Munich hotels in Bogenhausen

Pros: Breakfast was very good, but not the best one as they say. There is a room for improvement. Communication might be a problem if you are not speaking German. They may get stressed but still OK.

Cons: Bed felt a little uncomfortable. There is no mirror in the room.

Pros: The breakfast was the only redeeming factor. Beautiful spread.

Cons: The mattress was the most horribly uncomfortable HARD slab on concrete I've ever laid on.

Pros: Love the property. It’s clean, fresh and with a great breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons: The location is not central, but it’s close to the underground. We were meeting friends who lived close to the hotel.

Pros: The location of the property is easily accessible from the city's centre, the bed is extra large and comfortable, and the breakfast is fairly good. The room has large windows and air conditioning, which is the supreme gift if you visit the city in August. The staff is ready to help you with any inquiry. If you need to buy anything, there are several options within 10-15 minutes of walking or traveling by tram. You can get to the hotel even if you stay up all night drinking beer in Marienplatz thanks to the night trams and busses. I recommend buying an isar-card if you stay for a week, either for 3 or 4 rings; this way, you can travel with busses, trams, U, and S, and move around Munich's inner circle, where all the touristic objectives are.

Cons: We had an issue with the Wi-Fi connection due to a one-hour rain that lasted for three days, and none of the staff members was able to help us. The cleaning ladies don't speak any English (basic knowledge, like: later, clean, dirty, sheets), so it's impossible to tell them anything or to understand what they tell you if you are not German. This might be a great way to learn German, though, haha. Moreover, even though they entered the room everyday, the dust was never wiped, which might be an issue for an allergic person.

Cons: I expected the hotel staff to be more hospitable and respect the guests staying there, the receptionist Ms. Yara Bohmann did not treat us in a good manner suitable to the hotel standards

Cons: The rooms and there is no hospitality around the hotel or in the staff .. it is pure B&B Concept and not sure why it’s rated 4 stars! Its a 3 starts Motel not a Hotel in my personal view and not sure how is Westin Brand is linked with such Property as there is no sense of Westin Brand and its well known quality in this Westin Grand Hotel!!!

Pros: We stopped on our european car ride for one night, the hotel was easy to find, the check in and check out fast, the garage behind the hotel also easy to use.

Pros: Nice, quiet location with a gas station/convenience store close by. The room was good with a decent view. This would be a great hotel to stay at if you are visiting someone in the neighborhood.

Cons: The location is in a residential area with nothing of interest close enough to walk to, and there is no rapid transit close by. As for the room, the layout of the bathroom for the tub is not great. It would be better with just a shower there instead of a tub.

Pros: Nice Hotel, room smaller than we liked, but well appointed. it was near our friends, since it is a bit out of the inner City Great Breakfast to start the day.

Cons: There is a serious luck of staff in the hotel and sometimes you have to really wait. Plus in the restaurant there was just one waiter who could leave restaurant with the guests in it for 10 minutes. Overall the hotel needs refurbishment and it does not suit his 4 stars.

Cons: There was a problem with check in, because the staff could not find me for a long time in their programme system.There is a serious luck of staff in the hotel and sometimes you have to really wait. My room number was placed near the room number with small and really noisy children who always played in the corridor in front of my door. Before I checked out at 12 o'clock the key cards were already blocked at 11 o'clock and I could get in the number and I had to solve this problem with reception staff. All together it is not a good impression of this hotel. The hotel needs refurbishment and it does not suit his 4 stars.

Pros: It's a business hotel basically. The hotel staff are all very friendly. There is ample parking if you have a car. The price of the breakfast is too steep. There's a nice Italian restaurant in front of the hotel.

Cons: Too far fron Central Munich, very expense to get to by cab. Staff really did not go out of their way to be friendly or pleasant. One was actually a bit rude. I was told I could not check in until 3pm although I prebooked and prepaid.. yet others were allowed to check in while I was a the front desk. So I spent 2 and a half hours walking in the rain as I was too far from anything to visit.

Cons: Not cleaned well. We had opened and half drunken bottles of cola in the refrigerator. Used glasses still half filled with water in the room. Didn’t look like anyone payed any attention to cleaning before we arrived

Pros: Was just a perfect stay. The customer service was very good and and the stuff professional. the AC worked perfectly so we could keep the windows closed to keep the traffic noise outside. The location is very easy to find near the freeway. The Italian restaurant next door has a very delicious cuisine.

Cons: We had a leak in the AC and therefore we were offered to change the room. Yet the room we got was an upgrade, next door and the stuff was very helpful. The first room had only 1 chair.

Cons: The lady who checked us in first time treated us as idiots( me and my wife are engineer and pharmacist ) of course we know how to read and we’ve applied for visas for countries around the world so as a basic simple info we know what is the passport number is, the lady at the counter asked for the passport and pointed to the number telling us : this is the passport number in a very rude way( as if we asked at the first place) The other thing with the same lady we told her we are staying for 3 nights and we need to park in the hotel parking she told us that every time we want to go out we have to pass by the reception to get the going out ticket ( maybe bcoz she wants us to pay by hour not per night or maybe she just saw wants to bother us ) Thank God the next morning when we passed by the reception to get the ticket a decent guy was there and told us that we dont have to come every time to the counter and he will just print for us a ticket for the 3 nights once ! The boiled egg at the breakfast room was not fresh

Pros: This was our second time at the hotel in our trip around the south part of germany , in this time the staff who checked us in and out were all decent and amazingly helpful

Cons: Pillows are not comfortable Boiled eggs are not fresh at the breakfast This is my wife’s comment for what happened at the breakfast room: I asked a guy named ( vegalis i think) for a fresh omelets for my kid and waited for 15 mins ( the restaurant was not busy at all maybe only 7 tables occupied ) when I went back to ask for it if its ready I found another staff member ( i wish i would remember his name ) told me a very strange excuse for the delay ( it was 8:35 in the morning) He said the staff are busy preparing the LUNCH for the customer bcoz as u can see its very busy!!! But dont worry they will bring it to u I waited for another 15 mins ( I had to finish to check out as that was the day of my flight back to home) so I went again and asked a 3rd person whom was a lady and asked me to wait again , I waited for 10 mins more ( total of 40 mins waiting for an omelet in an empty restaurant!) and the guy I asked him first came to me asking what do I want !! I told him I asked for the egg more than 40 mins ago and in a very rude way he replyed that I didnt ! They can check their cameras for that. I told him I dont want it any more and that Im going to post this on booking And when I reported this to the reception They offered us a 10% discount as an apology ( for us it was nothing but at least they tried to fix what the staff at the breakfast room did ) I frankly relate this to racism becoz they didn't like that I was a hijabi person .
