The King size bed was ok and the refrigerator in the room was a decent size. The shower was dingy with mildew on a few things including the shower head, the first room they tried to give us was supposed to be a non smoking room and smelled like someone had just smoked a pack an hour before.
This is an "okay" kind of place. Good for a weary tired traveler on a short stay. hot breakfast was nice. No hot water and the sink shot out air and popping noises. My wife and I had to take cold showers in the morning.
The complementary breakfast was great and the room was really comfortable! Very close to downtown and had some great restaurants around it! There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom
No issues - clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Not much else to ask for.
Staff polite -- location great -- valets are super nice and accommodating. My husband ordered the room for my daughter & me as a room w/2 beds. Got to room only w/1 bed - we were moved though. He was also not told that Club Level closed on weekends. Really no purpose to stay Club. Expressed this concern to front desk & she pointed out there were more amenities, like a robe & extra toiletries. Only 1 robe (for 2 people) and no extra toiletries. She asked if we booked through an outside source & said oh, that's why you weren't told about club level. This was very disappointing to me. No reason at all to pay the extra for club level.
Location is great for what we needed. Upcharge for wi-fi, escalators didn't work. elevators were VERY SLOW and useless when we needed to get out. Had to let two go by because they were full and then then took fire steps - which only opens to outside and is wired to an alarm which thankfully (or not?) didn't go off . Was told card key would get us out of the parking garage without paying which didn't happen. Cost me $12 to get out.
Time for a renovation
Walls were paper thin. We heard arguments from the room across the hall and sirens from the police station across the street.
No proper guest enquiry service.
Staff was extremely polite and accommodating.
Great linen package Location Staff Bedroom cleanliness Parking Outdated dirty bathroom Tiny tub Running toilet Slowwwwww elevators $400.00 credit card hold Water pressure weak
No pool Thin walls
Nothing to like. Everything is wrong. You would need to wear shoes to walk on the carpet. Roaches in the bathroom. People who look like prostitutes in front of the building. It felt like 100 degrees in the hallway. The AC didn't work properly. So upset. Didn't even stay the night I paid for. Looked like I would catch VD if I slept on the bed.
Nothing the place was terrible and the customer support I received from Kayak and Priceline was even worse Everything the place was dirty and out right disgusting DO NOT STAY HERE!
Booked a Double room online, when I got there they told me it was just a single. Had to pay extra money to change it to a double. Then when I got to the new room it wasn't even clean. After several hours of waiting they finally let me know they were just going to put me in another room. Also the breakfast was the worst I have ever had in a hotel.
NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BEDS HAD ROACHES IN THEM AND THEN THEY MOVED ME TO A SUPPOSEDLY SUITE WHERE THE TV WOULDN'T GO OFF AND THE PHONE IN THE ROOM DIDI NOT WORK I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE IN MY LIFE
We checked in after booking online and the older lady who does not need to be working with the public grilled us with questions about why and what we were checking in for?? Got the room and ants all over the place so got a new room. Oh completely forgot about all the hood looms outside begging for your money and playing music super loud and probably selling crack cocaine!!!! Get a job!! When u drive up and see this u will remember this post and I told u so!!!!!
I never went there because I saw some horrible reviews on TripAdvisor. They should manage their image better. Wyndham is taking a hit to their brand with these bad reviews.
Nothing It was unclean, we found a dead mouse in the cabinet and old molded bread, there was a piece of braded hair that was in the hall way from the day we checked in and still there the day we checked out.
Infested with roaches and rude staff.
The front desk lady was somewhat nice. This place made me gag. I got hit up for money by 7 different people in the lobby and outside area. The staff was the only decent part of this stay. The front desk lady was nice enough, but the professionalism wasn't there. The room was smelly, dirty, and people were so loud and doing drug deals outside of my room. My son watched tv the whole time, and it was too late to change reservations. The sink leaked onto the floor so badly, and there was no plug for the bathtub. The bed was dirty, and bugs were all over the place. I will NEVER stay with this hotel ever again.
NOTHING. One word: ROACHES. This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. I spent 5 minutes in the room and saw three roaches in the bathroom, on the microwave, and in the BED. I got a refund (which still hasn't gone through 2 days later) and left.
Price was good. Didn't like the roaches running everywhere. Hotel needs new management who can disinfect the place or tear down to start over. Econo Lodge or Wingate or Super 8 are the next best place to use Wyndham Rewards
Can' beat the location, can walk to everything TINY bathrooms, no pool
Great location. Everything clean. The person I checked in with was not very friendly or welcoming but rest of the staff we encountered were great.
The location phenomenal. Everything was fantastic, until morning, kind of like when you go out and drunkenly bring someone home. I prepaid for my booking, and so when the front desk asked me for a credit card, I didn't think anything of it. Just to cover incidentals, the clerk said. I woke up to a receipt slid under the door, $7 for parking. I was kinda ticked, but didn't really mind, because we parked in a parking garage, and i figured no major cost, its fine. Breakfast prices were insane. "Breakfast buffet" for 2 with one water and one juice was over $30. I say "buffet" because it was little more than a continental breakfast. On the buffet line were fruit, cereal, milk, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, grits, and oatmeal (maybe I missed an item or two.) The restaurant had terribly poor service, the food was mediocre at best. The night before we went and grabbed dinner at The Burough, within walking distance of the hotel, for 2 entrees, 2 sides, 2 drinks, an appetizer, and amazing service, we paid the same as we did for breakfast.
the bathroom facilities were too low
the room, internet connection, location, safety, hotel staffs.
Free parking, the room was ready and clean when we arrived, the staff was efficient. Front desk attendant was not knowledgeable about area.
The location was within walking distance of many dining establishments. The hotal provided a listing and directions for these eateries. The hotel dining accommodations (decor) could use an update.
Breakfast staff was unfriendly; breakfast is poor
Not even complimentary coffee in lobby for am
You pay for parking per vehicle. They'll give you as many as you want but won't warn you. Not a big issue, and those who travel frequently likely know this. This just took us off guard.
Location, clean and neat Staff was less than competant, initially told me that they had no record of our second room being booked. Told us we would have to call the booking agent to resolve the issue. While waiting for the manager, another clerk came and found the reservation. Our initial person, had in correctly spelled the parties name. Instead of checking, she just told us there was no room available. Restaurant was inadequately staffed. There were only two wait staff and one cook on duty for breakfast, service was very slow and were seating people serving and clearing. Not enough people for a full hotel.
The location however is great. Not far from the belt line. The smell of the room! Being that I travel a lot, I'm aware that most hotels don't clean the filters on the heating units. So the first thing that I do is clean it myself. 95% of the time, it will leave the cloth that was used filthy! It seams that the consumers are getting less for their money when it comes to hotels.
No fan in bathroom working
Good central location for the Raleigh area. Staff are polite and courteous. Beds are comfortable and clean. Good price on the wallet, but you know the saying.... Breakfast was....well, you might prefer to spend the money going out for that. Main elevator was frustratingly slow. 5 to 10 minute wait even though there are only 5 floors. No door whatsoever marking stairs. The other side of the hotel did have stairs, but not marked. The maid always forgot to replenish potty paper.
Liked location, central and close to mall, felt relatively safe. Enjoyed alternate entrance nearer to room. Size of room was great, fridge and microwave a plus. Nice woodsy view outside of windows. Staff was very nice. Pool seemed nice but didn't go. Would stay again, very nice value for the price. I did not love the slow elevators, and they need a not protein at breakfast. Love hard boiled eggs but with three nights it got a bit old. A nice scrambled egg option would make all the difference in this hotel for me. They also needed to vacuum the halls a bit more for overall cleanliness impression. But these wouldn't affect my decision to stay again.
Breakfast and big rooms Not applicable
Staff was very nice and the breakfast was good. It was a little hard to find as there was only a small sign. The plantings were nice and it was well maintained. Other guests - Our room was freezing when we arrived and it was nice weather so we opened the window but had to close is as there were people outside smoking and even though we were on the 4th floor, the smoke came in the window. The people stayed in the parking lot until after midnight and were loud. Also, just as a heads up, we were in a king suite and there was a couch but it was not a sleeper - could only be used as a twin.
The staff was very nice. Location was perfect for us. Tired. Has been remodeled, but .... toilet very old, very low to the floor.
Staff was nice. Enjoyed the experience. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
this place was a bust. the best thing was the location to the wonderful city of raleigh, north carolina Mold in the bathroom, smell of marijuana in the halls creeping into our rooms, the front desk clerks, the paper thin walls, the urine-colored stained towels in the bathroom
Moderate price for downtown. Thank you for having smoking rooms. Ice machine broken. No soap in lobby restroom. AC in room not on when I arrived. Wrong coffee packets for in-room coffee maker. Incomplete set of towels. "KEEP OUT" signs on doors quite tacky.
Location is really excellent! Staff were friendly and we were able to check in early. Comfortable room with good AC. Shower worked well and there were plenty of lighting options. Good value for price paid. There was a sizable gap underneath our main door and we didn't have a do not disturb sign (we could've asked). Also, even though we were checked in the front desk somehow assigned our room to someone else... while we were in it napping.
Location to good restaurants and venues was ideal. The bed was horrible. The blankets had holes in them. The room was musty. The shower wouldn't get hot. There was mold on the wall. The overall room was tiny. The hallways smelled like weed.
Cheap Forgot shampoo, creaky bed.
Comfortable beds. Clean room. Polite and friendly staff at check in. The air conditioning said it was "on" in our room but it never got below 79 degrees F (just a couple degrees cooler than outside). And it wasn't just our room- the hallways were so hot and muggy it felt like an indoor swimming pool (no- there is not one on premise). The WORST part was the horrible random banging and clanging noise the air conditioning made through the night... Constantly woke me up. To be fair, we did not bother to complain to the management, so who knows how they might have handled it. They might have been able to move us to another floor or something but we were exhausted and never gave them the chance to try and make it right.
Room was clean, staff was prompt. Location is great. Bedding/Pillows werent the quality I would had hoped for. Just a couple flat pillows on the bed.
I tried to cancel two weeks before my arrival, yet was still charged for my stay. That was because I booked with Kayak. I will never use kayak again.
In room dining and heated pool with spa. Price of meals.
I loved everything about this hotel! The staff was incredible-from the front desk to the maintenance people. The pool was the nicest hotel pool I have seen. Location could not have been better. I have no complaints about this hotel.
The location was the best thing about the hotel The hotel was not as clean as the others I've stayed in with the same star rating.
The person who checked us in The person who checked me out.. had to wait for coffee. Front desk was very rude ! Pillow cases was dirty. I had to change the shower curtain because it was dirty when we arrived!
Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, room was clean, and cooling system worked perfectly, Service was a little slow.

The location was very nice The front desk clerk gave me a hard time .

Excessive noise above us, disturbing our sleep. Requested complimentary room for unsatisfactory experience. Manager denied request. Have stayed in Extended Stay properties for 27 straight days. Hoped to be treated like the loyal customer that I am.
Salad, who checked us in, and who checked us out. Also the room was very clean. No

It was comfortable and quiet. When I first came into the lobby I had to wait quite a bit for someone to come to the front desk.
The hotel staff and guests were very polite.
Room had clean composite flooring. Convenient to downtown and on way to airport. Safe location. Breakfast was apples and plain oatmeal. Coffee was good.
Spacious rooms; the bathroom was not cluttered. No left turn out of the entrance; pillows were a little too soft.
Nice place to stay in the area. Clean room and was in a safe location. Great value for the price. I would stay there again if in the area. Be careful where you stay in this area. I made the mistake of staying at the Motel 6 in this area to save a few bucks and it was very dangerous. Free breakfast but it's oatmeal, fruit and coffee. If you are looking for a cheap, clean , safe place to stay in the Raligh area this is the best I have found in the area so far if you are trying not to overspend on a motel. The desk guy was nice too. Well done guys. I can't complain. I'm sure I'll be back next time I work in Raleigh.
The room was spacious and clean. When arriving to the PNC arena in Raleigh North Carolina we were immediately disappointed. We booked online thru Kayak and on the website the pictures that were shown for the room that we wanted were not for the room that we received and payed for. So upon arrival we were told that in order to receive the room that we wanted (the one that the pictures were of online) we would have to pay an additional $80 to get. After speaking to the manager about my frustration she was nice enough to lower the additional fee to about $40. When we received our bank statement the next morning we had been charged over $70..we then had to go back and speak to the manager once again, and had to call the bank to have them release the charge and refund us the money, money in which we needed for our trip. That took another day or two to refund to the account. In all we spent about $180 for a two night stay in a room that was nice but mediocre. The shower in the room needed to be remodeled desperately the floor was caved in on either side. The vending machine showed a price for each snack but once you put your money in and paid for it you were charged more. There was also profanity engraved all over the entire elevator door. I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.
I liked the staff, they were very welcoming, and I also liked how the cleaning people did not bother me and were very kind and respectful. The one thing that turned me off was how dirty the floor was, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in months. This could have been an easy fix if they would have just vacuumed it or mopped it before I stayed in the room. The dirty floor made me feel like everything else in the hotel was dirty, which I don't think was true. But I ended up not even sleeping under the covers.
Friendly staff and excellent service. Breakfast was top notch! The bed was perfect!
We loved the amount of space we had in the suite.
The hotel was clean. Loved the alcohol reception and the free breakfast. The hotel was beautiful. I took my grand daughter swimming to the indoor pool and the water in the pool was very cold. Felt 50 or below in temperature. My grand daughter was shivering and unhappy because we could not stay. The jacuzzi was too hot for her to get in as she is only two.
Thebreakfast was very good. And could be made to order. They were very few luggage racks available. And the staff did nothing to help you, even after being requested to do so, to help you find one. The elevator is under construction and so there are very long wait times to use the elevator. Lastly I reserved a room with two doubles and when I got there I was informed they didn't have to honor that and gave me a king instead.I had three adults in my party said this was less than ideal. The person who had to sleep in the front sitting room area was kept up all night by the music that was played in the atrium all night
The room service was awesome, staff super helpful. It was under construction at the time.
Location was alright close to 440. Trash on the floor upon my entry (wrappers). Loud profane occupants nearby until 2 am on a weekday. The front desk had my credit card info but, I do not carry my credit card. I was told I had to give them my debit card, email them my card info to an unsecur Gmail server or give them 50$ cash for any incidentals. This seemed to be an attempt to commit credit card fraud. I resisted. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a restful nights sleep before an interview or business meeting. Simply put, it was unprofessional, uncleanly and riddled with trash left behind by the cleaning crew. The sheets also we stained by a blue pen and clearly had not been bleached.
Nothing The sheets, towels, carpet, shower, sink everything was dirty. The sheets were yellow, there was mildew all over the shower, the carpet was filthy, the towels had toothpaste and other stains in them. The place was filthy. There was also prostitution going on. There was a pimp who came and picked one of the girls up and there was another one in a couple of rooms down from mine. I only stayed there because i had just finished a long drive from new york.
comfortable bed My towels were dirty.
Free bananas. Quiet in the room. Stones throw from the highway. There should be a zero-star option. I certainly don't think my room was cleaned before my stay - if ever. I didn't feel comfortable with my bare feet on the carpet. I bought a towel at a local store because I doubted the cleanliness of the towels in the room. Something was in the microwave. Broken furniture. No available outlets.
Horribly dirty! Horribly dirty!
The Staff was very courteous & help. The rooms were dingy and drab. I had to be moved to another room due a leak or over flow, that create a large blister above the tub.
It stunk like dead cheese had to spray some cologne to to masked the smell. The bathroom smelt like smoke all the time with the amount of money spent i could have easily found a better place to stay at .
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shower was really above average. Location wasn't bad either. Nothing I can really think of specifically. The room didn't smell very good but I bought a smoking room.
The room it was infested with bugs – I was bitten all over by the morning – it woke me up in the middle of the night. I don't know if they were bedbugs or something else, but I warn everyone - don't stay here. It's also right next to the highway and quite noisy.
It was cheap. It was close and easy to get to RDU airport. Close to a restraunt, in the same parking lot. Pool was clean and well maintained. Rooms were not clean. I could hear people outside and in surrounding rooms clearly. No USB ports in the room. Only one available outlet without unplugging other things in the room. Not a flat screen tv, cable reception was horrible, many of the channels listed in the room were just static. Pillows sucked.
For my purposes, this place is fine. The location is great with easy access from different highways. I stay at this hotel because of the price. It is good enough for what I am willing to spend. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and the front desk staff has always been less than cooperative. I think all the different people who work at the front desk must take training in having a bad attitude.
In City Center, helpful front desk staff, comfortable bed. Very high cost for City size. When asked was lied to about parking and Internet access. Was told that hotel parking was valet only for $30. This was wrong. You can self park for $12 though we parked one block away for $7. Also, was told Internet access was $10 per day. Lies. There was free Hotel 24 hour Internet Access for free, albeit slower but ok for email and general internet access. When we went to breakfast at 9am, there was no staff and we had to ask front desk and suddenly 6 staff members suddenly appeared. Not acceptable for this class of hotel. Breakfast was over priced for what you get.
Friendly, staff at the front desk were very happy and helpful. We were able to check in when we arrived without delay. We felt safe and secure. The Rye restaurant offered a evening meal buffet special and it was great. Although the hotel was hosting multiple events, it did not feel overcrowded or too busy. Road closure preventing returning to hotel during the race. It would have been nice to show a hotel vouchered to gain access to a way/or escort to the parking area.
Location Confusion on parking...was attending a motorcycle event in the area
I liked the location, tranquility and view from the eight floor (mostly to the woods). Only one elevator. Once didn't work and my lady friend had to use the stairs.
Room hadn't been cleaned prior to check in. I requested new towels and linens to be brought when I went to dinner. When I returned from dinner these actions had not been taken. When I asked to change rooms, I was scolded for not being available to take the front desk's phone call concerning new amenities b/c I was out to dinner. I was also scolded for not letting the front desk know about the dirty room when I checked in at 3 - I didn't notice until getting ready for dinner. The unclean room I was checked in to wasn't my problem and I should have been given a new room without receiving a million questions.
Location, close to restaurants, like able staff. Enjoyed the security guard they had Thought we had reserved a two bed room, found out it only had one. Staff was able to give us a portable bed.
The favorite part of my stay was the hotel staff. The staff was so friendly and nice. They were able to assist me with all my needs and did just that. When I return to Raleigh I will stay again. I really didn't like having to go downstairs to get a snack from the machine. Although it was vending on my floor (5th) there was no snack machine, only drinks and ice.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the day staff is fine. All of our problems were with the inadequately trained night staff. Due to numerous flight delays, we arrived late, around 3 a.m. The only staff there was the night auditor and the security guard. The computers were running nightly reports, so while the night auditor could see our reservation, he apparently lacked either the training or the authority to get us into our already-paid-for room until the reports finished. After waiting in the lobby for a half hour, with a fussy baby, he informed us that the report he had insisted on continuing had just marked us as no-shows, charged us, and canceled our reservation. He then offered to check us in at the walk-in rate, about 50% higher than we had reserved online, in addition to our reservation that had already been charged. After a half hour of arguing, and booking.com customer service attempting to convince him to honor our reservation, he offered us a slightly reduced rate, but still charging us twice. I informed him that I was going to get my attorney (family members staying in the same hotel) to explain his obligations to him. As I was explaining the situation to my family, at 4 a.m., he called my cell phone to inform me that it had been taken care of, and apologized profusely. I don't know what changed, but it was clear that he was not adequately trained in the hospitality industry, and lacked the authority to override his computer system that every desk clerk who has ever checked me in late has either had or not needed. He eventually made it right, but only after making a very long and stressful day even longer and more stressful. On a positive note, everything else was fine. If they'd just keep an actual hospitality worker on staff at night, this would probably be a 5 star review. I hope they don't discipline him for this, because it wasn't his fault. He was just in way over his head.
Rachael was very very nice and accomedating. Additional, her staff was very helpful.
The breakfast was welcome -- waffles, etc.
I really liked staying at the Hampton Inn Raleigh-North. It was excellent service and warm and cordial staff. There is no in house restuarant or cafe where at odd hours, we need some snacks or food as international travellers.
The staff was very responsive and helpful. It was great to breakfast included and there were enough good choices to suit both of us. The hotel felt a little tired although clean. It is in need of a good overhaul not just a little fixing up here and there especially since it sits right behind an nicely updated Courtyard by Marriott.
