The staff are excellent, warm persons
The staff was very friendly. The wifi connection was poor.
I like the location very close to everything. I like the price very cheap My only complain are the beds they are very uncomfortable
The staff was friendly, the location was good , walking distance to most other hotel / casinos and the metro was right around the corner.. Also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The free wireless was good . The only negative thing is that they need to replace the rugs in the hallway .
Location The attention it was bad
Central location value for price Problem with hot water. Hotel is getting run down
Elevators not working properly.
Everything it was ok To much prostitution in the casino the girls pass around like they are hunting they look desperate i went to the restroom and they jump into my boyfriend to ask him if he wants her seat with him but the soonest she saw me she fly away.
Hospitality was very nice. Elevator key cards don't work very well. If staying with finds and are on different floors, you can't go to their room because of different key cards.
Nothing, I was expecting a 4 star hotel and not one aspect of it came up to this level The staff, compete and utter indifference to customer service
The shower head didn't spray, so I requested a new room. In the second room. The remote didn't work and there wasn't any hot water
The Radisson Decapolis in Panama City is a great place to stay. It is in a central location. Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to find someone who spoke English. The morning breakfast came with the room. It is fabulous buffet-best I’ve seen anywhere. A special shout out to Aileen, who was our server for the stay of a week. She really took care of us! If you need information of where to go or other questions, the concierge on the second floor was great. Both Laureana and Rosana there speak English and they found out everything we were asking for!
The Decapolis in Panama City is a great place to stay. It is in a central location and across the street from a casino and a mall. It is next to the Hard Rock Hotel at almost half the price. Everyone was very friendly and it was easy to find someone that spoke english. The morning breakfast came with the room. It is an excellent buffet with an egg order. If you want IHOP or Lubby's, this is not the meal you are looking for. If you want good coffee, fresh fruit, lox, bagels, yogurt and such, this is the place. A special shoutout to Aileen, who was our server for the stay of a week. She really took care of us! If you need information of where to go or other questions, the concierge on the second floor was great. Both Laureana and Rosana there speak english and they found out everything we were asking for! There are four bars across the street that play music until closing. If you have a south facing room (room number ending with odd number, i.e. 5) you will barely hear the music from the bars, but you can hear it. The north side has no view, but is quiet.
On the room, it has a noises all the night.
The hotel is in a great location. Very close to Calle Uruguay Nothing bad to say!
Muy buen hotel, me encanto mi estadia, tiene cerca muchos restaurantes y locales de comida rapida, tiene muy cerca un supermercado y una estacion del metro. Muy recomendable
The price was great at around $50/night. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The check-in person was super nice and gave me free Wi-Fi in-room when it was supposed to be paid. The location is great, next to the metro and the downtown area. The elevator was tiny and slow. I was surprised that Wi-Fi in room was not included (until the check-in agent gave it to me for free). The area is pretty dead at night.
Las habitaciones y las instalaciones excelentes Demora en el checo in, confundieron el numero de habitación y quisieron facturar el desayuno que estaba pago, el WiFi debería estar incluido en la tarifa.
The location of the hotel in the heart of the financial district. The staff was very inattentive and unfriendly.
We had an excellent stay. Alonso treated us during the breakfast like king and a Quenn. We will stay again!!! Gym, the smell was horrible!
At first my husband and I were skeptical about the hotel since it had been very inexpensive... however from the moment we walked in the staff was very nice and helpful the room very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We are very glad we chose Doubletree for our short stay in Panama. I loved the hotel and everything IN it. I was not a big fan of the surrounding area, especially since we kept getting lost around that side of town and couldn't find a single well-known restaurant to eat around the hotel.
Very helpful and professional staff. Front desk was terrific! Excellent cookies!!! The pool was unavailable during my stay due to repairs.
The location Horrible damp smell through many of the rooms, and even the hallways. Putting your clothes inside the drawers would force you to have them laundered before you could wear them.
The quality of the people servicing the hotel more than exceeds expectations. People are very kind in their treatment and go the extra mile. I had a situation that wasn't really a big deal to me but I let the staff know about it during check in. At the time of check out, a fellow from the concierge desk approached me and apologized for the situation and offered a courtesy ride to the airport as a gesture of appreciation for my business. This wasn't necessary but he insisted. I have to thank him for this because he made my day.
Food was wonderful so was the staff
Top shelf service with updated rooms. Everything you would expect in an American 4star hotel - bring your own cell phone.
Service was exceptional. Room was perfect. Amenities lacked nothing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Panama City
My husband and i stayed at this hotel in March and really enjoyed our stay. It is very pricey and I would not recommend upgrading to the suite level to gain access to the pool on the 21st floor...Not that it is not a nice thing to have your private cocktail hour but the pool just doesnt compare to the large pool and its very windy up on the 21st floor deck. Our favorite things at the hotel were the great pool, good food, friendly staff, great tour operators, and the spa was wonderful. Down side - very pricey.
The breakfast was great. It's a nice clean modern hotel. Unfortunately when I booked my reservation, my confirmation email did not state that the hotel would request additional money of no less than $200 to place a hold on my credit card. The lady was friendly enough and placed only$100.00 on hold however when I returned back to the hotel, an additional $100.00 was authorized by the hotel without my permission. And unfortunately, when you call the U.S. number/toll free number their only suggestion is to incur international calling fees and call the hotel directly. Also I did not like how the hotel advertises a FREE SHUTTLE to and from the hotel, only to find out that the shuttle is for their corporate guests only. That information was very misleading and was a big factor in why we booked with this hotel. The shuttle cost is $32.00 roundrip per person. Also they ask you for your room number or make you write it on your receipts in just about everywhere you go...I.E. the bar for drinks, one of the hotels restaurants, the night club, and for breakfast in the morning. I suggest you get a statement of your charges during your stay. We were charged tip for drinks to our room and we tip our servers cash!!! Also, the bathroom in our room had a terrible sewage smell!! JUST BEWARE!! I WOULDN'T STAY HERE AGAIN!! It was too misleading for me! They don't tell you all this stuff when you're booking the room.
Great views of the city from the pool ! The food and drinks were eh...
Everybody was great, great customer service I thought my breakfast was included, but it was not
Complimentary Breakfast!!! Clean rooms!!! Very helpful staff!! One of the absolute best stays abroad I've ever had only complaint would be the elevators. Long wait at times but nothing too terrible
Wow wow wow. From the moment the valet took our car we were greeted by the friendliest bellman Jonny who helped us get an early check in so our 1 year old daughter could nap. They upgraded is to a deluxe suite, gave us vouchers for drinks and even brought a guitar to our room. Unreal service. The food was amazing and the pools and views were spectacular. DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE COMPLAINING. The hotel is 5 stars all the way. Nothing. Best hotel stay of our lives. Travelled around the world. We left our 5 star resort in Playa Blanca to stay at the Hard Rock and it was the highlight of our Panama trip.
the location in the heart of the city lack of courtecy from the staff
Staff was terrific. Everyone really made me feel welcome The food was ho hum except the steakhouse which was fantastic.
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was great to have a rain shower in the bathroom.
Great restaurants, great atmosphere Be sure to have a confirmation at check-out; hassles with their system. Very difficult place for business meetings becasue of the noise level.
Nice building and prices Room service foods sucked. Cheapest spaghetti i have ever seen.
Great break fast buffet! Great instalations Problems with the elevators.... They didnt read the cards...
Very modern and spacious rooms in the heart of downtown Panama City. Breakfast buffet was the best! Better than all-inclusive resorts.
The room is clean and the areas. staff reception, ask for service 3 times and ignore, the maid forgot stuff in the room. I saw big roach when we ate by the pool.
Compared to the last time I stayed there, they really stepped up on the cleanliness. much better Also at the dinner party we attended I had a horrible headache and needed a coffee badly. the server Liam and Juan were very helpful and kind to get me the coffee and check back on me to see if I was better. Some of the staff was very eager to assist and others seemed bothered when asked a question. Which was totally undermined the good customer service provided by their peers. Also I could not pay for room service with a credit card nor cash, they wanted me to provide a 50.00 deposit to use room service and the difference would be returned at check out. I felt this was unacceptable for hotel of that quality.
Exactly what I need for business.
Great value, location and amenities!
I have never stayed at a hotel that had such an amazing complimentary breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was wonderful. It does not include a lounge for dancing. My husband and I wanted to dance a bit but not really go to a club. It would have been nice if the hotel had a lounge were we could sit and dance a bit.
The staff. The front desk clerk was wonderful. Very helpful. Everything else. The pictures of the hotel look nothing like the real place. The room was dirty, smelly, and the comforter had stains on it. The comforters had not been washed in probably a month or more. They were disgusting. I paid $70.00 for the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. Don't know how the place had 3 stars because I would give it zero if I could.
I've stayed here before. Unlike the big hotels, the Bristol provides personalized service and very nice rooms. Wouldn't do the pre paid breakfast again. No variation in menu. Gets a bit boring after 2-3 days.
Everything! The hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel was lovely. The pool was somewhat disappointing, but in a building like that, surrounded by such large buildings, there's not much to be done. Also there was a cab driver associated with the hotel that charged a group of four $40 to go to Casco Viejo from the hotel. Total rip off! I believe his name was Franz.
Breakfast buffet Staff Bar was overpriced! Wine pours were extremely small.
Very clean room. Kudos to Wendy and Gustavo, they were excellent. I wanted to acknowledge a server also, but I do not remember her name. She is short, worked in the mornings at breakfast time serving the coffee. She has very black hair, and a great smile always, kudos to her. Supper, the food served at that time did not meet my expectation. They need to improve on that. Great breakfast buffet though. I can empathize with the guest that was assigned a room next to the linen closet. I think that we got that same noisy room.
The room and bathroom were clean and upscale! The pub and restaurant were excellent. i loved the touch of cold bottled water and a chilled wash cloth at check-in. One elevator is out of order and the other was heavily used by hotel staff....wife and i walked stairs three times in four day stay! pub staff moved so slow to any request! Hotel driver ripped us off with huge fee for short ride.
Very nice facilities and staff. Room was assigned at the time we arrived, unfortunately because we booked it online and not through the hotel and allocated us in a room next to the maids' linen closet. The noise since early in the morning did not let us sleep and the hotel did not respond when we complained about it. Such a shame
Fantastic staff and facility. Great breakfast and a great, quiet location.
Staff friendly. Comfy bed Clean linen without chemical smell of soap The at conditioning was centrally controlled. My room was extremely cold I had no choice but to turn it off Then the condensation was dripping from the ceiling tile to the floor
Great location on Amador. A nice (but somewhat long) walk can be taken to the end of the causeway where there are various restaurants and marinas. Very convenient for a short stay and a decent price.
I like the location, the staff, and the design of the hotel in general. Also, it's nice to see the improvements in the biergarten; beer selection and menu. I have stayed at this hotel close to 10 times now. The first visit was the best but since then, I have not been as impressed. Every single time I have checked in, I have been given a different room than I reserved online. My rooms have had varying degrees of dirty. From hairs on my bed and in the bathroom, to wrappers and dirt on the floors. The rooms and hallways just are not cleaned very well at all. On my last stay, the shampoos had been used and not replaced, and I was only given one large towel which had 3 big holes in it. The food at the morning breakfast is not very good either; cold bland eggs, cold meat that does not look very appetizing, and the bread and pastry selections are pretty dry and boring.
The pool and outdoor area is nice. Lots of places to sit and relax. The hot tub was broken. There were never pool towels stocked. The room was dusty.
Hip place with great staff. Very good value. Highly recommend. Much better than our stay at TRYP.
I enjoyed my stay at the Riande Granada hotel. Service standards were very good. Nice friendly staff, food was excellent as well. There is a Gym with basic equipment which served the purpose, a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. I would stay in this hotel again.
For the price it's a decent value. Included breakfast is good Quality of staff is poor. Generally pretty lazy don't want to be bothered by the guests with tasks like checkin in, activating room keys, etc.
Not a free shuttle. $20 per person! Breakfast was nice. Free "welcome drink" is just a cheap beer. Shuttle service is very expensive.
The suite I stayed in was fairly large for the money with most of the amenities that I would expect. The hotel has a good location, but if you are not familiar with Panama City I would suggest taking a cab from the airport as a GPS or maps will not guide you well getting there. The staff was friendly and courtious. Although the food in the restraunt is not bad, I would suggest taking a block or so walk to restraunts near the hotel where you will find much better food with a much lower price tag.
staff is super accomodating, helpful and friendly. NIcest group of people i have encountered in my travels. gym was clean and well maintained. The key card system takes a bit getting used to as is required to use elevator for all floors. one elevator would not accept 3 different keys despite having used it 10 minutes earlier, but maintenance arrived and got everyone on another elevator in under two minutes. I was impressed with response to issue- which can happen anywhere.
Hotel staff monitored and prevented me from taking any guess to my room unless I paid $11.00. I was offended by this because the room was paid for in full and I could not take up a visitor without being embarrassed by the request to pay more money to take someone up. I felt like they ran the hotel like a 'Hostel'. Hotel staff used the quip 'I am doing my job' line to promote this absurd rule. I don't fault the employees but I do the management. Management's breakfast rule in the restaurant is mis-guided too because one has to pay for coffee because the hotel breakfast pass does not pay for coffee.
