HOTEL CINCO22 offers pet-friendly accommodations in Puerto Vallarta. Certain rooms feature views of the sea or city. A flat-screen TV is available. You will find a shared kitchen at the property. The nearest airport is Lic. Gustavo Diaz Ordaz Airport, 5 miles from HOTEL CINCO22.
Pros: Well maintained property with stunning views of the ocean form it's hilltop location. If you are looking for a Ocean side property this is not it. If you are looking to relax in nice rooms with stunning ocean views, enjoy a great breakfast(included), enjoy a great uncroweded pool and being 5 minute taxi ride to Old Town or the beach then this is the spot. Hotel staff very friendly too.
Cons: We rented a Jr Suite, but I think the language is a bit of an barrier, as I understand a Suite is a bedroom with a living room, but at this hotel a suite is a nice well appointed (single) bedroom with bath.
Pros: Loved the VIEW! Dinner was like sitting in front of a painting every night. Beautiful luxurious rooms - we had a view of the sea and mountains from the shower looking out through the bedroom. Plenty of space and small kitchenette for those not doing all inclusive. Incredibly clean and well maintained, and the staff are terrific and work so hard - five star feel at a great price. Excellent gym. Exquisite presentation of food, though menus are limited - they do make special accommodations. Affordable services at the spa. We traveled in the off-season of July and it was at an incredibly low occupancy, so lots of room at pools. Relaxed dress code - can wear shorts or jeans to dinner. AMAZING SUNSETS!
Cons: Hard to get to town - the winding cobblestone road up the mountain makes for a bumpy cab ride. Not on the beach, but access to two 'beach clubs' with transportation from resort during daylight hours ($50 voucher for all-inclusive patrons to use at Blue Shrimp or Mantamar Beach Club). Some reviewers say they walk to town but there is no way I would make it back up the hill! Cabs are about 80 pesos each way. Nothing is nearby the hotel but the views and setting of the hotel are fantastic. If you are looking for nightlife, this isn't the place - this is a smaller, quieter, boutique style hotel. Only one restaurant is currently open - the other is under construction. (There is construction noise and they were even working at 11pm on a Sunday!) They rotate between two menus every other night, so the food did get old quickly. Very formal service at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No buffets (which can be good, but we like a serve-yourself breakfast) due to low occupancy. Dinners take over an hour and a half and you must sign for EVERYTHING, even a bottle of water. The 'snack bar' at the pool is good and is open for lunch through about 7pm. If you are all-inclusive, there are several menu items that have a 'charge', and you will be charged a 15% service fee for room service. If it is raining, there isn't much to do and very few of the TV channels are in English.
Grand Miramar All Luxury Suites & Residences features a rooftop terrace and puts you within a 15-minute drive of Malecon. Guests can visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or hydrotherapy, and Cielito Lindo, one of 2 restaurants, serves Mexican cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner. There are 4 outdoor pools and 2 bars/lounges at this luxurious resort, along with in-room conveniences like kitchens and sofa beds.
Pros: The beach was nice. The Italian Restaurant was adults only. We ate there all 3 nights of our stay. The staff was great and the resort very clean, as we have mostly found to be true in Mexico.
Cons: We were there celebrating our 35th anniversary. This was not the place for a tranquil vacation. There were lots of children and families. They bused in people on Saturday, and picked them up on Sunday. The resort was very crowded, particularly the pool. The food was mostly buffets. The snack bar served a greasy hamburger that smelled great and tasted even better.
Pros: Great service, outstanding food, beautiful resort. Many other guests were raving too. Best beachfront hotel for the money we've ever stayed in. Will definitely be back.

Cons: Front desk staff not well trained. problems with check in, rooms not ready in a timely fashion
Pros: The location. Ocean views. Pool area.
Cons: The food could be better around the pool. Mikado was great as usual. The coffee shop could be better organized for order taking, paying. The bar is very nice and great atmosphere.
Pros: The staff at the front desk and in lobby area, plus concierge went above and beyond to ensure we were assisted in a timely fashion.
The proximity to walk over to the Vallarta Marina was great.
Cons: The drinks on-site are very expensive.
Pros: clean hotel near dining and downtown. value was good for what we got through booking.com. staff was mostly friendly.
Cons: only issue i had was when i requested a late check out, they refused. i asked to speak to a manager and they changed their mind and gave me an extra hour. just seemed weird, it was the first time i've ever been told no on a late check out request at any hotel.
Pros: The Marina area is less congested than the Zona Romantica which gives the whole area a laid back feel. The pool was a great size and you steps away from the beach. Easy bus transportation to other parts of town. Several restaurants in the area if you don't want hotel food. The public areas were nice with decorated with a certain flair.
Cons: I expected more luxe giving the relatively high price - not Four Seasons standards but maybe a little more. The rooms were nice enough but the decor seemed to lack a certain Mexican spark. The rooms were more like generic hotel rooms - nice but generic.
Pros: The resort staff was amazing beyond any expectations. Friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to assist guests in any way. The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend this resort to anyone and plan to come back soon. Thank you Daniel, Marco, Alan and Adrian. There are more people I would like to thank but I didn't get their names but they were great.

Pros: The hotel was literally about 3 min from the airport, but even though it's so close you don't hear all the noise that comes with. Wing close to airports. The breakfast was delicious and there is an excellent. Also go to the restaurant Alta it's great.
Cons: We only requested 1 key card for the room because we were only staying 1 night, and you need your key card to turn on all the lights and electricity in the room, which we didn't know in advance. So always get at least 2 cards so if 1 person leaves.
Pros: Since it is pretty early for heavy tourist traffic, the rate was unbelievable.. Beautiful pool, great restaurant, free full breakfast. Very modern. Professional staff. Nice exercise room. Loved it.
Pros: Staff always accommodating
Pros: THE ROOM WAS LIKE NEW . THE BED WAS INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE. THE ROOMS AIRCONDITIONING WORKED PERFECT. ..... I HAD A PROBLEM EXCHANGING MONEY AT THE BANK NEXT DOOR TO THE HOTEL, AND THE HOTEL ASST. MANAGER WENT TO BANK THE BANK TO HELP WITH SITUATION !!!
Cons: IT COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE CLOSER TO THT BEACH BUT IT WAS ONLY A 8 MINUTE TAXI RIDE (TAXI RIDE $5 DOLLARS U.S)
Pros: Close to airpOrt. Great restaurant across parking lot. Big grocery supermarket just across the street.Marina food and shopping just a few blocks south. Great complementary breakfast.
Cons: Small pool area.
Pros: Standards met rooms staff breakfast pool Area location Would stay again
Pros: Rooms are big and seem newish. Takes a bus ride to get to the beach. Nice clientele. Desk was very helpful.
Pros: A very nice modern hotel. Rooms were spacious. Staff was helpful. Learn to take the bus because it is away from the beaches and away from downton. Breakfast was included and it was delicious.
Cons: Location. Safe neighborhood but nothing ingesting near by. Great place for a short stay.
Pros: The breakfast was great and the service at breakfast was great.
Cons: The staff does not respect your belongings that you leave behind your room. I left my sun glasses and when I came back I had no sun glasses.
Pros: Clean and modern
Pros: The room is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. For the price, this is an excellent choice- It is walking distance to the marina area that has many restaurants, shopping and attractions. The breakfast is also good.
Cons: The pool is not the greatest.
Pros: Everything is new and clean. Well maintained
Cons: Could have been closer to the beach area

Pros: We got the best room at the hotel top floor and with a perfect view of the city and beach also mountain the service was just perfect the food everything was just what we wish for could be happier by picking this hotel if you plan on going you won't go wrong Picking this hotel!
At Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta, you can spend time at the beach enjoying beach umbrellas, yoga, and volleyball, plus you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Malecon. 3 outdoor pools provide fun for everyone, while guests in the mood for pampering can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, and body wraps. Hiroshi, one of 7 restaurants, serves Japanese cuisine and is open for dinner. 3 poolside bars and 3 bars/lounges are onsite, and rooms at this luxurious resort offer up nice touches like private spa tubs and iPod docks.
Pros: Beautiful grounds, suites nice w/ great views, pools, bars.
Restaurants were good for breakfast, lunch and dinner - open all day long.
Cooking classes, karaoke, dancing, etc.
Cons: Only issue we had was that the Mariachi band played in the lobby until 2am, which included trumpets playing loudly. Some guests took that party to their rooms after causing a disturbance.
We called front desk and resort compensated us with a couple of $90 spa certificates (hour massage) as well as champagne and choc-covered strawberries. Appreciated that.
Pros: The grounds are lovely and the staff is great. The access to the beach is a real bonus. Senate at all three restaurants and the food was a cut above what I had initially expected, especially the breakfasts. The rooms are a little Spartan, but honestly very comfortable and extremely clean.
Cons: There is no real bar. People hang at the pool all day and they serve drinks in the lobby and restaurants at night, but there isn't a regular bar anywhere on property. Given the amount of alcohol the staff has to run and get (even delivering to rooms) it would seem everyone would be happier with a place that had some music To hang out in. Likely they view the lobby this way, but the ambiance is wrong. It's my only complaint.
Placing you just a 5-minute drive from Bay of Banderas, Velas Vallarta Suites Resort All Inclusive offers a private beach where you can enjoy beach umbrellas, beach massages, and volleyball. There's plenty of fun with the 2 outdoor pools and lazy river, and guests in the mood for pampering can visit the spa to indulge in massages, aromatherapy, and mani/pedis. Andrea, one of 2 restaurants, serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 2 bars/lounges and a rooftop terrace are other highlights at this upscale resort, and rooms offer up nice touches like free minibar items and comfy beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: The friendliness of the team members and the great dining options with no reservations needed.
Cons: The overcast weather, was wishing for more sun!
Pros: The bed was super comfy! Loved that bed.
Cons: Throngs of American tourists.
At Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive, you can spend time at the beach enjoying beach umbrellas, volleyball, and beachside drinks, plus you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Malecon. 4 outdoor pools provide fun for everyone, while guests in the mood for pampering can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, and mani/pedis. Casa Grande, one of 5 restaurants, serves Mexican cuisine and is open for dinner. 2 poolside bars and 2 bars/lounges are onsite, and rooms at this luxurious resort offer up nice touches like free minibar items and MP3 docks.
Pros: The service was top notch. Facilities outstanding. Food was good.
Cons: I have nothing negative about this place. They took care of me from the moment I arrived until I checked out.
Pros: Attended the wedding of my best friend with no date, at this VERY romantic resort and had a GREAT time! Not a place to meet singles as it's mostly couples but there are so many things to do that the time simply flew by (but didn't feel like it at the same time)! The staff was INCREDIBLE!
Pros: I loved the room in the preferred with jacuzzi on the balcony. And the preferred bar. Most of the staff was nice, some others were nicer if you tipped. Pools and view were top notch.
Cons: Other all inclusive resorts I've been at included some free excursions this one had none and not many daily activities to choose from. The options on food was limited on options and time. Only loved one restaurant, Bordeaux. Dress code requirements were a bit restrictive, should have more options for lenient dress. DON'T BUY LIQUOR ON THE CITY TOUR! COMPLETE RIP OFF!
At Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive, you can hit the beach to enjoy the shade from a beach umbrella or relax in a sun lounger, plus you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Uno. 3 outdoor pools provide fun for everyone, while guests in the mood for pampering can visit the spa to indulge in massages, body wraps, and body scrubs. Market Cafe, one of 7 restaurants, serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 2 bars/lounges and a nightclub are other highlights at this luxurious resort, and rooms offer up nice touches like free minibar items and deep soaking tubs.
Pros: Staff was unconditional, very friendly and respectful. The pools were clean at all times as well as the whole property. The room was always clean and well maintained
Their food is really good. Must try the japanese restaurant
The beach is beautiful try snorkeling in there they have very cute fish.
Cons: Sometimes, the trolley took forever. And if you are planning on leaving the property early before the trolley starts operating try to walk to the lobby because when we had our excursion to marrietas islands we called for a ride to the lobby ( we were in tower 5) and they never made it. We had to walk to the lobby and then wait for a taxi in the lobby. We ended up being late to the excursion meeting time. But were lucky enough to get in to the boat.
Pros: I hardly ever take the time to review places I've stayed, but I felt the need to share my opinion on this one...
My fiance and I recently stayed 3 nights in the honeymoon suite, and we couldn't have been happier! The room (and the entire resort) was gorgeous, the food and drinks were great, and the staff were all sooo friendly and accommodating. It was luxury & relaxation at its finest, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone! We are missing it already :)
Pros: Beautiful atmosphere, large room, good food.
Cons: They sneakily roped us into a VERY unpleasant time share presentation and were pretty rude about it. We only stayed for 1 night so they basically soured our entire opinion of the place. You also need to take a shuttle and go through a bunch of annoying stairs or elevators just to get from your room to the main lobby.
Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa sits on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, within easy reach of Playa Gemelas, Los Arcos, and El Eden. Also nearby are Playa Mismaloya and Nayar Golf Course.
Pros: Staff was very nice. The facilities were clean. It did not promise anything it did not deliver.
Cons: The price was the same as the 5-star hotels 25 minutes south. My reason for staying at Villa Premier was that is was close into town. But the surrounding area kind of sucked. And Puerto Vallarta is not a super nice place and I would suggest to stay in a higher end place and venture out once a day into town.
Location. This beachfront Puerto Vallarta property is in the South Hotel Zone, near the Teatro Vallarta, Marina Vallarta, and El Malecon. There are also many restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and a thriving nightlife nearby.
Hotel Features. Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway provides exceptional service for all-Inclusive and room-only rate plans. It has 2 outdoor pools, a steam room, a sauna, and a full-service spa. There are also 3 onsite restaurants, 2 bars, one is poolside. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Business guests will appreciate the hotel's meeting room and ballroom, as well as the complimentary valet parking.
Guestrooms. Amenities featured in the 83 oceanfront guestrooms include coffee/tea makers, in-room safes, and minibars stocked with free items. Free WiFi access and direct-dial phones. Guestrooms have 40-inch LED TVs with digital programming and premium channels. Ensuite bathrooms feature bathrobes and hair dryers.
Pros: The Resort was pretty spot on and the lobby was simply stunning. We stayed on the 9th floor and got a great view of the beach and the surrounding area. Hotel staff was friendly and there were plenty of drinks. Family friendly resort
Cons: Not exactly for younger couples looking to party. The resort next door looked like they were having a blast the entire time. Friendly Vallarta next door is where the party was happening: DJ, Mariachi, Banda, they had everything. I fee like Fiesta Americana should do something similar if not bigger. Not too much of a bummer though, quick taxi ride to where all the night life is happening
Pros: Great people, food and drinks
Cons: Had to leave to early to go to the airport
Pros: Loved everything about this place. Great food, great selection of beers and cocktails as part of the all inclusive package.
Cons: My only complaint would be that the beds could be a bit more comfortable.
Pros: The pool and beach were wonderful. The food was great. Loved the omelette, smoothie and quesadilla stations for breakfast. The fish tacos are a must! The grill not only offered hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken wings but guacamole and pico. The rooms were all pool and ocean view and very adequate.
But what really stood out was the staff. Not only were they friendly and accommodating to the guests but never saw any impatience or aggravation between coworkers.
We WILL be back to Puerto Vallarta and it WILL be at Fiesta Americana.
Pros: Staff is very friendly and polite, always willing to please the customer. Comfortable bed. . Hotel pillows very hard. Very nice small beach, pool. Nice bar in the lobby that stays open late. The Ceviche was great at the restaurant by the beach. Beach waiters are excellent.
Cons: Not being able to accommodate large groups in restaurants, only one table for 8 people in each restaurant, and always taken. Waiters were not permitted to join 2-3 tables to accommodate my party. Tables available at buffet but not too many choices of food, gets tiring after few days. In order to share some meals together as a family we end up eating out at La Leche and town restaurants, spending money not in budget. Would not recommend for groups with more than 5 people.
Pros: The staff worked realy hard to make a pleasant experience.
Cons: The food was satisfactory at best. Not a good value for the money. Service to time share holders was a priority, the rest of the guests were given less attention.
Pros: All around great stay!!!!!
Within a 10-minute drive of Fiesta Americana - Puerto Vallarta, guests can watch the boats come in at the picturesque marina, and see the sun set over the Bay of Banderas. The pedestrian shopping precinct of Plaza Caracol is a short walk away, and El Malecón Boardwalk makes for a pleasant stroll.
Pros: The resort was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was great and the kids club was a highlight for my girls (8 and 6).
We would definitely go back and have already recommended the resort to friends.
At Now Amber Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa - All Inclusive, you can spend time at the beach enjoying beach umbrellas, beachside drinks, and sun loungers, plus you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Uno. 3 outdoor pools provide a splash of fun, while guests in the mood for pampering can visit the spa to indulge in massages, body wraps, and aromatherapy. Carnival, one of 5 restaurants, offers garden views and serves lunch and dinner. There are 2 bars/lounges and a nightclub, and rooms at this luxurious resort get the details right with free minibar items and jetted tubs.
Pros: Amazing staff service especially by he hotel greeter Pedro!since the minute we got there, he already had gone above and beyond to making our stay there the most welcoming. With this being said, The Westin definitely does not disappoint in how well present, accommodating, and easily accessible to the beach. Defitely recommend a stay here especially during March when all the spring breakers are in town!
Pros: Friendly staff. Lots of nice swimming pools.
Cons: Room outdated, and having to pay for wifi in room? This was our second hotel in PV. Not horrible, but probably wouldn't stay here again based on other options.
Pros: Pool design.
Friendly check-in staff.
Late check-out offered.
Cons: Staff seemed stressed and not appreciated by supervisors.
Pool lacked towels (were hidden in a rolling bucket), and had zero towels at 7pm when I wanted to go swimming.
Lobby was cold and had no warmth or delights.
Far from center of Puerto Vallarta.
Pros: Everything was pristine. I loved the temperature and style of the pools! So relaxing! Staff very friendly and helpful!
Pros: Every single person who works at the westin was SO nice! One morning at breakfast downstairs, I had mentioned to the waiter that my boyfriend and me were loving this place but getting bit so bad by mosquitos after he asked how we were doing. When I came back from getting my breakfast at the buffet, there was mosquito repellant sitting on our table. Arnoldo (our waiter) had left it there for us to use. So nice!! Everyone there was just happy and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable-which it was. This place is clean and set in the most perfect location.
We cannot wait to go back!!!
Cons: Having to pay for WIFI
Pros: We loved the gym facilities, tennis courts. Great breakfast spread which was included, rooms were nice and clean. Staff friendly and would deliver drinks to the beach/ poolside.
Cons: Wished the beach was longer to walk (cove with little peninsulas that were rocky to cross to get to the next small cove) Didn't like the lunch restaurant/ outdoor eating options during the day.
Pros: Pool area, view, size of rooms, cleanliness, beach access, noise level, excellent service
Cons: Still seemed expensive, food could be better
Pros: Great hotel, great value for your money, pay no attention to the complaints of lizzards and bugs on the rooms. All hotels in the Puerto Vallarta have this 'problem' because they are so close to nature.
Pros: Room was nice and relaxing. Check in was easy. Free wifi only in lobby.
Cons: Beach was not cleanest water, but most if you go to the beach usually you would leave PVR.
Pros: Arrived late, but was able to extend check out the next day before we moved on to our next destination. Clean room. Not crowded. Free WiFi in the lobby area. Nice pool area and access to the beach.
Cons: Upon check in we were given a different room that we had paid,
After discussing several minutes , we get the room we booked in kayak website.
Escape to 14 tranquil acres dotted with swaying palm trees and fronted by 410 feet of private Pacific Ocean beach. The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta offers all this splendor just minutes from the international airport and charming downtown. Beachfront pergolas and sparkling pools invite relaxation, while our serene spa offers head-to-toe pampering. Bright tropical colors and elegant, modern Mexican decor grace our 280 ocean-view rooms, each with a private balcony, plush Heavenly® Bed, and rejuvenating Heavenly® Bath.
Pros: Everything is there. Dont need to go off site if you dont want to. Few vendors. nice beach and public beach nearby. Four star hotel with all kinds of distractions and ways to spend your money. Nightly entertainment is on par with others.
Great pools. Great location fabulous rooms - get the ones with sunset sun. They are warmer
Cons: Fighting for beach chairs was a gigantic pain. why do people 'claim' chairs and not show up at all. Introduced American competitive attitudes which intrudes on the vacay experience.
Pros: We've usually been to adult only resorts so we were worried about all the kids but it wasn't bad at all. This resort was great for the value. The music can get loud on one side of the pool area, but if you're on the other side, it's fine. We were also on the 6th floor and didn't hear any of the late music.
Cons: It is far from downtown and traffic can build up on the one road. So if you wanted to go there, plan a full day down there.
Pros: We loved the whole experience with our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 adult children). It was a clean, beautiful resort with great food and wonderful staff. We especially liked the prime-rib dinner in the buffet restaurant, and enjoyed an excellent Italian meal at the specialty restaurant. Great service everywhere. Compliments to everyone.
Cons: The first night was a bit noisy with a graduation party, but they were gone the next day.
Pros: We were upgraded for our stay to a grand master suite which was phenomenal! We loved the view from the wrap around balcony and the room was very comfortable. The pool and beach were also fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay overall and had a great time.
Cons: The food was decent but not overly impressive, especially for the price of the all-inclusive. The reservations at the restaurants booked up prior to our arrival so we never had the chance to eat anywhere except the buffet, so book your reservations early. Overall a great time though! Would definitely go back.

Pros: Mexican atmosphere, authentic Mexican furniture, very comfortable bed...!
Pros: I loved this hotel. It was one street up from the beach which made it less busy so the staff was always available to help me. I enjoyed that it more of a Mexican feel rather than a resort feel although if you want that resort feel you just walk across the street. The lobby area was cool and airy with vines growing everywhere.
This seemed like a hotel adults who want to relax would enjoy. The pool was on he rooftop.
Hotel playa Los Arcos was across the street. My friends stayed there and we wore the same wristbands so I believe you could use that pool and beach area.
Cons: The walls were very thin. I could hear everything in the lobby. And maybe they could hear me as well.
Pros: The hotel is basic but the location is great. The rooms are simple but they do have a mini refrigerator and a safe. The AC is amazing! The entire staff was very friendly.
Cons: If you are a luxury or picky traveler you won't like this place. It is modest and simple. WIFI was free with only some bandwidth issues
Pros: This quaint hotel's location is right in the middle of so much of Vallarta - Old Vallarta, Playa Los Muertos, Malecon, great restaurants, Guadalupe church, and on and on. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had bit of a leaking A/C and they attended to it right away. We didn't use the facilities but had the option of using everything in the Hotel as well as across the street at the Los Arcos hotel.
Overall a terrific value.
Cons: The biggest problem was some noise. There was some construction going on nearby but also street sounds that cropped up from time to time in the night and morning. I'm a heavy sleeper and was fine but my wife who's a light sleeper woke up several times. The A/C worked well but leaked a pool of water in the room. We suspect it was due to heavy rains at the time.
None of this caused us to regret our selection. It wasn't awful; just something to note.
Pros: location,friendly staff
Cons: really really small

Discover casa doa susana the hotel that gurantees you memorable vacations.
Pros: The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and happy to help. The rooms were clean and well kept through the entire stay. The location was great and absolutely beautiful.
Cons: The food wasn't very great. It seems the kitchen is not the cleanest of places. We found fish bones in the pork and the lettuce definitely got me sick. I spent 12 hours feeling the revenge, if you know what I mean. I would save the money on the all inclusive. Also, I would recommend the beer or simple drinks. Anything like margaritas or bloody Mary's tasted awful.

Pros: Pool and beach and staff there and all restaurant staff and food amazing!!!!
Cons: I emailed manager about a cost issue and never got a response and ceiling fan in room didn't work and showed head was clogged so only half the water holes worked so no water pressure
Pros: The location is right on the beach and provides great views and ambiance.
Cons: The hotel feels squished in between other hotels and buildings. The surrounding area is not pleasant to walk around, except for the beach. The hotel feels clean but then things will start to fail, like the toilet didn't work and lights didn't work in our room. The language barrier is obviously difficult to overcome when you need repairs like this, but I felt like the maintenance staff was irresponsible and would just disappear if they didn't know how to fix the problem. By far the most disappointing thing was the food. For an all inclusive, the food was intolerable. We only at the buffet and then the Mexican restaraunt and found both to be some of the worst food we have ever had. We paid more than we should for a last minute NYE trip but I feel totally ripped off.

Pros: The food here is great! You can also bring in your own food to cook (the rooms have full kitchens and there are grills outside), but I would consider eating at the restaurants.
A tip: The wifi is not free, but if you buy something from the restaurant in the market, you can ask for a wifi code that is valid for the entire day. Otherwise, the charge is $10 per day per device.
I was never approached once by a sales rep in the lobby, so that wasn't a problem as some reviews have suggested. On the beach, however, everyone has something to sell.
Cons: The hotel is not close to downtown, so a cab ride is required. Also, there are plenty of people trying to sell you things on the beach and that can get a bit tiring.
Pros: The staff are the friendliest you'll find in PVR. The food was excellent too. We were surprised with prime rib at the seafood restaurant. Yum!
Cons: I didn't like that we basically missed our last day of vacation because of Hurricane Patricia. It barely rained and I never saw any high winds.
Cons: Our 'concierge' did the normal, take a 90 minute tour, get some free stuff. The 90 minutes was 4 hours. The free stuff was free anyway. When we didn't but at the end of the tour, two con artists drove us back and set us up for a free breakfast and free tickets to Rhythms of the Night and tour of a new place the next morning WITH NO SALES PITCH. I wouldn't go. My wife and daughter-in-law went. During the taxi ride they were assured NO SALES PITCH several times. When they arrived, they couldn't have breakfast or the free tickets unless they agreed to a "90 minute sales pitch". They left and had to pay for a taxi back. A wasted morning. The bad was so bad that I can't remember anything good about VDP.
