Very modern, good location, good customer service From time to time device for room control had to be restarted. Internet, in the room we stood, was slow.
The corner room is great. The room size is decent-to-big. The TV is the biggest we've had in a hotel room within Europe. The bathroom floor has the option to be heated and the bathroom liquid soap and shampoo are from Azzarro (sp?). They smelled so very good!!! The hotel provides a delicious, full breakfast with two free coffee/cocoa/cappuccino makers for guests and are available 24 hours a day. The bar is open 24 hours a day but the hotel's front-desk employees will need to clear their area to tend bar. The hotel is literally across the street from the Krakow Glowny (main train station). The wifi signal was good/strong as the signal never went away. All-in-all a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Krakow. I'll stay at other Puro hotels in Poland, given the opportunity. Only issue is with the lack of early check-in. It was bad timing that they had been sold out the day before our scheduled check-in date. We caught an early train and arrived at the hotel at 7am on our check-in date. Unfortunately, because check-in time is 3pm and the hotel had been fully booked the night before, there weren't any available rooms as check-out time is noon. We needed to shower before our 11:30am tour pick-up but our room wasn't ready until 12:45pm and we were already in our tour. The front desk lady tried to help but it was out of her control.
Andels is a beautiful, newer hotel in a great location near the train and bus stations, big shopping mall, the Planty, and old town – including a pedestrian tunnel to get there! Free internet, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and quiet even though on a main street.
The location was perfect near the Railway Station and the Old Town. The breakfast had a very good choice.
Staff had poor english skills, and were easily confused.
Very nice hotel - modern and sleek design. Situated conveniently amongst all the major sightseeing attractions. Great hotel staff - very accommodating and interested to make certain our stay was pleasurable.
nice kind staff.clean room.good breakfast.
Great location close to attractions. Staff speaks English. Good breakfast buffet. Overall great stay.
The location, rooms, resturant, breakfast - everything was excellent. This is my second stay at this hotel
excellent service, friendly staff, good value for price
We stayed one night in March. We got in several hours before check in time. Not one restaurant in the area was open for breakfast so we decided to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious I would recommend getting it with the room if possible. Since we were desperate to get some sleep we decided to upgrade to a superior room with did not cost very much and we go in right there and then. The room was a good size and very clean. In at the afternoon we got 3 cakes delivered and there was free water in the room. The area is wonderful, right next to a big shopping mall and the translation. Also, walking to anywhere in main Krakow from the hotel is a breeze. The mattress was horrible ! I have never seen or slept on such a thing. Weird choice by the hotel to put that in the rooms. TV did not work but we also did not call to fix it.
Just about everything An additional 'easy-chair' in the bedroom would be welcome.
Convenience Confusing when looking for hotel as logo looks as if the name of the hotel is Lande7 (inverted "L") Not a good logo
The central location and the fact tat the hotel was fairly new and very modern. The bedrooms I feel are very masculine - could do with a little feminine touch - expecially a mirror above the dressing table!
Excellent breakfast. Very friendly hotel, helpful staff No tea making facilities in the room. No real hotel guide, including no tv operation guide.
We thought it was very comfortable. Loved the design and the central location Enjoyed spa and pool and the breakfast was very enjoyable. It was really enjoyable to come back to in the evening Overall staff very pleasant and efficient Great value for money There wasnt anything that we didnt like the only thing that concerned us was that when we went to check out the staff member said according to the hotel we had not shown up? couldnt understand this email when we got home and there was a mention that we were considered a no show and we were concerned about charges because of the confusion
The quiet atmosphere The bar at the 6 floor was closed...
Loved our room and spa facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wi Fi in room good. Breakfasts individually cooked, none of the cooked several hours in advance nonsense Looked after us well. Air port shuttle car a good price too. We want to return. Room lighting could have been a bit brighter.
Then I left some laundry in my room in a black bag and they stole it! Crazy. I ream really nice taylored suits and shirts were just taken from my room. I was very upset. They denied taking anything, but know exactly what I packed and exactly where I put my things. So I left and am never coming back.
Stunning small luxury hotel just off main city square Good spa facilities and very good food and wine selection
The room was truly great very comfortable and quite close to everything we would go back anytime the service was excellent
Lovely hotel altough rooms a little too dark. Love the swiming pool and relaxing areas. Staff, mostly pleasant and helpful Service at the hotel's top floor restaurant could have been a lot better. It took the waiter 15 mins + to realise they didn't have the bottle of wine we have chosen and rather than suggest another bottle of similar price we were offered one over 50% more expensive!! Also no ironing facilities in room
Fantastic location and immaculate rooms. Staff friendly and breakfast selection great. Would definately recommend it.
It was convenient, relaxed and laid back. Street noise was not a major problem when we stayed but it could be.
This is the second time I have stayed here and I returned because it has one great thing - quiet. Krakow can be a noisy place to stay with lots of clubs, bars and late night partying nearby. This hotel is quiet and guests are not disturbed by street noises or loud music from clubs. It is also very comfortable. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I would also have liked the possibility of eating something at the hotel in the evening - even if only bar snacks of some kind (eg sandwich).
Central location. Large room. Traditional atmosphere. Good service We had a front room which could be noisy during season
The location was fab, a short walk from the train station, quite at night, and only a minutes walk to the main square. All the staff were really pleasant and wanted to please. I would return to this definitley use this hotel again. The bar attached to the hotel shut on some days, I dont know if this was because of the time of year ( March ) but there are still plenty in the area to choose from. So it was not a big deal. The elegant bathroom is usually a shower, we did know that before booking so again no big deal.
You could not do better in picking a hotel on your travels to Krakow. Location: 3 short blocks from the Main Square. You are close enough to the main square to view all the attractions, yet far enough away from crowd noise when you want peace and quiet. Efficiency: Efficent and effect staff throughout the hotel. Accommodations: Clean, beautiful decor, comfortable bed, big bathroom with deep tub and shower. Food: Excellent buffet breakfast with hot eggs and breakfast meat and a wide variety of cheeses, meats, pastry, fruits and cheeses.
Hotel was ideally located nearby tourist attractions and bars/restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Nothing I did not like.
Nice and located in the center and very close to big mall
Helpfull staff, well equipped spacious room, good breakfast. Nicely situated in the old town right next to the Florian gate, which is both 500 mtrs from the central station as 500 mtrs from the main square.
staff were friendly and helpful. All staff spoke english. Quaint hotel, good relaxed atmosphere added to city break experience.
A very good breakfast and nice and clean rooms. The hotel staff were polite and seviceminded. The location in the oldtown.
Reach of wireless signal was at my room. Room was at the end of corridor, that is why. But it is simple thing as wireless repeater for comfortable internet access. Connection was bad all the time, and with that speed as well. Going out of room to get a better connection is stupid. So, if that would be fine, I would give 5 stars, with lack of internet only 3.
Great location, walking distance to most everything you'd want to see. Stellar service! Good food. Great comfortable room and great shower! Super happy with this hotel. Loved the regal vibe.
Excellent service and location. Beautifully clean. Bed very uncomfortable as two single beds were pushed together to make a double. Breakfasts mediocre and creme brûlée awful! But duck was excellent!
Great city location. Nice breakfast included. Turn down service. Only one English TV channel (France 24 News) repeating the same stories over two days.
Very relaxed, friendly hotel, close to central Krakow but in a quiet location
Great location close to old town square. construction site next door
location, great staff
Loevely people generally in Kracow - fabulous architecture - good food - plenty of things to do. Most things were very good value - a bottle of wine was very expensive!
Location was brilliant. You could easily walk to the bus and train stations, old town and Jewish quarter. I asked for a quiet room and got one. But because of the location maybe all the rooms are quiet? Excellent breakfasts. Very expensive. For the price I would have expected a much more spacious room (room was rather cramped) and a stunning view. Our room looked out onto a stone wall. Wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice, cappucinos and eggs done all sorts of different ways were available at breakfast, but you rather had to chase after the staff to get these; they were never offered.
nice quite hotel
Very refined hotel with character. very close to main square. Parking was only 10m from hotel.Breakfast was excellent in lovely dining area.Staff friendly and helpful. Room a little small. We were not told that building works were ongoing both sides of hotel
location & cleanliness i am aware that a may/december relationship is not entirely understood and/or accepted in poland. while it didn't seem to affect the treatment we received from the staff, it would have been nice if a couple of them had not commented loud enough to each other for my fiancee to overhear them.
Excellent location in the old town, clean rooms. Breakfast might have included more variation..
Cleanliness, Location, edequite funtional furniture, Daily change of towels. Staff, Value for money. The air- conditioner is not self- controlled.
there were no english speaking channels on the television
best location for centre very noisey at the week end, mostly from outside, difficult to sleep, also the hotel tried to charge 300zl more, because we had the original quote the amount was changed.
Very helpful staff. air conditioning. there was a heat wave and it wasn't the best.
Location is just perfect - 5 minutes from central station and 3 minutes to city square Hotel stuff was polite, but not so willing to help
Distance from the main square and railway/bus station.
Great location short walking distance to the main square. Good choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff are just about helpfull. Clean and warm. Breakfast overpriced compared to what you could buy locally in restaurants. When you wanted a drink in the bar you always had to go looking for a staff member
Convenient location and comfort Size and quality of towels could be improved.
the location being near the railway station. Room was good. The breakfast was good. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
We lived in the Centrum of Krakow, very nice
Location was excellent for all major aspects of Krakow. Breakfast was good, Bar prices reasonable and meals in restaurant ok. Beds comfortable and room facilities good enough for a short break Very little atmosphere in Bar or Restaurant. I think they have tried to go to simplistic and it comes across a little sterile. Being British, could have done with tea and coffee facilities.
Have been staying at this hotel for the past 15 years during my visits to Krakow. Clean and consistent. The restaurant has the best mushroom soup and potato pancakes in the city. I've tried many and return here regularly. During hot months, they can provide a fan to take the edge off. Very few hotels have AC, plan accordingly. Location to Old Town is excellent. Out the door, straight and you are in the heart of this magical city. I'm a repeat customer and do not have any dislikes.
Location! Value for money! Staff is extremely welcoming! Did not offer mulled wine at the bar :(
business trip so did not have time to really enjoy the facilities this time
Excellent location and staff were extremely helpful Bed cover was dirty. Room was too hot and window would not open enough and no A/C
weather was cold wen we went and the hotel was lovely an worm and the staff wer very helpfull and nice to us! the food! there was to many things we didnt like on the breakfast buffy. we would of been happy with a bit ov toast and beens but that wasnt there. dont get me wrong we both tryd what was on offer but just didnt like it. it didnt bother us to much as we like to eat out anyway.
good location none
It was ideal and so near the centre. we were able to book trips to the salt mines etc through the hotel which was great. The hotel was warm and clean and staff were friendly. I hope to stay there again.
The Location.is perfect. Also a very good resteraunt at very reasonable prices prices
Very convenient for the old town and restaurants
great location, helpful staff, clean, comfortable and elegant. if you're in Krakow, you can't beat the location.
Room was very nice and comfortable with big bathroom. Location of the hotel is great. Staff is friendly and allowed me a really early check in. A plasma or LCD TV would be better as the old TV's picture was not very good. It was strange that the door was not sound-proofed so you can hear if someone is talking outside or they can hear whats going inside...
Large comfortable room (junior suite); good location for sighseeing Shortage of storage space. In a very large room there was only one wardrobe which was too short to hang up a skirt! Only 6 hangers. Small chest which would have been inadequate for a longer stay. Had to clear the tiny dressing table of promotional material to make space for toiletries, brush / conb etc. Small bathroom. Totally inadequate air conditioning. We were given a voucher for a free glass of wine in the Vienna cafe for every day of our stay, however the first time weused it, it was taken from us. Luckily this was our last day and as the Vienna Cafe was totally lacking in the sort of cheerful ambiance (or indeed any sort of ambiance!) we have found in cafes in Vienna, we wouldn't have gone back. Reception staff surly and unhelpful.
The location is excellent. The atmosphere is unique and the quisine is gourmet There is a lot of noise from the street. Double glazing will improve the silence
This hotel is absolutley fantastic and should be chosen streets ahead of the Novotel, Radisson and Sgeratons as it is full of charm. Fantastic location just minutes from the main square, great staff and beautiful rooms. I will be back for sure.
great location, very pleasant staff, very good breakfast offers 1) We used 3 rooms during our six days stay. All of them were missing proper plug-in spot for shaver in the bathroom 2) Bathroom safety in the first room was poor 3) We ordered tea pot in the room - only in the first room such a utility was provided
very friendly staff,an excellent central but quiet location,
Location, 1 minute walk to the main center square in Krakow. Also a really nice Hotel dating back to 1873, the staff were very friendly and helpful. No
It's an old hotel with huge rooms and high ceilings. The breakfast is fine. The staff was always helpful. The beds were hard and there weren't enough pillows in the room. The top bed spread looks like it was installed 750 years ago when the hotel opened.
Location Hot room, Uncomfortable bed
good location value for money food could have been better
The services personnel helped switch our room after we realized that there were too many steps to climb to the second level (my knees find going upstairs difficult). Putting us in a room across from the elevator was so wonderful. Thank you so much for this consideration. Too, the room was comfortable and elegant. The buffet breakfast was amazing. We so enjoyed your venu and would reccommend it to others. The twin quilts that were on the king size bed under the spread - though this wasn't so uncomfortable as to make us complain.
Very, very clean. the cleanest hostel i've ever stayed in. and very quiet, which was also wonderful!
I paid for breakfast and didn't receive it. We had only one sheet for 2 person.
The location is really centered, few minutes from the train station and few minutes from the main square. The hostel consists in one flat with several rooms and toilets, one big common area with two computer with internet connection available and one kitchen furnished with food and drinks for the breakfast. Our room was nice and clean. After the check out time (11.00 am) you are not allowed neither to stay in the common area but you have to leave the hostels with all your luggage.
We stayed for one night and just needed cheap room to catch early morning train to the airport. So very good localization near old town and railway station. Price was great and good value for money. Nice, simple breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and quite big. Shared bathroom was ok. I would recommend it for young people on tight budget who want to be in the middle of activities in Cracow - perfect choice then. Our room was really basic so I would not stay there for more than one night. It was very noisy at night as the window overlooked main street and was very accoustic.
Clean and nice room, many new equipments in the kitchen, clean bathrooms The man on the desk wishes price 20 zl more than I received on the booking form on the internet. Course, I paid only the price written on the form :)
everithing is ok! quickly ended hot water
the bed for two people
Not many ....just good location Staff was not really welcome
Location Loud guests
Private room. Clean. Free breakfast. Clean towels and sheets. Computers with Internet on every floor. Refrigerator on every floor. You can ring the door bell 24x7 for the attendant who lives downstairs. Attendant was very willing to help. No access to laundry that we could see, unless it was via reception which was not open at night.
Very good location - walking distance to market square - 200 meters. Friendly staff.
great location, very central, easy walking distance to the square, beautiful hotel, good breakfast
If I feel somewhere like at home I can't call it "hotel" :-) Really nice place to stay.
Excellent food , v helful staff. No
The decor was excellent and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was probably the best I have ever seen/tasted - a wide variety and declicious. The location couldn't have been better - on the main drag and just a 2 minute walk from the Old Market Square. The staff were very polite and helpful upon arrival. I couldn't really fault the hotel. If I had to be really picky, we didn't get our free water replaced each day and the sink surround/mirror was not wiped over, although the room was tidied each day and was absolutely spotlees upon arrival.
Excellent service. Friendly staff. New and modern design within a period building. Excellent location close the tain staion as well as the main old city square. Top class Restaurant. The Fitness rom was not ready to use yet
This is a great hotel I really suggest it. Location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk far from then main square in the old town, 15 minutes walk fron the Wawel castle and 20 minutes walk to the jewish district Kazimierz. Staff was very kind and spoke a good english. Room was perfectly clean and very elegant. Breakfast was excellent and various. I didn't find anything wrong!
Everything was perfect. The staff at reception was very helpful, the breakfast was great and the location can not be any better. Quick walk to the Square and the train station. No reflection on the hotel, but beware of Pickpockets in Krakow. Someone attempted to pickpocket my husband in the train station and also sadly in St. Mary's Basilica.
The location, the comfort and the courtesy of the staff.
The hotel was situated in an excellent location. Staff were lovely. Room was very good. Breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel
Excellent location, a good standard accommodation for a 3 star hotel Smokey room- as we are non smokers
The bedrooms were very well heated and comfortable and cleaned very well each day. I thought there could be a more variety at breakfast.
Staff helpful and hotel very clean, location brilliant Unfortunately there was building work in an apartment block next door and they started work at 7am - not good with hangover.
Location was great near the city and the train station. God price and breakfast included. Bathroom was big enough. Free bottle of water. Cot for third person in a triple. Very hot in room with no air conditioning or fan.
Excellent location, ideal for all city centre attractions, railway station etc.
position towels were not changed, no litter bin in room only in bathroom, breakfast poor, not enough choice
just location..is near bus and train station. that is all. there has one guy..so rude! uneducated person. he never even answer back my greeting or contact my eyes! dirty room! noisy from recepetion and noisy from next room..so cleary can hear everything! anyone want to be happy then do not go!
location very near main square, bus stop, train station and shopping centre. no fresh towels, poor air con, small pillows, basic facilities.
Breakfast. Bar was not open late for residents.
The location of the hotel is good for site seeing and getting on coach tours to Auswitz and Salt Mines. The breakfast was quite poor, the only thing we could have was toast, cereal and yoghurt. Its fine if you like cheese, ham etc in the morning.
Hotel very central. Clean and comfortable Hotel reception staff very abrupt and unhelpful
Proximity to main shopping street and square. The breakfasts.
location of hotel is excellent easy access to main square and train station everything within walking distance
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the location was good
Good location, right next to train station and close to heart of the city. Clean room, well working air conditioner. Right next to a train stop. My room would rumble and vibrate every time a train came by, every 5-10 minutes?
The Hotel has a lot of character, With a great location, only 3 Minutes from the main station, And a very good choice at breakfast
the hotel was very good value for money, the rooms very clean, dinner in the hotel was fab We found most of the staff very unfriendly especially the reception staff and the guy at the forein exchange office, however the cleaning staff and the waitress were very friendly
This place was nice. Good value.
An excellent hotel, idealy situated for a city break. The staff are first rate and could not be more helpful. The hotel is a delight. Even though the railway station is across the road, you would never know it was there as the trains could never be heard. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Absolutely none
Location, great variety of a breakfast and unique interior. Apartment room was slightly different from pictures shown on the internet.
Location and staff excellent None
we travelled in a group and from first entering the hotel we were well treated no lift which probably would be a hardship to some guests, but i think a lift would spoil the hotel
The hotel was charming in old world style, very comfortable and had good service. It is in an unbeatable location for people wishing to visit the old city of Cracow.
Lovely staff! Great location! Very good value for the money!
the rooms were very big and the beds were insanely comfortable! the building was beautiful although rundown. Breakfast was okay but expected more.
Use of internet, size of room, friendly staff, central location, temperature in room, The food in restaurant
Location and breakfast. We missed the the BBC and CNN channels on the TV.
I liked the atmosphere in the old house and I liked the welcome There was too much noise from the street and some of the servants were not very serviceminded. ex. nobody thank us for the stay and said goodbye. We paid for the room and then the receptionist said something in polish we didn't understand without a smile. It Could have been fine to be introduce to in which room we should eat breakfast and about the cleaning - at 8 o'clock in the morning there was knocked at our door and when we didn't answer nobody cleaned the room at another time. More information with a smile would have been fine
It was very close to the town center which was great
Great location, Hotel with soul (great old architecture, high ceilings, etc.) It might need refurbishment though after such this hotel would become 4-5 star and would no longer be affordable :-)
This hotel is very comfortable. it has very good location, staff are friendly it was ok
Nice comfortable room, good location good selection of food for breakfast near to train station. Very noisey at front of hotel due to trams passing and constant sirens from ambulances passing.
The hotel is located perfectly for trains/trams, very close to city centre and theatre and a couple of minutes walk from the market square. The staff are also very helpful. Breakfast buffet awful, bed matresses uncomfortable, hot water takes an age.
Very near the railway station and very close to all the sights of Krakow
