It was an ideal choice for us especially having just flown across the Pond taking nearly 20 plus hours. It was close enough to Nashville airport but not too close. Would definitely use the hotel again.
very helpfull staff and pool area
Nothing The staff were horrid. The hotel is filthy it smells. No carts for luggage no service no help. Disgusting. One of the worst stays of my life.
The pool was nice. Everything went wrong. The hotel didn't have our reservation and even threw is out when we got upset that they didn't even let us to use the Internet free of charge to prove that we had a pre-paid (!) reservation. We had to drive to the nearest Starbucks for the Internet and then they finally but not eagerly gave us a room from the first floor with a very noisy air-conditioner! For the breakfast they only give one coupon per room and again we had to fight for our rights to get the breakfast for both of us as we had paid for. Can't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Proximity to downtown Nashville and hockey Needs a major update on appearance. Rooms were poorly cleaned, toilet took multiple flushes just to get TP to go down, vending machines only had beverages and shuttle service limited due to a call-off so we had to drive downtown and park on Saturday night.
Shuttle service and extremely helpful staff
Not a thing. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The Fourier smelled like sewer and every night about midnight the rooms started to wreak of sewer. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom like it hadn't been cleaned. When we got home to unpack our suitcase and all its contents smelled of the stench. So gross.
The room was very clean and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quick ride to downtown (10 minutes) and the airport (20?). The shuttle was somewhat understaffed and I wound up needing to cab to downtown for a meeting even having planned 45 minutes in advance. And surprisingly the coffee in the restaurant was awful. I would have expected better from the real Maxwell House.
The staff was very helpful and courteous. The fact that there was no restaurant that stayed open until late at night.
Staff members were okay The hotel is not where I would stay again. It is worn down pretty bad. The rooms reminded me of a "Budget" type "motel". The carpet was worn and stained throughout the entire room. I have plans to returned back to the "Hilton" family type hotels. obtw- they charge for everything....meaning the little extra stuff that many other hotels give away. I am on the road about 5 months out of a given. The extra stuff is what makes me come back to those locations when back in that area.
It was in a good location for our needs. Great view of the downtown skyline. The room especially the bathroom was not as clean as I would like. The bottom sheet was either too small or not fit properly. It rolled up during the night and I found myself sleeping on the bare mattress.
The front desk had my information wrong and the wrong dates for my stay. When pointed out they were rude and a first refused to change them. Luckily I had my confirmation email. The bathroom was first as well.
Easy to find and in a quiet area away from everything else. Great breakfast in the morning!
Guest Care Staff at the Front Desk were great. Jonathan was really helpful and answered my questions immediately. The linen on bed had human hair in it which I pulled out. I went to the front desk to request more sheets. While I was changing the bed, I discovered that the mattress pad was filled with long hair. I did not bother to go back to the desk. I was tired and wanted to go to bed. I just used the new linen. There was also a empty soda bottle in the dresser drawer and 3 bottles of beer in the refrigerator. ( I presuming from the last guests). I'm usually not a picky customer but,I am giving up on Marriott. This is the second time I have been placed in a room that was very clean. (The first was in NYC). Thank you for allowing me to share.
Room and breakfast great. Staff very friendly Wish there were more restaurants close by
The staff were all very friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of the breakfast buffet. The picture of the pool online looked a lot bigger than it did in person. I was a bit disappointed.
