I was charged twice for my staying and although I've contacted the site several times and it's been three weeks I still couldn't get my money back
Kelly at check in, superb. Ziggy, beach manager above and beyond. The beautiful lady who delivered room service at 1 AM and serenaded my daughter with a lovely Happy Birthday. All the staff were friendly, and excellent! The lobby decor. Also, no coffee shop.
Location, pool area, room & bed comfort. It is located right out of the loud crowd on Ocean Drive, so it is a lot more chilled and relaxed. Overall, much better than all other hotels on South Beach. I can't quite say it was a true 5 star experience in terms of appearance and for the premium price. But again, a lot better than the other hotels around.
Proximity to beach and Lincoln Mall. Our room was right off the pool which was super convenient. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer especially when I disputed some charges at checkout out. The facilities need maintenance. Particularly the pool area. Broken tiles and the bottom of the pool was chopping off in at least one large area. The bathroom also could use some maintenance. The vanity top had a chopper out of it and theme leftist was rusting in areas.
Every staff member said hello to me. Staff was very friendly The Spa experience was ok, Massage for a deep tissue was weak. The Sauna was not on, I turned it on but should be preheated for guests or what good is it. For $440 for 2 - 50 minutes massages I expect more.
Location is perfect for experiencing all that South Beach has to offer; staff was fantastic and very accommodating; food was very good; The way of the travel world now appears to be to charge little bits (or more) for every little thing, this was no exception.

I like the location and the beach area. The room had big stains on the carpet & it was not well maintained or cleaned.
The first night was a disaster. At about 5:45 p.m. I called down to report a loud fan/ motor annoying noise. They said they would send someone up. We left about 20 minutes later for a dinner reservation.When we came back later that evening it was late nothing had changed. we were to tied to do anything so we tried to go to bed. Sleep did not come for either of us easily and we were up a good part of the night. The next day I complained and the girl offered us a $50.00 credit and would move us down from the top floor in the same proximity. the noise was probably from the motors on the roof. Looking out after agreeing I saw all the fans from the building next door so I called back and said it was not acceptable. I was turned over to the Rooms manager (Emily) who was excellent we were moved closer to the front of the building, no noise good sleep a Ritz Carlton experience. First day terrible second day great. My room wasn't ready they put me in a smaller room with a single king size bed, I was traveling with my wife and two kids. the next next day I had to check out spend the entire day outside until 4pm then they didn't bring me my bags until six pm. When I asked to speak and complain to the manager. He offered an insignificant resolution that still left us completely unsatisfied.
View, No working shower, had to pay $45.00 to park my veichle the hotel! I mean are you kidding me, that's like going out to eat, and the paying the restraint to use their bathroom! Then I get up at 6am to get ready for my 8 am meeting, and the shower does not work!!! Unreal, sink was stopped up, bell hop watched me struggle down the stairs with my luggage. Terrible staff and service, if I wanted no service I would have stayed in a day's inn!!
that they "upgraded" me to a room for my inconvenience. The upgraded room was a so shitty and out dated the bathroom with black and white tiles looked like a black and white checker board ,, the room looked haunted ,,, the toilet was running all night long ,,, you couldn't flush the toilet ,, and it was just not worth the money!!!!

The convenience to the beach. Staff friendlyness and helpfulness. The price was very reasonable, the hotel structure and arts are beautiful. The hotel needs a renovation ASAP, the pool was extremely too small for the amount of people staying at the resort, they need to build more pools and perhaps a few hot tubs. The water front restaurant and bars needs renovation, cleanliness and more variety on drinks and food.
Nothing!!! Ashley at check in was ridiculously horrible!!! Manger came out he was horrible & no help!!! I was given t wrong info abt check not my fault but I'm t one they looking at crazy!!! Room was filthy hair every were left over definitely not mines!!!!/ Mildew in t bathroom.... Chipped paint, top sheet stinked, rooms old!!! I can complain all day abt that place especially t rude staff!!! Please don't waste your money on this hotel!!!! I read how rude t staff was but I always give people a chance boy was I wrong on this one!!!!!! Don't waste ur money!!
The nice and relaxing environment
I appreciated the staff upfront. The breakfast was great! The view was awesome. Due to me booking the room via a 3rd party website, I had to wait for a extended period of time to get my room. The front desk were doing everything they could to help me. In the room it was old. The TV didn't work and there were no towels in the room. So I had to go down stairs twice. The towels were old. After that it was ok. I would stay again. The old room is no fault of the staff.

It was incredible. The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool and beach. The staff is friendly and provide wonderful service. I would stay again at the National without a doubt.
We loved the pool and beach access at the hotel. The outside staff was amazing and super helpful. The $19 a day charge for pool/beach service was WELL worth the money spent. The first 2 rooms they tried to put us in were IN the stairwell. We read reviews that the hotel will put people in those rooms. It was VERY frustrating but they did end up moving us to a normal room on the 3rd trip down to the front desk.

Great access to beach, beautiful pool area. It took 50 min to get my car. I was told it was because of "shift change". I asked for the manager to call but they never did. Unreliable Internet. I was unable to connect.
It's nice to be in the middle of everything yet there is not a scene at this boutique hotel. Rather it is mellow and elegant. No ice machine and restrictions from bringing on outside food and drink
Nothing Air broke 2 nights terrible service terrible crowd and the TV was broken my whole stay. Everyday is have to complain about it and nothing was done. When I asked for at least a night or 2 free because of the inconvenience I was denied
I loved the exceptional customer service, Natalya was amazing. Customer service makes or breaks a vacation and the national definitely made it. Didn't like that our room was on the stairway but it worked out because we had loud music and we didn't disturb the neighbors.
Great location, architecture, and a clean room. The beach out back was beautiful and servers at the bar out back were great. There was a party there that didn't stop until 1am. Carpet wasn't laid correctly and had many humps to trip you up sometimes. Bed was on a wooden box frame with sharp corners that stuck out far enough to leave a few marks on your shins.
The location, easy to get to the beach One of the pools were being reconstructed, but there wasn't a notice about it anywhere on the site. Should've gave guest a discount. Very disappointed
We had a great stay till the end when they overcharged my card and a week later they are still holding the money. Jessica the Reservations Manager is rude and unprofessional. Very pricey and on top of that they hold over $400 you never spent on your card..RIDICULOUS!

Location Small rooms, rude staff and slow service, no hot tub, overpriced food, really annoying/small bathroom and closet, no Wi-Fi which was supposedly free and included, minimal outlets, ridiculous $19 daily service charge, slow elevator, lots of ongoing renovations with hammering early in the morning.
it's an appartement, you are on your own, you have all brand new applicances to cook and a supermarket at a 5 min walk. The Metromover 5 min walk aswell Hard to find
the room was really big with all the services provided, big tv, washing machine, drier, and also very clean. The room provided had a better view because we used booking.com (thanks booking!). There is a publix just one block away, a gas station an a walgreens (pharmacy). As we went with our baby, having a publix nearby was really helpful. internet wasnt working properly (just to say something), but we didnt complain with the staff about it, because we didnt care too much (i think it was because we where in the 7floor)
It was basically a one bedroom apartment with a huge bedroom. It was a beautiful room and I'd definitely recommend it and I'd definitely visit again. A dvd player would have been the cherry on top. There was no Iron in the supply closet. Other than this, I had all the comforts of home and then some.
The staff and the location are great! Thank you. Big changes from its former brand Habitat Miami. We weren't expecting to have a smaller suite and valet only parking. The business services / accommodations weren't able to meet all of our needs.
Practicality, functionality, good location, familiar, comfortable and spacious. Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive, we did two more reserves. One suggestion we make is to improve the quality of the mattress. Could be better.
Very clear, convenient and spacious habitat approximately 300 m from metro station (Metromover) 10 minutes from downtown. The kitchen equipment is very good (but I am a man).
Staff was very friendly, courteous and accomodating, food and drinks were delicious. The beds were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. The convenient access to the beach was great, as well as the beach chair amenity, twas welcomed! Due to the inconveniences my sister, cousins and I were given complimentary tickets for drinks and breakfast. Some staff were not truthful when faced with conflicting situations, which led to a lot of unwanted and unnessary aggravation, and wasted time. A lot of renovation was, and still is taking place, which also added to 2 of 4 elevators being unaccessible. Thus waiting for the elevator was a task. And getting on the elevator was another task, then getting to your room or the lobby was another task in itself. Had I known about the renovation that I was not told about, I would have booked another hotel. The room was not a replica of the luxurious room that was pictured. The refrigerator was not working, thank God I did not have my kids with me.
Overall very good experience. Excellent location and service. Rooms are clean. Spa was lovely. Upper pool is under construction and spa pool in bad need of renovation. The beach facing bar/ restuarant will also be a huge amenity when open (in the spring?) but I missed having a second food option onsite and ended up going next door.
Eden Roc's resort is nice. The private beach and pools are the best part of the hotel. Cabana restaurant was also good - but, they don't serve brunch and stop serving breakfast at 11am (a little early if you're on vacation). The food is a bit over priced as well. It's a good place to bring your family. DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WAIT UNTIL THEYVE FINISHED RENOVATING. The majority of the hotel is under construction. The entire lobby is closed off with white curtains due to the construction, leaving only the elevators and front desk assessable. The set-up makes the hotel dark and depressing. The decor is outdated. The staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. Most of all, the rooms in the main tower are NOT what you will expect them in a resort. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was tiny! The view was terrible! If you're going to stay here you have to stay in the ocean view tower and don't be afraid to pay for the best rooms available: only then will your stay be worth your buck.
The hotel was very clean, most staff members are very polite and friendly. The facilities provides adult pool separate to the regular pool for those trying to have an adult only trip. I had a few dislikes and not sure about returning. Staff tried their best to accommodate us for our concerns. My biggest dislike was the construction, all pools close at 8pm, and approach taking by some staff members to the facilities selective concerns with my family members.
The valet and restaurants service was ok. It was dated. The sheets in the bed were torn up. The phone was dirty. The fridge was broken (found out about that after 200 in good spoiled ). There was some woman that I could only say was a pimp yelling and cursing on her cell phone. When we asked if she could be removed they told us that she brings them a lot of business and is there all of the time. The elevator was old and their food was disgusting. I would never even walk through that place again even after they renovate
Right next to Fountainbleu. On the beach. Solid amenities. Nice bar scene at night. A little up from southbeach. Wish it was closer but you cant complain. Long walk to convenient stores

Renovations were taking place during my stay. It was extremely loud. Difficult to enjoy my room or time at the pool.
Pool was awesome, a few seconds to the beach. Very nice looking lobby, super comfy beds. Construction everywhere. I was not expecting it and would have chosen somewhere else had I known. Did not make for a relaxing day laying out by the pool with the constant pounding of a jack hammer in the background. Drinks and food were super overpriced for the size and amount of alcohol. Everything included 18-20% gratuity which will catch you off guard.
The room's view of the ocean! Wow! The room's layout - bed, space, yuge bathroom, closets, room safe, fridge... perfect. The parking valet, bell staff and counter staff were on their game and made our entrance and getaway as easy as it can be. We will be back! Thanks Eden Roc.

For a hotel right on Miami Beach, the Riu was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom didn't really have a door, just a frosted glass window that didn't totally close. Even though it was just me and my wife, the lack of privacy was weird. The room was definitely a little grungy, and smelled musty.
Good Location and Beach access. The hotel is a bit older and there is too much construction going on in the building next to and across the street.
I liked how close the beach was to the hotel I didn't like how when I arrived to the hotel, my boyfriend and I checked in and the room that was given to us was a double queen bedroom. On the site I booked the room from, it has the option on a double queen or single king bedroom and we weren't offered a choice. We ended up complaining to the front desk about it and they gave us a single King room.

How the cleaning staff took my towel.
The staff was awesome. We wanted a "street view". We got a nice view of the roof. A lot of broken glass & sludge to look at. In order to take a shower we had to lodge 1 of the complimentary shampoo bottles in the drain. We are only 5'5" in height & our feet hung off the bed while laying down. No blankets. Had to ask for them. The towels, bed sheets & the blankets didn't smell clean at all. The restrooms in the lobby smelled like someone cleaned with a dirty rag. Being a historical hotel, one would think it would be well taken care of.
It was conveniently close to stores and other bars. I love the music (jazz) station on one of the TV channels. This hotel has seen better days in its heyday and its living off of the legacy of what it used to be. There weren't any happy hours at the poolside bar. Towel station shuts down at 6 pm. Plus, a none refundable $25.00 resort fee per day. Guess what, I didn't use any of the amenities. This hotel needs a major overhaul and I'm not talking about a fresh coat of paint and a new conforter.
This place has history and location. They have done some nice updates to furnishings and the rooms and common areas are spacious. Tiki bar was our favorite. Customer service was polite but seemed to be disorganzied and advantageous. We had issues both with check in and check out. We paid for a deluxe room and was given a less then standard room. The upgrades are minimal to the room and in need of new paint and trim. Room smelled musty. Bathroom counter was stained, the one blanket in the room was old and crusty feeling. Was very disappointed in lack of furnishings in our room, poor use of space. As well as the noise. Tweens and teens were running and laughing up and down the halls at all hours. We called security. Still no change. Had to turn on music as a distraction to sleep. Noise did not stop till almost 3am. Also there was a 3 inch space between our door and threshold and we could hear everything. Worst night sleep ever. I hope they get some money to become what they could be and all I am sure they want to be. Highly suggest they do some two tone painting on the main structure to create some depth to the architectural details around the window, a large mural on the wall to the farthest right of the pool. A concrete stain to the patio area would be a great upgrade as well.
I just like the view but i had to pay extra for it. Over charges, hotel fee, pool fee, beach fee. For everything they have a fee. One of the worst customer service. The sink was cloak and call for to fix, that happend the very first hour we got to the hotel, by check out the sink was not uncloak yet, and we last 3 days 2 nights.

Right on the beach.. Big plus Misleading...extra charges for everything $19 for breakfast $30 each day for parking $25 a day for resort services.. Rooms very dirty.. Will never go there again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy..!!!
Brand new hotel. Beautiful views from the balcony. Great beach. Valet damaged my brand new camaro. Management was indifferent. They didn't believe that it was the valet because I had driven away after checkout.(valet had the door opened as I approached the car after checking out and they closed it when I got in) About five mins later I pulled over to get something out of my trunk and saw that the driver side door had been badly scratched. I immediately returned to the hotel and filled out paperwork to file a claim. Management was supposed to contact me after reviewing the camaras...and I've heard nothing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...sorry but I would expect a hotel like this to treat their patrons better.
The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated and everything was fresh and modern. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable and the bath towels were soft and nice and large. It was very nice being right on the beach. Oscar and Lesmar at the beach were very friendly & attentive. I had a long wait to check in, only 1 person doing check-in. The resort fee of $20 per day didn't include umbrella at the beach; and the fee is even added on for check out day when you have to be out by noon. Drinks were so expensive and not even very good. Also expensive valet per day charge.
Great location, we had direct access to the beach. The staff was excellent, specifically Ricky he was a great help. Overall great hotel I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Really chic rooms, almost like a W. Helpful front desk staff. Great restaurant. Generally cool and stylish design (unlike most other Hilton). Outside the front desk and the beach staff, service is a total mess. We couldn't get soap in our bathroom after calling twice, staff in restaurant forgets orders and is not attentive.
Our rooms were not available when we arrived. They had been sold. It was late at night. We waited over a half an hour before we were even acknowledged. We had to insist on rebooking us to an equivalent hotel. The process was a disaster and caused us to stay up until almost 2:30 AM. We had to negotiate with the new hotel at check out, to avoid additional charges. Hilton finally covered the expense.
I absolutely loved the beach being right behind the hotel. It was wonderful to just relax on the beach. The staff was amazing, especially Oscar, he was so wonderful! The staff was great and very accommodating It was a bit pricy for the valet (38$) and the resort fee (20$) I didn't like how expensive it was for a drink. Like seriously 6$ for a soda?!?

Liked the beach, beach chairs. Having to pay a resort fee on top of expensive room rates. Having to pay $19.00 for an umbrella. Did not clean one of the rooms one day. Asked for extra towels, did not get them. Drinks were expensive & could not taste the alcohol. Buffet breakfast expensive $25.00
The bathrooms were not up to date and the carpets were not clean. The room did not smell fresh and inviting.

Nothing Staffs are rude and nasty attitudes... Never heard them say sorry when they make mistake on your booking...keep charging money when we already paid. Half of the stuff are broken and almost all the ceilings are leaking.. No one speak English
The location Towels are the worst quality, pool is a joke so small look like a kiddie pool, bathroom have no place to put make up hair dryer or anything, there is only one mirror in the room and it's the one in the bathroom so I had to wait my boyfriend to get out the bathroom so I could get ready
Nothing! It's terrible, believe me!!! Don't look at the pictures, rooms are dirty, bathrooms are leaking, walls are messy. And totally, I don't like this hotel! I paid about 180 $ per night and It's NOT worth it AT ALL.

Location Everything. The hotel is nothing like advertised. The rooms do not look anything like shown in the picture. They aren't even close. They staff didn't leave clean towels after cleaning the room. Requested an extra blanket they took it away the next day. The room was freezing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Can get better deals for $10 more somewhere else.
Loved the views Charging my 7 year old 25 cents for a plastic spoon is outrageous!! And they had an issue with us requesting more towels! When cleaning the room they sometimes didn't even bother putting in new coffee equipment. The bathroom was barely clean, when's the last time they mopped? You had to be your own valet and bus boy at times. Ugh never again.
Comfortable bed, good shower, good breakfast for an additional charge. The beach and board walk are awesome. The action of South Beach is minutes away by bus or cab. The staff was very nice. The pool is small and the pool bar was closed for renovations. Everyday we woke up to loud repairs being done in the hallway. The chairs and umbrellas on the beach are an additional $25 a day, cash only. Fortunately, they discounted our stay because of these complaints.
Beautiful setting! Friendly staff! Beds hard as rocks! Small throw pillows/no bed sized pillows! Room looked shabby and in need of up date! Trim in bathroom rusty! Just kind of second class accommodations!

Close to the beach. Dirty, smelly, unclean, old. When I arrived, my room door was not even locked, the battery was out in the mechanism, though the staff fixed it immediately. They charge you $5 for the safe in the room, regardless of if you use it. Not proud of the fact I stayed here, but it was cheap and right by the beach.

Location Our reservation didn't go through and they had to put a hold on our account for $140 which they said would be lifted when we checked out, but once we checked out they said that the hold would be lifted in 3-5 days and it ruined the rest of our vacation because we ran out of money.

Location Bath tub was so dirty I had to shower with sandals on, hotel looks like it needs a lot of maintance and i rather pay $100 extra a night to feel more like home, this place is dirty and not cleaned well and I will not stay there ever again. You have to pay for the frig $10 for 48hrs, they took mine after 36hrs and I was not pleased with this hotel, it's more a like motel, needs more re-modeling asap and yes whole hotel smelled like marijuana , not good for a family stay, spend extra and go more inland because there is no free parking on south beach.

It was right on the beach. Close to many bars/restaurants. Elevator did not work half the time. Smelled like pot in the whole hotel. Shower was gross.
The hotel has a pool....The beach entrance perfect for families right behind the hotel ... There was Roaches in my room that sums it up....they have a bar that was never open .they don't have happy hour .....etc.
