Good location. Clear that this hotel from the 1960s or 1970s recently underwent an update which was nicely done. Nicely renovated room, needed a new shower head though. No idea why that wasn't replace when room was updated.
Not enough parking.
Room was well done inside. Good proximity to grocery store. Outside bar was very popular Location wasn't close to any sights/attractions. Wasn't clear how to access beach. Looked more like a motel outside.
No beach access
We had a jaccuzzi in our honeymoon suite. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly and we could use all of the 4 pool areas.
My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite for one night. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi was great! The bed was very comfy. I loved that the premises has multiple pools. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable time here! South Florida water can be a bit weird in a jacuzzi situation, not the hotels fault though!
Great location. Nice room. I am happy for big refrigerator. Thsnk you, I had good one night. I miss breakfast there.
The room and the pool 24hrs was great The person in the front desk during the morning shift. Poor manners, horrible service, rude and not friendly.
I loved the modern up to date look of the rooms and they were clean. The pool was open and clean as well.Staff was super nice I didnt like how it shows on the map before booking that its right on the ocean but its actually not. You have to walk about a mile to get to the public access for the beach or drive and pay to park.
The rooms were a great size for the money and offered a lot of amenities. The only real option for parking was valet or nearby meter spots. While the valet wasn't a bad price, I would have preferred garage self parking.
Luis, the valet, was outstanding. He even ran out to the car to get my wife's blanket one night. We wished we had a view of the Intracoastal, but the view of the ocean was nice. The elevators were super fast!! The restaurant was good, but we wished there was more on the menu. The continental breakfast was decent. We will be back!! The covers on the toilet paper rolls. It made them hard to use, especially for bigger people. Also, bathroom was In awkward location. We walked around te lounge area after dinner one nigt and there were still towels on the lounge chairs and empty drink cups. We're not sure how long they had been there, but it was dark outside.
They did not find my reservation, but they have room, and we got upgrade room
Clean rooms, spacious rooms but badly laid out. We all know first impressions count and when the reception staff and supervisor are rude, insulting and argumentative, it does not bode well. We had prepaid for 2 rooms but were expected to sign for $134 'as terms and conditions', well the majority of your guests maybe naive enough to do this, but frequent worldly travellers are not, and insulting behaviour does not improve your position. The rooms are clean, but have very poor, very badly laid out facilities. Only one mirror in the small sink area right beside the microwave and coffee making is not practical. And with no plugs accessible using travel adaptors near the bed this just typifies the poor design and lack of attention to detail. No breakfast or food at all. The 'palace' is nowhere near the ocean or beach and is beside a very busy road with very poor soundproofing between rooms or the road. At our time of visit there was roadworks outside but of course this is not the hotels fault however the lack of soundproofing made it worse from 7am to 7pm. Terrible hotel was many issues to be avoided.
I like the color and decoration theme outside/ inside... Good use of the space was made to fit microwave and refrigerator...good location.. Walking distance from food stores and pharmacy.. Buses stops outside to the beach or shopping areas...Staff was great and helpful. The bathroom needs to be renovated..the toilet is too small and creaks a lot..the bathroom is too small to have a bathtub.. A walk in shower would suffice... Where my room was had a sign next door that said quiet corner..it was the nosiest motel I've ever stayed.. The neighbors kept slamming the doors... The lamps between the beds should be higher in order to not block the person on the other bed.
This motel is situated just beside the A1 highway. I thougt that the traffic noise could be a nuisance but it didn't. The room was very clean and the the bathroom shower had the best tap and pressure among the hotels I stayed in during our 2 week trip to Floida. The room had clinker floor and thus didn't have any smell as the rooms in most hotels have. The staff was very helpful and drove us to the nearest water taxi station. Thanks! The price-quality relation is good. This motel is situated 1-2 miles north from the beach strip and the nearest public beach is 10 minute walk away. If you want to have beach life, there are better alternatives. The wireles network was not operating in the rooms, only near to front desk. The internet connection in the room with the wire did not work with my laptop. The pool was in the other hotel, but near. No restrooms beside the room.
Location I did not like anything about the hotel except location
Nothing The breakfast was only juice and muffins. The TV in the room didn't work.
Great stay in a comfy clean room
My friend and I were on a quickie trip this time around. As a budget travrler, I dont concern myself with luxury. This location was priced right and the beds were clean. The room itself was spacious for two individuals and overall clean. The staff was helpful (with printing my boarding pass) and all are friendly The walls are thin and could hear other guests in thier rooms but theg were being noisy. Behavior of other guests is not a reflection of the property.
I liked the location. Although it wasn't right on the beach it was very close. Dining, shopping and even a pharmacy was all within walking distance. The room was filthy, smelled like mildew and the windows were nailed shut so we couldn't open them to air out the room. We had to buy scented candles(which I burned my entire stay) and spray the carpet with lysol to get rid of the smell. The towels were dingy and rough and the carpet was very dirty. I was afraid to sleep in the bed bcz of how dirty and smelly the room was. We could tell the place had not had a thorough cleaning or an update in a while. The shower curtain looked like it had been there for years. It was stained and dirty (gross). I was afraid to go barefoot on the carpet so I kept my flip flops(sandals) on the whole time. I even wore them in the shower. At one point I left muddy foot prints on the tile from walking in wet sandals on the carpet. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there. As a matter of fact I would recommend NOT staying there.
