Pros: We had an absolutely fabulous holiday in great part due to the amazing team at the Auberge Sainte-Antoine. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is well located in the lower city with easy access to the river front and the funicular to upper town. Madame Quay arranged multiple events for our group with great success. The entire staff were always courteous and knowledgable. Make sure to take advantage of the Penache Restaurant on the property for breakfast and dinner. I will be back!!
Pros: The heated bathroom floor was fabulous and the rooms were great! It was a very special hotel and museum all in one.
Panache restaurant was the best for breakfast and dinner! Superb!!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!!
In the heart of Quebec City's Old Port, this stylish boutique hotel faces the St. Lawrence River. The popular Musée de la Civilisation is adjacent. The many shops and cafés of rue St-Paul are less than 300 yards away.
Guests can enjoy free WiFi. The hotel's Panache restaurant showcases gourmet French-Canadian cuisine and is housed within the walls of a maritime warehouse built in 1822. The casual Café Artefact is open from late morning till late evening. Room service is available. The 24-hour gym includes a Finnish sauna. Complimentary yoga classes are held Saturday mornings. Massage therapy, manicures and pedicures and personal training are available. Auberge St-Antoine by Relais & Châteaux also offers a private screening room, concierge desk, business center, and ATM/banking. Children receive teddy bears on arrival and the concierge can assist with planning children's activities.
Beds are layered with luxury linens and goose-down duvets and pillows. The 94 rooms also offer complimentary high-speed Internet access, minibars, and pay movies. Bathrooms come with makeup/shaving mirrors, bathrobes, deep soaking tubs, and designer toiletries. Most guestrooms include flat-screen TVs and Nespresso coffeemakers.
Pros: Everything was perfect. Breakfast was great!
Pros: Room was well designed. Bed was really comfortable. Beautifil view of Chateau Frontenac from our bedroom. Easy accessiblity to rest of city. Easy parking. Services were excellent.
Cons: We stayed on the 7th floor, and it was still a bit loud (external noise from people on the street late at night, and also some internal noise from other guests in the hallway).
Wi-fi was very spotty in our room.
At Le Germain Hotel Quebec, youll stay in a century-old building in Quebec Citys Old Port. Once named Germain-Dominion, it retains all the cachet and contagious charm of this grand era. We have preserved the original woodwork and stones to create a mix of classic and contemporary architecture. Youll be both impressed and seduced by the warm, luxurious and welcoming atmosphere as well as the unparalleled service of our dedicated staff.
Pros: The lobby and guest room were modern and beautiful. The staff was especially welcoming and warm. The lobby was decorated with contemporary comfortable sofas, open spaces with burning candles, wine bar, Nespresso coffee machines, wood and stone walls. The well-designed shower, bath and guest room were spacious and tastefully decorated. The room had a Nespresso machine, which I enjoyed. Additionally, our room had huge windows with a beautiful view. Adjoining the hotel was a restaurant with great food including breakfast (which was included with our room) and a full bar. This was a very enjoyable stay.
Cons: Our room-included breakfast was not available until 8:00. Due to the late time breakfast was served, we could not avail ourselves of the amenity that was included with our room. There were a number of electronic devices in our room, which was nice, but it made operating the TV much more complicated.
Pros: Bikes! No car needed. Walking distance to everything including Ferry and train station
The staff, especially Antoine the bellman and Maxime the concierge
Cons: That we only spent 3 nights.
When you stay at Hotel 71, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Place Royale and Citadelle of Quebec. Guests can indulge in massages, and Restaurant Il Matto serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a 24-hour fitness center are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at compared to many throughout the world. Will be staying long term when I decide to write my book. Room, location and of course the staff were outstanding. wE REALLY WERE GUESTS AND ARE NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW. Also, this is the first review we have ever done. COMPUTERS ####%^^#@@#$%!!!
Cons: HAVING TO CHECK OUT
Cons: One issue I had was when I was given my credit card receipt it was not itemised, so I had no idea if the valet charge was included. I therefore paid the valet guy separate for the valet parking. Then, when I later went over the credit card bill it appears that I had been charged for the valet on the credit card bill. An itemised receipt would have made me aware of this. Other than that I have no complaints, but I think this is something that is easily rectified.
Pros: Extremely helpful staff, I twice stayed here in one week, fourth floor of the hotel hard by the church square. The rooms are spacious and darkly handsome with just the night accents of decor. Love the rich wood floors and doors, roomy bathrooms and just everything.
Cons: I travel a lot and honestly cannot demerit the hotel for anything. From directions to restaurant recommendations to central location in old Montreal to handout umbrellas on a rainy Wednesday, Place d'Armes came through.
Pros: Very helpful staff. Great location. Clean. Quiet. Great breakfast which is included in the price. Overall excellent value at $160 per night.
Cons: Very hard to find the hotel. Room was very small with a shower made entirely of glass in the bedroom itself. Room was very small.

Pros: Lived everything about this hotel: proximity to restaurants, shopping, art, and more and the staff was not only incredibly nice but really helped us enjoy our stay more with day trip suggestions. Tania is the best front desk staffer we met!
Intimate Auberge overlooking the Old City, Contemporary Hotel overlooking the St. Lawrence RiverLe Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive's two-century-old facade bring to mind a stately hotel where warm interiors enhanced with hardwood floors, stone walls and brickwork make it one of the most sought-after boutique hotels in Qubec.A distinctive hotel located in the heart of the Old Port district, Le Saint-Pierre enjoys a simply ideal location. Poetic names such as rue Sault-au-Matelot, rue Sous-le-Cap and rue des Pains-Bnits appeal visitors to wander back 400 years in time to Place-Royale, the cradle of Qubec City. On the hotels doorstep, let yourself be tempted by exclusive boutiques, antique dealers and art galleries, the very accomplices of Qubec Citys countless bistros, cafe-terrasses, restaurants and gastronomys top dining addresses.Only steps away from the pier promenade and Qubec Citys Old Port also a prestigious stopover for the worlds most sumptuous cruiseships Le Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive is tucked away in a 19th century heritage building. Once prominently positioned among Qubec Citys leading financial temples and set in the oldest of downtown neighbourhoods, today Le Saint-Pierre, auberge distinctive stands proudly alongside another Old Qubec cultural icon, the highly acclaimed Muse de la Civilisation, known for the audacity of its exhibitions.Le Saint Pierre, auberge distinctive, brings together the top-notch services of a grand hotel with the authenticity of a cozy hotel, in Old Qubec.
Pros: The hotel is in the best location for someone wanting to see different parts of Quebec City. The staff is very well trained and seems to try to exceed expectations. This is a gorgeous historic hotel that has been extensively renovated. The pool and spa, all the restaurants, etc. are at or above the standards of what you will find in more modern luxury hotels. Based on my experience, I would recommend staying in one of the traditional decor rooms (preferably beginning 62##).
Cons: Initially, we were offered an upgrade to one of the remodeled rooms, but we thought the window was very small and the room felt rather claustrophobic. So, we asked to be put back in the traditional decor, unrenovated rooms and found it to be much larger and comfortable with a double window and a great view. Of course, these two rooms (out of the 600 in the hotel) likely were not representative of all the remodeled/traditional room layouts. Just my experience.
Pros: Beautiful interior and exterior, pool and related facilities were generously appointed.
Cons: Small room (even the "deluxe" room). Comfortable bed, but not THAT comfortable; my bed at home is much more so. There is a charge for every single thing... $16 a day for internet access is a joke, $36 a day for valet parking, $18 for a small pour cocktail at the bar. If I had it to do again, I'd stay somewhere else and visit the Chateau. Unless you are loaded and the money means nothing to you, I'd suggest the same.
Pros: All staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
Pros: Well kept facility and competent staff.
Would come again.
Cons: But . . . you run a luxury hotel.
And then you do a Motel 6 maneuver and charge people for WiFi in their room.
I would expect this from an American airline company (the worst customer service businesses on the planet), but not from a top-end hotel chain.
Pros: Beautiful hotel, friendly and super accommodating staff. Wish we had more time to use the pool and to relax at the lounge area by the pool. It is close o all. We will go back again.
Cons: Parking is pricy. We got complimentary water the first day and then no more afterwards. Water is $8 a bottle in the room! Lobby could use some updating.
Pros: The renovated room and view
Cons: We were first provided a non renovated room that was not clean, requires a lot of maintenance. Our AC didn't work, ceiling and the mirror lights didn't work. On the 2nd day we informed the desk while heading out in the morning. The issues were not rectified upon our return. We called again prior to leaving for dinner. Upon our return, we noticed the lights were fixed but the AC didn't work all night. Neither was any follow through from the hotel regarding the issues. No follow up call to the room to check on us. Not a luxury service. On the 3rd morning I called and asked for the manager and the AFOM said she would upgrade to renovated room and waive the $40 upcharge as if it was a favor. We had not slept the night before and gladly accepted the offer.
Pros: Location, architecture, overall experience, elegance, staff readiness to please, convenience
Cons: Phones in the room didn't work, dental kit took too long to get delivered,
Pros: The location was fantastic. The pool area and terrace. The architecture and history of the building. Staff was wonderful.
Cons: Crowded, expensive, no wifi, average room.
Pros: Staying in a historic building in a great city. Didn't touch the car for 4 days. Great dining both in and around the hotel at a number of spots. Unbelievable views.
Cons: Only that I didn't plan on a longer stay.
Pros: The hotel staff is very professional and helpful, and location is close to most travel attractions. It's a landmark hotel with signifiant history.
Pros: The location in Old Town can't be beat. The staff was very helpful in suggesting & reserving dinner. Handled room issue with free upgrade when I didn't accept lesser room.
Cons: First impressions: a disaster! Tried to give us a double bed for our king reservation. Two of the three elevators were down. Took an hour for bags to make up to room. No towels in room when we arrived. The white wine had been used & filled with water!
Pros: Wonderful location, elegant hotel with great view and nice bar.
Cons: No concierge available much of the time. Elevator not always operating.
This world-renowned icon dominates the Quebec City skyline with its unique architecture. Ideally located inside the walls of Old Quebec, the landmark luxury hotel has undergone a multimillion dollar renaissance project that has repositioned it as one of the world's leading hotels. The restoration blends the charm of the hotels enchanting past with modern innovations, creating an allure that is fresh and seductive, balanced with the hotels rich history and dynamic future.
Pros: Proximity to all the attractions of Old Quebec make this an excellent and tasteful choice for the discerning traveller. Staff are warm and well presented. The hotel is very clean, and rooms comfortable. Meticulous! Well done, Manoir Victoria!
Cons: Paying $23 per day for parking, though I understand it, remains disappointing.
Located in the heart of the historic, culturally vibrant and gastronomic activity of Old Quebec, Hotel Manoir Victoria extends a warm and friendly welcome in an inviting decor that was recently renovated and upgraded: 156 rooms and suites. Pros: Friendly staff, nice breakfast, close to the city.
Hotel & Suites Le Dauphin Quebec is in Quebec City's business district, a 10-minute drive from Old Town. Guests can enjoy a carriage tour of Old Quebec, or walk its cobblestone streets before refueling at Euro-style cafés. The cultural sights of Le Capitole are 9 km (5.6 miles) from the hotel.
Cons: You can hear people walking in corridor. Sound proofing could be better.
Pros: Good value for money. It's modern in design and kept up well: good for people like myself that have pretty gross dust allergies. It's also pretty simple to get into QC from this hotel: just a right, another right and a scenic drive down 136 and you're there.
Pros: Staff was so polite

Pros: Spacious, attractive and very clean. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Location was great and a short walk to shopping and Restaraunts.
Cons: Firm bed. We were on the third floor. No elevators.
Pros: Very nice rooms. Comfortable, nice kitchen facilities, well-maintained. Private. The sauna is clean, well operated and serves as the main aspect of the business.
Cons: It would be nice to see a wider variety of clients in the sauna. I stayed 2 nights, mid-week... most clients were 55yrs and over. There were sometimes long waits to get access to the lobby/ reception: staff weren't always in attendance and on one occasion, did not arrive even after 10 minutes waiting, numerous bell ringing.
Located in Old Quebec, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Parc de l'Artillerie, Place Royale, and Parliament Building. Citadelle of Quebec and Battlefields Park are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: The location is perfect for tourism in the old city. The bell staff took care of our car and luggage efficiently and were very helpful. They park in the underground lot below city hall right across the street. You can self park at lower cost but the lot fills up. Hotel is old but very well maintained.
Cons: Our room was very small. But everything worked well and it was clean.
Pros: Room was great for sleeping! Bathroom amenities were lovely! Bi-lingual staff. Wi-if. Accessible to all important sites. Old world charm.i
Cons: I could only open my closet door a few inches since it was blocked by a bed.
Pros: For an extra $20, they had no problem in moving me to a room with a desk and terrific views. I had a ton of work to do and the room was quiet and comfortable and allowed me to get it done ahead of an important meeting.
The bed was super comfortable. Just wish I'd had more time to sleep!

Cons: . .
Pros: Very nice room with courteous staff. Pleasantly surprised by the place.
Cons: The bar dud not open until late and the restaurant didn't serve dinner but with all of the bars and restaurants in Old Town, this didn't seem to pose a problem.
Pros: Location central to sites in old town
Pros: Loved the location! Staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: Rooms were very small. Parking. Taxes! Most of all, my grandson forgot his stuffed animal, Curious George, in room 622, there was no response to communication and he was not able to get it back! This is devastating for a 3 year old! I still hope that that can happen!
