the casual atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. We didn't know that we had a microwave and refrigerator, or a hot breakfast buffet until we got there. It was a nice surprise, and we took advantage of all three. We will definitely stay at the Brookshire during our next trip to Baltimore.Special thanks to Yolanda at the front desk!

The staff was extremely friendly and helped to make everything about my stay as convenient as possible. The interior, ambiance, decor and architecture were beautiful and opulent. The location to the harbor was awesome and just enough out of the way to not seem like I was on top of everything. I was not disturbed once by housekeeping when I was in my room. For the prices I paid it was definitely worth it. I didn't have a microwave or refrigerator inn my room which I think should be standard in all rooms. Out was hard for nude to keep drinks and left over food or snacks cold and I had to go downstairs to heat up my food. They accommodated more when and I asked for early check in because I arrived earlier then I planned. I also like that check out is at noon and not earlier and they didn't rush me to leave past noon. The bed was super comfortable, one of the best I've ever slept in. I liked that they had a little store also because my allergies were acting up and I was able to get meds. The free breakfast in the morning was very delicious. Also free coffee 24/7 was very nice. I would like them to provide free water bottles also. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were all name brand which I think is important and appreciated.the only real gripe I have is the elevator. There was only 1 for my side of the building. It took awhile sometimes but that's hardly a big deal. All in all I would stay there again. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. They also had a really beautiful outdoor patio with a fire pit but I did not partake. I also never knew if there was a pool and I would have used it I've I had a longer and not so busy stay. If they don't have one they should. I can't wait to stay there again. Nothing except that elevator.

Very pleasant staff. Very accomodating as well. This is not their fault, unless they failed to communicate to you, but there is no "buffet breakfast" even available at this hotel. They do not have a buffet breakfast. And hotels really need to stop touting "continental breakfast" as any kind of perk. A few danishes and coffee do not make for anything special.

The convenient location to get to Johns Hopkins Hospital and restaurants close by. The rooms are nothing special for the price. I think it is too pricey.
