Pros: The breakfast included, exceeded my expectations. Hotel had lots of character and was comfortable. The hotel reminded me a lot of staying in my grandparents old farm house so it was very homie. The staff was wonderful and friendly. I would definitely go back, but would book a room with a balcony instead.
Cons: The pictures are a little misleading, since the room we booked was definitely smaller and didn't have the same quality furnishings . We weren't in the room much, so that was okay. Overall it was a nice stay and had very few complaints.
Pros: My only regret is that we only stayed one night ! My first overnight stay in Chattanooga & I will never stay anywhere else ! The most beautiful Inn with modern accommodations yet they've kept the original charm of the building ! I read the reviews about the breakfast but they didn't do it justice ! The chef made biscuits that are out of this world ! The room was huge & bed extremely comfortable. Not your typical, sterile, cookie cutter hotel room ! I can't wait to go back again !
The Dwell Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Chattanooga. The bar is a great place to grab a drink, and guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Terra Máe, which serves regional cuisine and is open for dinner. Rooms at this boutique hotel offer upscale touches like private spa tubs and soaking tubs, along with LED TVs and premium bedding.
Cons: That the rooms didn't have a microwave with the inconvenience of going to lobby to use the public microwave. Other than that it's a nice, clean, and convenient area hotel.
Pros: Nothing, bad experience.
Cons: The climate unit in my room went wonky. Was set to cool, but woke up at 3AM covered in sweat with temp in rhe mid 80s and the unit blowing heat ! Called downstairs, was told to come down for keys to another room. In the morning, desk clerk said can't adjust price because I booked through Kayak, offered me a candy bar ! I will never stay there again.

Pros: Across the street from the Children's Museum, walking distance to the Aquarium, close to restaurants and shops. Great views from the rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Cons: The pool heater broke the day we arrived. My children were most excited about swimming! They allowed us to swim in their sister hotel down the street which was very nice. It could not be helped but it was disappointing not being able to use the pool in our own hotel.

Pros: It was clean, staff was friendly, pool was fun for kids, breakfast had a large variety of options and it was delicious.
Pros: The room was plenty big enough for my husband and I, plus our 13 yr old son. We also had a full refrigerator and sink, with a little cook top and all the plates, cups, silverware, etc. The king-size bed was so comfy! The breakfast was good, enjoyed fresh fruit everyday. Overall a great stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone!
Cons: The TV is on a swivel stand that faces one side of the room or the other. If we were in bed watching TV then our son couldn't see the TV on the other side of the room where the pull-out couch was, and vice versa. But for us that was no big deal really!
Pros: Room was very clean, well designed, and comfortable. Location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go, and the cost was significantly lower than staying downtown.
Cons: Mattress was very firm and uncomfortable. Breakfast quality and variety could be improved.

Pros: The hotel was very clean staff very nice our room was Oder free, lobby bathrooms and sinks were spotless.
Pros: Comfortable room and bed, located near shopping and in a good area
Cons: Traffic around the hotel was usually heavy, breakfast was great but stayed really busy for the hole time. By busy I mean 10-15 minutes to get a waffle, this sucks when you have 2 hungry toddlers first thing in the morning haha
Pros: The rooms were clean & beds super comfortable. The complementary hot breakfast was very good. My kids loved the pool. Most of the staff was friendly.
Pros: Very clean facility in a great location. The staff were at tentative. There was a great breakfast. Nice safe location close to restaurants and shops No hesitation recommending this hotel.

Cons: The fact I could hear everything happening in the hallway including to kids playing some game at 7:30 am on a Sunday and one guest continually knocking on another guests door while saying housekeeping at least 20 times in two morning.
Pros: Location to downtown was great
Cons: Staff complained to each other in front of guests, room was small and even though it was a corner room, it only had 1 window. Only 2 elevators for 15 floors and its shared by the staff (no freight elevators) so wait times were bad. Check-in time was 3pm but room was not ready until 3:45pm. Overall it was "ok" but not what I expect from a DoubleTree.
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: The bar and pool close way to early.

Cons: It was really expensive (150 for one night) and didnt even include parking which was another 8 dollars per day.
Didnt realize their was a hostel in town in a better location and much cheaper.
Pros: Attractive Hotel
Cons: Very expensive for the small room we had.
Very loud facility - room right by elevators and ice machine and constant foot traffic and loud staff members.
The entire hotel was filled with a conference and we were placed in amongst them - many of the facilities were used by the conference.
After a late night with lots of loud disturbances we were awoken just after 5 am and forced to evacuate the building. After standing outside for a half hour we were given no explanation on why we had to evacuate other than the 6 fire engines that pulled up - then left shortly after.
I'm sure it's a fine hotel - but we just didn't have a good experience.
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff.
Cons: Being charged for parking.
Cons: I don't believe after paying over $200 a night, we should have to also pay $8 a day to park our vehicle. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working very well.
Pros: Friendly staff, a number of good restaurants nearby, convenient to battlefields
Pros: Lobby and rooms were well decorated. The hotel is in close proximity to Warehouse Row and about a mile from the Aquarium and arts district. Kids loved the indoor pool even if it was small.
Cons: The hotel could have been somewhat cheaper. We didn't eat here because the prices were just as high or more than top restaurants in town. The shower pressure was obnoxiously strong. We stood in a pool of water because it couldn't drain fast enough. Rooms are nice but a bit tight for a whole family.
Pros: This was a nice hotel, very beautiful on the inside. Great music in the bar room. Valet was super nice.
Cons: Our shower had very low water pressure and as a female with long hair, this took forever And was very comfortable . also the shower was clogged so we took showers in a filled bath. When they said they would come fix it right away I thought they meant within the hour, but instead it took about 3-4 hours for the person to show up. By this time we had gone out to eat, and have drinks, go back to the room and start getting ready for bed by the time he showed. The hotel said they couldn't do anything for us because we had gone through price line to get our room, which I have never heard that one before. Room rates were overpriced in my opinion, stayed at a cheap motel that has been the same if not better.
Pros: Great facilities and excellent staff. Indoor pool was key for Spring Break.
Cons: Was not very close to main attractions in the city and not in a very good part of the neighborhood. Not the best place to walk with young children.
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: Small rooms for the price......
Paying to park...
Pros: Room was clean and in good shape. Good size tub and shower. Attractive fire pit outside. Door staff was friendly.
Cons: The garage's lighting was either mostly lacking or not working when we were there. Coffee in the room was poor.
Cons: Overpriced. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Average at best.
Pros: The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Having the sauna, steam room and pool/hot tub included with the stay made the price of the hotel worth it. Live music and a fireplace in the lobby made the evening relaxing. The cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The staff at the spa was not up to par. I have a medical condition and called a week in advance to ask about setting up a spa package that would accommodate my needs. None of my three calls were returned. As for the hotel's restaurant, The Broad Street Grille, was overpriced and the wait staff was terrible. We walked out before ordering because we waiteds so long for service.

Pros: It's not like other holiday inn express hotels that are nice. It was kind of dirty And my husband had to clean the shower drain just to get water to go down it was so nasty!!! Also- the breakfast is mostly all microwaved food like microwaved eggs, bIscuits ect. The pool was so gross you couldn't see the bottom and it was freezing. Who doesn't have a heated indoor pool? It was so cold my kids couldn't swim
Cons: The front staff were nice.
Pros: Clean room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Perfect location near Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga.
Cons: I feel like I overpaid for this type of hotel, but I had little options on a week's notice.

Pros: Breakfast was great - a lot of options! And Jeffrey at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful!
Cons: Bed was just ok, not the most comfortable.
Pros: Overall the hotel was nice. My only issue, of which is minor, was that they charge you to park on hotel property. Thought that was just a nickel and dime fee. Besides that, no complaints. Great hotel.
Cons: In making a reservation, you expect not to have to wait to get the room you reserved. I had to wait over an hour and a half past check-in time for the room to be cleaned.
Pros: Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was good. Close to downtown so we were able to walk to most locations for dinner and drinks which was very nice. Close to aquarium, ballpark.
Cons: Had to tell the maid to service the room. Elevator made weird noises so we took the stairs.

Pros: Great location if you have a scheduled event at the convention center. Good amenities.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable. Man at check in was working on computer and told me to what a minute. After several minutes (5-7), when a supervisor came out of the back and asked if I needed help, he then stopped what he was doing to help me.
Pros: The staff was very helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Nice place with friendly staff. The grab and go free breakfast worked out well.
Cons: Room had 1 bed and sleeper sofa.
Pros: We liked the breakfast buffet with fruit! We liked the cookies at the checkin.
Cons: The hot tub was out of order.
Pros: Would stay here again was very clean nice lunch at breakfast would recommend it to anyone else
Pros: The staff were soooo kind and accommodating!! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved the room and that they had an indoor pool. I can't say enough about the kind staff and cleanliness though:)
Pros: The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very nice and polite at all times. There were many things available like a 24 hour mini store for things you need or forgot today pack. The breakfast was included and actually had an excellent selection.
Cons: Painfully slow elevator. The finishes are still nice and clean but the patterns are dated. The bathroom in the room I was in had a broken and badly repaired shower wall. The air conditioner was a standard hotel air conditioner that is very efficient at cooling, but they do a bad job of drying out the room.

Cons: Decor of the room... It was really old, tear wallpaper, toilet paper holder fell when we touched it, a chair in the room was stained...
Definitely not something you would expect from in a hotel with this reputation and this price range
Cons: The room was nice and clean but the heat would not go above 68 degrees. We froze considering it was snowing and in the 30's outside!
Pros: They upgraded our room without us asking. They were very helpful with recommendations for breakfast. The pool and fitness center were clean and a nice amenity for the hotel. I would absolutely return.
Cons: The bathroom was small but clean. It is to be expected from a historic hotel.
Cons: Charming interior and comfortable bed, but not very clean and shows its age.
Pros: The hotel was beautiful, extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Pros: It's a beautiful historic place.
Cons: It's difficult to get around the separate towers. The pool area should be promoted more.
Pros: location downtown was great for our weekend to see and do things around Chattanooga. We saw 2 outdoor concerts in the evening and really enjoy the atmosphere of downtown.
Cons: No mini refrigerator in the room. Other than that the room, staff and hotel was excellent.
Pros: The decor and carved wood is remarkable!
Pros: I was getting engaged and the staff did absolutely nothing to make it special or give me their time of day to help with improving my moment. Definitely don't expect anything more than a room key from the staff or their attention.
Cons: I would have expected the staff to be a little more accommodating, but they are definitely not a 4star staff. This hotel has all the potential to be a better hotel, but the staff and no fridge in the room makes it 3 stars.
Pros: Location/Pillows/Check-in staff
Cons: Poor service from valet staff. Constantly locked out of room. Hair on bed/pillows. Dated decor.
Pros: Excellent friendly staff.
Cons: room was small

Cons: Wrong room. Then then rooming booked was sold out AC didn't work so they had a bring us a box fan. The bath tub would get clogged up and we would be up to our ankles when taking a shower. A nice hotel for the price, then you have to pay for the breakfast. Will not be going back
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Room smelled funny, pool deck falling apart, bathroom dirty.
Pros: Seaff. The Shower.
Cons: Chairs too low in restraint.

Pros: We loved the hot tub room. Was nice to relax after hiking most of the afternoon. Housekeeping was efficient and room was cleaned great each day. Great price. Location close to a lot of great restaurants and just miles from downtown on a short drive. We were very satisfied. We didn't wake up early enough to try the breakfast.
Cons: Everything was fine
Pros: The price and location were great. The hotel staff was friendly. It was clean.
Cons: The workout room was cramped and had a thermostat locked at 75 degrees.
Cons: We were disappointed that the hot tub was broken. (Only reason we picked this location)
Pros: We appreciated the continental breakfast.
Cons: I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness. It was so humid in the hotel that all the carpets felt wet. There was also pink and black mildew all around the mat in the tub.
Pros: Everything was great except the shower pressure was non existent!
Pros: Air conditioning worked great.
Cons: First night there was a major fight outside our room. Loud cursing and due to fight, people hitting up against the wall and door (we were in a corner room). When the fight escalated to the point of our actually being concerned for our safety, I called the desk downstairs. It rang and rang, no answer. Police came. Needless to say, many hours before getting back to sleep. Next day, after asking about it, we were advised that it was guests (under a corporate account) and police had escorted them out that night. Also advised, fight had involved furniture being thrown in hallway. We were away from hotel next morning 8-11:15. Husband was in room from 11:15 until 1:00. We both left at 1 and when we returned later the room had not been cleaned. After calling the desk, a very rude desk clerk advised that a sign had been on the door when they came to clean the room and no one could clean the room or change the sheets because they left at 1:00. (Don't know why they didn't come earlier or knock on the door to check about cleaning.) We asked for clean towels at least and got the run around. The clerk even responded after my husband told her how unhappy we were with our stay that, "I hope you won't report this to Corporate." We went to our dinner appointment and when we returned, no towels. I went down to the desk and picked them up myself. Next day, when checking out, we expressed our displeasure with the hotel and service. No apology, no anything. There are several hotels in that area. This is not the service you would expect from a Wyndham, and I can assure you that our business will be going to someone else in the future. (I am contacting Wyndham Corporate.)

Pros: Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast in the bistro ($20 breakfast for $10 when purchased in advance with room).
Cons: Somehow my room number was charged for a dinner we didn't have. The staff initially disputed this but eventually removed the charge. Also no elevator is a pain but not a huge deal.

Pros: The bedding, the pool area didn't overwhelm with a chlorine smell. Modern interior.
Cons: The mini fridge in the room was unplugged, not sure how long, so it stunk pretty bad.
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable furniture
Cons: "Cotton candy" pillows that disappear when you put your head on them.

Cons: I didn't like how slow the process was to check in and then when I checked in they told me my room wasn't ready. They did do a good job at finding me another one, it took longer than it should have but they did find me a new one, but once I got up to my room it happen to be near the room I was suppose to get and I then realized why my room wasn't ready. It was because the maids were too busy taken selfies of themselves in the room I was suppose to get. Here's another reason why this process frustrated me. It was the night before my wedding and I was needed to get to the venue and I was late due to my room not being ready and I really couldn't help but feel my room would have been ready if the maids weren't goofing off and taking selfies of themselves. My experience wasn't pleasant as I had hoped.
Pros: Breakfast was decent.
Cons: Construction was going on the whole time I was there, so sleeping past 6am wasn't possible. The room wasn't stocked properly and getting clean towels took an act of Congress. Just a miserable experience.
Cons: Staff was rude and seemed bothered we were checking in and didn't even give us directions to the nearest elevator. Room was OK except for pillows were too soft and not enough towels. When we asked for more, again they seemed bothered. And breakfast was a joke. Cold boiled eggs that had instructions to "warm them up by putting them in a cup of hot water", no forks or Condiments, most juice and milk dispensers were out, and when asked if there were any more forks anywhere, again they seemed bothered.
Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent even at 9:30 am.
Cons: The beds were quite firm.
Pros: Room was very big, very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable!

Pros: It was new and clean. Restaurant and bar were good, service very friendly.
Cons: Internet didn't work, dead plug in the wall. The Internet was a significant annoyance for a company that seems to mostly entertain business travel.
Pros: We loved the staff especially Jade our server in the bar/restaurant. She was amazing and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and recently updated.
Cons: The reason we paid slightly more for Holiday Inn over other hotels was for the bar and restaurant. The restaurant was out of everything. It had no chicken, no salmon, half the menu was unavailable. The bar only served beer. I don't drink beer. I wanted a nice glass of wine after 10 hours of driving and to go up to my room. We didn't even chance the rest of our meals there. Which was the point of reserving at Holiday Inn. We are driving across the East Coast and we got a different hotel that was $40 cheaper and the room was just as nice with no bar and no restaurant.
Pros: Easy check in, need comfy
Cons: No parking, room smelled like mold, horrible pillows
Pros: Needed to check my wife in early so I could do business for a few hours and allow her to relax. You could not have been more accommodating.
Cons: Empty! No dislikes. But, did see several Fall bugs visiting the room. No big deal for us.
