Pros: Location was perfect, you can walk to all the main attractions in Ottawa in few minutes. Pier was amazing, he gave as a lot of detailed information to visit the city, prepared a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice and he even anticipated the breakfast time for us since we were leaving early!

Pros: When you don't feel like meeting the kindest hosts possible, having the softest towels you ever touched or the greatest breakfast in Canada: don't go to l'Auberge des Arts. In any other case: This. Is. It. On the outside the place looks a bit outdated and the interior lived its prime decades ago, but everything else makes up for that big time. I would stay here again any time.

Pros: I loved the simplicity of it all, and the character of the home. The room was large enough for our needs and the bed was a spacious king size. Our host Pierre was very informative and gave us plenty of ideas for things and places to see. He provided us with a impressive breakfast and went beyond to accommodate those with food sensitivities and special diets. For the price, it was more than adequate and would highly recommend staying there.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, in a great location. Was accommodating of our dog. The staff was great, particularly the Doormen who we polite, helpful and fun. Save your small bills and coins so you can tip, because they deserve it! Overall, a great stay in a classic Fairmont hotel.

Cons: The motion light in the closet wouldn’t stay on long enough when searching in my suitcase. Irritating. The bathroom though small, was beautifully remodeled but when opening the door it would collide with the main room door. It could be reversed and would be better. A bathtub would have been nice. Also, it would be great if the hotel was a Fine Hotel property with Platinum Amex as is the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City , which is also a favorite of mine

Cons: Not much room out front for vehicle traffic. We caught our taxi out on the road, cause we didn't want to get stuck at the front door.

I dont eat pork .. lounge food options was not good enough to accommodate those who dont eat pork. No parking on site unless you get the valet option which is 49 CAD. or park at a nearby parking.

Cons: The staff at Zoe’s was seated quickly but after 20mins of waiting in a nearly empty restaurant we left. The parking garage was not open so cost a lot more to park. Paid for deluxe king to get a good view instead It was facing inwards with not even a green space to look at but windows filled with storage.

Cons: Unfortunately the neighbourhood is full of homeless sketchy people, though they seemed totally harmless, they didn't really made the surrounding area too nice. But it is not the Hotel's fault ... it's something that should be solved and taken care by the government and such.

Cons: Tv didn’t work. We advised the desk & were told someone would look into the matter - never happened. The room didn’t correspond to the photo on your site. It was much smaller, the bathroom was very small. The walls of the room were scratched in places (white marks on the darker walls.) the carpet was not cleaned properly, dust & dirt where it meets the walls. Mould on woodwork .The worst room ever. We only stayed because it was nightfall, only for one night. Needless to say we only really the noticed the extent of the decrepit condition of the room after returning after our evening out & the following morning! The room looked like a converted storage room.
