Amazing value for money Wish there was HD cable box in room, game would look much better
Location was good to local activities. Kitchen was functional and well stocked. Wasn't informed of $10 per day charge for parking before arrival. Entrance and exit for parking facility was difficult Carpeting was not clean and some furniture was in need of replacement. Entrance scatter rug had to be removed as it kept blocking the door.
Our suite was outstanding. Beautiful fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, washer and dryer. Outstanding. It was a little close to the highway, so you had to get used to highway noise. I don't think this would be an issue in the winter. Also, they charge you $10/day for parking in the parking garage - the only place you could park, which wasn't included in the price I was quoted.
Liked the staff location and rooms. A great place. Under heavy renovation at the end of April.
staff was outstanding. Upgraded us to a suite and treated great. Have been going here for a few yrs and its just keeps getting better.
Complimentary coffee wasn't refilled for almost 2 hours. Onsite coffee shop was closed during the week. Wait staff in bar was wonderful.
Outstanding service & attentiveness. We stayed at the Four Seasons Vail for our wedding night. I had booked a couple months in advance. We weren't accustomed to the caliber of service, so I was quite sure what to expect, but I wanted to make the night special, so I splurged for us to stay here. Our concierge, Brett, was excellent to work with to coordinate details prior to our stay. The level of service, attentiveness, and overall experience of our accommodation was outstanding.
Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable accommodations. Highly recommended.
The people and facility are second to none. Perfectly located in th village with access to all the fun. I've stayed at most of the resorts here but I only come back to the Sebastian anymore. I didn't get to stay long enough.l..
Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, bar had good drinks and tasty bites with knowledgable staff and even a happy hour; Convenient base camp for ski and boot storage, the bus stop right out front. Had a car to also take you to places. 1 out of 2 Elevators not functioning
Wonderful staff and great location. Bathrooms while nice were a little small for a luxury hotel, with a small tub and shower combo.
Best hotel experience ever. Staff was great, food was great, everyrhing was perfect
Met the owners, and their dogs. Great family owned property, and you can't beat the location. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
In the middle of a great ski village, awesome views and great in summer as well
We brought our dog and 3 week old baby and had a perfect visit. Great room, easy going staff, walking location to the good stuff. Will return for sure.
friendly staff and competent staff
Great location within Vail Village. The lobby was beautiful and cozy, the rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. Very comfortable bed, soft bedding and towels, nice robes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Every morning there was coffee, tea, and several complimentary newspapers ready for you in the lobby. Every afternoon there was coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and fresh cookies waiting for you, as well as a roaring fire. Can't think of anything. We enjoyed our stay that much!
Gem of a hotel with beautiful service and elegantly appointed rooms in a gorgeous setting in the heart of Vail. Quiet, warm and serene. The owners live on the top floor and make you feel like family. Will definitely return.
The location is perfect for strolling around Vail Village. The entire facility has recently been remodeled and is in excellent shape. Good value for the money. Friendly staff and the owner is very "hands on" and friendly.
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We got to the hotel and were immediately greeted by Greg who helped us with our luggage and valeted our skis for us. He showed us to our room and gave us helpful tips to avoid lift lines in the morning. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The lobby area was also very clean and always had water and iced tea for guests. From 2-4p they put out chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate for guests when they come back in from the slopes. The location of the hotel was very convenient. We had easy access to the free bus in town to get to Lionshead. It was walkable to Vail village and all of the restaurant and shops there. It is also very close to the covered bridge and the transportation center. No complaints here!
It was a great experience, unfortunately I suffered from altitude sickness and had to leave the last day but they assured me I'd be compensated for the last day even though I had already laid. Very friendly definitely coming back. Jorge
The walls are paper thin and could hear everything. The hotel was very dated and not renovated. You had to basically out your shoulder into the room door to open it. For $400/nt I expect a lot more but I guess it is "Vail". Hampton inns are much better
The hotel did seem to be a little run down the staff just went thru the motions. Perhaps they [the front desk] were just having a bad morning. i would stay there again...for 70 bucks ...thats all its worth...
Love the location and the staff is very friendky The facility is old and tired
The staff was friendly and efficient. The Evergreen lodge
Fairly clean. Great location right in the shuttle line. Had pool/hot tub Some people staying next door were speaking loudly at 130 am. Could hear everything.
The bed and linens were super comfortable and the location was great for walking around Vail Village. The elevator was small and the carpet in the hallway wasn't clean.
The price for staying in Vail The show setting was downright dangerous, Went from cold to scalding by moving a mm.
Can't beat the location. It's right next to the hospital and just a short walk from the center of town. This is an older hotel in need of renovation, but that's reflected in the price. Overall, it was a good value for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
By far the best and most convenient location for skiing in Vail Village. The newly renovated Lodge is once again a great place to stay. While it is not the most luxurious hotel in Vail due to strong competitiom, the rooms are extremely comfortable, spa and pool are great, breakfast is delicious and restauramt options are good too.
surroundings, great staff
Overall the hotel was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we pulled up to when we left. The proximity to the village was a quick walk across the street, no issues at all. The suite was amazing!! Spacious, lots of room to store your items and you don't feel clustered. Fireplace was great in the room as well. The price was higher than I would normally pay, but I did book last minute so I guess that comes with the territory. No other complaints, great place! I'll be back in the winter!
Staff were great. I screwed up on my end and departed late contacted them and they made sure i would be able to get my key to my room though the front lobby was closed by the time of my arrival. And for all the chaos surrounding the Vail Mountain games they kept everything clean and couldn't have been in a better location.
The service was great. I wish I had a balcony.
The location was great...very close to most of the Vail shopping area. Overall we thought the hotel was a nice place but we had stayed at another lodge for 4 years and it was MUCH better than this one was for the same price.
The hotel was clean and in a great location, the staff was wonderful and very attentive and helpful. Hotel Employee was particularly great to work with. There were bugs in the pool and no AC in the rooms was unexpected and a problem with a baby staying with us.
Great location, Parking, nice Continental breakfast. Room was very small for a king-size bed, as was the bathroom. Only one comfortable chair in a corner where viewing tv was difficult. Mattress uncomfortable.
Easy access to the lift, rental shop within the hotel, friendly staffs, clean and nice rooms...everything was wonderful. We stayed at a condo. Before we arrive, water pipe broke and they upgraded our room. The road to the condos was frozen and was slippery to walk.
This rental was in a perfect location to get to the slopes. It was huge and very comfortable. We loved the hot tubs and heated pool!
We go to Vail a couple of times per year. Sun Vail is a quality hotel with a mediocre location. The prices are great, the condos are great. You can stay closer to the lifts, but they have a ski locker at the gondola so why pay more for a shorter walk home.
Location can't be beat Poor responses from the gentlemen at the front desk. Hotel couldn't provide any extra pillows when asked why claimed the hotel was sold out. Hard to believe.
We love the location, the European atmosphere and the comfortable rooms. In the summer you park free in the public parking deck that is located a very short distance from the hotel.
Great location. Don't use the facility parking. Loud party in the middle of the might
Great location, nice rooms, The food in the Restaurant was not what I expected for the money I paid. Receptionist was a little miss leading.
Breakfast included; can't beat the location. Loud bar underneath hotel
Wonderful. Cozy. Friendly. Clean. Extremely comfortable. Perfect location. Great food.
Great place, but for the love of pete, get/download a map of the area. We didn't, it was darn near impossible to find it and since our cell coverage ditched outside of Denver, we were lost. Actually had to ask (!) a different hotel clerk. There is limited parking for $15 a night, no biggie for us, the public lots are free in the summer. And it was spendy (almost $200) for one night.
