Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it convenient for exploring the city and accessing transportation. The service, especially at reception and from baggage staff, was frequently described as friendly and helpful. Many guests enjoyed the breakfast selection and quality, while cleanliness and comfortable beds were also highlighted as positives. However, some reviews mentioned issues such as long queues at check-in, crowded areas, construction noise, and occasional problems with facilities or room features. Good. Staff is very professional & friendly.
Excellent location and room was perfect
Everything location , breakfast room and most of all easy access to all places.
Pros (+) Great design and amenities, helpful staff (especially front desk and restaurant), amazing food and taste of Norway in restaurant. Good leisure facilities. Surprise upgrade to a business room for being a return traveller. Fantastic location.
Cons (-) Housekeeping in the room. Found a little brown "surprise" in the toilet when first arrived and spotted some black residue coming off of the plug in the bath
Pros (+) It was clean
Cons (-) The hotel was very basic. We had stayed in a Thon hotel for two nights prior and this was much nicer. Breakfast had more choice and tv had more channels. The swimming pool is on a different floor to changing rooms so had to walk in a towel down some stairs. Outside lift was not working which my daughter wanted to use. Then found out lift was working but not for hotel guests.
