They wouldn't allow adults to use the whole pool area after the kids had to leave. Paid out the ads for a room and am then expected to but food from them.
The staff in the pool area was wonderfull.
Friendly front desk staff Very run down. Lack of attention to cleaning when it came to the details. Surface dusting okay, lamps dirty. Ironing board cover was filthy. Hair dryer would run for about a minute and quit. Actually saw a spark or arc when trying to get it to work.
Spacious presidential suite. Nice pool. Reasonably-priced restaurant on site. The cleanliness in the presidential suite was below standard. Broken decor, old wristband laying in plain site, mold in shower. Checkout time was 12:00, but housekeeping came beating on the door repeatedly around 10:15 until we opened it. Not worth the $$
Staff Rooms were worn and old. Bathrooms were old
We were coming down to Sioux Falls for a concert and wanted to stay at a place closed the concert. The location was within minutes of the where we were needing to go. Nice place, clean rooms and friendly staff.
We went there because there was a water park. It was so overcrowded. Too many birthday parties that also used the pool. We were told only people staying at the hotel could use the pool. Rooms - hallways were dirty & unkept Bathroom tiles missing
Staff guy was very friendly on check in. Great pool area. Really cool. You can tell it is an older hotel with some updates, but not everything is updated. Decent experience, probably not quite 3 star.
The location was good for us and I like having s pool for the kids. The carpet was duct taped together and the hotel was very dated. They need a serious remodel.
The back door entrance and on F had problems with outside door opening from the inside out.
Quick checking. Friendly staff. The room was not up to the 3 star level. It was more like a 2.5 star.
The water park was fun for the kids. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable than any hotel we've ever stayed at. It was also quiet. We didn't hear any doors slamming from other rooms or people talking in the hallways. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who plan on staying in Sioux Falls!
the location was decent we arrived around midnight, we reserved a room online with 2 queen beds. Our room was over $200. When we arrived and went to check in the woman at the front desk informed us that they did not have any rooms with 2 queen beds. Her words "we haven't had any rooms like that since i started at 10:00". She had a really negative attitude We said ok, what do we do now, she wasn't really helpful. she gave us a room with 1 king and a pull out bed which was not comfortable at all. i don't understand how we can reserve and book something and then arrive and it is not available. Not a good experience at all. our whole stay we had been staying at mostly Hampton Inns and were extremely pleased with everyone one of them. this not we didnt have that option so we figured Sheraton is a big name, we figured it would be amazing also. we were wrong. definitely going to stick with Hampton Inn from now on.
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, loved the pillows. We hate breakfast in the restaurant, food was very good and the waitress was very polite and kept checking on us to make sure all was ok with us. Loved the fact it is connected to the Denny Sanford Center so we could walk back to our hotel after our concert. I would recommend the Sheraton to my family and friends.
The professionslism of the stsff. The worness of the bed, chair and carpet.
Clean, good breakfast
the rooms wall is so thin and the people next to me had a party. i could not sleep ..
Clean, comfortable room. No hot food for breakfast.

Nothing Noisy. Dirty. Small. Bad location. Hot tub not working. Pool cold. Dark. Dingy. Very very disappointed
The room was very clean, comfortable and in a great location.
Location was ok. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom dirty. This hotel must have been nice at one time but has been neglected. We won't stay here again.
The location is only 5 minutes from the airport and only 10 minutes from Falls Park which is a must see. The baseball stadium is just 3 blocks away as is the Stanford convention center . They do offer typical breakfast each morning. I had a late check in after traveling all day at check in I was given a room on the 2nd. Floor and to my surprise there is no elevator at this property so I had to tote luggage upstairs so beware when making your reservations. The room had a musty smell.
Room was noisy! Fan/AC in room very loud, added to the second nights wedding party directly above my room.. They should warn guest in the "concierge " floor that they will be directly below festivities, and try to but the people who are there for the party in the room below! Front desk staff seemed to care less, both when I called down that night and when I checked out the next day. I have stayed there many times over many years, but it will not be my first choice for my next trip to SF!
The lobby, rooms, and area were very pretty. The restaurant there was great. I usually stay in a different place when I need to stay downtown Sioux Falls, but this will be my new favorite. I could walk everywhere from the hotel and the room was better than I expected. Clean, comfortable, exactly what I want in a hotel.
Location is good and a beautiful setting. Staff and management was rude and unprofessional.
The price was great! And the bed was comfortable. It wasn't the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were clean but the hallway and lobby could have used a vacuum and a mopping.
The room was comfortable, A place to sleep basically. The breakfast was good as well The fact that the staff was rude and inconsiderate. Maids banged on the door. When replying that nothing was needed in the room. You could hear the staff talking loudly in front of the door and yelling. Talking rude about me because I was trying to sleep and didnt let her in. The next day again the same thing. Only this time the maid walked in and didnt knock and we were sleeping. Was not even close to check out time. How rude. When trying to talk to someone about it, I felt like it was not important to them and I felt like I was being pushed off. How can you allow rude staff to work for you and run a business. I can guarantee, I will never stay there again!!! Unprofessional!!
Loved how comfortable The bed & pillows are. Would definantly stay there again The staff were very unprofessional
I appreciated that when I got in at 11:15 p.m. the desk staff already had the paperwork for my stay set up so that it only took me about 5 minutes to check in and get my keys.
Large clean room! Clean and updated common areas. Comfortable bed, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Linens and towels were fresh and well laundered. This is what a budget hotel should be. Oddball location, can't see signage coming from the interstate.
Clean, quiet, good value, comfortable beds
The pet friendliness of the staff & guest. Very satisfing stay.
The hotel was easy to find, had other conveniences nearby, and was fairly quiet even though it was close to two major thoroughfares. The breakfast offerings could have been better. The breakfast staff, who I'm sure were fully aware of the full capacity of the hotel for the weekend, seemed unable to keep up with guest demand for food volume. The breakfast room was also way too small for a hotel this size. The air conditioning unit was also loud. In this day and age of modern, quiet A/C units, we can't figure out why these loud units are so prevalent.
Good range of facilities - indoor pool, business center, laundry, mini-mart A LOT of deferred maintenance. Light switch didn't work, doors didn't close well, damaged wallpaper
I found the staff very attentive and concerned that my stay was satisfactory. I enjoyed the refrig, microwave and recliner in my room. My room was on 2nd Floor. An elevator would have made it easier to get mky things to the room because a had a couple of heavy things to carry.
Pool was too cold to swim. Hot tub too hot to sit in. Bathroom dirty. Coffee at breakfast cold. Staff didn't care. Wont stay there again.
The shampoo and shower Everything else.
Very Impressed. Will be using them much more often.
This really was a nice little property, not exactly what I thought it would be, but still a nice property. My only complaint isvery minor - the pool was a little cool, not teeth-chattering cold, but still about 5 degrees warmer would have been nice. The kids didn't notice or care, but all of us parents were whining.
Very Nice Hotel, Love it
Had a short 3 day stay in the area...booked a standard room...plenty of space to move around...take advantage of the advanced purchase prices...great discounts...will only be staying here in the future if I come back to the area...even with the interstate so close, noise was not noticeable ...loved the fridge with ice maker and the dishwasher too...almost better than home :)
This hotel was exactly what we needed - a place to relax and call our 'home base.' The suite layout was great, the cleanliness terrific, and staff very knowledgeable and supportive. Only two negative items presented themselves. One, the morning breakfast was quite poor, especially if you like food. The hot items were pasty and/or cheap in taste and texture, and the cold items seemed to be provided from a low-end budget. If you have to stay at a hotel where you actually need the breakfast to count for something, this is not the place. On the other hand, there are some great restaurants close by. Two, this hotel was built near the interstate, so received lots of traffic noise during peak hours. The less expensive Holiday Inn offerings were better situated for noise. Go figure. Otherwise, and these two items had little negative effect on our stay, this is a great hotel. We would gladly return.
great hotel, recomemd it to anybody, wont stay any where else
The room I was in was as good as the Mandalay or Venitian in Las Vegas. If it were any more comfortable I may have moved in for good. The complimentary breakfast had everything for everyone, to include a perfect cup of coffee. The front desk helped me find a few of th ebest inexpensive golf courses I have played in my life.
The front desk staff was always friendly and went out of their way to answer any questions and I do ask a lot of questions. The breakfasts were well supplied and my daughter, who is on a gluten-free diet, was able to have choices. The seating area was was large enough to eat comfortably. I couldn't believe the Thursday night supper, when we arrived. I had been dreading trying to find a good restaurant nearby, after traveling all day. I put Staybridge at the top of my list from now on; I hope that they are all that good.
Amazing hotel! From the bedding to the rooms and the staff it felt like a 5 star experience all the way! Thanks for an awesome stay!
Top of the line, plush, over the top, great breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
I booked a room for my parents who were visiting town for a wedding, as a surprise get away.i worked with Lindsey to make sure they had an early check in and a surprise waiting for them in their suite. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. My parents said that the room was gorgeous and it was so peaceful. I can't express enough the quality of not only the facility but the professional, courteous staff!
The facility was very neat and modern. One of the nicest eating areas for breakfast that I have been to. Rooms were clean and very amenable. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Convenient location to the mall. Room was on the end and maybe that was what made it worse, but the car traffic noise was pretty significant. A lot of car noise from I29 and 41st St. Had to have TV on all night to drown out the traffic noise. Finding the entrance to the parking area is not well marked. Needs better and larger sinage to indicate the parking/entrance. Pool is small and no hottub that I could find.
I like the fact that they had nice clean rooms with a shuttle to the airport. The pull out couch was pretty low quality for that type of bed. Many families need the extra space and it would be better to invest in higher quality pull out couches. Pool was cold and very small.
Very comfortable bed. Unique floor plan of room made me feel less like I was in every other hotel I frequently stay in. A little difficult to find a way into at first. Ended up at the Courtyard first, then Old Chicago. Felt like I was doing laps around it.
There was a bug in my bed and the carpets in the room were wet. Front desk didn't care at all.
Great price, clean building, good breakfast. Perfect stay for the middle class working folks that need a cheap place and deserve a NICE place. :)
The motel was very worn out. All of the bedding was long past it's useful lifespan as was the carpeting. It was dirty and disgusting and after checking in, decided it was better to just drive through the night home.
The rooms are very nicely decorated, I was impressed when we walked into our room. The beds were very comfortable and we liked the nice flat sceen TV, frig and microwave in our room.
The bed was extremely comfortable!!! Our whole room was excellent! For some reason, there was an odor when we first walked in. Not in the breakfast room, not by the front desk, but in the room directly across from the front desk. It was a fishy smell. Later, when we were leaving to go eat, we smelled it again. It took our breath away. yuck!
Amazing front desk staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed
The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was awful - no bacon, sausage & hot sauce or salsa, nothing like Pueblo, , CO Hampton Inn.
The room was nice. The staff didn't seem like they knew how to do their jobs. The shuttle service made us wait for an hour and a half. When we told them how many times we had called, the staff seemed uninterested and didn't say much. Needless to say we won't be going back to a hilton any time soon.
Front desk staff attentive, room in good condition with all appliances working (microwave, refrigerator), early morning breakfast (6 a.m.), quiet. The facility is well taken care of. Location near interstate, Sertoma Park and bike path, and Empire Mall is good. Only bad feature is that the building is surrounded by an ocean of pavement and other commercial properties.
Location was very good. Convenient access to that side of Sioux Falls. Hotel looks and feels tired. Obviously gets a lot of traffic. We arrived at night and the outdoor sign was only partially illuminated, making it difficult to see the building since it is partially hidden from the highway. The guest room was fine, but the bathroom has rusty hinges and also showed signs of mildew in the shower area (ceiling).
The staff was friendly. The beds squeaked every time you moved or sat down on them. The bathroom was filthy and disgusting. The room smelled and air conditioning / heaters didn't work very well. The breakfast was a joke. I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience.
Continental Breakfast was great, Friendly Staff, nice location near shopping and close proximity to interstate
every one were help full ; very nice room nothing
The beds where very comfy and soft and our room had a mini ref rig and microwave A great touch would be to have ONE bag of popping popcorn ready and waiting for us. One evening I wanted some really bad but was to lazy to go down and get some
Close to Interstate 90 The mattress needed to be turned or replaced. It was very uncomfortable. The morning breakfast was skimpy. You could tell that the food was the same from the day before...just warmed up. The hallways were cluttered with cleaning carts. It was way overpriced. I was glad to get out of there. Days Inn will be avoided the next time I make a reservation.
