Location was great! Room was clean. No hot water, no towels. Moved to another room, still not hot water. Staff was overwhelmed.
The location had good proximity to restaurants and attractions. The dead bolt lock on our room door did not work and all the room doors lead directly to the outside like a motel. There was clear evidence of a previous forced entry through our room door. You can hear everything around you through the walls and room entry. People talking, luggage being rolled, kids running around, leaf blowers blowing. There was also standing water in the shower, shower knob didn't work great, linens feel like hemp, and most of all the room door that doesn't lock!
I liked that it was close to my job interview and was affordable. I didn't like the customer service, the staff assistance, room had flies, my rooms keys did not work, I had to wait over 30 minutes to get into my room because my keys didn't work, the manager made me walk back and forth with my luggage because he said he was too busy to fix my key issue at my room, the stay was unpleasant and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
I enjoyed the location, it was close to a lot of places that were walking distance. Things not working in the room, after asking for it to be fixed and not resolving the problems. Housekeepers just walking in your room. No hot water when showering. Front desk seem to have a attitude while checking in. Toilet was hard to flush and dirty walkways.
Pool and location Rooms, first room had no hot water and AC was broken these are just the major issues. We were given a comp and room change. The second room had a bad smell of mold so we had to keep the door closed at all times. Check in location was difficult to find.
The location to many attractions was appealing. Had to move out of 1st room as a/c didn't work. 2nd room we moved to wasnt much better. The shower handle was broke and was set to hot water. The bathroom door looked like someone left their dog in there and it shred the door pretty good. The blankets were stiff and the room smelled very musty. The a/c didn't cool off the room until the middle of the night. The pool is a long way away and there was NO ice machines in the building. You had to go to the hotel next door! Do not waste your money.
the fact that this hotel was right across from the eye of orlando, and close to universal studios. i was given a 10$ starbucks coupon for the hotels lobby cause of my no hot water problem. parking, NO Hot Water... the handle was broken so in the shower all you could have was cold and colder. when checking in the customer service was not great seeming how it took a half hour to check me in for something so simple, the fact that you have to keep checking your phone while checking in customers, come on dude...
Lack of towels and washcloths. Several nights without either.
Facilities are outdated, no working elevators, lobby is on next hotel but poorly indicated, when we get to the room, there was no towels and had to call to get some stained old ones..
The price of $45 per night is definitely reflected in the way the hotel is managed and maintained. The staff tells you what you want to hear just to get you out of their face and never resolves your complaints No hot water in the shower some days, no refrigerator in the room, running toilets broken sink handles, jacuzzi didn't work, pool was ice cold
The YMCA No washcloths, staff act like they didn't know what was going on, constantly changing front office staff, maids were rude
Very clean! You could hear everything from the rooms next to you.
Good value. Large comfortable rooms/suites. Resort fees!
The whole experience
Excellent Service, Clean, and beautiful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.
Good location, with nice rooms. There're is no shuttle to the airport, A one way taxi ride was something like $50. So I ended up renting a car.
Close to attractions They charge an extra fee if you use one of their services. We were charged $22.44 just because we ate at one of the restaurants.
Kid friendly, great pool, nice layout of room Shower did not drain properly
Our family loved staying here!! We stayed one night when we first arrived in Orlando and then stayed at another resort hotel down the road due to a conference. As soon as the conference was over at the other hotel, we rushed back to Caribe Royale because we loved the King Suite room! Great space and there was also privacy because a door divides the living area from the sleeping area. Our family loved the pool areas too. Fun slide! Customer service was great and the price was affordable. We will stay at Caribe Royale again when we visit Orlando.
The pool area very nice view . Breakfast buffet is excellent. Convenient to all parks. Lack of parking no valet parking not enough chairs at the pool pool over crowded no adult area at the pool. Rooms are noisy. Kids could be heard running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night.
We really liked that it offered everything and you really had no need to leave the hotel The restaurant was not that great and wayyyy overpriced!
Hotel Room and Ammenities. Room service from the hotel was perfect! Excellent food for a great price. Staff was super friendly and made sure our stay was great. Intersection getting to the hotel was very difficult to get thru. The beers at the bar were really overpriced, and the front desk took forever to pickup.
As a traveling business man, I've stayed in many hotels, this was one of the best experiences my wife and I have had. We will come back for another visit. Could use help with loading and unloading travel bags and such. We called for baggage service and they never came to assist us.
Staff was very knowledgeable and veryhelpful. Room was dusty on the counter tops and desk. A bit of a surprise. there were other pieces of debri around, but not really bad, just surprising from other trips staying at Hyatts.
- Great front office staff - Excellent concierge - very fast elevators - The coffee in the room was great - TV in mirror was great (yet it did not change channels or volume correctly) - housekeeping evening service was excellent when I called for more water and coffee - comfortable bed - fast operator responses and efficient over the phone - centrally located near OCCC. A lot of walking is needed as the area is massive - Great restaurants near-by - beautiful pools yet the weather was unfortunately too cold to swim - Took a long time to get hot water in the shower during my 4 days stay. - Bathroom cleanliness was not the best I have seen. I always noticed an odor and felt it was not fresh and fully sanitized - The TV in the mirror did not work correctly and seemed to hang up when i try to change the channel or raise the volume - I had mold in the shower grout, yet this was fully cleaned on the 3rd day I was there. - safe battery was weak and barely opened to get my stuff out. Then it did not work afterwards. - TV had an issue and did not work on my 3rd night. I called it in yet I did not get a tech within 50 minutes to fix it and i had to sleep in the afternoon before going out. When I returned late at night the TV was fixed. .
It is a nice property and we really liked the pool area. When we checked in our first room smelled like old dirty fish. They moved us to another room and the AC unit was leaking into the carpet. This cause the carpet to wet and moldy and also smelled terrible. We ordered room service one night and when they knocked we said "one sec" and when we got the door he left and took the food with him and had to go hunt him down.
Location, fitness center, quiet for sleeping, concierge lounge staff always excellent Inconsistent service, changes in amenities that weren't disclosed, communication issues between different areas of the hotel, when issues raised, staff didn't do anything
That hotel is definitely a good choice while staying in Orlando for a few days. Not many restaurants around the hotel.
The location is near everything you could imagine.
Cost for parking (non-valet) was extreme... about as much as the theme parks. Was not amused that cost was hidden when booking, almost 20% of the cost of the room. room & facility was clean and professionally run.
The staff was very nice and attentive. The hotel and room were very clean. The property was very nice. $20 per night self parking is a bit much if you ask me. self parking should be included already considering the already somewhat generous price range and if not included well at least a bit cheaper
great room, excellent technology. resort fees and the parking fees were way high. $18 to self park $27 to Valet
I believe her name was angelica at the front desk she was so knowledgable and extremely kind! Made checking in easy and painless. The resort few that was not mentioned in the third party booking. Which the staff advised to book through the hotel next time.
Great accommodations, room was large and clean, staff was very helpful, and several food option at the hotel. Parking was expensive and walk to car was a bit far but was expected.
Everyone from the front desk (Deon) to housekeeping (Marie) staff was very helpful, kind, and good humored. The hotel was super clean and comfortable. And the decor and artwork really were all in good taste. My stay was too short!
The hotel was clean, beautiful, perfectly located and top notch in every possible way. The only thing that out shined the hotel amenities was the staff. The staff went above and beyond to make our vacation special. The staff always greeted me by name from the first day I arrived. I also want to thank Steve (bell hop) for providing exceptional service and making me and my daughter feel like we were the only guests staying at the hotel. I can't say thank you enough. Rachel (server) was another wonderful staff person who went out of her way to make us feel like special guests. Thank you for helping create a lasting memory of a wonderful vacation!
Extremely quiet and confortable. Size of the rooms. Outside snack/restaurant service on the balcony overlooking the pool was far too slow. Same for breakfast service when not in "buffet" formula (outisde week end).
Leaving! Don't Stay! Not much class just a dirty standard room you can get just about anywhere for much less and still be around Disney property. Oh and the beds are a joke... Worst Mattress Award. Over priced parking and was told that is a major hike to self parking (which is $10 less) but it is in fact about 5 minutes to the front doors. If you are hoping to stay in class you might want to consider the Hilton that is attached for a better stay (I was they last year). I would rate Waldorf Astoria a standard 3 Star Hotel.
The hotel was beautiful, inside and out. The staff were nice. Our room was very neat when we arrived. The A/C in our room was set to 65 the entire stay and the coldest it got down to was 74. Something is obviously wrong with the A/C. Not all the channels on the TV were watchable. The HBO channels said "no signal". The parking situation is a joke. You have two choices: pay $30 for valet parking or self park for $20. Those are your only two choices. They then add on a $30 resort fee. Also plan on paying for EVERYTHING!!!!! I went down to the lobby to get a cup of coffee and was told a CUP of coffee was $6!!!!!!! I'm sure there are other extra charges that I just didn't see but either way, the ones I listed were enough to annoy me.
I fell in love of the landscape., so lovely.. Maybe a twist in the interior design. A little bit more contemporary.
Very friendly staff, enjoyed restaurant options both at Waldorf and Hilton next door (also liked the golf cart to taxi us back and forth). The pool was amazing- attentive staff, family friendly, very relaxing/luxurious.
Nice hotel, comfortable beds and v helpful staff. Restaurants were v expensive
Very clean hotel, excellent and friendly staff. Overall great experience. Close to Disney. Price
Nice and pretty new Hotel. We could sleep well, too soft matters apear not orthopedics....after one night we decided to moved to other hotel....
Nice room, very friendly and helpful staff! The shower leaked and it's not a cheap hotel
Actually there staff were so friendly. The hotel has every thing you would look for include different types of entertainment. The only bad thing at this hotel is that you have to pay for everything include the business center.
The hospitality suite was nicely accommodating. Evidently, I had to forfeit the kingsize suite for a set of double beds to be adjacent to the hospitality suite. However. In the hotel's defense the upgrade was not made until arrival, and it was a Sat.
The room, pool and staff. The food was good however it was priced way too high. $60.00 plus for two hamburgers and fries is out of line.
Tv in bedroom did not work well, and room was tough to keep cool.
Do not buy Disney ticket from hotel!
Loved the lazy river! Great recreation options onsite (lazy river, pool, fire pits, tennis court, putt-putt, pool bar/restaurant). Good location and public transportation options. Room was right across from fire station with sirens at all hours. Low water and toilet pressure. No balcony, kitchenette, or table and chairs. Food and room a bit pricey. Mini fridge difficult to find-hidden in dresser set.
Fantastic hotel. Swimming pools and jacuzzis and water slides are excellent. Room service is very expensive.
Close to convention center. Great pool for kids. In room bottled water $5.00! Stop at the 7-11 down the street and stock up.
Convenience of location to meetings and comfortableness of rooms. Enjoyed the swimming area, very nice. I think you need a Restaurant that is more affordable that the ones located at the Hotel. One that offers Lunch Buffet and Dinner. The Marketplace was ok for breakfast.
This was the most amazing family friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. It is also a great place for business and travel. The perfect place for everyone. Staff was amazing. Pool view is spectacular. We are still shocked at how wonderful of a place this was for such a great price!
location,hotel staff,comfort nothing
They charge and booking.com too
Washer and dryer in the room. Pricing is a scam, they make you pay for everything including housekeeping fees and resort fees.
Excellent, spacious accommodation No restaurant. Breakfast room and choice of food unacceptable. Staff lack local knowledge - foreign students mostly.
I like the cleanliness of the rooms, the jettub (although small), and the continental breakfast (especially that they let people take it to their rooms - that was so convenient for us with small kids.) The sofa bed in the living room was a nightmare(they should consider 2 double beds in the guest rooms instead of 1 queen or those short twins. There were no activities for kids or kiddie pools. Even though they have a sign for spa, there is no spa in the hotel.
Spacious, fully equipped suite that was close to everything but still quiet and very clean. Free (wired) internet access was great, but wireless connection would be more convenient.
The amenities were more than sufficient. Rooms could have been cleaner.
I had trouble with the reservation as they thought it was for a 2 bedroom. I had a reservation for a 2 bedroom then cancelled that and made it a 3 bedroom. I checked with the resort before I got there and the error was discovered. I showed up and the error was still there. The front desk did fix the problem and put us in a 3 bedroom at the rate quoted in the reservation.
Location, size of condo plus kitchen appliances etc To pay additional for a full clean
The newness of the hotel and shuttles to the Disney Parks. Nothing
Great value. Comfortable room. Several dining options on site. Large pool and lazy river provided hours of entertainment for entire family. Nothing to report.
It was too far away from the action. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be. Also when I ordered a burger and fires in the restaurant the fries came cold and soggy. They did comp me with a beer, which was nice.
Facilities, restaurants, pool area and proximity to Disney was exactly what we had been looking for and were not disappointed.
Rooms & view Need a deep pool for swimming
Very modern and common areas are vast and have plenty of areas to congregate Resort fee Staying one night in town for Rolling Stones concert, so we did not use any of the resort area ehich is basically a very large pool lounge area with a water ride for kids Resort fees are simply another unbundling like baggee fees at airlines that drop to the bottom line
Excellent hotel, pool area great for holidays, location excellent for Disney etc. well worth staying as there is something for everyone. Staff excellent.
The Booking.com agent was an angel without wings! (Angela? Christina? Sarah? I forget her name) I can't thank her enough! I booked the room through kayak for the first time ever, and I did it spontaneously while riding the Red Coach Bus from Miami to Orlando on a Friday afternoon. I found the deal and booked it right away. As I forwarded the confirmation to my girlfriend, a minute later my phone is ringing and there is screaming in my ear; the room with the deal was for the NEXT Friday. Instantly. Livid. And of course as Im reading through looking for the customer service number, there are all sorts of "no refund" "non-return" "no changes" laced throughout, so I think "well ok let me call the hotel." "Nothing. Nope." The listless front desk person who answered the phone is proceeding to tell me, as he said there is nothing he can do because the reservation was made by a third party vendor from a website. "I can go ahead and book you another room right now" he sluggishly chimes in. "No thanks" I tell him, "I really shouldn't have to pay for another whole new room after literally transferring my funds to you less than 5 minutes ago." The incorrect information was caught immediately and I'm trying to correct it. I hang up on him and proceed to search for the Booking.com customer service line. I find it, call, and am placed on hold for 14 minutes before I speak to the rep. She cheerfully chimes in and listens to the entire convoluted problem and proceed to totally sweep the rug out from underneath me by saying "how about I place you on hold and Im gonna go ahead and call the hotel directly." Oh. Well ok. That sounds like a great idea. She goes back and forth for a few moments, to then come back and inform me: 1) The deal I booked was for a handicapped room, which I didn't need & was being charged MORE for than even the price of a regular room 2) She informed the Hotel of my celebration with my girlfriend and they would be upgrading the room & the floor that we would be on because the hotel had low vacancy 3) That the change was easily made at no extra cost. Sirens. Angels sing. Confetti. This girl just saved my life!! The rest of the trip was OUTSTANDING. The girl at the front desk upgraded our floor to one of the top with a view of Disney Springs. The hotel inside was immaculately clean, detailed, and made you feel a sense of space and relaxation. The pool with the lazy river was an amazing feature, and the inside bar with a gunpowder old fashioned was well worth the wait. There is a resort fee, but to those reading absolutely worth the charge. I will absolutely be back to vacation here, and I will book it through kayak & booking.com. Kudos you guys. Too many little kids, but it IS in the heart of Disney theme parks and the like. The pool is probably a mouthful of pee.
I liked shuttle bus transportation to and from and to Disney world them parks, it was on time and comfortable with a reliable time schedule, all the people were helpful, check in and check out was fast My first impression when i arrived to the hotel was bad, because when i arrived i unloaded all my luggage and later the luggage man arrived and take all the luggage without giving me a ticket, i was expecting more better welcome arrival, the shower has not enough pressure, also at the last night it was allot of noise and i was in the 15th floor, and i heard like allot of knocking on the roof and wall (it was not so loud but noisy)
Ther service being provided were excellent during our stay, we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel.. the swimming pool was amazing and the breakfast was excellent ,, and the location of the hotel is perfect ! It was perfect I will definetly go back again
Beautiful ground, facilities, and of course the pool with "lazy" river. All the stupid fees. Its bad enough that most of these resorts near the house of mouse charge a Resort Fee that used to be for the theme park transportation, resort amenities, and parking. Well this place charges a $25 resort fee AND a $20 parking fee (PLUS TAX, yes they add sales tax to the bogus resort and parking fees). So just keep in mind that the great price you see in big bright numbers on Kayak (and everywhere else) doesn't include the $50 a day parking and resort fees, or the 11% sales tax on everything. The rooms are nice but small. Depending on where your room is located, it can be a 1/4 mile walk to the nearest elevator and ice machine. There are no pool monitors to keep all the unattended kids under control. It seemed like we were the only parents that were with our children. Every other parent we could identify (from kids running up to them at some point) were drunk at the bar and ignoring their kids. But considering the number of kids that were there, most of the parents must have just left them there unattended. Kids were going crazy while we were there. Jumping off the bridges into the lazy river below, barely missing coming down on people below. One woman was hit in the head by a plastic cup (filled with ice and water), that some brat purposely dropped on her as floated under one of the bridges. I'm not asking for life guards, just security to keep things under control when there are a ton of kids there.
The atmosphere was beautiful. All staff and services were amazing. Dominic at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well designed. Parking is $20 but it's not too bad considering how affordable the hotel is.
Beautiful property, great staff, and I did enjoy getting to take a dip in the pool at the end of a long day, since it's open until midight! $15 per day for spotty WiFi is terrible for a business traveler. I'm a Marriott Rewards member and so told WiFi was only free if I booked directly through Marriott - but you don't always have control over these things when you're booking business travel. Very little in the area - Sea World across the street, but just a 711 and Bonefish grill in the area and VERY DARK sidewalk and parking lot make it clear this is not an area for pedestrians. Seemed a great fit for families, with the water park, but as someone in town for a conference, it didn't offer anything to make me a repeat customer.
Very clean !!! Very good customer service Lily Parrish
Gentlemen at front desk remembered us from a previous visit . Personal service.
The staff was great - from the valet, to front desk, to concierge and housekeeping. Lounge and restaurant (buffet breakfast was GREAT) drinks, food and service were top notch. We found everything clean, well-stocked, and in good condition. Very comfortable beds, linens, and nice towels. Room was very quiet, even though it was close to the elevators. Free valet parking for our Hybrid car, too! The A/C didn't quite do the job - it never did get down to the thermostat temp of 72 - although it indicated it was. We then set it to 65, but it never got any cooler. Had we stayed another night, we would have asked that it be addressed. In room coffemakers - inconveniently placed on a bottom shelf of the TV cabinet. On/off switch was broken. Two creamers that barely turned the coffee a different color - surely could be better on that front.
Staff are wonderful, specifically at the Mist, and values, very respectful and kind. Also, I thought I had misplaced some cash, and my room attendanant must have found it and he/she folded everything in my room nicely, and there was the bundle of money I thought I had lost! I loved the gym, the pool, the lobby bars and restaurants. Steve, Jimmy and Jamie, at the Mist, specifically, were kind and so nice and accommodating. Good service equals happy customers, they deserve a bonus for working hard and remaining not only calm, but kind, even at peak times with a variety of guests to deal with, including some that were less than kind. My room had ants upon arrival, however I was quickly moved to a new room, although I had to ask for the move, it turned out on.
I like everything the dcoration the atmosphere the personal was very profesional The parking access to the building
Staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean. It also had one of the best hotel gyms and pools. Rooms prices were very affordable. The hotel restaurants were expensive and they charge you alot for parking.
The water park was amazing, the rooms we luxurious and clean!!! This will be where me and my family stay every time we visit Orlando!!! The price was good as well!! There was nothing to not like!!
The staff that greeted us upon arrival was pleasant and welcoming. Some were knowledgeable and were able to give us accurate advice and information regarding the hotel and surroundings. The room was clean and the daily service was good. Our conference box lunches were adequate...the cookie in our box lunch was outstanding! There is a $20 fee per day for the shuttle to Disney theme parks plus other amenities like in-room wifi. However, with our conference ending at 4:30 each day, there was no shuttle to take us to the Disney theme parks. Therefore, we had to use a taxi as our only mode of transportation to and from the parks. This became quite costly (approx. $70 per day). Once at a Disney park, you could use the various buses and the monorail to go between parks and Downtown Disney. However, we were quite disappointed that the Renaissance did not offer more options for their shuttle service in the afternoon. When trying to figure out our best options for transportation, the staff at the front desk was not always consistent in their answers and some were absolutely inaccurate.
Friendly staff, very nice hotel, great food, nice pool, 20.00 resort fee per day very worth it. Walking distance to Seaworld and Aquatica. Nothing....liked everything
Everything. Staff, cleanliness, spectacular room accommodation, food, pool. 5 stars from us. Will be back next month. Nothing
The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and you felt safe. I made some recommendations when I made my reservation. We had three rooms and were told we were in the West wing close to the transportation, we ended up on the east wing as far away from the transportation as possible. They didn't do anything to rectify the problem, just told me that it was on the reservation but the rooms were full.
Loved that we had the fast pass included. Was so luxurious and the beds so comfy. Boat ride to parks was so convenient.
PBH was the best choice for our visit to Universal Studios Orlando. The restaurants were great. The one we went to had a musical that was an initiate source of classic italian songs. The room was over the top amazing (we stayed in the presidenta suite). The staff was friendly, accomodating and inviting.
Great stay with nice beach pool and good restaurants. Early access was unbeatable. Too expensive with extra charge for parking and mini fridge.
We loved everything about it. Rooms were spacious and very clean. It was so close to the parks. The hotel restaurant the kitchen had very slow service. That could be because we were a party of 9 though. Food was very good though.
The room and property were great! Love the décor and details at the hotel. My puppy, who came along for the trip received a welcome bag which included a very cute Hard Rock dog bowl. We would have loved to stay there more days since it was so comfortable and felt safe. The ease of getting to City Walk be that by boat, or walking was awesome! Also, for being guests at the hotel, we received complimentary Express Pass to both Island of Adventure and Universal. That was neat! The only bad thing was Housekeeping...timing housekeeping to clean the room so it wouldn't cause a scene (barking, making the dog nervous) with our puppy was rough. We had come back from the parks and would wait up to 2 hours before we left for dinner. I called housekeeping to come in and clean the room, telling them that I will be out within the next 2 hours, so if they could send someone ASAP so we are with the puppy be that in the room or outside of it (the puppy would stay in the room while we would be out on dinner). No one ever came to turn our room over and we called front desk several times and waited the 2 hours. I guess housekeeping was MIA. So during our stay, we never got fresh towels and our beds was never made. Things could be worse though.
Location, public areas (decor and ambience), Express Passes for the parks. New bedroom decor is a disaster. Feels like a 70s nightmare and cheapens what used to feel like a luxury hotel. Same goes for the corridors leading to the rooms. The building of the Saphire Falls also ruins the outlook of the hotel. It used to feel like an idyllic South Pacific getaway. Now the view reminds you that you're just in another hotel block, so that special feel has gone. Lastly, charging to park in the hotel car park? Really? That really is fleecing your guests. over the years I've stayed at this hotel probably half a dozen times. I won't be back unless things change.
Great place to stay. Booked last minute through Kayak, the hotel and staff were amazing. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
we got a suite it was great
Room was big and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very spacious and nice as well. Very good for the price. The front desk person was kind of grumpy since I booked through Kayak and he couldn't find our reservation in the main system. Was a little awkward. The chair in the room had a very strange stain on it and the room could have been a bit cleaner, but it wasn't too bad.
the closeness to the parks.
Location, staff & hotel appearance was excellent. Thank you so much Joanna & Brian for your help & professionalism I could not stay longer
The best thing about the hotel was definitely the hot breakfast buffet. The location was close to Disney. We liked having the living room area for the extra space. The bathtub was not clean - there was mold along the grout. The swimming pool was small and uninviting. It is also right next to the restaurant so everyone would be able to watch you swim. The location of the hotel is an older area and a little sketchy. The traffic was so loud, we could hear it inside the room. I have been to much nicer hotels in the Disney area for a just a little more money. If someone has the option, definitely splurge.
The value for the money is great considering the prices around I will definitely come back I never had the need to call anyone to ask for something i had everything we needed
Rooms, location and pool area Breakfast was very simple, could be expanded
Spacious. $8.99 a day for WiFi. I thought it was a joke.
Easy and free parking. Good location, good value. Clean and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about.
Lovely rooms, grounds and staff. Great location and well maintained with plenty of options Parking fees spoil the overall experience. Always happy to pay for food, facilities and good accommodation but paying for parking at a hotel with so much surrounding space feels like what it is: You're being ripped off! Don't do it. It insults your customers and it's unnecessary
Staff was amazingly polite and patient. Would have liked more frequent free shuttles to/from shopping and local attractions.
hotel is huge and has good facilities the hotel charged me for the full stay on my credit card the day the reservation was made on your website despite the booking stating that they would not. rooms were very stuffy and smelled moldy,
The room' smell was not good.
The room was well priced for the area. Very convenient to dining and tourist attractions. Rooms were hot! Air-conditioning did not keep room cool enough.
great location, its not really like a hotel is more of a motel, the walls are very thin and u could hear every noise made in the rooms beside and above us. pillow covers on the bed were dirty, loads of flies in the room and bathroom, and top it off tea and coffee maker was in the bathroom which isn't very hygienic.
Location to the convention center My room was musty smelling , like a closed up basement , triggered my allergies, I'm guessing mold, they were sold out that night so I had to stay in the room for the night , the next day I was able to get another room but not until after 2 pm , I told them I had no problem checking out and going somewhere else. You would think that if a customer had a problem with a room they would do everything they could to accommodate them. Plus really after you pay for the room they charge a 19.95 resort fee....Ive been to lots of resorts , that was not one of them. I debating writing the president of the company and asking for a refund...will not stay there again
I like how big the hot tub was. I booked on kayak when we go there we checked in and when to our room they gave us two doubles instead of a king like we booked. I called down to have them fix it but they didn't. My boyfriend went down to try to get a refund and we were going to go stay somewhere else. But they said they could not give a refund we would have to go through kayak. So I called them no body answered so I called to hotel again and asked to speak with a manager and ended up putting me on the phone with the same person we have been dealing with and he just said there is nothing they can do they don't have a room for us and they can't give us out money back. So we hung up. 2 minutes later I got a call from someone that was a lot higher up then Andrew. She said I hear that you are going to leave the hotel and I don't want that. She said I do have a king room available if you are willing to stay. So basically they wasted two hours of our vacation telling us they couldn't put us in the room we booked and in the end they put us in the correct room. The new room was nice and spacious the only two things wrong was that there was mold around the toilet and tub. Also the outlets next to the bed did not work other than that the rest of our stay was good.
I was highly disappointed by my quasi stay at the Wyndham Orlando. It was so terrible that I took it as a loss and had to find another hotel for the night. The final straw was a bug crawling across my shoulder while sitting on the bed. The first straw was passing the first room on our hallway with a large heart shaped sign that said "drop your panties here" with a black thing draped across it. Do not waste your time or money. Pretty much everything
Convenient place to stay close to Universal Orlando. The air conditioner was loud (periodic rattling). Needs to be looked at.
Its garden setting and we always love to stay facing lagoon as the ducks are so friendly!
Excellent location, very well kept ground with nice pool areas and greens.
Location, environment old design, It is 1950's otel. Big holes on curtain and towels. And need refurbishment.
We had NO microwave , shower curtain , king bed , mini fridge , and there was a huge crack through the bathroom mirror . There also was a gay man convention ( we have nothing against gays ) which they surrounded the pools and the bar area, it also made my boyfriend uncomfortable to walk around property without getting eyeballed so we never got to enjoy the pool after he went to go buy a suit because he forgot his at home !!! Also we called the front desk ( because we had no cellphone service ) to find out when Univerisal closed and she told us 10 so we taxied up there around 7:30 to hit the rides at night but Univerisal was closed so we spent $25 on a taxi for no reason !!! We have stayed here 4 or 5 times now and this was our favorite place to stay other than staying on property , after this weekend that has all changed !
