Pros: The Hotel was beautiful and the details were well thought out and I was impressed with Boscolo Exedra.
Cons: Be very careful if you book this hotel through a third party booking service. They did not honor my booking and the entire check in was long and delayed. The Hotel Boscolo charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals even after I showed and emailed them the copy of the booking. Very frustrating and I am still dealing with it weeks later.

Pros: When we first arrived, Tony helped us check in. We were in very early and he was so accomodating. He took our luggage and told us to come back after an hour and we would have a room ready. We were so please with his friendliness and his hospitality. Every time we called downstairs, the front desk was always so kind and quick with their service. The room was beyond what we were expecting, as we got lucky and had an incredible private terrance to hangout and enjoy the September weather. The cleaning staff did a perfect job each time, which is so important when you are traveling. We felt very comfortable, clean and extremely satisfied with the service we received. In addition to that, it was a great location as we were able to walk everywhere or use the public transportation easily. We were lucky enough to see Tony as we were checking out and we could not thank him enough for being the an excellent host!

Pros: location was good for us as we know the area
Cons: the hotel took payment in full in October when I booked the room. the day before our stay in November they "held" another payment for the same amount of money in my bank account. basically the payment says pending on my bank account but i'd already paid a few months ago. I'm unhappy that the hotel accessed my bank account to do this and effectively still are holding onto payment that isn't their money. I pointed it out to the hotel on the 22/11/19 and its still not sorted out on the 25/11/19. not ok to do this. I had access to other funds but I'm sure some people could be in the same situation and need access to their money.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. It was very convenient to have a hotel so close to the train and metro station. Probably the best part for me was seeing the ancient Roman walls and tower that they have in the garden of the hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was great, many choices as well as local products. You can also order an omelette but it would take a long time to deliver so we opted not to. The room and bathroom were spacious and we had a tiny balcony on the 2nd floor. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle and a free bottle of water. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Roma Termini train station which makes excellent for those who travel by train. From there you can also go directly to Fiumicino Airport by the Leonardo Express in 32 minutes. The Metro is also a few meters away where you can reach all the areas of attractions like the colosseum, the Vatican, etc. We would stay there again in our upcoming trips to Rome.

Pros: It was clean and the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable
Cons: Paid extra to upgrade but the room was sparse. Poor storage and really uncomfortable, unless you wanted to sit on the bed when you were in the room. There was poor storage in the bathroom, meaning our toiletries had to be kept on the floor. The air con/heating sounded like a tractor all night. The wardrobe was falling apart, the curtains didn’t close properly and being close to the main Termini this meant light in the room all night. The ceiling in the bathroom was damp and the wallpaper peeling in the bedroom.

Cons: When we checked out we were met with a receptionist that was very rude to us and did not even look us in the eyes. As a Front Desk manager myself i got very frustraded with the rudeness and then she also told me i did not pay for my stay even thoe they made a reservation on my card when i checked in but according to her she could not see that, she wanted me to pay for the room again. I got so frustraded with her rudeness so i switched receptionist and the other receptionist could see the reservation on my card and she was very nice and helpful, if i remember correct i think her name was Beatriz(??), thank you! Beatriz was very nice and helpful.

Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. It was very convenient to have a hotel so close to the train and metro station. Probably the best part for me was seeing the ancient Roman walls and tower that they have in the garden of the hotel.
Cons: We had high expectations because this was the third hotel we were staying at on our trip and it was significantly more expensive than the others (which we loved). Yet this was the smallest room out of all of them. The trash can and tea kettle were broken in the room. This was also the only hotel that didn’t provide a complimentary breakfast, they wanted an additional $150+ to include breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, many choices as well as local products. You can also order an omelette but it would take a long time to deliver so we opted not to. Cons: It can always be cheaper, otherwise it’s perfect.

Very close to Termini station to be able to get around but also within walking distance of several key attractions. Lovely and quiet (on our floor anyway).
Cons: We asked for extra Breakfast tea as we only had 1 bag between 2 of us but only received 1 extra Breakfast tea but 4/5 fruit teas which we didn’t want. Only 1 bathrobe on arrival so had to ask for another. Cleaner knocked on the door about 2000 hrs on the 3rd night to give me 2 packets of jelly sweets (2 in a packet). They had left some on the bed on day 2 of our stay but there weren’t any on arrival (they need to decide whether they are giving them or not!). On our first morning at breakfast there wasn’t anyone to check us in (in fact not on any morning) but we were challenged quite aggressively as to what our room number was & made us feel we shouldn’t have been there even though we were paying for it. Having said that there was a massive amount to choose from, however cooked food was lukewarm at best. When we arrived back on our 2 day there were bath mats next to the bed on the floor but the next day they were gone! No idea what that was all about. Small little niggles but not enough to spoil our stay.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The only advantage is it’s next to the main train terminal
Cons: Definitely it’s not a five star hotel, the housekeeping, hotel facilities. The hotel doesn’t even proved you with a iron and iron board, in each floor has a common room for this.

Pros: It's a charming old hotel, one of the oldest in Rome, facing the Pantheon. The personnel is truly welcoming, the breakfast good, and you would wish to spend a lifetime at the roof terrace, even in December.
Cons: It could use a renovation, even if the view and location are what you've after. I think I should mention that there was no water in our room - nor complimentary, nor at the minibar, and after asking for it we were charged 8 euro per bottle plus the room service charge. Not a dealbreaker, just a detail, but it sort of spoiled the impression.

It was a great home base from which to explore the eternal city. We were also surprised when they upgraded our room at check in. Room size was outstanding for an older hotel.
Cons: We've stayed in many dozens of old hotels throughout Europe, so we are not surprised when some parts of the experience are a little ragged. It had been unusually warm. I figured the building's environmental systems had been switched over to heat for the winter, so our room was uncomfortably warm. After a shower, the tub took a long time to drain fully. The minibar was restocked before our second night. Even though we took nothing from it, we were charged for items used by previous guests. Lastly, we did not get turn-down service on our last night. But these kinds of missed details are typical for Europe, and did not bother us.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was excellent, although a very busy area
Cons: This didn't feel like a 5 star hotel, very disappointing and very basic. Could really do with a makeover.

Pros: Lovely bathroom. They made a special effort for my financé's birthday and provided chocolates and prosecco. Great location and lovely hotel.
Cons: Could have done with a few more and better quality pillows.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was amazing and the hotel was located near many restaurants . Location was close to a metro station or a short taxi ride to most of the must do tourist sites. The rooms were well appointed and very clean, the bathroom was modern and large.

Pros:
Cons: Advertising that this hotel has a fitness center, is at best, misleading. I would have been better off at probably any Marriott in the world. Those of uswho exercise regularly expect a fully equipped fitness center, notone thatdoesn't open until 10am --

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff very helpful.
Cons: The room was so so. Small. No view. Windows did not open, so it was stuffy. There was no iron.

Pros: The spa was excellent. I got a great massage, in line with international standards.
Cons: When I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that breakfast was not included in the room rate. There was nothing about this in my confirmation email, and it was the first time ever that I have stayed in a hotel in Italy where breakfast was not included.

Cons: Bed was to hard for me. Hurt my back but I requested a mattress pad the day before checkout. I left my room all day and when I got back to the room the mattress pad was on the bed providing me a comfortable night sleep. Should have asked for it two days earlier.

Pros: The concierge staff is very helpful.
Cons: We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Pros: Good location, nice staff, very clean and nice room
Cons: Breakfast choice not very wide, no slippers, no gowns, we were 3 people in the room, only 2 cups were provided in the room, no bin in the room, no tissues. Roof terrace advertised just some chairs on the room top. No bar or food served there. No greetings from staff apart from cleaners.

Pros: Breakfast.
Cons: We all felt like we weren't helped much by the lady at the front desk.

Pros: Good location and very good breakfast included. Adjustable bed was comfortable.
Cons: Room was tiny, and the air conditioning struggled to cool room adequately - plus it doesn't help that they do not allow you to control the AC yourself, the front desk controls your room AC! Also huge bathroom, but extremely tiny shower was odd.

Pros: Good breakfast (except juices). Great location, good value for money overall. Affordable prices in minibar (€2.5 for coke, €5 for small bottle of prosecco).
Cons: The shower's door was broken, water was splitting on the floor while taking a shower. Power sockets integrated in the bed were broken. The window vertical opening mode was broken. On Sunday morning for about 1 hour the cold water was out of order in whole hotel. No coat hooks in the hallway. All juices on the breakfast were heavily diluted.

Pros: . Comfortable bed. The special beds of the hotel are really comfortable and help to have a good night of sleep. . Helpful staff. They kept our luggage when we arrived and were friendly during the early check-out.
Cons: The hotel is old and located close to the train station, which is useful if you arrive/leave by train, but you are far from the centre. . Small rooms. Our room had views of the stairs of the hotel, and the area of the room and bathroom was really small. The bathroom had an old claustrophobic shower cabin. . Marks of humidity in the walls of the room/bathroom, damage walls, and old furniture unusual in 4* hotels with such a high price per night.

Pros: Location is fantastic
Cons: I had a health incident and none of staff asked me about how I was, even when someone of them knew about what was happening.

Pros: great location
Cons: first night we were in a room with no "warm" air condition due to some law - i would expect to know that before ordering the room. We were transfered the next night to a floor which had the option of a warm air condition but we quite suffered in the first night - there was no option to move in the first night.

Pros: Breakfast was always fresh and anything that ran low was replenished quickly. Doormen were always extremely friendly. All requests made from the room were resolved extremely quickly.
Cons: All three sides of the hotel are situated along busy streets so there was a large amount of street noise each evening and early morning. Temperature in room ran on the warmer side - Upon return to room each evening it felt stuffy and stagnant.

Pros: I enjoyed the breakfast. Although the selection of food did not change during my stay, I was happy with what was offered. The wide selection of bread was also great.

Pros: Room is very clean to NH standard. Breakfast is good. The bar staff are great!
Cons: When I'm having breakfast and a worker comes up and ask me to go and sit somewhere else... Is that proper or is that for the colour of my skin?... very raw! How can only 2 people be serving a hotel this big that ends up with a long queue and longer waiting time to check-in or get concierge assistance? Something is wrong! One can't pay in excess of €200 a night for a lousy service like this. Reception is very poor FULL STOP!

Pros:
Cons: I was very disappointed with one worker at the reception - the woman who worked 19.10.2020. it's the worst experience that I ever had in my life. When the worker, who has to be respectful to the clients, is rude, unprofessiona and arrogant. Before that, when I in Italy, I alwase stayed in NH chain and loved it. But after this time I'm not sure if I ever come back here.

Pros: Great location! We could walk to all places we wanted to see in Rome! The hotel was nice, clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: The one thing we did not like was that our double bed was two singles pushed together, which is not uncommon for Europe, but not preferable to us.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The price
Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Pros: Location is good
Cons: all room facilities was old. Awful service, unhelpful and somethimes rude. The room was very smal and uncorfotable. There is no air conditioner. Our windows look on yard. And every morning we woke because of someone`s talking loudly in the yard. We cant even see the sky, because of tightness of the yard. Absolutely awful breakfast. noone from the staff pay attention to you. The salad was spoiled, pineapples turn sour. I will never stop in this hotel. it may have 2 star, not 4!

4.4 Okay
Pros: location was a plus factor, surrounded by many cafes/restaurants, metro and bus station close by, although all major sites within walking distance
Cons: the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Stated television with internarional channels, only one english one - BBC World News ! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - unacceptable for the price we paid.

Cons:
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean hotel, great staff, good breakfast selection, decent sized room, decent beds. Close to the train station.
Cons: Little if any privacy in the attached bathroom due to strangely placed window looking into the bathroom from the bedroom and the see-through curtain. Completely block that window. Crikey!
7.5 Good
Pros:
Cons: Breakfast was terrible - green fruits, just for decoration not for eating. Coffee was terrible (in Italy!).
5.4 Okay
Pros: Central location
Cons: The overall experience was not satisfying at all. Our room had no daylight, no possibility to let fresh air in (as directly over all air con air waste air blasting out in front of the only window), super loud. Shower constantly changed between extremes cold/hot.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff and the cleanliness.
Cons: The carpet seemed tacky as did the combinations of decor choice. There was an effort made in decor but somehow missed the mark. It seemed a bit tacky. Seemed more like a 3 star with great staff.
7.7 Good
Pros: The staff was great, the location put us in walking distance of transportation
Cons: The elevator situation left a lot to be desired, held 4 on one and six on the other. To get to our room required two elevators for room 235 on the first floor. From outside our room the stairs could not be used, alarmed. The restraunt was on the 7 th floor did not open until 7 am, we had to leave at 7:30. There were 4 tour groups in at the same time next to impossible to get to the restaurant by elevator , required walking up 7 floors.the large number of people had to wait in the landing, very small . Only one key, inconvenient
Would not return if we had another choice. Even with a provided breakfast we needed to go outside to meet our schedule, largely due to time slots at the Vatican.

5.0 Okay
Pros: - bidet - shoehorn - possibility to open the window for fresh air
Cons: - room numbers nearby floor. I couldn't find it - noise from neighbor's rooms. I couldn't sleep in the evening. I heard speak, toilet flushes, everything. - dirty windows from outside - wall in shower, I couldn't wash my head without jumping into the bath - late cleaning tables in the breakfast room. I couldn't find a clean table at 7 AM - when I opened the window sometimes I smelled cigarette smoke from outside. My room was above the main entrance

Cons: However the surrounding area is bit low class so you expect to see undisrable faces looking at you so you have to be cautious
The hotel is overrated for five star, this should be 4 star

Cons: More English tv channels required not very well represented
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: I think a person goes to a hotel to have a good hospitality but I feel these things are missing in a very good branded hotel. Also needs to mention although if one have paid the booking amount in advance then you must not ask the tourist to pay 100 euros as deposit. Not sure what sort of system is this? Also just to add the amount for deposit is deducted instantly and still I haven't received the amount back after having deductions for the city taxes. Just wandering how is it even working that way....,.

Pros: Modern design of all the hotel and of the rooms, excellent breakfast and restaurant located on the 7th floor with a great view. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons:
8.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the best pools in Rome. Room was quiet and very, very clean.
Cons: Breakfast was chaos. No plates, no clean glasses, and a coffee machine in ROME?! I was only offered a real cappucino the morning I checked out. Room service and bar service overpriced.

Pros: They cleaned the room and bathroom every Day. It is a very independent room. Like having your own flat in Rome. Staff was helpful and showers hot. Sheets and towels always clean. It is a little difficult to find but when you spend sometime in Rome you appreciate the lacation. 10 minutes walking from Termini. 15 to Fontana de tRevi. Better to have the red bus for a day or two to do the touristic attractions. Be careful with taxi drives. They are a pain in the A — s trying to steal money all the time.

Pros: Our room was spacious with a fridge and comfortable beds. Franco let us have a kettle to make tea in the morning (we're English). Stephano was communicative. Alessandro and umberto were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good value at two euros for a lovely coffee and croissant at the local bar. The location was very good for seeing the sights of Rome.

Pros: Location is good, friendly nice stuff. Clean room. Generally, good value for this price I guess.
Cons: There should be a minibar and tea/coffee maker according to booking.com listed facilities but there was no such. WiFi was terrible. Too much noise from the streets at night (we couldn’t close the window not to suffocate as it was too hot) Breakfast is not cancellable :(

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Location was near the place we needed to be. Room service was nice.
Cons: For management: We were very disappointed by our stay. Six weeks ago, we were offered someone to come get us at the airport and they did not come. They told us to take a taxi. We were scammed by a unlicensed “fake” taxi driver because they did not show up or properly communicate with us on time. We were not offered any compensation for this issue. The hostel person who checked us in basically shrugged it off. The room: The room you will stay in resembles the pictures on the website, but aged 10 years. There were bugs in the bathroom. Staff was hardly present. The pictures on the website did not match the true description of what was offered on the website. I would not recommend this hostel, even for the price. Spend a few extra euros for a nicer place, or find an airbnb. The pictures we most likely taken years ago. The place is dingy and dark, not bright like the photos. There is no breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family member or friend. The city: Please be aware of scammers left and right. Read up on pick pockets, scam artists, beggars, and taxi drivers. Do not accept any “free help”, as they will ask you for compensation. Anyone will say anything to get some money from you, including a nice storyline of whatever you want to hear. Please read up on a Rick Steeves book, or Reddit forum before you travel. Other than the historical sites, the city is in disrepair, unorganized, loud, and dirty. The only good thing we experienced from this city was the food.
7.4 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff. Walking distance to sights and Metro
Cons: No air conditioning. Loud traffic sounds.

Alessandro and umberto were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good value at two euros for a lovely coffee and croissant at the local bar. The location was very good for seeing the sights of Rome.
Cons: The only negative thing that I can say is that I was not aware that the reception is only manned up to 8pm at night although apparently it is mentioned, and there is a thirty euro charge for late check-in. Because of bad mobile connection in the area my texts did not get through to Franco and we waited nearly an hour for him to come and let us in at 11pm.
