Pros: They somehow managed to make my wife and I feel like the only guests in the hotel. It seemed like there was nothing they couldn't to for us. The concierge brought someone in to set us up with SIM cards, tied up the loose ends in our travel booking with another Oberoi hotel, arranged for a car to take us to the airport set up a tour of Mumbai, as, well as a private cooking lesson with one of the chefs at one of the 3 restaurants on site. They also sent flowers up for my wife just because. It was such a wonderful experience that it's difficult to sum up. Bottom line, ignore any other option, or deal, or what-have-you. You will not find a more incredible experience anywhere.

Pros: We liked everything about the hotel, the rooms were very comfortable, the restaurants were extremely great, the staff was very hospital, friendly and professional, the location was convenient to many attractions and the hotel itself was simply gorgeous.
Cons: There was nothing we did t like about the hotel. Hopefully we will return to it again soon

Pros: It's the taj. It's lovely and our room was freshly redone since last year. It's way too expensive for what you get, but where else would you stay in Mumbai? Cons: I fell sick on my last day in the hotel, but the staff was very sweet. They even sent me an in-room complimentary breakfast on the day of my departure and allowed me to check-out late. Hands down, the best hotel in Mumbai!

Pros: Excellent and friendly staff from the minuet you arrive. Rooms are clean and nice with no frills. Air conditioning, ceiling fan and shower were all in good working order and a small privet balcony to let the fresh air in. Great location right near the sea walk (good for a run or walk), Church street station and a few restaurants. Also a good ice cream sandwich shop straight across the street.
Cons: The price feels just a bit high when coming to Mumbai form other parts of India where costs are so low.

Cons: Sound isolation, or the lack of it. AC was so loud I had to turn it off, and my room (514) was next to the elevator shaft, once they start using it at 7 in the morning it's no point in trying to sleep anymore. Also, bed didn't have any sheet, you had to user the cover sheet as a blanket. I suspect they don't wash those every day.

Pros: I just needed a place to sleep and some WiFi, but I even got a private room at a fairly low price and the breakfast option was good.
Cons: The only problem was that I had trouble with mosquitoes biting me at night. Window screens and a mosquito zapper racket or even a net would make it much better.
