it was at the centre of the city which was good, nice n clean. food was good the only thing that ruined our holiday was when we where told it had sat tv, but they didnt tell us that all 35 channels where in spanish and german and not one english channel to be watched esp in winter at nite time. The fact that some german ppl where aloud to sit in the sauna completely naked really made me feel uncomfortable,
some of the staff were pleasant but not all. not enough variety in the evening meal. hotel needs modernisation.
The location was the main reason for me.
The hotel is making good progress with modernisations and it's easy to see how much better the place is looking. The rooms are good and the air conditioning make them even more comfortable. The main pool is great if a little busy, and the view from the rooftop pool is impressive. Overall, the Cervantes offers good value for money, but don't expect too many 4-star frills. The lifts are painfully slow and there are not enough beds by the pool (I was annoyed so many beds lay unused but covered with someone's towel all day). Don't come for the food. It's not great and the queues are huge. There are lots of good restaurants nearby (to suit all tastes and budgets).
Because of the location in the centre. There was no internet possibillity, which is very usefull.
excellent location to center of torremolinos, modern hotel for the area, clean, good price The breakfast buffet was horrible, not worth eating. Better off buying breakfast elsewhere. WiFi in lobby not connected to to intenet and spoke to reception and they had no clue!
comfortable rooms and helpful staff we stayed half board and were disapointed at the lack of fresh fruit available at breakfast
Very good and nice hotel situated in the center of Torremolinos. Inside the hotel it reamins quiet and gentle, without any noice or rumours of the outside world. The crowdy town is left behind when you pass the hotel doors
it was a good place to stay the reception was very slow and understaffed at times
Matress are horrible
The location of the hotel is best. Too noisy both from the street and in the hotel. Walls are too thin. Breakfast is nothing to brag about. We expect a better standard of a grand hotel.
It is located at the Torremolinos station. During my stays, there were evening events at the pool of the hotel till 23:00. I wanted to sleep, I was annoyed by such noisy event.
left to do my thing, when a problem occured witm my door access card it was dealt with-and resolved- immediately very noisy, total payment in advance
Friendly staff, good location for where we wanted to be. Very reasonable prices. We only ate breakfast there, and it was absolutely awful although there was a large selection. Saying that, we didn't go for the food... so not really a big deal. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had in Spain though!
It was too far from beach, some facilities which was stated in site was not available like free safety box or satelite TV
food Hotel is huge, dirty, room smelled very bad from sewage in the bathroom. Extremely busy and only one lift for hundreds of rooms. Good food but it was an awful crowd at the table. I do not recommend . The worst that I stayed in Spain.
All-inclusive option with good food.
My room was small and there was not much space to move around, the weather was very hot and there were no controls on the air con.
Great value for money, in comparison with other 3* hotels in Torremolinos. Very good variety of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic variety of food for all inclusive service. Close to the railway station and to the airport (Taxi in the night from hotel to airport costs 18 eur only). Uncomfortable beds, no double bed, only two separated beds available. To many people in the hotel for available lifts, during the peak hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner time) steps instead of lifts using is needed (please, take to account the 10 floors of hotel) Small hotel swimming pool and related place close to it. It is needed to reserve a place in the very early morning. Quite noisy in the pool area and during the peak hours in the restaurant also connected with chaos. Air conditioning also noisy. Far away from the beach, 20 min by foot, a lot of stairs.
pool area very busy and the pool was a bit to small
nice view main courses for dinner were always cold and water was never boiling for tea in the morning.
Good location , indoor pool nice and warm although not very big Breakfast very poor , cold bacon and eggs every day toaster not very good took two goes to get toast done , only one toaster , tea bags not labelled , difficult to tell what teabags were what .plates not warm enough , some hotels have special plate warmers to keep plates warm , eggs wern,t cooked properly , white of egg still clear and runny these are basic things that a hotel should be able to sort out easily at minimal cost . the receptionist with dark hair was very beautiful and polite.
using the pool at the evening when everybody was sleeping already
the indoor pool was great had to pay for tv in english only cnn free
A Quiet hotel with Staff that were not intrusive but helpful when help was needed. Excellent location.
Wi-fi didn´t work
Staff, and cleanliness. The fact that I was made to pay for the hotel on arrival. This has never happened to me having stayed at hotels across the globe, including USA, Holland, and UK. Very disappointed
Reception Staff very helpful, location excellent.
close to centre and the beach.staff always willing to help.
good position close to the ship to Cadiz, swimming pool little parking inside
The room was excellent with a lovely balcony and the staff were friendly. breakfast was really good too.
Location, 24hr reception, breakfast Double room was small
everything was great. I really recommend...
The view from our terrace overlooking the main avenue, the sea and the all area
Clean and spacious room No swimming pool
The room was not clean enough.A smelly the room.It was not bad breakfast, however the staff a bit impolte. In the recepcion,we have to deposited the money for the T.V. remote control. We felt a bit awkward to be 3star hotel.
Clean Poor fittings, Cracks in Wall, Light Bulbs not working
it was spotless , in great location for ammenities, and great staff.
it's central location
Freindly staff, room clean & comfortable, nice balcony with sea view No tea/coffee making facility in room, no english TV channels
The Parking is deceptive. They say there is free parking. There is none. Then they say there is discount parking for 5 euros. There is not. It is expensive. They are liars. You have to PAY for WIFI. This is 2015. The walls are dirty, for example, and the carpets stained. The hotel is dated and disgusting.
Central location and close proximately to rail & bus stations and sea front. Lack of english speaking television stations
Location in city center
Its location in the centre of torremolinos was excellent. Excellent value for money, and I would go back again as a basic break. It was clean and a reasonable variety of food. A bit crowded in the evening with such a large group of spanish senior citizens staying on holiday which ment waiting for a table. Sometimes at breakfast also, but as we were on a short break it was ok.
The situation is brilliant, train station & bus stop are just at end of road. Also, selection of food is excellent & not forgetting the shopping - great. You are in the centre of everything at the Flamingo.
The hotel is situated in the town centre. Makes it easier to explore the Costa Del Sol.Bus and train stations are 100 metres away.
room 1124...first stay, good location......compared with Natali and Cerventes, food less choice .... but better cooked than Nataili..... big plus free wine/water/sangria at dinner ...... staff very good....good value for money Room/balcony small for two ..... OK for one... room 1124....the carpets in corridors and walls need attention/replacement
Convenience to resort centre Food was very poor. Not a great selection. Food that should have been hot was cold and cold meats were displayed under hot lights. Dining room was uncomfortably hot. Needs better air conditioning. Electronic key to our room broke six times. We were offered a move but declined as it would have meant moving to a higher floor and the lifts were always packed. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Near local centre and train station.
The freedom to come and go as we pleased the lady who cleaned our room was neither efficient nor interested
it was really close the the restaurants and 10 minute walk from the beach furniture is extremely plain and tv did not work, but the room did its job because only stayed one night. had asked for a double and gave us a triple bedroom.
location of the Hotel
central location ideal for shops bars and one minute from train station which is excellent and cheap for trips and the airport no views from rooms and no swimming pool
Went to beach
Within easy reach of the train service to Malaga
i only stayed for one nifght but it was good for what we needed The noise is really bad. You can hear every movement in the corridor and the other rooms. If you want a relaxing stay it's not the best hotel
Little room, but very clean. Friendly staff. Near the beach. Amazing English-Spanish pub (Bar del Ana) closed to the hotel open till 2 a.m.
Everything! Maybe Hostal Guadalupe should have internet but nothing more!
Great location, try to find parking in the streets leading to the hotel and then walk, as the hotel is situated on a pedestrian street. Owner is super friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit dark and moody, but a little balcony was a bonus. The restaurant is nicely decorated, full of atmosphere and good music, we only had breakfast there but it looks a good restaurant and was very busy for dinner.
friendly, clean, good position close to beach, excellent value for money
Friendly Staff. Basic. Clean. No facilities (soap, gel etc)
This is a lovely little place, situated directly to the beach and on the main shopping street in Torremolinos. The locations is the best you can get and along the bech there is a walking path that connects Torremolinos with Benalmadena in a walking distance of approximatley 40 minutes. The Staff is verry wellcoming and helpful and friendly. We arrived 01,30 in the night because of flightdelay and was welcomed with a smile. Thank you Pedro! The Hostal also have a small and cosy restaurant with excellent food both for dinner and lunch. Please try the Paella, it is perfect, and made from fresh ingredienses. Verry reasonable prices both for lunch and dinner. The hole hotel is nice and clean. When I come back next time I will stay here again
Basic accommodations close to the beach. The room was nothing special, but the bed was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. Good value for the location. Hotel staff was very friendly.
Friendly staff; close to activities including shopping, beach and dining. Noisy and parking difficult, but to be expected for area.
Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere thanks to the fantastic staff that makes it possible. The location of the hostel is perfect; whether you want to go to the beach or into town, everything is always nearby. Another strong point for the hostel is the restaurant: the food served there is honestly the best you will get in Torremolinos and being there for a week we had a chance to check out many places. None was as good!
fantastic staff... thank you boys.. we will see you soon x
good location, cleanliness and food, this being my 5th stay at Natali lifts can be a problem at meal times
Generally a good value for money, nicely situated in the heart of Torremolinos close to all amenities, restaurants and night entertainment. quite a walk to the beach (hotel on a hill) but the hotel serves a free bus shuttle several times a day.It has all you need but don't expect luxury of course. Some rooms are on the noisy street side. the air-conditioning stops working between 5 am and 12pm. breakfasts very repetitive - fried eggs and bacon plus some ham, cornflakes and bread. generally poor choice of vegs and fruit, so disastrous to a person wanting to eat healthy. the swimming pool is tiny, placed on a terrace street-side,to me unbearable.the gym open only 2 hrs a day (12-2pm)!!!
location and friendly staff found roaches in room at night. lobby and hallway very load with kids. my do not disturb sing was taken from my door and never received another so was woken up several times. air in room not cool enough. i would recommend this hotel for families but not to people without.
good food ,but each day still the same sortiment, small swiming pool,on the lunch and dinner you must buy watter also you pay full board
situation good, breakfast good, dancing at night most enjoyable.
Very close to shopping and if desired public transport to other locations Nothing
the room was very comfortable and the location was great! you had to pay an extra 20 euros for the tv remote control
Litf to city center is very good solution. Apartament was very nice with seaview. only 5 tv channels (all in Spanish)
Clean rooms every day. Flexibel staff. Good swimming pool, not to many people
The hotel is really close to airport, only 20 euro in a taxi and 2 minute walk to the beach. good location all round. The hotel bar is not manned on a constant basis. You could be waiting at least 10 minutes to order a drink as the bar man also was working in the restaraunt part. An extra staff member would be useful.
Location near the beach good. Apartment good nad well erquipped.
Location, seaview, room facilities Key card took multiple attempts before unlocking door
leaving the hotel bed stiff, lack of pillows, poor maintance staff and bar closed too early.
Great location. Close to the beach but also a lift to the town center. I found this hotel to be great value for the money. The room was a bit dated but I can live with that.
Location. Good ambience and pleasant staff. Very bad TV quality. Bad antenna.
Good service and frendly staff.
Great location close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Staff was very nice and spoke English. Overall the hotel location is the best followed by the price. If you want a reasonable hotel close to the beach, shopping and food this might be a good choice. Beds are hard and uncomfortable, room was outdated, worn and in need of a good cleaning. We requested a non smoking room and got a smoking. Overall not too bad, the location made up for the room.
The position was excellent for the type of accommodation we required. The staff were helpful and in particular one female called Maria was fantastic. The hotel is quaint and really inexpensive and couldn,t have been better for a couple of nights stay prior to taking our tour from Torremolinas.
It was central and handy to shops in centre of Torremolinos.
very clean comfy room. very helpful and friendly staff. typically spanish, unspoilt and pretty little hotel. would feel inspried to write there!
We liked the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the location for us was perfect.
Central location, friendliness of personell, large room/bath/balcony Smelly sink, strict key deposit
The helpfull and friendly staff.
The El Pozo is nicely situated and the rooms were of high standard, especially the bathroom. It was good to have decent shower pressure for a change Lack of anywhere to lie on a sun terrace. The roof terraces apparently all allocated to specific bedrooms
ease of accesss to town
centr of city = shopping and restorants, v.friendly personal, hotel is placed near supermarkets....
Being in Spain Paid for 2 rooms weeks in advance but desk said only had one. Had to argue for several min show conf. Email & receipt. Finally convinced then I had 2 then had to wait over an hr for it to he ready. It was supposed to be 1 single beds but all they could give us is 2 singles. Advertised pool but it has been closed for yrs. Wifi is only available at the front desk meaning you have to be standing at the front desk to get it. Returned late on the second day after being gone all day only to find our room was left open by cleaning staff that morn.
Nice size room not helpful regarding the use of phones, also television did not work.
The hotel is good value for this money. Located is the very centre of Torremolinos. Can't say the all the receptionists very equally great, but the Argentinian guy tries hard to do his job Beds were not too comfortable. The restaurant was closed during our stay
hotels position you are close to everything
The Air Conditioner
It was not too expensive The staff forgot to tell us that we had to put the card on the room key in a slot to turn the lights. It was a little frustratinf at first.
great area and close to all amienities
location; excellent for town, train station & enjoyable walking distance to beach
When I left. Attitude of the staff (only interested in taking your money), total lack of interest in providing any local information or services offered, standard of room (shower flooding bathroom after just two mins etc).
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Torremolinos. We found it quiet and the room very comfortable. There are several bars nearby for breakfast. The cark park, (under San Miguel Commercial Centre) worked out at 7€ for the 24hours of our stay. We even had access to our room at 11 in the morning. A hairdrier would have been useful.
quiet and price hard to find
The pictures on the website seem to be taken in a different place. The actual rooms are tiny and very badly equipped, rather dirty.
nothing it was very dicusting is like garbage very dirty and unconfortable there are not hot water the breakfast was in bad conditions
the staff was helpful, they always tried to satisfy your wishes, we also could use the facilities after the check out. A great thanks again :) It is allowed to drink and eat your own stuff in the hostel. in this way you can buy yourself a 0.33l can for 0.22 eurocent in the carefour supermarket in the city. a 0.5 l beer in the city costs you approx. 3.00 €. It is only 5 minutes to the city and 10 min to the beach. in general we were satisfied by the hostel. the facilities were not the best one, but they did their job. the breakfast was only toast with 2 different types of marmelade, but i think thats typical for spain. The kitchen was only one single camping plate, which was very slow and you couldn't cook yourself a good meal. You only could make yourself canned food or pasta. for a backpacker it might be ok, but if you will stay there longer or wanna eat something different it becomes hard for you. maybe that the hostel is on a top of a hill could be a disadvantage for it, but for us it wasn't a problem. in general i would recommend the hostel to younger people and not for families. Next to the hostel is a bar, that can be noisy during the night if you get a room wich is directed to the st.
The stuff are very friendly and very kinds, I was also very satisfy about this great value to stay in centre of city.
I liked the fact that the hotel was central and that the staff were very helpful.
nothnig! in one word :horrible
It was very cheap, the hotel staff were nice and the room was all right no...
There was friendly staff In my room the mains in my room was not fixed as wires was loose
The staff was really kind and helpful. The common use and the quality of bathroom caused many problems. At night it is noisy.
The room was clean. Bathroom was usable too. Stairs to the top floor. Most importantly no where to lock your bag in a shared room. Taking cash for the room and not giving a receipt in return. Discovered that a booking fee taken on my card too.
