Pros: Hotel full of great pleasures from the excellent buffet breakfasts, pool right from our hotel room door, and amenities like their Thai spa.
Cons: Couldn’t flush paper at all in their toilets. So had to get used to that. Always applied bugs sprays for mosquitos

Cons: The Staff at check-in & especially check- out was unfriendly & sounded rude. I was the only person at that particular time to check-out and was made to wait for about 25 minutes by the lady staff member on the grounds that they needed to check the room I stayed in. The experience was quite humiliating. Room was pretty small with twin beds, the bathroom shower didn't work properly maybe because the housekeeping or technical staff never bothered to clean the nozzles of the same as most of them were blocked.

Cons: Got rooms on discount. Would not have been happy if I paid $250 like they are listed now. But for $125 it was good.

Pros: Staff were absolutely lovely. Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was fantastic; fresh, well cooked, and a wide array of options. Pool access room was incredibly convenient.
Cons: Pool had lots of 'floaties'. All will be from the trees around, but was a bit much. Something about the air con system in the room made the room smell damp and a bit mouldy, but only at night for some reason. (We'd notice if we left and came back to the room after about 7pm, but never during the day). However, we adapted and it wasn't really a bother after you'd been in the room for 15 minutes.

Pros: Thanks for having the comforts of home. I felt relaxed and welcomed at Patong Resort. I felt safe and I appreciate your reasonable price for the such a lovely hotel. Swimming in your outdoor pool was a favorite!

Pros: The location was really great. The staff working the rooftop bar was absolutely fantastic.
Cons: My fiancé got a temporary hana tattoo and it left a few spots on the floor towel. The room staff made 0 effort to clean it and simply billed my room for the price of about 10 new floor towels.

Pros: Replacement room was very nice ,but had to put complaint in writing before anything was done .
Cons: I didn't like the first room I was given .I didn't like the way the staff would no admit their was a problem with wifi .I offered to downgrade my room if they gave me a room where the wifi worked .I think the replacement room I was given was what I was meant to have in the first place .Wifi still not good enough.Totslly unacceptable in this day and age to have sub standard wifi .In the first room I was given it would take up to 7 minutes to log on and I had to stand in the hallway .

Pros: The location was ok. 3 min walk to the beach. New resort or at least updated. Very good breakfast. Probably the best I have had in a doubletree.

Pros: I've stayed at many a resort and I have never been so dissatisfied. Although the room was large and stated that there were accommodations for 4 the second bed was a pull out couch that opened up to a flat mattress on the floor. The brochure stated there was a washer and dryer, coffee maker, in unit and a gym and business center. We called down for more towels and to have to help open the safe since it failed to open and have yet to see anyone show up.

Cons: It’s not a 5-star hotel. Older and somewhat outdated. The mattress was very hard and the pillows were thin and worn-out. Impossible to get a good night sleep. On top of it, the noise from the street was extremely loud untill early morning, every day. The toilet didn’t flush properly. It seemed that the staff didn’t understand English well when I asked for help. I would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: Beautiful grounds
Cons: Horrible service. Staff barely spoke English and were super unhelpful, unaccomodating, making it a bad experience. A resort is more than a place to sleep, it is also having the resort experience. This is just a place to sleep with no service, may as well go to a hostel. Bed is hard, spa isn't open, taxis can't find it, pool was dirty, but the grounds are very beautiful and peaceful and nice design.
