Cons: My in-room coffee maker was a bit finicky, but it worked. I just had to push the brew button a few times to get a full cup.

Cons: Room air was extremely dry, which must be fixed to the entire HVAC system in the building. While the room and all facilities are clean, some facilities are getting old and failing already - bath tub water control was loose, temperature control buttons weren't quite responsive, etc.

Cons: Who wants to pay for parking when you attend a hotel, no one, so I really don't like that we had to pay $15 a night for parking, but I get it. Also, I hate when hotels put holds on your debit cards, then you have to wait for the crazy fee and amounts to be refunded, it's like hello, why are you locking up my funds to begin with.

Cons: orbitz double booked us which caused ploblems I did not want to deal with

Cons: Hard to book during the festival, but price keeps the clientele at a higher standard.

Cons: We did not like the cost and we were disappointed in the cleanliness. The room was not filthy by any sense of the word, but when we arrived in the room there was an empty coke bottle sitting out and we were missing soap for the sink. We stayed several days and one day the room did not get cleaned. The carpet needed vacuumed and the furniture was dusty.

Cons: I was extremely disappointed that the people in the room next to mine began talking loudly at 5:00 am and continued to do so after I waited and hour before calling the front desk. Despite being told that they would speak with the guests, the loud talking continued, and I was forced to cut my trip short. I was really looking forward to sleeping late having had an extremely long work day the day before, but that did not happen. I checked out at 7:00 am and drove three hours to be able to get some rest in my own bed. At check out, the staff was rather indifferent about it all. In addition, I was disappointed that I had to pay for a full day's parking when I left two hours after checking in and again the following morning when I left early because I was unable to get any rest.

Cons: There wasn't clearly marked hotel parking... we used the valet, which turned out to be somewhat comparable in price. Valet staff was very friendly and fast.

Cons: Being located across the street from a very busy downtown fire station was annoying. $30 parking was steep considering price paid for room.

Cons: Our room wasn't ready at check-in time and took an additional 20 minutes before we could get there

Cons: Although the bathroom door was neat, it barely serves its purpose-privacy. Having a real door would provide better privacy to use the restroom. There was a significant gap in between the wall and the door. A ventilation fan in the bathroom would be nice. Not all rooms have a great view, but go outside and there it is.

Cons: Noise - walls are paper thin. Loud guest noise in hallway and elevator area. Amenities. Had to ask for shampoo, etc. Coffee was not replenished.

Cons: Took them three times to give me the room I paid for. Paid for a deluxe room with king mattress and at first for two full beds no deluxe, then a handicap room with a king mattress, and finally the correct room the third time.

Cons: I arrived only to be told that they had over-sold that evening and that they could not honor my reservation. They moved me to a lesser-quality hotel up the street for the same amount of money.

Cons: It was after 3pm before I could check in and it would have been longer if I would have waited for the double room I requested when I made my reservations.

Cons: Some areas had strong smell of marijuana or weeds.

Cons: I called guest services several times for items I forgot to bring and never received them. This is one of the things that they have on a card where they can provide many items and will send up to your room. This was not something they delivered on.

Cons: No complaints. Our stay was perfect!

Cons: The rooms didn't seem to be kept up as nicely as the price of them would suggest. Furniture was not very well maintained. It looked like pieces had been repainted in a black gloss paint multiple times. The room could have also been a bit cleaner.

Cons: From the moment I got there to check in the person at the front desk was rude. My room wasn’t ready so she told me it would be closer to 3pm. I mentioned that I needed to be ready for a work event by 4 and they basically said that wasn’t their problem. Once I finally checked in, a couple of hours later I got to my room and it didn’t smell very clean, especially the bathroom. As I was coming out of the shower someone barges into my room without even knocking. Of course I was startled. She kept knocking so I had to yell that I needed to get dressed. Once I was dressed she said she came in to check the minibar. She barely apologized then left. The last incident that solidified this as a bad stay was when I went to the “business center” to print out some documents for work. It took me 30 mins to be able to logon to Wi-Fi with my laptop. After calling the front desk several times to say we were having trouble someone comes up to “try” and help but really didn’t offer any solutions. I was finally able to use my own phone as a hotspot to get Wi-Fi. All this time we were on a timer, 15 mins for $6.95. As time was running out I clicked on the timer to extend the time but nothing was happening so I clicked a few more times until I see that the timer now says an hour. I finally print what I need an head over to the front desk to tell them about the timer and to see if they could take off some of that charge due to not being able to get Wi-Fi for 30 mins. The guy eventually takes off some of the charge, which ended up being $169, but he was very rude about it. Overall I was very disappointed with the service and level of professionalism at this hotel. I’m a big fan of W hotels but this was by far the worst W I’ve ever stayed at.

Cons: Unknowlegdeable staff. Arrived at 10 on a Sunday night. A kitchen was closed and their driver dropped us off at 2 restaurants that were closed.

Cons: Seemed like there was a charge for everything..WiFi in room wasn't free..there was a mini fridge but it was packed with liquor so couldn't really put anything in it unless you tool all their stuff out. The upchages on roomservice was crazy. No exhaust vent in the bathroom..so whatever happens in the there ..you and whoever is staying in your room will get wind of it..no door to the bathroom except a sliding door that didn't really give privacy

Cons: Rooms somewhat dated and worn.

Cons: I ate at the bar twice and I thought the food was not great. I had a ceaser salad with shrimp and the sliders. The food was rather bland and I thought a hotel like the W would have better bar food.

Cons: A couple of the pieces of furniture were worn & ripped. The air in our room was pretty dry & the shower needed a deeper scrub. Paid over $4 for a small bottle of Coke.

Cons: I was put in a handicap room and I'm not handicapped

Cons: The In Room wifi was pitiful. Insuficcient capacity when it was able to be connected to. The room lighting was very poor. Very dark in the room with all lights on.

Cons: Wasn't clear on the parking but $32 to pay for valet was a bit pricy and I was forced to do so because there was no where else shown to park...

Cons: The wifi isn't free, The food is way overpriced with 22% service fee, an additional $4 charge for room service, 8% sales tax and 18% gratuity. i ordered a $10 entree which ended up being around $22. The staff isn't that friendly and just seems to be standing around chatting with each other, way too unprofessional. The room was a little dirty and it looks like it never really gets a good deep cleaning or even just a basic surface sanitizing would have been nice. There was food smudges on one of the lamps. Overall, I'm glad I got a discount of Kayak but that price still wasn't worth it.

Cons: The rooms where outdated and dirty had to change rooms because the one I was in had dirty sheets the door panel was falling off and only half the shower spigots worked. The furniture was dingy. The new room was not much better.

Cons: The room was pretty bad. Broken down furniture, chipped paint, and worn out leather were just a few things. Everything was very beat up and needed updated. For the price, I would definitely stay at another midtown hotel next time. This place feels like an upscale Motel 6.

Cons: the rooms are old and showing age. Many of the fixtures and accents in the room were broken including one light with exposed wires and the door security chain. Only one towel was provided for a room with two guests and this wasn't discovered till the second person exited the shower and too late to call for more.

Cons: The service was not very good. We requested a refrigerator and had two broken ones brought up. The food at the restaurant wasn't very good. The service overall was very subpar.

Cons: Walls are so thin that you hear people talking in hall and rooms next to you. It was unbelievable how bad it was. By far my worst hotel experience in my life.

Cons: The was no parking, cars were lined in 2 rows for valet and no one came to help. We waited in the car for someone to come & never happened. Parked a little over a block away and walked through some pretty disgusting stuff to get back to the hotel.

Cons: Bell staff & valet are famous for watching you arrive and handle your own luggage. This most recent visit I was confronted by bellman saying I could not personally get a cart for my luggage. This was after standing at my car for about 5+ minutes while valet and bell staff were busy doing nothing. Amazing-it hasn't been a problem on past visits for me to get a cart and handle my own luggage while they all stand around and watch. The best they will do is push the handicap button that automatically opens the doors and sometimes a half hearted "can I help you". If management could get bell staff on board then everything would be first class.

Cons: Parking fees are greatly overpriced. Price of parking should have been included in price of room. A/C did not operate properly during visit. Staff offered room change or box fan. While this was a nice gesture, QC (Quality Control) was not performed to insure all functions and features of the room were properly operating prior to the arrival of guests. In the future, this function and quality check should be performed before the checkin of guests.

Cons: Valet parking not included

Cons: I can't stand places that charge $200/night and don't give you free wi-fi in the room. Also, the $32/day valet (while we knew about it in advance) still stung... there was pretty much no other option around though.

Cons: Very expensive. I think Atlanta was busy that weekend, but $200 a night seemed steep for what it was.

Cons: Bell staff leaves a lot to be desire. Most don't even offer any help whatsoever. Hardly ever ask if they can help with luggage and fortunate that the main lobby doors have a auto button or you would always be on your own to open the door. They do a great job of standing around!

Cons: The "historic" feel of the lobby and building is charming, but the actual rooms are simply old, tired, and somewhat dirty.

Cons: Although I was excited to be staying at a historical hotel, I wasn't expecting my room to be so historic. The bed linens were pilled, the bathrooms were dated and tiles cracked, the remote was sticky (as in the buttons wouldn't work and there was candy stuck on it), there was an odor to the room (fixed temporarily by febreeze I purchased), stains on the carpet and chair, the tissues were re-stuffed into the box., the toilet paper was not fresh, you can hear everyone else flushing and showering, lamps that had blown... The room aside, I thought I would at least be won over with southern charm, but I got better service at the Chick-fil-A. All of my calls to the front desk went to voicemail where my messages were never responded to, even in person questions asked at the front desk weren't responded to, and when asked for recommendations was either sent to a salon where I wouldn't even send my dearest enemy or was given none at all. Thank goodness for Yelp. The outside is still beautiful and charming, although the cleanliness level of the hotel steered me away from trying their restaurant, I would say lunch on their patio would be the best way to experience the hotel where the Gone With the Wind premiere was held - and stay elsewhere.

Cons: There were stains on the carpet not only in the hallway leading to the room, but all over the carpet in the room itself. And don't even think of trying to sleep in or just relax after 9. They are in the midst of renovations, and the constant jack hammering, or whatever tool they were using will reverberate into your room. You can cover the noise by turning the tv up loud, but that defeats the purpose of trying to relax.

Cons: Room was worn. For $200 a night, I expect furniture that is unscratched and a bathroom free of rusty hinges and moldy silicone.

Cons: our friends got super huge spacious rooms with suites and KITCHENS!!! We asked for an upgrade and had a small room way way down the hall and around the corner, what is up with that?? No one answers the phones - called room service, front desk, conceirge, and the operator---VERY ANNOYING THAT NO ONE WOULD ANSWER REPEATED PHONE CALLS will not stay here again..,.,

Cons: Didn't use the kitchen area but the drawers were coming apart. Ultra cheap cabinets showing poor management decision.

Cons: The quality of hotel. Outdated, shower didn't work, lost reservation.

Cons: There is a full kitchen but no dishes, glasses, pots or pans. The shower curtain wasn't functional so water got all over the floor. Wish there has been extra blankets. I wanted to watch a movie on the couch but could not get comfortable. TV channels were limited.

Cons: When it was time to get my car the valet did not provide clear communication. There was a crowd because the hotel was having an event and it was raining. He took my card and never said anything else or what to expect.

Cons: Lack of hot water upon a late-night check-in.

Cons: House keeping woke me up and tried to open my door even with a "do not disturb" sigh

Cons: Wi-fi was very erratic, especially on my tablet. I met other guests who said the same. The key card lock on the door from the courtyard to my section of the hotel didn't work, which meant a longer walk around to my room.

Cons: The exercise room is small, but it is a boutique hotel. Plumbing in tub had a minor faucet leak.

Cons: The facilities were a little dated as were the fixtures in the room (sink, shower, etc.). My sink would not drain. It was moderately annoying. I should have called to have it looked at, but didn't have time. My feeling is the cleaning staff should notice things like that and alert the maintenance crew. It should not be left to the guests.

Cons: Bathroom paint needed update. Felt a little dated and grimy. It is a very old hotel that has been updated but the bathroom looked like it has just had years of paint. Needs a total redo. Probably why the price is so affordable. Only negative to our stay.
