Breakfast was good. Downstairs was nice.
The rooms were old and not well maintained. The shower flooded the bathroom. Rooms were small.
Excessive prices and unfriendly bar staff
£18 for a vodka and coke and £9 per pint. What’s more all bills have a 12.5% discretionary service charge which isn’t brought to your attention. Bar staff also have poor English and are unhelpful and rude.
helpfulness and friendliness upon reception
door of room needs caulking to reduce noise from hall
The staff were excellent
No pool/jacuzzi facilitiesbathroom a tad small considering deluxe upgrade taken
Excellent location, superb room and staff were exceptionally polite and accomodating. In fact the staff really stood out among a lot of hotels I have been at. Breakfast was also great.
The Guiness tap was out at the bar.
