The room was clean and quiet.
free internet blocked phone preventing me to call from my room using my calling card
The location and the bars outside of the hotel! I was informed that Breakfast was not included in the Standard room rate - unbeleiveable for the money!
I was particularly impressed by the courtesy and efficiency of the front-of -house staff, who were able to arrange trips for me on the spot even though I had little time. The lifts did not always respond to the card, even though I followed the instructions
Great location, panoramic city view from the room, good breakfast, great for city transport room feels a bit small, so as bathroom, breakfast could be warmer, but still that was not a problem for us
the decoration of the hotel and the rooms!!! they couldnt find the reservation, and they ask me to pay a normal price. after some arguement they accepted the internet price (i had to show them the reservation from my email) and for breakfast instead of 2 persons, they included only 1. i had to argue 2nd time to accept. although there was a hotel parking for free, they told me to put the car in the parking opposite the hotel that is secured and they cooperate with them, and during check out, the hotel ask me extra 24 euros for 1 night parking!!!!!!!!!
very flexible service for late checkout, friendly staff, convenient stay,
I always stay at Novotel Centrum when I am in Warsaw, it's comfortable central with a great view over the City!
I did not like the TV channels at all. There was not single channel with English. All channels had a Polish translation in the background and the user did not have any control over it. That was terrible. An international hotel must definitely have only English channels accessible.
centre of Warsaw Room minibar defect. No option to cook coffe or tea in the room as usual in Novotel or other Accor hotels worldwide.
Very neat and well arranged! Friendly staff and centrally located, much. Much better location than other the other big hotels nearby.
The view from the window! the hotel doesn't have pravite parking for their guests! We payed for 2 days in the parking under hotel for 100$!
very clean rooms, very comfort bed, location -near train station and shopping centrum
comfortable, conveniently located, nice restaurant facilities, fitness center is well-equipped no wireless network in the room (available only in common areas)
Good service, perfect breakfast and hotel taxi service from/ to the airport for a very good rate
Great location and service from all staff. Long queue when checking out, but almost expected as it was 9am.
All requets made were always carried out effectively The pool area could do with some upgrade.
Very centrally located Too expensive services cost such as internet use and hotel taxi drive to airport
Location, Hearth of the Warsaw , Breakfast , Prices ( 70 Euro / room ) I dont know why didnt Wifi in Room free of charge ?
Good location, good staff in general, nice and confortable room. nothing special.
Good location near the Central Train station and main business district. The room was clean and they had free apples in the lobby. The staff was not too helpful when we asked about train times to and from the airport. The wifi is only free in the lobby and is charged in the rooms (about $8 US per day).
The location is very good near to city centre however in a quite street. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. All facilities are available including free internet connection. Great breakfast.
The room was good equiped and employees very nice and helpful. Close from city center
Excellent Breakfast Buffet, Rooms were very nice, quiet. Location is far from Old Town and major sites. Metro is not really helpful in getting to the main attractions.
Very clean, quiet and courteous staff. Breakfast was wonderful. Nothing comes to mind.
Great location Poor air conditioning in room and lobby
i like to stay again in this hotel . because it is quite convinion for me .
Luxury room, great staff! Great breakfast spread in the morning!
The hotel is a great deal. For a very reasonable price you get nice facilities, access to pool and spa, and the breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly. The location isn't terribly convenient. It's a bit of a walk to get anywhere--even to a tram stop. Rooms seems to have showers but no baths.
The location is very central, and is good for seeing sights such as the Palace of Science and Culture and the Old Town by foot. It is also 10 minutes walk to the train station and to the Zlote Tarasy shopping centre. We did not plan to have breakfast there, but were offered it for 86zl per person. 172zl could probably have bought breakfast for 10 people outside the hotel, so that was not worth considering.
uncomfortable beds location not very good breakfast was not good
Excellent quiet rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. The only breakfast option is a large buffet. I do not $30 worth of food to start my. A couple of eggs, toast and coffee will do it Not available at the hotel or anywhere nearby. I stayed in two rooms there. Both had broken scales. I suggest fix them or remove them. They are just a toe stub hazard.
The room, especially the bathroom was large and comfortable. The parking garage was also very convenient. The queue at check-out in the morning; the breakfast was not included in the room rate of EUR 110,-
The staff it's polite, and the service is good
staff and welcome specially at the reception bar staff very friendly,, swimming poll is perfect taxi driver and concierge cooperation is not to help the guest i think just to do business between them
Location is perfect for tourists, Old Warsaw is only blocks away. Included breakfast was perfect, great selection of food, attentive staff, and unlimited coffee or tea. Highly recommended this hotel. Hotel was undergoing some remodeling. I'm sure price will rise with new amenities.
Location is perfect, it's walking distance to the old town. Included in our price was a buffet breakfast. It had a really rich selection of everything. The staff was very kind and the rooms looked new and in great shape. Internet was a bit on the slow end.
Location is perfect
Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. paying was a problem as I had to pay twice on my VISA as they wouldn't accept my switch card. Swimming pool and facilities were dated and due for a refurbishment. 2 single beds instead of a double as requested.
The location and open space around the hotel was very pleasent and the view onto the square was an added bonus. Other features we enjoyed being able to open the window in the room for ventilation the separate room room was also an excellent feature.
Location is excellent for both sighseeing and business while in a quiet street. The pool is fantastic. Staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and museum bookings, etc. everything was very good.
Great location, great swimming pool! Spacious and confortable rooms. I was given a room with 2 single beds. Quite small and narrow bed, even for 1 person.
Excellent position. Part of the room lightning and the cabled Internet connection was not working upon my late arrival. Air conditioning terribly noisy. Some staff was strangely snoopy and quizzical - In a five-stars hotel you should be able to relax and let down your guard.
clean ,location front desk woman
Opening time of the swimming pool: 9.00 am till 8.00 pm!!!!! Impossible to use.......
View from the swimming pool No breakfast , late brunch time on sunday, no nice waiting area in the lobby.
The quality of the rooms - great bed, view, bathroom, cleaniness, breakfast delivered to the room. The staff was not so nice, once I felt even offended when I went with my husband to the pool and the man from the help desk handed a form for adults only to my husband and when I asked if it is only one per room or what, he asked loudly and with surprise: "And you already had your 18th birthday?!".
+ the rooftop pool and jacuzzi, very nice birds-eye perspective views on the city (altough personel seemed very unhappy a little bit everywhere in the hotel ...) & pool was - maybe as expected - a little overcrowded. - - most incompetent hotel staff i ever had in Warszawa ( better go to the Marriot, the Westin, Hotel Diana, and many others for a correct client service ) They charge our credit card for the double (!) amount even one week after checking out (we paid everything correctly @ check-out) & after checking-in with my wife, the morning after they only had breakfast for one, taxi we ordered the night before to catch an airplane was not in time, husband checking out earlier than his wife was apparently a problem, pool service was quite unfriendly, & a lot of other mistakes were made. Finally, after expensive calls from Brussels to Poland, they told us that all mistakes are to blame on booking.com and ourselves. We never go back there.
services and facilities were up to 5 star standard Staff tried hard to help the price of the inroom internet was excessive and meant that i would not use it
Friendly, efficient staff. Great pool and gym on the 43 rd floor with views of warsaw. I have no complaints.
Location If you do not have a laptop they should at least let you have free internet in the lobby
The breakfast was superb.Everything was so fresh and tasty. It is also ideally located withineasy reach of public transport I was very happy with everything
The very center of Warsaw, good service ,very nice rooms
The spa/healthclub and pool area on the 43rd floor with a panoramic view of the city is great! The concierge at the hotel is the best to ask for recomendations. And the comfort of the room and the roomservice menu get top points as well! You definitely get value for money here. The service from the hotel staff was polite, but not overly warm and friendly.
Everything was excellent! Comfortable bed, clean room like everything was brand new, great breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'll stay at this hotel again. It would be nice if a receptionist could tell new guests that they have to use their room card to make elevators work.
Very central location, good breakfast. We stayed there in winter and the water in the shower wasn't hot enough.
location not far from station and old town , helpful staff internet connection expensive
I stay often at this Sheraton. They always make an error with the reservation - this time it was two beds instead of reserved one. But - still great value for the price.
The rooms were large and spacious, clean and comfortable.food excellent.could not find any fault with this hotel
The luxurious room! The restaurant prices (including the breakfast buffet) seemed steep for Poland!
flawless functioning, meets every expectation, good food, quick room service it is quite large - long corridors, many rooms per floor
restuarants espically the thai one best thai food out of thailand nope
Excellent service, very comfy room and great location.
Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast. Perfect for everybody who does not suffer dust mites allergy. It is not a place for you if you have dust mites allergy, all rooms are with carpet and quite old beds
I liked the room, it was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. There is unfortunately no swimming pool.
Excellent location, very attractive price for such a high standard No
It is the best hotel in Warsaw More italian Channels on TV
Excellent location and good price quality ratio
the bed is excellent the service like hotel with only 3 stars or less
Close to the railway station. A very comfortable hotel. No free Internet in the rooms.
Location to railway station and transport links. A little difficult to find.
Location The room was too cold
Although a flexible room booking was made, the hotel took payment from my credit card a week before I arrived. Acceptable if you have booked a cheaper advance room, but unacceptable for a flexible full price stay.
Decent location to be able to get out at night. The hotel is tired and tatty in places, and the rooms smell musty. Wifi access is really difficult.
5 stars ! 5 stars!
Pleasant English speaking reception staff. I could also listen to music in bathroom. No complaints
This is a well -placed Hotel, with large comfortable rooms. Very slow on the Front Desk.
Good location, reasonable price Hotel is located very close to a roundabout and since the rooms are not very well isolated, it's quite noisy.
Hotel has a perfect location in Warsaw. Very close to tram, bus and metro station. (1minute walk) Very close to center and lots of shopping centers. Hotel staf is really positive and try to help whenever you need something. Great breakfast service and very clean rooms. We stayed two times in a short period in different kinds of rooms. In one room there were slippers in the room, next time in the room there were no slipper. When we asked the reception, they said there is no slipper service at the hotel. No minibar in room.
nothing very unfriendly staff. not prepared to help when there was no record of booking
Very nice and cheap hotel with a great breakfast buffet. Very central just 5 min from the culture palace. Clean and nice rooms. Not much to complain about. The staff were not so helpful
Hotel is big, beautiful, very well-located (in the middle of the city near Warsaw Centralnaia station). Staff is very friendly, english-speaking. Breakfast is excellent. The room is clean and big enough.
-The location, it was easy to reach the city.... -The breakfast, it was really good...
good connection to public transport; centrally loacted as it is located at a very big street it is rather loud
Excellent Breakfasts.Very helpfull staff. No coffee facilities in rooms. Small cupboards.
friendly staff, very good breakfast, clean rooms the loudness of the street is a bit annoying, but one gets used to it
Super! The excellent personnel! Purely and comfortably! An excellent breakfast :) It is noisy in rooms when windows look at the central street. You will not have a sleep in the morning.
The best value for money hotel I've stayed in (including stays in 5 star hotels and also luxury category hotels worldwide over a number of years). All functions worked like clockwork, everything gleamed, Reception staff super efficient and the breakfast buffet superb. A very well oiled machine is the Polonia Palace! Not one thing I can think of
Staff, ambience, quality of structure/ decor-but vv helpful Nice staff No
Location, helpful staff, superb breakfast
The Hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable. The room is spacious. Unfortunately the windows of my room faced the Hotel hall. It was a bit noisy.
The lovely breakfast buffe and the perfect situation in the citycenter, a nice hotel newly restored makes this hotel be a perfect place to stay.
The bed was very comfortable. Very spacious room. The breakfast was not included. For this price it's a standard I think.
the bar was very relaxing
the location is perfect. Rooms are clean, nice design, with good views of warsaw nothing. when I ran into problems with the internet, staff was very helpful, sent somebody to help and then double checked that all was going well. no complaints.
Comfortable beds, airy rooms with high ceilings. Room was quiet. Located near shops and not too far from old town. Impressive reception and seating area. The single room was booked for a friend and we stayed in rooms booked separately with booking.com at same hotel after a family wedding. Everything was good and nothing not to like!
Great staff,good food,lovely rooms and reception area.Definate 5 star
Beautiful building, excellent comfort level, excellent downtown location
I cannot rate the Polonia Palace highly enough, immaculate spacious rooms, very central, great staff. All good!
- There was no free Wi-Fi in my room - The shower was cold (I complained but it was never fixed) - There were no hot drinks facilities in my room.
Excellent location, near the most beautiful areas of Warsaw. Friendly staff providing first class service. Perfect for those looking for "old British style". The prices for the breakfast as well as for the bar are clearly excessive. The window of our room was quite small and located in a quite low position. As I said, it is perfect for those looking for "old British style", not so good for those looking for a modern-looking business hotel.
The hotel provides free bottled water for guests. The housekeepers replenish this when they turn down the sheets. In a world where the top hotels seem to charge for everything, this was refreshing. A 35 Euro breakfast seemed absurd given the low prevailing price levels in Poland. Frankly, that would have been excessive for Paris.
Great Central location with good staff and excellent service
professionalism, nice staff, everything...! no
Hotel staff courteous, thoughtful, and very helpful when attention was needed. Hotel very convenient to visiting tourist sites, restaurants and shopping. Consierge services were super. Double room was lovely but only one comfortable chair provided for two in room. We needed to remain in room for two days because of a sustained injury. Television only source of entertainment, but limited in English. Only news/sports programming available.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town, in a safe area, next to many interesting touristic sites. The emploees of the hotel were very gentle and the most important was that they could speak English!! Also, the room was large and the very comfortable. I could stay there in the future! The bathroom. I think it needs renovation.
Large room with a beautiful bathroom.
We were made to feel like '5 star' visitors. The staff were all extremely warm and courteous. The facilities were above reproach.
Excellent the only thing that was really annoying was not having Wifi for free into room. Small thing, not sure how much it adds to profitability but it just takes the edge off of ones view of the place. (£45 for three days of wifi!!!)
room was comfortable and location is perfect poor service, rip-off pprice of a very poor quality (value for money) breakfeast
location, staff, service, breakfast room
art deco interior design, small intimate, personal service bad mattress
The comfort and design of the room and of the bathroom (underfloor heating, towel warmer, ...) The network connection never worked (cable or wifi) despite many trials by the staff itself
The room was in sort of art deco style up to the tiniest detail, very nice.
Excellent rooms, friendly staff (in the bar and restaurant), good food, real value for money - I would recommend whole-heartedly
Facility is almost good. But I cant accept that using Internet is charged.
The decor was impeccable. Done in the Art Deco style, we noted nothing that was out of place. The restaurant was great, we only wish we had been more hungry when we went. The staff were always very helpful. We loved it all. We wonder if we went again would we get such a good deal....
very good restaurant
Furniture Worst breakfast ever! Lack of privacy in the bathroom - open window looking to the opposite living house - had to use towel to cover it. Could not utilise breakfast after first night - hotel refused to compensate. No free wi-fi.
Personnel was very kind, the bar very comfortable. small rooms, too many doors, difficulties with the hot water regulation, small working table.
The staff was very efficient and friendly. One of the best locations in Warsaw, you're close to the center but escape the crowd.
Beautiful, comfortable rooms-bathrooms were amazing (heated towels racks, marble, etc); Rooms were extremely quite and the staff were exceptional! I will definitely look for this brand of hotel as I travel throughout Europe all the time. The best hotel by far out of all 5 stars on this trip between Warsaw, Krakow, and Prague. Perfect!-Only regret was not looking into this brand of hotel for Prague. The hotel reception had helped us with our train ticket and printed off itinerary info. with the train that you make a reservation for a seat and to pay at the station. It ended up it was the wrong train and we (me and my mom)had to stand for 3- 1/2 hours plus on our train to Krakow. I don't know what happened, and it may have been a website error, but it ended up being an experience to talk about and we had some great local flavor and met some great Polish people-it was up close and personal!
Very quiet and relaxed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really nice visit.
Great service and staff
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was beautifully decorated. Prices in the restaurant and bar were excessively expensive.
Central location for the old town, excellent rooms and efficient staff. lovely open air breakfast area. Minor observation that the upper rooms have rather small windows because of the old nature of the building. This makes the rooms somewhat dark during the daylight hours
The room was comfortable, well appointed with excellent bathroom. Hotel gave easy access to 'Old Town' and to the venue I was in Warsaw to attend. Breakfast in hotel too expensive.
The hotel itself and the room. Nice location and large well appointed room.
Very stylish hotel, oozing with refinement and class. Small hotel so can feel a little too quiet.
Very nice hotel with high level of quality. Good location within old town. Not too big. Facilities were close to 5 star but small things were not at that level. Cleaning staff walked into my room early in the morning (8.15) when I was still sleeping. Toilet & shower room was cold. Water was not running well away from the bath-tab. Breakfast was ok but not 5 stars level.
cable based connection to internet, missing WiFi
Location. If the room could have been bigger since two males were staying in the room. Perfect place for couples I would think.
very kind personal it is too modern for me. I do not like this kind of light. It looked like I was the only guest. That was a little bit strange
Internet, clean room, good breakfast Invoicing process - 0,5 h !!! (thanks God it finally worked out); I was asked to sign a bill during my breakfast (in the middle of my breakfast), as if signing upon my leaving the breakfast room was too dangerous...
Staff clear and precise - no 'waffle' Just one thing - could not figure out for a while that lights in room operated on the door key card. Could do with a clear notice to this effect on the table, this being first thing noticed on entering
Very appropriately located close to the city center. Comfortable rooms. Qualified staff.Renovated recently. Deposit for the room is too high. Breakfast is overpriced.
great rooms, great shower and very quiet rooms they told me that I could pay with Diners Club, but by checking out I couldn´t...minor issue, but for me of big importance
A one-night stay is hardly enough to judge a hotel, but I found the dinner excellent
The hotel is located successfully in relation to station: 2 stops by tram or by bus, it is possible to reach for 15 minutes on foot. Very attentive personnel on a reception. The comfortable, pure number, convenient bed. Very much it was pleasant, I will recommend to friends. There's no Wi-Fi in the room.
the hotel is good and honestly the hotel rescued me when i found an available double room with extra bed after what the hotel "apartmenty zgoda" did to us, as it is the worst hotel ever with the worst customer service, anyway grand mercure was a good hotel, good location, staff is friendy it is a little bit expensive
The breakfast buffet and comfortable beds! had originally booked a room with two beds, first moved to one with only one but was moved. There was a party that was scheduled to go until 2am that had music that was disturbing even on the third floor.
location: close to airport; comfort; good restaurant too expensive breakfast
Nice comfortable for meeting, excellent breakfast with a lot of space to discuss during the meal, very good that nobody is pushing you out of breakfast premisies even if the time for meal is allready over
We stayed at the Regent, and usually do when we travel to Warsaw. You cannot beat the service. The staff are so accommodating, the rooms are extremely clean, and the amenities are amazing. The indoor pool, and gym facility are both amazing. The breakfast is so delicious as they offer so much! Definitely worth it to stay here! We will be back! Loved everything!
Large room Everything where old and not clean. Important is, that bed must be soft... it was not
Nice hotel, big rooms, separate shower and bathtub. Good food in the hotel. The breakfast was rather expensive ( 25 euro I think). So I did not take it. Menu to select your evening meal did not offer a lot of variation.
recentlt l stayed thıs hotel. hotel's taxı drıver ıs chıttıng all the guest because normally the taxı cost 30 zlotı but drıver charged 70 zlotı. ıncredıble case. yesterday l paıd 30 zlotı 1 day later 70 zlotı. can you ımagıne. my strongly recommendatıon every one never use hotel's taxı and hotel's person. never belıeve them.
Reaxation area Oasis, breakfasts Cleaning service
The prices of breakfast and mini bar are extremly high
service at reception, room service...big, clean, comfortable rooms (deluxe rooms.). of course the low price via booking.com very closely undergroundgarage, near to unpossible to park without damages, untypical for 5 star hotels...
decent and clean rooms, big bathroom, high quality and friendly service, clean, good sport facilities, fine food.
Overall the room and the food in the restaurant and during breakfast. Expensive wifi, it should be free in a five-star hotel!!!
Very comfortable beds, spacious room + sitting area. Would definitely recommend.
Great comfort with all needed electronic articles and internet broadband connection. Thumbs up for the kitchen and all the accessories. I will recommend this hotel to everyone who want comfort to the right price.
additional charge for parking.
Good location, we traveled with a baby so having kitchen in the room was very useful for us. Staff is very polite and tried to help any time we needed. Room was clean. I would prefer breakfest incuded within the price of the room. No pool.
Comfortable and quiet.. close to all points in the city I think that the prices of the snacks and sweets in the minibar were too high. All the things should be complementary. They were much too expensive.
The room........... fantastic place to stay,,,,, very modern no late bar
The hotel has good comfort and space. The beds are wonderful and the rooms are well equipped. Here are the opportunities for self catering. Very central and quiet. Some employees might have been something more customer friendly. A new modern television had not been stupid in relate to the standard of the apartments.
Very comfortable, quiet, beautifully furnished, clean apartment and a beautifully styled bathroom. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Since we stayed a longer time, the well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities were appreciated. Internet access (free), safety box in the room, and airconditioning also a plus. Excellent location. We would definitely consider coming back to this hotel. A couple of minor drawbacks were that the windows could not be opened, and that cigarette smoke smell occasionally came into the room through the airconditioning (we had asked for a non-smoking room). A few English television channels would also have been good to have.
The suite was very nice, modern and clean with all accommodations you could need The staff were not overly friendly and the sex-shop outside the entrance was a bit disturbing
Great location close to the city center. The breakfast was good. Very comfortable beds. The traffic outside was a bit disturbing.
Rooms were spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was relatively central with good tram and bus links to the Old Town, station and shopping. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice and a spacious dining area. The main bar area allowed smoking but I understand that this is about to change throughout Poland.
Hotel MDM is pretty well situated in city centre, easy to access everywhere. Traffic noise may cause issues to someone, I was ok with that.
Wi-Fi is free and breakfast is very good. Friendly staff. Very good location and public transportation. Wi-fi password expires in 5 days or less and each device requires one.
Location of the hotel
Nicely furnished clean rooms, favorable location near subway, tram and bus lines, many nearby restaurants, fairly close to Lazienki park. Cab driver called by the hotel only charged the metered rate. No air conditioning, relatively loud neighborhood
There was a clean room. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing- a lot of different food for a different type of taste. There is a traditional polish restaurant on the corner. It's in the center of city, but not in historical part. You should use some transport to get to old town.
Very clean and friendly Very noisy during the night. People up and down the corridor. Very difficult to sleep
Location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Internet is not free. I had a tiny room which wasn't very clean.
very good breakfast; spacious room; it could be great view from window (but there's asvertisement covering all of it :)) not far from the city center. sovietic
great. For Europe, the rooms were big. It was nice to have two bedrooms so the kids had their own rooms. Everything is close. Tons of restaurants, shops, coffee. Close to the train station. Nothing I can think of.
Beautiful, clean apartment. Good for long term stay and fantastic location. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine available as well. The drainage system for the shower and bath tub clogs up.
Good value, very pleasant rooms, nice central position. You probably need to update the cafe a bit, and you have to run the hot water for at least 15 minutes before it gets hot!
LOCATION. The hotel is located right behind the Galeria Centrum, which is directly across the street from the Palace of Science and Culture. Several central train/metro stops are a short walk from here including the main train station. You are surrounded by shopping and eating options, literally. SIZE. The rooms were spacious with more than enough space for sleeping. Our room had 2 foldout sofa beds in the living room, a single in its own room, and a double in the back room. There was a small dining area and separate kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc. There was even a small washer in the bathroom. STAFF. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and professional. Nothing really. We didn't have enough pillows/blankets for all beds, but that's probably because they upgraded us at check-in and weren't expecting anyone in that apartment yet.
It is like a home away from home. Lots of space and close to shops and places to eat. Close also to tran station. Only thing we thought was required were fans in the room or better still air con to be installed. It was very hot.
The suite was quite large and rooms were generous. The rooms were clean. The sofa in the TV room was comfy if it was a touch longer it would have been better than the beds. The breakfast was very poor. The bed was a slab of concrete and the pillows hard. No TV in the bedroom. We paid a good price for this hotel but would not recommend this hotel for the full rate.
St. Andrew's Palace is not your usual hotel. An all-suite hotel, it offers generous living and sleeping rooms along with a fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bath. There is no room service, house cleaning on the weekend, or 24-hour front desk, but non of that detracts from the extraordinary positive experience of staying at the St. Andrew's. It is conveniently located in the city. A suite facing onto the courtyard tends to be quieter than those facing the pedestrian street zone. The courtyard cafe offers a decent breakfast. It closes at 11:00pm, whereas the street scene can go on until after midnight. St. Andrews offers more than luxury hotels in the area and at a lower rate. The air conditioning came in handy. TV, video, DVD player. St. Andrew's does not have its own parking. I did not get any information from them before my arrival. Upon arrival, I was directed to a large guarded surface lot about a 10-minute walk, but I found a much better deal in an even closer underground guarded garage just 5 minutes by foot. The entrance to the pedestrian zone in which the hotel is located is difficult to find at first, and I was not quite sure that I could drive into it. But you can. The hotel's website could provide better information, maybe even a map to alleviate the search. But, Ende gut, alles gut!
attended the exhibition in Warsaw TV did not work, no minibar, poor breakfast - too bad for 216 EURO per night
Value for money. The location compared to price paid was very good. nothing; maybe that the "reception" only was open Monday to Friday and we stayed there during the weekend but wasn't a problem as we didn't have any problems.
Excellent security and reasonably quiet provided you are overlooking the courtyard - spacious and well appointed - close to shopping in department stores and to the weekend market along Nowy Swiat - easy walk (for those without impairment) to the University and down into the old city. There is no room service or reception on Saturday and Sunday - make your own beds and no change of towels and bed linen - the 24hr security guard takes over the reception role but English can be a problem if you want more than a taxi. Chmielna is rather run down (undergoing renovation) and has its interesting collection of colourful characters.
Friendly, helping, english speaking stuff. Spacious room. As this is an appartment hotel, it worth mentioning that the hotel doesn't provide elementary amenities, e.g. soap, shampoo.
Very comfortabel hotel, you feel like you are at home. We stayed at a Junior apartment and liked it a lot. Breakfast was also very good. Can't say the location is very central but if you arrive to Warsaw just to visit the city then it's quite ok since it takes only 15-20 minutes walk to get to the center of the city The only thing that I personally would recommend to the hotel management is to fix at least one small shelf in the shower cabin, just in case your guest would like to use his/her own shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a razor, a comb or a hair clip in the shower. I had to put all this stuff just on the bottom of the cabin. And flushing system is not operating very good presumably due to saving reasons. But, imho, the hotel is spending more rather than saving.
