Cons: The property is on on a busy street and a we had a room that was on the street. Being a light sleeper, we found it noisy as the traffic was continuous throughout the night. If we had stayed another night we would have asked to move to a different room.

Cons: If you need to be near city centre this may not be the place for you. There is a bus that leaves from outside the door but I had heavy bags so took a cab there, and then I felt too far away to get back into city centre. I had to walk 20 minutes from the B&B to find a coffee shop and 10 minutes for the nearby dinner spot, and I took a cab back because it was raining. This is not at all the owners' fault - they were delightful and did everything right!

Cons: The double bed was very comfortable and the linen excellent. We are used to sleeping in a king size bed so that made it a little difficult to get used to. There is no cooling in the room and a small fan would be better than nothing as the room was very warm in the recent "hot" weather experienced in Dublin which made sleeping uncomfortable.

Cons: When we arrived it was obvious that the owner had been smoking indoors. As we were in the next door property I didn’t mind too much but it didn’t create a good impression. Seems to be run by one man on his own, didn’t see anyone else, he appeared to do his best but not much attention to detail. Furniture is crammed in to rooms, nothing matches, piles of spare bedding, vacuum cleaner etc cluttering up shared lounge area. Our room held one very small double and one single bed, not much room to move. Cracked and broken floor tiles, and an empty vodka bottle in the bedside cabinet! Also the owner will only take payment in CASH, he said this was made clear in booking details. Didn’t want to make a fuss but I checked and can’t see this.

We really appreciated that our room was ready so early, since we were exhausted. Having a place to store our luggage on check out day was a plus. Pros: I had the same room as in pictures, clean, nice, just excellent. The location is perfect. Close to the airport (20 min by bus 16a) and very close to the city center (10 min by any bus). Bus stop is next to the hotel. In the neighbourhood are Tesco, a Thai restaurant (very good and not expensive), kiosk, Croke Park. This is the best place to stay in Dublin.

Pros: The customer service was the best. The staff was excellent, especially Laura. She went above and beyond to help us, even when we saw her on the bus. We really appreciated that our room was ready so early, since we were exhausted. Having a place to store our luggage on check out day was a plus. The Bar and Grill was very good both for dinner and breakfast. We are glad that we booked a second night on our return to Dublin after touring.

Cons: The room was not renovated like the pictures advertised we did not the the room type requested there was a total of 3 beds for me and my husband it was the last night of our honeymoon so I thought I would splurge and the room I received did not match the price I payed. There was also construction that started outside at 6:30 am with a long flight back we did not get much sleep at all and nothing was done to compensate for our discomfort or lack of room.

Cons: We we reserved and were sold “an executive king” with a view and upon arrival were told no such accommodation exists (caution!). in fact, our executive king was actually a quite small king room, with a view of parking lot and busy street and no air conditioning. It turns out that is situation with many of the hotel’s rooms. The only way to get ventilation is to open a window which gives you much highway noise. Not at all a restful setting.

Pros: Rooms cleaned well. All staff were fantastic especially Nima at reception Julia and Prety in the restaurant. Easy to get to heart of the city on No:16 bus. They serve a fantastic rib steak in the dining room. A great place with nice people!
Cons: There is a dog that barks a lot at night behind the hotel as well as a rooster that crows in the morning. Liam the doorman told me this is something that is new. I’m sure they will remedy this with the neighbours. I had a great stay here otherwise.

I only looked harder because of the extortionate prices the bigger hotels were asking. The courtesy bus was brilliant, way better than the dearer hotels. They have a definite time for leaving and the drivers are really helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was great, we expected continental but they have hot as well and plenty of it. It’s our go to hotel for flying in the future.

Cons: Our flight arrived at around 1:00 a.m. and we had to take a taxi as the shuttle doesn't run after midnight. The view was a metal wall which was a shame as the hotel backed onto lots of trees.

Cons: Great Irish welcome & hospitality - the owner of the B&B couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble - even allowed us a later check out time as I was not feeling well and free of charge. We will be returning for sure. Cannot fault and highly recommend.

Cons: The breakfast the next morning was a disaster. 28 euro for 2 people which is so wrong considering the money we spent to stay there first of all. But then we found out we paid that money for a buffet breakfast which is crazy and plus the breakfast was horrible and the women working in there especially one woman was the rudest waitress I have ever met in my life. She ignored me twice when I asked for tea, I asked her where the croissants were and she pointed towards the cereal area (they were not there) and said “around there somewhere have a look sure” in a sarcastic tone. Would not recommend the breakfast in this hotel at all.

Perhaps we should feel lucky that nobody else was actually using the toilet. Plus the 'parking' promised was not even available. Put the pictures up, maybe you will get some poor unfortunate willing to be treated in this way. What did I like you say? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. This was the most duplicitous thing I have ever booked in Ireland. This is our capital city for bleep's sake!!! Since it turns out this was not in fact a joke, no comedians burst out of the shower unit beside the bed to shout, 'you're on camera' ha ha ha, the joke is on our tourist industry. Plus as an Irish person the restraint here in not swearing like a trooper is phenomenal. Whomsoever thought this was an acceptable offering for €75 is very sorely mistaken and should be severely punished. This is the kind of thing the public stocks should be brought back for.

Cons: How dare you put a bed into a bathroom and called it accommodation. A hostel was available that night, and it would certainly have been more agreeable to share with people than with the open toilet. I am in shock that this is even allowed. Surely there are health regulations that should prevent such a travesty. And yes I will be pursuing the matter rigorously. €75 euro to sleep in the toilet. Is this what Dublin tourism is reduced to on a busy night. Take them for what we can, sure they can lump it or like it! The more I think about it the angrier I get. Why does the unhappy selection on booking dot com still give points to this hovel? 2.5 points it would seem is the lowest score, when I want to get well into the minus category.

Pros: First morning the Irish breakfast had white toast, black & white pudding [something like that] and link sausages. I was not asked if I wanted whole wheat toast, that would have been appreciated. Did not care for the black & white, and sausages were so-so. Second morning I asked for some substitutions. Omit the black & white and sausages, substitute a second egg and mushrooms [which were listed on the vegetarian breakfast]. The waiter cheerfully agreed and this time asked about whole wheat toast. I suggested it be added to the menu as the Yankee Irish Breakfast. The staff at the hotel were uniformly gracious and helpful. The room was small and well appointed. The shower stall is small and the doors are 3 panels that slide. If someone had too big of a gut, he or she would not be able to get into the shower in my room. If the double rooms were significantly larger, it might be a wonderful place for a romantic encounter. Also those may not be carrying luggage for a month long trip.

Cons: Needs complete redecoration. Bedroom ( And when I say bedroom i mean short corridor) was never meant to be twin room, however they had managed to shoehorn 2 small single beds in there! The carpet was dirty and reminded me of a 70’s nightclub. Feet stuck to it! In the en suite shower room things remained much the same, not very clean and with an aroma of antiseptic about the place. The shower cubicle door had been partially broken and replaced with a shower curtain on a pole. I paid £130 for one night, if it had been £50 I wouldn’t have been quite as disappointed. Would never stay there again
