Pool area was excellent room was a bit simple
Wonderful pool area. Only the bar desk, not nice sitting area nearby
The hotel in conveniently located in Boa Viagem, close enough to the Ocean and at the same time far enough to avoid the noise and traffic of the oceanside. Hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent. Like most of the buildings in Recife having a smell caused by the high humidity levels, this was not an exception, even though the staff made everything possible to help
1. sport center closed between 12 and 4pm. Absurd. I choose the hotel even for that reason, and if I wanted to jogg at 3pm I have to make a story at thereception. 2. I asked for a little iron for 1 hour. they do not have it for security reason
no hassle for tips from any staff. quick and easy check in and out. baggage carried to room promptly and full intructions for use of TV rather faded decor for star rating,
I dont like nothing. There was dirty, broken lights, air-conditioner was very lauth and dont work very well in room was very hat.
The pool looked beautiful although we did not take the time to enjoy it. I'd rate this hotel less than 1 star. The room was very old and run-down. In need of much repair. We reviewed two rooms before accepting one at 1am in the morning. Floor career stained badly, walls dirty. The bathroom in need of desperate repair and renovation. I would equate it to the worst motel 6 in California, but actually I have never stayed in such a rundown hotel ever. And for the price I expected much better. I had originally planned 3 nights but only stayed one. The pool was the only thing nice about the hotel. It really should be closed for repairs and renovation. If you want a nice clean and comfortable accommodation this would be far far from your expectations. And the staff told us they parked the car in the garage and charged us for it, but they parked on the street instead, so we had to demand our fee be returned. Lastly the free wifi/internet is very very slow in your room And dropped often as we were looking for another hotel.
Spacious room, good breakfast Rather run down hotel
Excellent staff, wonderful location, stayed there before and will do so in the future
The staff were friendly at this hotel. It was closely situated to the beach and had a reasonable pool (though looking a little dated). They also provided free WiFi, however this did not work in our room and only in the pool area / lobby. Our room was very outdated (looked like the last fit out was in the 60´s). The ceiling in the bathroom was only partially covered, revealing a very old and very dusty air conditioning unit! This hotel would have been nice closer to when it was build, however they should renovate to be asking the prices they do.
The hotel was located near the airport and the beach. The hotel is in need of updating and a deep cleaning. The entire place smells of mold.
It was low cost and a not bad location. The staff were pleasant The lobby was nice but the elevators, halls and rooms were very rundown and needed updating. The bed was a disaster!!
The staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Good English. Not a U.S. 4-star. Don't expect that type of comfort.
The service was great, the food was excellent and it was very good value.
do not stay here no air conditioning in room, dirty floors and bathroom, unfriendly staff
The view, the pool, and the brakefast were nice. The bath tab was really old and the first time i opend the shower yellow water came out. The location is not really in Recife at all have to travel 15-20 min fro city center. They make you pay for everything that they present as "services" e.g. gym.
Probably one of the worse hotels i have ever stayed. As a business traveler do not recommend to anyone. Breakfast full of moskitos around the food . Temperature was a nightmare. Rooms have no blanket !!!!!
We have apreciaed the cordiality of the staff and the disponability of them. The holtel faciities was good. The room and was poor, several times we was not able to open the door. Very poor was the qualitly of the bathroom, seams like a 2 star hotel.
The hotel is ok, but the five stars are overrated. It is a 3 1/2 star hotel. Internet connection was poor. The beach was not very impressive. If you look for better beach facilities you should move closer to Recife (Boa Viagem) where leisure activities will also be better. The personnel was nice as in most Brazilian hotels where I have been.
The hotelstaff wa very helpfull Swimming in the sea wa not possible because of the rockets just in front of the hotel and the shark warnings
The staff was trying to be helpful, but their lack of English skills makes it very difficult to converse. One young lady at the desk was proficient in English and was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is quite good. Every meal I had there was tasty and the daily breakfast was hard to beat. The view of the ocean over the palm trees is quite nice. No apparent ability to call taxis. The morning rush to the football match was a mess, they were completely unprepared. The rooms are old and dated, but comfortable enough. Without air conditioning, they would have been unbearable. The air conditioner window cut-out leaked due to the driving rains. Little bugs in the room on the desk, probably mites. Hopefully they are still in Recife and not in my home! This is a no frills place a bit further southeast than the nicer areas with perhaps more action in Recife.
Its good location and proximity to the beach. Breakfast was decent too. Hotel is situated in touristy neighborhood, I was robbed in the alley going to the beach just to the left of hotel in the broad daylight. Use the safe deposit box provided!
location, roof top facilities overpriced for its category, poor satellite choices, there are better options in the area.
Excelent location, next to all nice clubs, night life but also beaches and the old town of Recife. Excelent for young couple but also for romantic vacation
The rooftop swimming pool was nice, though small. The breakfast was one of the better we found in Brazil although average by European standards. The 'sea view' was not worth paying extra for, as the hotel is situated some 100m or so from the sea.
The front desk was very helpful to this non-Portuguese speaking customer. The room, while small, was all I needed and it did have a view of the ocean. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The included breakfast had a good variety of fresh items. The hallways where hot and humid but who spends any time in a hallway anyway? The air conditioner was a bit noisy but did not really mess up my sleeping. The one item missing from the breakfast selection was bananas, which i found strange coming from a part of the world where bananas seem to be readily available.
I think tha localization was good, but the rooms and the bathrooms ware not confortables
the free wireless internet was great, the hotel was near the beach. the staff was attentive and helpful the breakfast was fantastic and tasty. not much choice when it came to food. the hotel was far from the center of town. the only English station was the Communist Network News (CNN) the beds were not very comfy. the view from the room was a roof of a building next door. The room had a broken a/c unit, which was replaced. the hot water was seldom hot. the safe never worked,
staff are well trained, always ready to help a turist and very kind; very good breakfast site did not announce that the swimming pool was not available; need to review air conditioning
Well located, friendly staff and very good breakfast.
The buffet breakfast was worth looking forward to, would like to there again just for the breakfast Workers doing construction every day I was there, right nnext to my room. Management had no explanation but sorry
The bathroom didn't have good isolation. You could hear the neighbor's "activities"...
The staff is great, very helpful, service oriented. The facilities were good but do need some minor maintainance.
The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean. The location was perfect for us, we wanted to be close to the airport.
Well run hotel, helpful staff, good satellite choices, good location. Also the restaurant is worthed. The room close to the pool can be a bit noisy, and I couldnt regulate the a/c
This hotel is at a great location, about 15 minutes from the airport, the cab ride is around $24 reais. There is a transfer included if you book through booking.com but you have to call days before to confirm. The staff are super nice and they speak english well, Breno helped us a lot at the front desk. The breakfast is amazing, lots of fruit, breads, cakes, cheeses and ham, also the typical meat (carne de sol) and "macaxeira"(yuca). There is also someone (Josi is her name) preparing omelets, "tapioca" just outside by the pool where we eat breakfast. The bar at the pool is open 24 hours and there's a nice lounge at the second floor. The city tour Recife-Olinda was great!! Leandro from the travel agency at the hotel helped us with that. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are ok, I would suggest some renovations for the bathroom but overall this hotel is still a great deal for the price. The air-conditioning system is good and their pillows are very soft, goose feather. The food price is a little overpriced but there is a "padaria" or coffee-bread place around the corner from the hotel where you can get bread and sandwiches for half of the price. The padaria also sell beer, sodas, milk, cookies and have lunch during the day. The hotel is also near by a shopping mall, about 6-7 blocks west, the mall is very nice and food is very good. The beach is about 3 blocks east...super nice and convenient! I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with kids and couples.
The staff was very good, and they speak English well. The breakfast is very good (many kinds of food, and you can eat at will, from 6h to 10h). They do not have a converter from electric plug of my computer (I am from France) to their switches/sockets in rooms, so I had to ask someone to another hotel to give me such a converter to charge my computer. The refrigerator and the air conditioner in the room are noisy. Especially, for my first room the air conditioner in the hall was very noisy, so I asked to change my room (and they gave my another one). On the last day, when I wanted to pay, my eurocard/mastercard card was refused by their device (there was surely a problem with their device), so I was forced to get out cash from a nearby bank with greater taxes.
We had 2 rooms reserved; one was OK which had been recently refurbished but the other room was very tired and in dire need of total refurbishment.
Internal palace, frendly personal on lobby, some rooms, some dishes in restorant some rooms without windows, poor antinoise isolation, too fried (as chips)salmon in restorant, the part of internal palace not defend from rain, too little swimming pool.
Very helpful staff The AC makes a lot of noise and worse is the fridge permanent noise once the AC is off. Sounds like a tumblewasher going on for ever. Get it fixed or remove. it s no good.
It was close to the beach. Hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were very unfriendly and did not really help.
clean room very small room small bathroom. for R$ 260 per night for this Deluxe Double Room, there are better options
our check in process was very quick and efficient and the staff was wonderful, informed and very helpful.
