How to Get to Amalfi

Plane

Although Amalfi doesn’t have its own airport, you can fly to Salerno Costa d'Amalfi (QSR), which is located 26 km from Amalfi.

Train

Trenitalia is the most popular train carrier serving Amalfi, followed by Italotreno. The train journey from Amalfi to Genoa takes 0h 52m and costs around RM 57 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Rome, expect to pay about RM 67 for a 1h 12m trip.

Car

Another option to get to Amalfi is to pick up a car hire from Rome, which is about 226 km from Amalfi. You’ll find branches of DRIVALIA and Alamo, among others, in Rome.

Several bus lines operate bus routes to Amalfi, including FlixBus, Fiumicino Express and BlaBlaBus. From Rome, the bus ride to Amalfi takes 241 km and will cost you around RM 33. From Modugno, the ticket costs about RM 53 for a journey of 274 km.
