Myself and 4 freinds used hotel for weekend break. Location was excellent for everything and very easy to find from directions given by hotel staff. Rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels each day. Liked the tea/coffee facilities in foyer as it gets you out of your romm and enjoy hotel more. Food excellent and no shortage. Staff friendly. would recommend this hotel to anyone. Price excellent. No complaints . watcfhing out of window a bus and a car reversed into parked car. Drivers seemed to have no respect for other cars
Hotel excelent value for money, ideally situated - close to Old Town, bus station, port etc. Lovely breakfast, clean and comfortable. Perfect for a City break. Second time we have stayed here - and would visit again.
well located- 5 minutes by walk to cental bus station (with direct connection to/from airport) and 5 minutes by walk to port and promenade. I recomend this hotel rather for short stay eg as transfer hotel if you travel to Corcica by ferry via Nice hotel is clean, however needs renovation
Location good, near old port and old town. Had parking which is a real bonus in Nice. No bar.
convenient location to the old town and free internet if you bring your laptop the bathroom was a bit strange and it smelled of wet towel (I think it is the shower curtain)
The hotel was modern, clean and tidy, and quiet. Great location just around corner from the Marina, and not much further from the Beach. Breakfast was great! Absolutely no complaints!
The facilities are in order and clean. Hotel staff did not answer my in coming phone from usa at night. I have important business for it. They put the phone system on automatic answer. The desk staff or the phone system should be always connected. In case there is emergency. The phone did not work at night. It is very fatal mistake for hotel business and for customer.
Very enjoyable and met our needs. I think I left my hat there. White sun hat? Would be great to have it back, if possible. Dianne Colquhoun, 16 Earnock Avenue, Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland ML1 3EX. No complaints.
excellent location, quiet, ideal for family breakfast can be a bit more diversified, the rest seemed to me that it's OK
Folks, this is a clean no frills hotel with everything you need and nothing you don't. Paid $75 a night. The location is the best there can be, right next to the old town and right next to all the busses by the port, which you'll need to get around the riviera. Rooms are clean, and a decent breakfast is included.
Lovely place, all very artistic. Good facilities including kitchen with microwave. Very convenient for catching early ferry to Corsica.
Nice big room, very beautiful garden, friendly personnel, Very clean room. The location was good. There was no a/c and it was really hot in the room. Had a problem when taking a shower and another person opened another tap the pressure of the cold water was low. There was not enough shower gel and shampoo.
The staff were very friendly and it was convenient to the old port. More like a B&B than a hotel, it did not have any facilities, like a bar or lounge area
Congatulations to the owners! Everything was superb! Beautifull, clean, excellent home made breakfest. Runned with the heart, the head and the artistic passion. Thank you from Portugal, we will meet again.
It's really fabulous. Specially the staff and the breakfast in the morning we really liked it and we'll back again for sure
friendly environment with free parking and room size adeqate with all cooking facilitities and free Wifi available cleanliness of cooking facilitites not good and location of hotel is quite far away from the beach and location of hotel quite difficult to locate esp. by driving.
Very friendly owner and family. Excellent value studio and outdoor balcony within Villa. A few minutes walk to Old Nice or to the beach. Gorgeous garden.
the hotel is an beautyfull artistic place . with many caracter. its a quit place . very romantic aera . it even has spa and little swimmingpool on reservation. only 5 tv channels . freezer has to much frost .
The owners are so hospitable and they make you feel that you are part of their family.Beautiful location. We would stay there again. No.
Very friedly service, calm hotel located in close vicinity to the port. I felt almost like home. I would return to this hotel any time I am in Nice again.
we loved it ;the hotel is excatly what we like .A cosy, charming retreat clean and spacious rooms.this hotel is a must!
we are an aùerican couple living in Paris. We could nt expect something better then villa la malouine ;One can smell the coffee in the staircase when you head to the terrace facing the hotel, which is lovely ,full of flowers,a grapefruit tree, mimosa tree... the staff is very helpful and has arrange every thing so we felt confortable.rooms are perctly clean and quiet. We will come back
We were stunned by the quality of the hotel. It is charming, spacious and so clean! We chose this hotel after recommendation of friends who visited and now keep coming back since 15 years. We loves it! A plus is the lovely terrace for breakfast and its delicious bread.
I thought the garden was nice The standard was below average. I expected it to be a lot grander. I didnt like the fact that there was no night porter in the evenings. Receptionnist was average and didnt know much about where to go out in Nice except for an english bar.
The Superior room, which we had reserved through booking.com, was of a very low standard. Fortunately, we could change it, for extra payment, for a junior suite - it was nice! The Superior room was lousy and very poor! The toilet was so small that you could not use it.The staircase upstairs is too steep. We had chosen the hotel because of its location, as we had to take a ferry to Corsica the next morning. However, the distance to the harbour is much longer than the impression one gets from the hotel description - 20-25 min. walking with the luggage.
we had a recommendation from friends and we were not disapointed;it s a charming hotel that is a must stay in Nice.It s a walking distance from the old town and even with our car we didn t have to use and it staid in the parking of the hotel.breakfast are simple but good in the shade of the grapefruit tree.It s close to the sea so you can hear sea birds coming along.Rooms are redecorated and very clean .
The breakfast on the terrace, which was served when we wanted it and not at some pre-designated hour, was pleasant and tasty. Great croissants! Also, probably the best shower head on our trip. That when we would leave the Villa, we had to leave our key. Which wouldn't have been a problem if it was left behind the front desk, but it's left at the entrance. So not only could anyone enter our room, but they would, in fact, know that we were not there. As far as we know, no one did enter our room and our stuff was perfectly fine. But the concern was there. Also, the site says there was wi-fi there, but I could not detect any, and in the evening there was no one to ask about it.
This was a stunning place to stay! The owners are charming and treat you like real guests. The coffee smells nicely in the cosy living room, along with fresh croissants. I think the prices are quite resonable and I strongly advice the double superior room. My friends had the Junior suite and it was also amazing!! Two thumbs up !!!! Nothing was wrong, I just think it was amazing holidays, which I wish everybody to have!
If people can find something positive to say about this hovel I would be stunned. Rien de positive. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was dingy, dirty, the towels were grey and the texture of sandpaper, the "welcome" was sullen. The carpets were tacky with grime and we had to put the blankets on the floor to avoid staning on them. Shower had two heads, one facing the wall and the other with virtually no water pressure, shower curtain mouldy. This was the last hotel with availability in Nice, now we know why. Do not stay there if you have any alternative, yuk. Tout était sale, les serviettes épouvantables, le tapis gluant. C'était avec bon raison que çe soit le dernier hôtel à Nice avec des chambres disponibles. Ne réservez pas ici si vous avec aucun choix.
