Plane
When flying to Cannes, you’ll arrive at Nice Cote d'Azur Airport (NCE), which is located 20 km from the city centre. The shortest flight to Cannes from Malaysia departs from Penang and takes around 21h 30m.
Train
SNCF is the most popular train carrier serving Cannes, followed by Trenitalia. The train journey from Cannes to Marseille takes 2h 29m and costs around RM 189 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Aix-en-Provence, expect to pay about RM 104 for a 2h 40m trip. Located 0.3 km from the city centre, Cannes is the busiest station in Cannes. Another popular train station is Cannes la Bocca, located 2.5 km from the centre.
Bus
Several bus lines operate bus routes to Cannes, including FlixBus, BlaBlaBus and Union Ivkoni. From Aix-en-Provence, the bus ride to Cannes takes 209 km and will cost you around RM 81. From Marseille, the ticket costs about RM 81 for a journey of 225 km. The most popular bus station is Cannes Aire des Bréguière, located 4 km from the city centre of Cannes. Cannes Quai Laubeuf is also a commonly used station, and is 0.7 km from the city centre.
