Location great Lobby and staff Cleanliness
Bigger rooms A pool Tea and coffee facilities
Breakfast was really good Like the washing and drying facilities
Concrete floors in the lobby aren't very fitting for this hotel. Seems like your in a car garage.
The facilities are complete with bakery, restaurant, laundry, eco-cleaning. Speedy check-in/check out/payment with automatic machine. Staff are nice and helpful but one young trainee can't speak good English and his colleague just smiled at his side and didn't help him.
I bought bread from the in-house bakery but it is generally quite expensive and the bread texture is like gummi. The dryer is full of dust and dirt. The filter of the air-conditioner is not clean. I feel itching whole night. It is not near to Shinjuku station. Inside E subway line needs long walk.... Suggest to have shuttle bus to Shinjuku station, it's just 10 mins drive. The customers would like to pay for it if it is more convenient and quicker way to a big station..
Excellent location for our purposes. Oedo line access and Shinjuku Station close by for easy access to anywhere you want to go. The park directly opposite of the hotel was really nice added bonus. We spent quite a bit of time in there just chilling. Room was nice & had all we needed (fridge, water boiler, A/C, a safe). There's also a nice laundry room with 3 washing machines and 3 driers (coin machines, including a machine to buy 1 use detergent). Laundry room also has 2 vending machines if you get thirsty and don't feel like walking to the Family Mart that's also very near by and came in handy often. You can choose a pin code access for your room instead of normal keycard, we found the pin system very easy & intuitive. We opted for ECO cleaning almost every day which means instead of cleaning out the whole room, they will empty the trash, give you new towels and water bottles & as a nice bonus it gives you discount vouchers (500yen each) that you can use in the bakery or restaurant within. the hotel. Nice, very quiet backstreets directly behind the hotel. Walking around them in the evening was very relaxing. It didn't happen often at all, but when people are talking in the hallways, it's definitely well heard in the rooms. Didn't bother me personally and there wasn't a lot of it happening but very light sleepers might be awoken by it. We had a room at the 12th floor and there was barely any sounds from the streets coming in. Don't really have any other complaints than the sound issue above. Was a nice, peaceful stay and everything worked smoothly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The sound insulation in the doors is non existent, which means sounds from the hallways might bother you if you are trying to sleep etc and people are going in/out & talking.
