Pros: Old. Needs a complete renovation of interior. Wi fi also needs to be updated and strenghthened. Location and rooftop restaurant are only selling points right now.
Pros: The staff was helpful and nice
Cons: They need to update the hotel a bit it's very dated it's like stepping into 1945. They need to make the hotel like Thr terrace they have on the very top there is a restaurant there and it's the only area of the hotel that I would consider a 5. Star.they should use the style of that restaurant for the entire hotel.

The hotel is situated in a strategic position of Naples: just a few steps away from the Stock Exchange, the centre of business, from the harbour and from streets such as Via Toledo and Via Filangieri, recommended for shopping. Cons: They implied that breakfast was included then we got whacked for 27 a head on breakfast. Most expensive muffin I ever ate
Pros: Old world charm and great location. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated.
Pros: Close to dining and shopping. Close to the port to catch the ferry to Capri and the other islands. Its the best hang out spot in naples. Staff was friendly.
Pros: The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants
Cons: Seemed like one day this was a grand hotel. Today it's old and dusty. The room size was great but the sheets were rough and the hallways looked like they needed to be vacuumed.
The Excelsior Hotel is the historical luxury hotel on the seafront of Naples, facing Castel Dell'Ovo. It offers splendid rooms with panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples. The roof-garden restaurant "La Terrazza" offers an excelent cuisine with breathtaking views.
Once inside the front door, the hotel is exceptional. The food in the roof top restaurant was great. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was more than friendly.
Pros: The staff was very helpful, the hotel was very clean and the food was excellent.
Cons: The location is not the best. I tried to pay a -- euro bill in -- euros cash and they were unable to make change. I ended up overpaying by 2.5 euros.

Only stayed 1 night, but it was in a great location. Near lots of restaurants.
Cons: They need magnifying mirror in bathroom
Pros: Location was perfect
In the charming Bay of Naples, close by the tourist port of the same name and the Castel dell«Ovo («Egg Castle«), the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia has always played a leading role in Parthenopean hospitality. The cult of privacy, the ever attentive service with its particular emphasis on detail, and the cordiality of the staff, has always set apart this refined abode which many, a large number of celebrities among them, have come to call their second home. The elegance, the carefully selected ornamentation, the furnishings in the style of warm Mediterranean colours and the bathrooms fitted out in precious marble; these are the features of the 96 rooms and suites, nearly all of them overlooking the characteristic Borgo Marinari.

Housed in a prestigious neoclassical building that was painstakingly restored in 2013, the Partenope Relais exhibits all the elegance and harmony of a stylish hotel in the enchanting setting of the Bay of Naples
Pros: View of Naples was great, from roof top terrace, and restaurant
Cons: Bathroom was in horrible condition. Lights not working, heavy mold and mildew growth in bathroom, bathtub broken and in disrepair
Cons: Very weird vibe.
Pros: Is a different experience to be hosted in a Monastery
Cons: the location is really bad
Pros: The view is incredible; so is the building, which retains lots of its historical charm. The breakfast is ample and well done on a huge terrace overlooking Naples.
Cons: They play pop and elevator music pretty loudly at the pool during the day. The internet service requires that you re-enter the password constantly. Both of these things were pretty annoying.
A haven of peace overlooking the bustle of Naples. Our hotel nestles on a hillside above the historical city centre in a beautifully converted 16th century monastery. We have transformed the monks’ cells into 45 elegant rooms decorated in soft colours, and created a floral roof garden and pool with stunning sea views from Vesuvius over to Capri. Top-notch facilities and a picturesque location make our hotel a wonderful base for exploring the treasures of Italy’s third city.
Pros: Very clean and helpful staff. Convenient location but not a great neighborhood. That said we still found a lot of good restaurants that were walking distance and travelled in a group
The ibis Styles Napoli Garibaldi hotel is located close to Napoli Centrale train station and Garibaldi metro station. The historic center of Naples, with its characteristic alleyways, the Galleria Umberto I, Piazza del Plebiscito and the Napoli Sotterranea underground tour, is within easy walking distance. Ideally located for visiting the surrounding areas as well (Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum). Paying partner-operated parking garage near to the hotel. Bar open from 5pm to midnight, Monday to Saturday.
Pros: Excellent location, clean room and good breakfast.
Cons: Extremely small room with very soft/worn mattress, safe deposit box in room does not work and extremely small shower stall (can't even bend down).
Pros: Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro.
Cons: The hotel is in a sketchy area and the room I had was noisy. I would not go out after dark. I was sexually harassed on the street one night while I was trying to get dinner. During the day was okay though. The room was also cold at night and no matter what setting I put the thermostat at the temperature never changed. The tv and treadmill in the fitness center did not work. Also, the business center was not available due to renovations. In addition, I asked the front desk staff what/where there was to sightsee and I was just given a city map with no indication of where things were located. The woman just circled a broad area of the map and told me to go there. That was not helpful at all.
Pros: Bed was super comfy, the rooms were very clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure, the included breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Only thing not so good about this hotel is the location. Right next to the central train station, which is convenient, however the area is sketchy. Lots of pickpockets
Located in Naples City Centre, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, Cathedral of Naples, and Santa Chiara. National Archaeological Museum and Castel Nuovo are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Just 2.8 mi (4.4 km) from the airport, B&B Hotel Napoli puts you within a 10-minute drive of Cathedral of Naples and National Archaeological Museum. For a bite to eat, guests can check out Cavour, which serves breakfast. Rooms offer balconies, LCD TVs, and free WiFi.
Pros: Very clean and quiet room. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is great with easy access from the train station via the metro that's only about 10 meters away from the hotel. The staff were very helpful as well.
Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: Doing construction outside, bar not open, location OK but not great.
Located 4 mi (6.5 km) from the airport, Palazzo Turchini features a marina and puts you just a 5-minute drive from Castel Nuovo. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the coffee shop/café is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with bathrobes, slippers, and designer toiletries.
Cons: The neighborhood was terrible= Naples looked like it was rundown with crime from where this hotel was situated. The room was small and somehow, the shower opened directly to the bed. The lights in the room were on a sensor- so if you are showering and not moving, the lights shut off within 60 seconds. on my high standard, the hotel was essentially built to try and be a 5star, but failed to get there. the beds were terrible as well- 5 star hotel, i expect a queen or a king bed that is not a stiff European bed on a board. If you want a 5star luxury hotel, its not that. But it was nice.
Pros: The Romeo is an upscale, eclectic hotel, near the waterfront in Naples. The service is generally excellent, and the rooftop pool is unusual and not to be missed. The rooms are high tech, perhaps too much so.
Cons: The overnight shift at the front desk could use some retraining - indifference seems to be the primary attitude. Naples itself seems safe and is a vibrant city, but it sure is dirty and needs routine litter pick up and infrastructure maintenance.
This family-friendly Naples hotel is located in the entertainment district, within a 10-minute walk of Antico Bagno Stabilimento Balneare, Molo Beverello Port, and Castel Nuovo. Galleria Umberto and Teatro di San Carlo are also within 15 minutes.
Pros: Beautiful courtyard with inexpensive breakfast that is all natural and organic including traditional Italian meats
Cons: The gym facilities are terrible for weightlifting. Good for cardio.
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: Poor service, and the wifi did not work for 2 out of 4 days of stay.
Pros: The Palazzo Caracciolo was the best part of my visit to Napoli. I have dreamed of visiting this part of the world for many years and without my stay at the Palazzo Caracciolo I think I would have been a little disappointed in my visit to Napoli. The Hotel was fantastic!!
Pros: Rooms and the Palatial interior Courtyard
Cons: Neighbor was a little rough but eclectic
The sophisticated decor of the 146 rooms in this stunning hotel help create the perfect blend of historic detail and modern comfort.
