Loading was quick and efficient. The bate and switch with discount tickets were you are forced to pay for bag.
Would had been nice to see a movie without having to pay to watch
No drinks was offered
If other people in flight, followed instructions and were much cleaner.
About food
Totally a good experience while flying with United Airlines.
Really old planes
Perfection.
If there is an hour delay, and only one announcement is made regarding why, “a dirty plane” and “we are waiting for the Captain to board”and the screen keeps stating “on time” , and 100 people risk missing connections- who are then told to rent cars, run fast, or get a hotel room… well, that’s poorly managed by a team with no real training. Communicate more and better.
Wheelchair assistance from the United Club was terrible. No chair came when it was scheduled. There was no one at the counter upstairs to call for one. I had to hobble to the entrance to get someone to call for the chair. Waited for 10 more minutes. Got to the gate halfway through boarding. I was in Business Class. Flight attendants never asked if you wanted anything. Had to call for a glass of water. The food was fine.
Thé process in Frankfurt was appalling. We were directed to the wrong line by an airport employee as were many other people. This caused a 20 delay on departure and a lot of stress. The gate was not posted until 30 minutes before boarding then there were 2 security checks after even though we were transferring from another EU country. These took an hour to clear. The United staff then reissued paper boarding passes for the remainder of our trip but did not put TSA pre check on even though we have global entry. This caused more hassle for our Denver connection. The flight itself was wonderful but working through partner airlines is full of problems
Food options (no, really, just snacks) are severely lacking. In first class, we had the option of a small bag of popcorn, a very small cookie, and maybe a couple of other wrapped items. Seems like there are a lot better options that could be made available especially on a 2+ hour flight.
wonderful staff and smooth flight!
After checking luggage being put in a separate line for payement of luggage. Purchase from “Chat Deal “ was very poor, did not know bought ticket that did not include at least one check bag. Second chat deal called me and told I would hav e pay more $150 to get a aisle seat, clearly trying take money from people when I was able get my aisle seat for free 2 days before flight. Chat deal was the problem mainly.
Uncomfortable! No entertainment and no food Went and arrived on time
The crew we had this time was great. The entertainment & the connecting to it is spotty. The pathetic snack - why even bother. Allowing people to bring huge hiking backpacks and a stroller on board that took 3 overhead bins so others can’t bring regular carryon is an insult.
Packed so tightly, some rows didn't even have their own windows. Flight delayed 20+ minutes because of mechanical issue. Offered odd, unappetizing snacks that I couldn't eat anyway because I'd have to be bonkers to take off my N95 mask on a plane that crowded. Could barely move in my own seat. Subjected to a credit card offer, underlining the Atlantic article I read the other day about how U.S. airlines are now basically just banks that happen to offer some mediocre transportation services. The one saving grace is that the flight arrival was delayed much less than the takeoff issues would have suggested. Also, the security area at O'Hare Terminal 1 has been made utterly hideous. I feel so, so sorry for that out-of-place dinosaur fossil. Set it free from its ugly prison.
It was quite noisy on the flight for a night flight.
All just fine
It was a good flight. The entertainment could be better.
Late start, late arrival and very uncomfortable seats. No legroom, no elbow room because the person next to me was fat. I had to press myself toward the aisle or be rubbing arms with them. As a result, I was bumped every time someone passed in the aisle. But I couldn't get away from the hip encroachment. Who wants to rub hips with an oversized stranger for over 2 hours? I'm not fat, just tall and larger-than-average frame so I need to leg room but it would be nice if other peoples' body parts weren't squeezing under and over the arm of the seating. Why should it cost me so much for simple comfort so United can get a little more profit?
Late start, late arrival and very uncomfortable seating. If they schedule a takeoff at a specific time, how can they not know the traffic at the airport will be heavy and delay flights at that time? I paid for legroom but when seated next to an oversized person, I had no elbow room. Also, who wants to rub hips with a large stranger for over 2 hours? I ended up leaning toward the aisle the entire flight and being bumped every time someone passed by. Paying for legroom should include side-to-side space, too. This happened on both domestic flights I had within the past 2 weeks.
Seat horribly lacking in lumbar support. Bluetooth earphone connection Jair wouldn’t work. Food options were quite tasty and staff was professional and efficient as well as welcoming.
Is ANA airlines not united airlines, ANA airlines crew working professionally , more services providing, happy face to service customer
Crew less experienced, not happy face , don’t know how process works
Great, smooth flight. I did think there would be an outlet to use to plug in to at the seat.
Honestly didn’t like anything. Crew was in rush . Food was ok and there was no whiskey. Have to pay extra $ if you want to drink whiskey . They only provide wine and beer.
The flight from Lisbon to Newark was much, mush better then flight from Newark to Porto.
Knowing more clearly if I’m getting an air Canada or United flight. And ability to move tix dates even at this price point. My dad is sick and I wanted to extend my trip a couple of days but I was prohibited and fare was pretty expensive as is.
Both of the first class flight attendants were rude, to everyone, not just us. Not acceptable!
On board United Airlines flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x35x22cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the United Airlines assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
