Pros: The room and bathroom was gorgeous. The hotel staff was also top notch. We were spoiled with popcorn and beers after returning from our night out which really was a super awesome surprise.
Cons: We found the bed to be very uncomfortable. For one thing, There was no top sheet, just a comforter. The king bed was not made very well, every time my husband or I moved during the night the other was woken up. The air conditioning didnt seem to work well either in room 1510.

Cons: Yes I am disappointed with the staff at the Spa . I tried to make an appointment and had questions. Staff was not helpful and accommodating. The time requested was not available and was told that she will call back to update but did not. Unfriendly .

Pros: Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also,every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!

Pros: Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well.
We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there.
Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.

Pros: So many things to love. We were allowed to check in early after arriving at 0700 and getting off a stupidly long flight from Brisbane. The accomodation is in the perfect location. Close to shops; awesome cafe in the same building (OMG the coffee rivals the stuff we enjoy in Australia, and the. croissants are incredible); there's a rental bike shop around the corner to ride around the parks and down to the food markets; you can stroll down to the waters edge. So good. We loved it.

I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect.

Heck us in was enthusiastic about her job and tried to help us every way she could. We arrived very early from a cruise and our room was not ready. She kept us informed about the room. She also checked with the restaurant that we made reservations at to verify the time and made an additional reservation for the following evening. She told us that she was a student in a hospitality and tourism program. I’m sure she will be successful and the Executive Hotel Le Soleilel is very lucky to have her as an employee

Pros: Great facilities, great location, waking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Underground parking included in the room rate. Lovely clean, comfortable and spacious room with everything that you will need. A home from home. I would recommend staying here.
Cons: We only stayed 1 night so we didn’t really make the most of the facilities. A very unpleasant man checking us in. Grumpy, bad attitude, and over confident. Not helpful at all!

Pros: Aside from being everything I look for in a hotel—quiet, great views, luxuriously comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and decor throughout—its location really makes it special when it comes to exploring the city.
It's perfectly situated along major bus and train routes, and you'll never spend more than a minute or so hailing a cab on the street (which is great, as there's currently no Uber or Lyft). Vancouver's already a super walkable city, but this makes it incredibly easy to get around without a car.
Even then, you're never more than a few blocks from great food, art (the Vancouver Art Gallery is across the street), landmarks, parks, entertainment and shopping.
It also smells phenomenal. Stay there.

Cons: Tried to checkin at 240 when guaranteed is 3pm. Didn't have our room ready till 4pm. I had to inquire 3 times with 3 different people whom all assured us they would call or text me and inform guest services manager. Didn't happen.
Bags took another 40 mins longer to come up as they insisted on delivering.
Executive suite was nice but only 7th floor. Bad view of pool/buildings. Outdated inside suite. Mismatched door hardware and odd bath/shower setup. No soaker tubs.
Won't be back in future. Considering Hotel Georgia or Westin or Pan Pacific.

Pros: I liked everything. The modern rooms were well equipped and excellently laid out. Everything worked and everything was spotless. We arrived a few hours early but they let us check in straight away. They think of everything in this hotel and nothing is too much trouble. I’m here during the corona virus outbreak and even though the restaurants had to close and the only food available was room service, the staff would set up a full table in your room for your meal and then take it away again when you’ve finished. I literally can’t fault it. After checking out early from a poor hotel down the road from here, this place is a breath of fresh air

Cons: The room was not clean. One bed had fresh blood stains on the sheets. We called housekeeping to address and they did that night. But they also suggested that if our sleep wasn't too important that they could change the bed in the morning. We had them change the bedding immediately. We never heard from anyone else so de "tested" the maid by leaving some unkempt areas for verification. Example, a used coffee pod in the Keurig. She didn't remove it. Gross. Won't stay here again.

Cons: The rooms are looking in need of an update soon. We have always stayed at the Metropolitan when we come to Vancouver, because of their great location, friendly service and great rates. We have noticed that since the change of ownership, things are quite as personal when we are making bookings ( they don't recognize that we have been staying there so often over the years), but the service at the hotel is still excellent.

Really just the room. Everything else was shut down. But the room (actually a one-bedroom apartment) more than met our needs. They offered an incredibly discounted rate - there was really no comparison with anything else, in what we got for the price. It was very large and comfortable. Although staff were not coming in to clean (they would come if you asked when you were away from the room) they were very good about keeping us stocked up with clean towels, shampoo etc. You could order ahead from the restaurant and have it delivered to the room and they did offer a free breakfast from the coffee shop downstairs. Mostly pastries and sandwiches. The most important thing to us was feeling safe staying there during the COVID outbreak and I have to give them kudos there. They did, I think, everything possible to reduce risk of transmission.

Cons: It was noisy in the room until 3am on the weekend because of street noise. Its not the hotel's fault but maybe they could improve soundproofing one day.

Pros: We had a room with 2 beds and private bath that felt like a regular bathroom, not institutional bathroom. Window that opened in both room and bathroom. The hallway had similar rooms and therefore we didn’t see or hear a lot of noise or partying. Staff were super helpful with any and all questions, offered us coupons for events we weren’t aware of, and overall we felt safe and comfy in this hostel.

Cons: Breakfast was so-so and the breakfast room was small. The immediate neighborhood is in transition so expect some unusual (sometimes shady) characters on the street, but short walk to nicer environments.

Cons: Free parking would have been nice. The wifi is so slow it's unusable. You can totally tell it's an old building. Dirty, kind of run down. Could tell it was previously a smoking hotel.

Cons: The rooms were dingy and kinda gross. It seems like the day to day cleaning is done decently but the general upkeep and overall appearance was not appealing. Also, the staff didn't seem to care much about the complaints and the hotel in general seemed to be more interested in taking care of tour groups then anyone else
